It didn't take long for the Pack to reach the Baratie. Surprisingly it didn't take very long to convince the Baratie Chefs to join them. When their ship arrived at the Baratie there was an almost destroyed ship and a crew of over 100 starving men. Izuku had Sanji help feed the obviously starving crew. His sensitive hearing picked up shouting from inside the establishment. So he investigated, the captain of the pitiful crew was ordering the seafaring chefs to cook enough for his crew, then to give up their ship to replace his almost sinking one.

The arguing stopped when they felt a powerful presence in the doorway. Izuku strolls in like he owns the place, flanked by Katsuki, Neji, and Sasuke. His piercing green eyes observe the scene in front of him. The arguing is due to an older man with a braided mustache pushing through other chefs to the kitchens. One of the chefs shouts loudly, "Master Chef, this is our chance to turn him into the marines! If we feed him, he will just attack us when he regains his strength."

The chef continues to walk into the kitchen, ignoring the pleas of the others. Izuku nods firmly, this must be Zeff, Sanji told him about their time stranded on a rock with nothing but a loaf of bread and a bag of treasure. That Zeff gave the only food they had to Sanji, when the man ate his own leg.

Izuku releases the tight control he has on his presence, letting it flood the restaurant and stopping everyone's thoughts. He walks through the gaping-faced crowd with confidence to Zeff, determination in his eyes as he nods. Getting a studious look from the man, he turns around to stop the chefs from stopping the man.

"Who the fuck are you, Bastard!" one of the chefs shouts.

"Whose side are you on!?"

Blah, blah, blah.

Izuku couldn't really care less, he just stares at the pitiful captain still on his knees. "You will get your food and tend to your crew." The tone Izuku uses dares the man to disobey, but even as the man nods, Izuku can tell it is a lie. Izuku glares, "attack this crew, after they have fed you," Izuku smirks ferally, "I will destroy you!"

Sanji steps into the Baratie with a plate of food and a bottle of water, placing it in front of the kneeling pirate. "THANK YOU!" the pirate cries grateful tears as she shovels food into his mouth.

The other chefs, stand confused, they thought Sanji was killed, "Sanji is that you?!" Sanji doesn't respond, and the other chefs start to berate him for feeding such a terrible guy. Everyone shouts the unhanded tactics the man has used to conquer the east blue. Sanji ignores them, he continues to stand between the chefs and the pirate captain.

Once the captain finished his meal, he decides to attack Sanji. He clotheslines him to the floor of the restaurant. To the shock of everyone there, Sanji erupts into green flames to heal his bruised body. Kreig doesn't notice the rising bloodlust coming from Izuku, as he turns to someone Izuku thinks is part of the man's crew. And Izuku starts to see red as he watches the captain grip his crew member by the throat-cutting off the pained scream. "Nice restaurant you've got here." He directs his attention to the chefs, "I'll take it."

Izuku tunes out everything around him as focuses intently on his friend. Even though Sanji is surrounded by guns aimed at him, his conviction about feeding the starving crew doesn't waver. And it is Sanji's conviction that keeps Izuku from killing everyone on the ship. One of the other chefs pulls out a shoulder cannon, a fires it at the captain, destroying a part of the ship.

After the smoke clears the captain is still standing, his body covered in golden armor. "Serving that pile of crap for dessert… this is the worst restaurant I've ever been to…"

The chefs rage and charge the man with pitchforks and any weapons they have. And as they charge Izuku finally moves. His feathers paralyze the chefs causing them to face plant the ground. Katsuki, Neji, and Sasuke move the chefs out of the way. Izuku draws his two feathers and repels the bullets that fly in every direction, cutting them in half and having them land on the ground harmlessly.

Izuku stands there unscathed, ignoring the man's god speech. The owner comes with a huge sac of prepared food and drops it at the man's feet. The captain's reaction to the man cements that the owner is Redleg, Zeff. The captain rants about his failure in the Grandline, "that ocean shrouded by darkness, the mention of which alone causes weak men to tremble. I had enough power to conquer that sea! Enough manpower! Enough ambition! The only thing I lacked was information! That was my only flaw! I simply did not know enough… which is why I'll steal your travel log and this ship!"

Izuku snorts, "you're an idiot." Izuku ignores the chefs' loud protests.

