Dino Lab...

"Hayley" Hunter greeted as he gave her a hug. "What do you need?"

"Hunter, we know you and Hart are connected with Daku, do you and Hart have a ninja link with each other?".

"We do, i am the only one who does". He replied.

"Why only you?". Tommy dared to ask. They haven't spoken since their fight.

"Because i was the only one she trusted after her accident, it was me and my brother Blake who found her that night" Hunter told them. "Wait you never knew that?"

"No we don't know anything about what happened that night we never gave her the chance to tell us". Ryan answered with shame.

Hunter nodded. "Look i will do whatever i can to help". His eyes glowed as Meera approached. "Hey girl"

"Hunter can you try to reach her?" Carter asked. Hunter nodded and sat down in front of the tiger.

Hunter put his forehead on Meera's head. "Come on Hart let me in, let me find you". Hunter yelled out as he felt like he was pushed into a wall. "Its not working, its like a wall in front of me. Where ever they are she is blocked from me"

"Uh guys we have trouble" Conner stated looking at the monitors. Zeltrax and Mesogog were at the beach.

"Lets go". They all morphed and headed out.

With the girls...

"Man i want out!" Hartley yelled trying to use her powers but nothing. "This is the like the time me and Dana got locked in our rooms at the base after we fought for hours".

"Seriously?"

"Yeah, i was angry she ripped my sweater so i told her she needed to buy me a new one and she refused, Carter locked us in until we made up".

Kira let out a groan. "Hart something is wrong?".

"Kira, oh no look". Hart pointed at the candle. The flame began to burn. Kira fell to her knees. Hart could feel the weakeness to. "Kira hang on, we have to fight". Both girls fell to their knees.

The Beach...

"Mesogog!". Ryan yelled as they ran up to the lizard. "Mesogog where is my sister? where are they?!"

"Oh they are safe and sound for now but that all depends on you".

"What are you talking about? what have you done?" Carter growled.

"Not so smart now are we, you see you might want to see this". He waved his hand. A cloud appeared showing the girls on their knees. "You see what you rangers are doing?"

"What are you talking about?" Ethan hissed moving forward.

"Oh blue ranger you thought the useless gems were completely destroyed, well you underestimate me". He held two in his hand. "You see Zeltrax found the green one and we had a piece of the yellow to create these.". He waved his hand as the image showed two candles.

"Rangers you are making them weak because those candles are connected to your gems and their life force, the more you morph the quicker their candles burn out and their life ends". Zeltrax finished.

"No" Tommy whispered. "Guys power down". The dino rangers powered down. Ryan and Carter did not.

With the girls...

"Kira hang on, we can't give up!". Hart cried as they fell to their stomachs. The candles were melting. They looked up when drones grabbed them. "Get off!".

Kira had passed out. Hart felt her eyes close just as they were dragged through a portal.

The Beach..

"You will pay for this". Conner hissed.

They jumped back when a portal opened revealing drones holding the unconsious girls.

"Hart! Kira!". Ethan yelled.

"Give up your gems now rangers or face the rest of your battles without your precious rangers". Zeltrax told him as they left, leaving the girls on the ground.

"Kira! Hart!". The guys screamed running to them.

"Hart wake up please". Ryan begged. He tapped her face as her eyes began to open.

"R-Ryan?"

"Its me, are you okay?"

"I think so.".

Conner grabbed Kira. "Kira please wake up". Kira groaned and opened her eyes. "Hey you okay?"

"Yeah i think so". She looked over to see Hart was okay guys helped them up. Conner held Kira by her waist. Ryan held his sister bridal style.

"Come on lets get them back to the lab". They nodded at Tommy and rushed back. Once they got back they sat the girls on the medical bed.

"Hart!" Hunter cried running over to hug her.

"Hunter?"

"Hey, i am so glad you're okay".

Ryan and Carter watched the two interact. it was clear they cared for each other deeply.

"Hayley what do we do?" Conner asked.

"I don't know, if you morph then-." She trailed.

"You guys will morph and fight". They turned to Hartley."We will figure this out".

"But if we do". Conner started, Kira held her hand up.

"Conner you are our leader, we both have faith you will get us out of this". Kira told him.

Hartley leaned into Hunter. "I heard you tore Tommy a new one".

Hunter grinned. "Yeah i did, i was out of line but he was to. Hart you never told your story to them?".

"No, I never got the chance".

Hunter frowned. "Hart you should, they really want to know".

"I will". Hartley linked her fingers into Hunters. She smiled when he kissed her forehead.

Hayley walked up to all of them. "Mesogog is right everytime you morph, those candles will burn. We are in a tough situation guys".

"Hayley any idea on where they are?".

"No, i'm still trying". She answered Ethan. "Right now our only advantage is that Carter and Ryan are not connected to the gems."

"Guys Zeltrax is with a monster downtown". Tommy told them.

"What are you waiting for go!". Hartley ordered them. "Look we know what's at stake please go".

The rangers nodded and left. "Ryan go its alright". He turned to his baby sister,

"Hart whatever happens you and Kira fight.". He told her kissing her head.

Downtown...

"Come out rangers, i am not in the mood to play hide and seek". Zeltrax spoke. "Cactuar be ready"

"Yes master".

"Zeltrax!" Tommy yelled. The rangers stood next to him. "This ends now!"

"Catcuar attack!" The monster was a huge cactus with golden needles.

The rangers charged unmorphed into battle. Ryan led the charge. Carter stayed in the lab in case something happened.

Conner ran towars the monster. He tried to kick its check but was tripped. "Man i hate needles" He complained as they stuck into his shirt. Cactuar picked him up and sent a punch to his chest. Ethan ran to help him up.