Don looks down at Izuku, "did you say something, little brat?" he smirks, "I'll be nice enough to let your comment just now slide…"

"It's fine, you don't have to let it slide," Izuku crosses his arms over his chest and smirks, "I was only stating the truth."

Don glares down at Izuku, "This isn't a game."

"Of course," Izuku smiles.

"You planning to fight, Izuku?"

"Need a hand, Nerd?"

Izuku turns his head slightly to the side to see a smirking Katsuki, Neji, and Sasuke, "Oh hey Kacchan, Neji, Sasuke… no it's fine, you can just stay sitting down."

Don laughs "ahahaha! Those are your crewmates? A rather small bunch, aren't they?!"

Izuku smirks, "I don't need them to kick your ass."

"Don't joke with me, Punk! I have 5000 men who are more than willing to follow my orders to kill a kid like you."

Izuku sniffs the air, "5000 men huh? I can only sense about 100," He mumbles out. "It's true I don't need them to kick your ass. You are an idiot, and I am surprised you survived long enough to escape the Grandline. You've got your head so far up your own ass you can't even tell the power difference between us. Blabbing on and on how you are superior to everyone else because somehow you got 5000 other idiots to follow you. It doesn't matter how many people you have; quality outdoes quantity every time." Izuku glares at the man, "Thinking you are so far above everyone else, is a good way to get yourself killed."

"Keep saying that and I'll kill you right here on the spot, once I get back from feeding my crew!" he huffs the bag up, "as for the rest of you… I'll give you an extension. I'm going to go give this food to my subordinates, and then return back here." He smirks, "I'd suggest you leave this place within that time limit if you don't want to die. The only things I require are Zeff's logbook and this ship." He walks out, "If any of you still feel like dying even after I warned you. Then so be it! I'll bury you at the bottom of the sea for eternity!"

The man's subordinate stays kneeling on the floor, "Please forgive me! I had no idea… no idea at all that this would happen…! I…"

"There is no need for you to apologize." Zeff states.

"Huh?" The subordinate blinks confused.

"Sir!" The chefs protest.

"The cooks of this restaurant acted of their own free will, and this is a result of that."

"Sir! How could you side with Sanji on this?! Just what is the meaning of this?!"

"That's right! He's the one to blame for all this!"

"He just wants to destroy this restaurant that is so important to you Sir!"

"Sanji! Were you planning on using this mess we're in to become the next head chef?!"

"Or have you just completely lost it?! Which is it?!"

"SILENCE, YOU NUMBSKULLS!"

A growl echoed in the mostly empty restaurant, "have any of you ever been hungry enough to die? Do any of you know just how terrifying and painful it is, to be stuck stranded deprived of food and water?!"

The chefs blink, "what does that have to do with anything."

Izuku growls, "Sanji and Zeff know that feeling."

"If you've got time to be crying over spilled milk, then just leave this place using the back door!" Zeff commands.

The chefs refuse to leave the ship, hardening their stances and preparing to defend their home. Don's subordinate screeches, "W-what're you all doing?! Haven't you realized just how powerful he is? You need to run away!"

Sanji turns his attention to the man, "Hey, Gin…" The man looks at him, "let me tell you something. It is my duty as a cook to feed anyone who is starving, but the ones who're coming to attack this ship have already been fed. So you better not complain when I kill them." He glares at the man, "Got that?"

The man stares, speechless.

Izuku steps up to the subordinate, "what happened to you, in the Grandline?"

Gin hunches in on himself whimpering pitifully, "What I don't know is the truth… I just can't believe it… I just don't know if those 7 days we spent there were reality or a nightmare… I'm still wrestling with it in my mind… he just appeared all of a sudden…the entire fleet… destroyed by a single man…! While we still had no idea what was going on, our ships sank one by one… a storm whisked us away… I don't even know how many of our ships survived…" He breaks off in a fit of panicked mutters.

Izuku flares his flames around the man, clearly sensing the distress coming off him. Gin slumps over bonelessly and looks to be asleep. Izuku reduces his flames to cover Gin like a safety blanket, he walks over to Zeff. The man has been staring at him for a while now, something curious, and knowing coming from him.

"Redleg Zeff, right?" Izuku asks.

Zeff stares at him intensely, "you wouldn't happen to be the Demon Wolf that attacked Marineford a couple of months ago, would you?"

Izuku nods, "That is one of the names I go by…" He smirks, "but Izuku works just as well."

"What are you doing here, Brat?" Zeff glares, "last I heard you were fleeing to the New World."

Izuku hums and points to Sanji, "we rescued him from Big Mom. I took him home and told him we would be back in a few months. I have people I need to find, and he insisted I brought him here."

Izuku's ears twitch as the starving pirates start to get their strengths back. Don Kreig orders them to attack the Baratie because they will be going back to the grand line. Izuku senses the rising fear coming from the newly recovered pirates, and he feels the moment one of them gets shot, their life flickering out. So Izuku turns back to Zeff, "let's talk after I take care of them."

Zeff nods and lets Izuku do whatever he was gonna do, "Don't destroy my ship, brat!"

Izuku smiles, but it has a feral edge to it, "I won't. But I think he might." He points off into the distance. As if on cue screaming erupts from the other pirate ship. Izuku makes his way to the deck to watch the chaos. He watches as the large galleon is cut in half and starts to sink, the pirates scrambling to get off the sinking coffin. Izuku flashes his green eyes to Zeff, "you might want to raise anchor before you get dragged under."

Zeff nods and commands his crew to raise the anchor. Izuku turns to Sasuke, "tell Shoto to detach the ship. It might get messy. Tell Asui to start looking for survivors in the water. They don't want to fight, but they are scared of Don."

Sasuke nods and jumps onto their ship to relay the orders. Approaching the sinking galleon is a familiar figure, in a familiar coffin-like ship. Izuku smiles, "HAWKY!"

As Hawkeyes gets closer to the Baratie, Zeff explains why this man is so terrifying to his chefs, Izuku ignores them. A brave, or stupid pirate decides to bring the man's attention to himself, "damn it! What did we ever do to you! Why the fuck did you follow us here?!"

Mihawk looks at the pirate unimpressed, "to kill time."

Apparently, this is not what the pirate wanted to hear because he pulls out his pistol and fires at the man. "Bullshit!"

Without getting up Mihawk deflects the bullets. The pirates stare in disbelief, "W-what?! I-it missed?!"

Izuku chuckles, "This is why you failed at the Grandline, not a single one of you can tell the difference in power between you and that guy. The fact that you do not know who that man is, proves you are all idiots."

Mihawk sighs, "you really need to stop calling people idiots, Izuku."

Izuku smiles ferally, "so how about it Hawky? Wanna kill some time?"

Mihawk looks at the teen, "sure, why not." Withdrawing his sword, he points it at Izuku.

Izuku smirks ferally and pulls out his two long feathers. Smirking wider at the laughing disbelief from the pirates around. The clash of the two sends shockwaves out from them. Mihawk and Izuku have massive grins on their faces as they blur through movements. The only evidence of their spar is the sparks of green and yellow flying off their blades. Mihawk hums, "impressive as always."

Izuku laughs, "I have no ambition to be the greatest, so you'll keep the title until Zoro's ready for it, right?"

It seems their spar has come to an end, both swordsmen sheathing their blades with no winner. Both fighters as pristine coming out of the battle as they went into it. Izuku smiles blindingly at the man, "it is always fun to clash blades with you, Hawky."

Mihawk sighs, "you are too much like that infuriating red-haired man I call my friend."

Izuku smirks, "Well he is my dad, when you go back tell Shanks I said hi."

There is almost a pout on the man's face, "what makes you think I'm going back?"

Izuku hums, "there are only two possible reasons for you to be here, you were checking upon us?" Izuku smirks, "or someone interrupted nap time."

Mihawk actually does pout, "Shanks told me to wait for you at the redline…" Then he smirks, "I got distracted on my way there."

One of the pirates close enough to hear their conversation shouts, "you attacked us for interrupting your nap?!"

Mihawk glares at the idiot, "yes."

The pirate makes a sound that is similar to an Eep but doesn't respond. Mihawk turns back to Izuku, "I should get going, looks like you have things handled here."

Izuku nods, "I'll see you soon, Hawky!"

Just as Mihawk turns around to leave, Don Kreig lands on their little sparring platform, "Hawkeyes!"

Mihawk turns his head slightly impatience radiating out of him.

Don Kreig sneers, "did you come all the way out here for my head? The head of the infamous ruler of the East Blue, "Don Kreig"?!"