Ryan clashed weapons with Zeltrax. "Give it up metal head we will defeat you!".

"Strong words from someone who always let people down".

"You don't know what your talking about!" Ryan growled as he was kicked unto his back.

"Oh really, you left the girls alone, you practically handed them over to us onto a silver platter". He taunted Ryan as he kept him down with his metal foot. He sent lasers towards Tommy sending him back as he ran towards them.

Dino Lab...

"We have to do something, their in trouble!". Kira exclaimed watching the screens. Hartley came to stand next to her.

"You can't, you guys can't morph and neither can they". Carter spoke up.

"I don't care, we're going". Hartley told him.

"Hart no".

"Carter listen if there is anything you or anyone has taught me is that a ranger never gives up, let us go please?".

Carter hugged both girls. "We promise to back off if we have to". Kira told him. Hunter came over.

"Hart promise me you and Kira will come back. I know this isn't the time but this is something i have to do". Hunter bent down and kissed her. When he pulled back she had a smile on her face.

"Ready Kira?"

"Dino Thunder Power Up! HA!". The guys and Hayley watched as they ran from the lab.

Mesogog's Lab..

"Excellent, we have them right where I want them". He hissed as he walked over to the two candles which began to melt once again.

Downtown.

"Tommy no!" Conner yelled as Cactuar send needles his way sending him onto his back. "Dr.O!" Conner crawled over kneeling behind him.

"Get away from them!". The guys looked up to see the girls running, both morphed.

"No! go back, power down!". Ryan cried as he was held as a shield in front of Zelttax.

"You foolish rangers"

"I won't say it again Zeltrax let him go and back off". Kira threatened. She could feel her suit fading.

The boys got to their feet but Cactaur sent vines holding them in place.

Hartley ran towards the monster. She jumped but Cactuar send needles causing her suit to spark in her chest as she fell.

Zeltrax sent Ryan to the nearbay wall. Hartley cried out as she could feel her body shutting down. She managed to get to her feet. Kira hobbled over to her. Zeltrax grabbed the two of them by the necks.

"Your not worthy of yur gems or powers, Mesogog would be proud to see you failing". He taunted them. Both girls could hear the guys pleading.

Zeltrax slashed their chests sending them back. "I'm sorry Kira".

The guys watched in horror as their suits began to spark violently and explode. They watched as the two girls fell to their knees demorphing. "NO!".Ethan cried.

"Hartley! Kira!". Connner yelled reaching his hand out. When the smoke cleared the two girls were lying there motionless. Their dino gems cracked down the middle.

Ryan ran over aftter freeing the guys from the vines. He held his baby sister in his lap. Conner grabbed Kira.

"I told you that your a failure to everyone around you". Ryan glared at the cyborg in front of him. Zeltrax and the monster left them.

"Ryan is she?"

"No their breathing but barely". Ryan answered Ethan. "Hang on Hart, hang on".

Dino Lab...

"Oh god!" Hayley cried as the girls were carried in. "Are they?"

"Their still alive but barely, how could you let them leave?!" Tommy yelled at Carter and Hayley.

"We had no choice, they promised they would back off if they had to!". Carter defended. "Tommy we're sorry but she told us that a ranger never gives up". Tommy's face softened. He looked over to see Conner next to Kira while Ryan held his sister against his chest,

Hunter sat in between the beds. His head in his hands.

"I know how hard this is but i do have some good news, i found out where the candles are". They all turned to Hayley. "Their in Mesogog's fortress".

"How do i get there?" Ryan said in a menacing tone.

"If he goes i go to, this is my team". Conner spoke up, Conner could hear Kira's voice in his head telling him she had faith in him as a leader.

Carter grimaced at Ryan's voice. The last time he heard it was when he attacked the rangers four years ago. His eyes went to the girls who were struggling to stay alive.

"I will try to get a lock on an invisiportal like i did when Tommy was taken there". Hayley told them. "Hang on girls".

"Why are their gems cracked?" Hunter asked.

"Their bodies are so weak the gems power can't handle it, like i told them their bonded with their DNA, as their bodies fail the gems power does to". Tommy anwered him as Hunter took Hartley's hand.

"Uh Ryan your hands are orange". Hunter spoke in fright.

"Let...D-Daku guide...y-you". They heard the weak voice say. Ryan looked down to see the half opened eyes of his sister.

"Hart, you have to hang on. You know what he did to me?"

"I-I do,". Her breath hitched. "Let i-it in. let m-me in"

"What do you mean? Hartley i don't understand" He begged.

"Ryan she's asking for permission, she asking you to let her share her link with you" Hunter explained.

Ryan looked down at her weak face. "Yes litle sister always". She lifted her shaking hand and gripped his. Her hand glowed white as his glowed orange. Ryan felt a surge of heat go through him.

"Hunter what did she do?" Ethan asked quietly.

"She give him a link to connect with her. Fire and ice are opposites. Our link we share is we can connect into each others powers and cimmuicate through out minds. Ryan can now do the same". Hunter explained proudly.

Ryan watched as his sister closed her eyes. "Hang on Hartley". Ryan laid her down as he got off the bed. He watched as Hunter got next to her.

Tommy motioned for Ryan to follow him. They went into the kitchen. "Why now after all this time why share it now?"

"You know that answer".Tommy told him handing him a bottle of water. "You know its because she believes she won't make it".

"Tommy do you trust Hunter with her?"

"I do with every fibre of my life. I have known Hunter a long time so trust me when i say you have no worries with him." Tommy explained. "Don't let Zeltrax get into your head like Diabolico did, Hart and Kira know you didn't fail them".

"Guys Hayley got a lock on a portal" Conner informed them as he ran up the steps.