"I was bored," Mihawk turns to walk away, "but I've enjoyed myself here. And so I'll return to my nap."

"No need to be so curt." Kreig snarls, "you may have had your fun, but I sure haven't!"

Ignoring his crew's pleas to stop taunting the man, Don Kreig unleashes all the weapons in his armor and fires, "how about you die before leaving!?"

With a "Hmph," Mihawk unsheathes his weapon, "you never learn, do you…" he makes a slash sending water everywhere and breaking their foothold. "Farewell."

Izuku knows he can fight and win in seconds, he wouldn't even need to lift a finger to do it. But as he feels the pirates gearing up for their attack on the ship, the cooks' devotion to protecting their ship is overwhelming. Sanji turns to him, "Izuku."

"I know," Izuku smiles, this is something Sanji needs to do. Izuku can't step in, not unless Sanji asks him to. And it seems like Don Kreig is satisfied just watching his crew do all the work. "Protect the Baratie Sanji, I'll only step in if he does."

Sanji nods, "that is acceptable."

So Izuku watches as Sanji takes out hordes of pirates kicking them and sending them into the ocean. A guy with funny armor climbs aboard and starts to attack Sanji. And Izuku thinks, maybe if Sanji wasn't forced to come to Japan with him, he would not have stood much of a chance. But Sanji manages to break through the guy's shield. Izuku was going to step in when Gin held Zeff at gunpoint, the shield guy (pearl, Izuku thinks he heard) forces Sanji to not move, or Zeff dies. Sanji stays still, begs Izuku with tears and determination in his eyes not to interfere. And Izuku respects that but it is hard, even if he knows he can heal Sanji, the amount of pain Sanji is forced to go through is heartbreaking.

When Kreig launches attacks on Sanji's fight, Izuku and Katsuki intercept them. At one point Gin attacks his crewmate and begs Don to let him kill the cook with his own hands. And Izuku watches as the man attacking Sanji radiates more sadness every time, he lands a hit on Sanji. It's clear who the winner will be, because of all the injuries Sanji sustained while fighting Pearl, Sanji is going to lose. Izuku is going to lose Sanji, and he can't sit idly by. So he flares his flames around Sanji and steps between Sanji and Gin one hand holding back Gin's weapon. And he notices Gin is crying, as he falls to his knees. Izuku tunes out most of what Gin says, but he catches the drift, Gin can't kill Sanji because Sanji saved his life. Sanji was the nicest, kindest person to him in his entire life. That while he is loyal to Don, he just can't kill this man.

Don Krieg gets ready to launch a weapon, the pirates still in the ocean panicking about a poisonous gas. Don Krieg commands Gin to throw away his mask, and he does. Tossing his mask into the ocean, Don Kreig smirks and shoots his gas cannon. Izuku takes off his respirator and holds it to Gin's face, while he activates the respirator on Sanji's face. The area is taken over by a purple gas, Izuku uses his wings to disperse the gas.

Izuku walks towards Don Kreig, eyes shadowed by his hair ignoring his boasting about being the strongest. Izuku dodges the incoming spears, he dodges the cannon bombs. As he gets closer Don Kreig covers himself with a spiked shield-like cape. Izuku lets full cowling flood his veins, green lightning sparking off him in waves, charging the air around him. He blurs and punches Don in the face through the man's steel cape. His hands are bleeding, and green fire licks at the wounds.

The man is only down for several seconds before he is getting back up and brandishing a new weapon. A bomb spear by the looks of it. Izuku uses his observation of Haki to dodge the spear's head, the explosions from the impact have little to no effect on Izuku. The audience screams as it appears that Izuku is blown up by the explosions. But a gust of wind blows the smoke away, revealing Izuku with a grin on his face, "Kacchan's explosions hit way harder."

The enraged growl that comes from the man is almost impressive, he attacks more viciously. Izuku catches the spearhead with his hand, ignoring the explosion. He tightens his grip and cracks start to form through the spear. Under the strength of Izuku's fingers, the spear doesn't stand a chance and shatters like glass.

"W-what?! My great spear is…" Don Kreig screeches, "you! What did you do?!"

Izuku grins, "did I do that? Oh sorry… sometimes I don't know my own strength." With a feral smirk, Izuku starts to walk slowly towards the still shocked Don, "with the spear-tip broken, that's nothing but a bomb on a stick!"

Izuku charges straight for the man, hoping to blast him away. Don Kreig produces a flame thrower from within his armor. Izuku grins and lets his flames coat himself to protect him. He cocks his fist back coating his punch in Armament Haki, he impacts the man's armor, shattering the gear on the man's arm. He ignores the man's screeching that his attacks are impossible because clearly, they are not. Clearly, Izuku's strength is greater than Kreig's wootz steel armor. Izuku looks bored since he doesn't even need to use OFA or Armament Haki to break Krieg's armor. With only two punches the man's armor shatters, and Kreig coughs up blood. As he falls into the ocean, he launches a net that ensnares Izuku. Causing the teen to fall into the ocean with the man.

Izuku feels his strength leaving him he is not able to shift while in the net. He doesn't think Don Kreig knows what his net is made of, but it appears to have some sea stone in it. He starts to sink the moment he hits the ocean. There is a splash above him, and someone is swimming toward him. His savior cuts through the net and frees him from his prison.

Katsuki dives into the ocean after his Nerd. He catches up with the nerd and slices through the net with his Haki-coated dagger. He pulls Izuku out of the net and launches them towards the surface of the water. Neji and Sasuke help heave Izuku out of the water and they lay him on deck. Katsuki hovers, he knows his nerd will survive, but still, his habit of looking for the Nerds pulse forces his hand to the Nerd's neck. He finds it and relaxes slightly mesmerized at the small flickering flames covering the nerd's body.

Izuku coughs out the water in his lungs and blinks his eyes open, "Kacchan?"

"Fucking, Nerd," Katsuki growls, but it sounds relieved.

Izuku smiles warmly at the other teen, nothing compares to Kacchan's loyalty. He tries to sit up to study the situation, "is Krieg out for the count."

Sanji approaches, "Gin took him and left with the others."

Izuku pouts, "damn I wanted to talk with Gin. But I suppose if he still wants to be loyal to his captain after the man tried to kill him, there is not much I can do to convince him otherwise."

Sanji nods, "how are you feeling?"

Izuku smiles at the worry from the chef, "my fire has healed the damage. For the 'strongest' guy in the world… I've gotten more injuries sparing with Kacchan than Kreig would ever give to me."

Katsuki smirks, "I'd be ashamed to call you my soulmate if you let someone like that take you out."

Izuku nods, "of course, Kacchan." He chuckles lightly at Katsuki's slightly flushed face and the light tapping of his tail hitting the wooden deck. Izuku turns to Sanji, "So, have you decided?"

Sanji nods but doesn't elaborate yet, "Zeff wanted me to get you when you woke up."

Izuku nods and accepts Katsuki's help in standing up, even if he doesn't need it anymore. He follows Sanji to a private room, away from the other cooks and the main restaurant. When he enters the room, he spots Redleg Zeff going through some papers, he tilts his head to the side, "Hey Zeff, Sanji said you wanted to see me?"

The man looks up from his papers, then gestures to the seat in front of him, "yea, the Little Eggplant told me a little of what happened to him and told me a bit of your situation. I want to know more about it."

"I suppose I can do that," Izuku hums. He starts at the beginning by telling the man everything from eating Fuji's fruit to the forming of his pack. He goes into his training to be the best hero the world has ever seen and his training with Kacchan. He tells the man about soulmates, how each pair have special abilities once the bond is strong enough. His bond is able to share their powers, and also the awakening of his soulmate's Spirit animal. He talks about the dreams he had, about world destruction, and death. He talks about a threat in their world that has already started its downfall. He talks about the first time he came to this world, where he got his bounty. He talked about saving certain people. And he tells him that while they are pirates it's only a cover to save the people they need to save. And if Izuku can save a few more people along the way, well, he is a hero. "I originally came to the Baratie for two reasons."

"What reasons would that be?" Zeff stares.

"Sanji wanted to see you again, he said even if he wants to stay with me, he owes you a goodbye." Izuku smiles softly, "that got me thinking… even if I don't have memories of you being in my world… I would be a fool if I didn't try to get more experienced chefs for my army."

Zeff hums, "I owe you for saving my restaurant, and my Eggplant."

Izuku's eyes sparkle, "So you'll come with us?"

Zeff glares, "There is a reason I am a chef on the East blue. The pirates that come by here are little more than civilian thugs. The Grandline is a different beast… A restaurant at sea would stand no chance against some of the veteran crews."

"You are forgetting something Zeff," Izuku smirks dangerously. "In Paradise, there are not many crews that are strong enough to fight an admiral and survive; let alone fight all three, 100,000 elite marines, kill an admiral, and protect an emperor crew."

"I see," Zeff chuckles, "I suppose you are right eh, Demon Wolf."

Izuku pouts at the name, "I did what I had to do."

Zeff nods, "Alright, say I travel with you, what happens when we get to the New World?"

"Shanks, Whitebeard, and Dragon are going to meet us when we pass Fishman Island. We are still students, so we have a little over three months to get to the New World," Izuku hums.

Zeff's eyes almost bulge out, "Three months to get to the New World?!"

Izuku shrugs, "it'll be tight, but I think we can make it."

"What about supplies, setting up in a place to bring in customers to make money?!" Zeff screeches.

"Don't worry about money, I have plenty to keep us afloat." Izuku smirks knowingly, "I have already found and taken the One Piece. And Shanks appraised the treasure we took from Raftel, he said it is easily over 100,000,000,000 beli. Not to mention we are pirates, any crews, marines, bounty hunters that attack us are fair game."

Zeff sags into his seat, "you thought of everything, didn't cha, Brat?"

Izuku smiles innocently, "I like to plan. Besides it's not like I can use taxpayer money to fund an army no one knows exists."

Zeff laughs, "I suppose you leave me no choice; I've been wanting to go back to Paradise."

Izuku slumps relieved, "That is great!" he perks back up when he remembers what Nami is going through, "I still have one more small issue to take care of here." Something dark and dangerous swims in his eyes. "You should start heading to Polestar Islands. You are a civilian ship so the Marines shouldn't bother you. Take the time to get your ship repaired and all the supplies you will need to last 2 weeks." He goes to stand, "can you come with me to my ship? You're gonna need money if you want to get the Ship repaired."

Zeff nods and follows the teen to his ship, the Ash blond breaks away from Izuku to get the crew ready to set sail. Zeff follows Izuku to the hatch that leads below deck, to a room that has an intricate mark engraved on the door. With a swipe of Izuku's fire-covered hand the door clicks. Izuku opens the door and Zeff sees the evidence of having over 100 billion beli. Izuku pulls a trunk out of the pile, bursting open with Jewels and gold. There must be at least 1 billion beli in that chest. Izuku hums and huffs the chest over his shoulder, carrying it like it weighs nothing. "This should be plenty for everything you need. If not, we will catch up within two days; so open a tab or something." Izuku leads the man out of the room and closes the door behind him. A click sounds from the door, and Zeff didn't even need to look to know that the door is resealed.

Izuku leads him to another door farther down the hallway. He plops the chest down on the side of the door and knocks. It takes a moment for someone to answer, a teen with short dark purple, nearly black hair opens the door, "What can I do for you, Izuku?"

Izuku smiles at the teen, "Hey Kato, I just came by to snag a comms set from you."

"Oh sure not a problem," Kato holds the door open wide to let the two into his shop. Zeff glances around the room, trying to make sense of everything he sees. He has never seen anything like the equipment in here, it looks almost otherworldly. If Izuku said the truth, this sort of proves it; not even Vegapunk's blueprints look this complicated.

Izuku heads to a shelf and grabs a couple of things. He bounces back to Zeff holding a weird sort of device. Izuku chuckles at the man's confused frown, "This is an unhackable communication device, that will allow you to have contact with everyone wearing this."

"Like a transponder snail?" Zeff inquires.

"Not exactly, these communicators use the planet's magnetic frequency to connect to each other. The snails use telepathy. These comms can not be hacked by anything the Marines are capable of using, our conversations will be completely secured all over the Grandline." Izuku explains. "It also has a locator in it that connects to the main hub," he points at a radar-like screen. "This feature is so we can find you if you get into trouble or captured. Not that I believe anything like that would happen, it is just a precaution."

"I see. Thank you, Izuku." Zeff nods.

Izuku hums, "Let me bring you back to your ship." He starts to lead the way, growling slightly when Zeff tries to pick up the treasure chest. When Zeff backs off, Izuku grumbles out something like, you are still recovering. Zeff lets the teen carry the box to the Baratie and sets it in his office. At a final goodbye, and a promise to meet up again at Polestar, Izuku bids the crew farewell. Zeff turns to his chefs and sighs, he has some explaining to do.

After leaving the Baratie, Izuku gathers the crew. "There is one more issue we need to deal with before we head into the Grandline." He looks around at all his packmates, "as you are all aware since we fought Alvida, we have had a stowaway on board. This is Nami, you can all introduce yourselves later." Izuku glares at the more social packmates before they can hound the girl. "For the last eight years, she has been enslaved by a Fishman crew on her home Island. The Fishman Captain gave her a deal of 100 million Beli, and he would leave the island. Every time she has gotten close the money disappears or gets confiscated. She came onto our ship to get the money she needed to buy her Island. I have already agreed to help her, by giving her enough money to buy the island from the Pirates." He hardens his eyes, "I have promised her we would not interfere with the transaction, and if Arlong keeps his word and leaves the Island, she is free to do what she wants." A dangerous look passes his eyes making the pack shudder, "if Arlong goes back on his word, hurts her, or makes her cry again, I. Will. End. Him!" Izuku looks around at his packmates, they all sport similar looks to Izuku. Izuku smiles, "I have already gotten permission from Jimbe to deal with it."

He gives the crew a little bit of time to soak in all the information before he clears his throat, "I have managed to get the Baratie to join us. They are heading to Polestar Islands to get repairs done on their ship, we will meet them there and restock our supplies before we leave for the Grandline. However, keep in mind that the largest Marine Base in East Blue is on that Island. I would like to avoid getting their attention, so stay on the down-low. Those of us that have been here before refrain from using your powers, even if you don't have a bounty. We don't want the Marines to recognize us."

Everyone nods and goes to perform their duties. Izuku follows Nami, and Shoto into the bridge to verify their course. Nami shakes slightly as she turns to Izuku, "if we stay on this course, we will make landfall on Konomi Islands tomorrow morning."

Izuku hums, "I see. Thank you, Nami." He leaves the bridge, vibrating with anxious energy. He convinces Katsuki to spar with him on deck, with no powers, only hand-to-hand sparring. Izuku loves moments like this, they have fought each other so often that he knows Katsuki moves like he knows his own. But fighting like this allows Izuku to clear his mind, all he has to think about is his strategy. He can make his plans to deal with Arlong tomorrow, if the fish tries anything, or tries to go back on his word. After 15 minutes or so, Izuku's anxiousness fades away completely. When Katsuki and Izuku are fighting with their base strength they are completely even. They could fight for days and there wouldn't be a clear winner, both of them would probably pass out from exhaustion at the same time. Izuku knows Katsuki is just as stubborn as he is when it comes to winning a sparring match; they would rather tie than admit defeat.

So their light sparring becomes something like a demonstration for Usopp, Bennet, Kaya, and Nami. Aizawa explains Haki to the others as it is shown in the spar. All of Izuku's and Katsuki's moves are dramatically slow, so the others can watch and learn what Aizawa means by Observation Haki. When Sanji calls them to the dining room for dinner Izuku and Katsuki bow to signal the end of their spar.

In the kitchen, the smell brings back many memories. And Izuku would admit this smell will always remind him of home. The smell of fried pork seasoned just right, the sizzling of the oil still in the pan, and Izuku smiles softly at the feeling of home.

"Thank you, Sanji," Izuku says filled with awe and happiness.

Sanji blushes slightly, "I heard Katsudon was your favorite. I wanted to thank you for saving the Baratie."

Izuku nods and accepts the thanks as he digs into his food. Don't get him wrong Sanji's cooking is amazing, the food's natural flavors are enhanced by the care Sanji puts into all his meals; but Kacchan's Katsudon is the best. Izuku is probably being biased, but he couldn't care less. "It's delicious, Sanji."

Sanji smiles accomplished, "I'm glad you like it."

And dinner proceeds with more subdued chaos that normally accompanies every meal. There are no explosions from Katsuki, no taunting from Ace, Shoto doesn't need to hold Ace back from starting a fight with Kacchan. And while Luffy is pretending to be a walrus loudly with Kirishima, Usopp, Bennet, and Denki, there is none of their normal chaos. Izuku kind of misses it, just like the smell of Katsudon, the chaos reminds him of home.

The sun is just below the horizon when Izuku wakes up, he wiggles out of Katsuki's grip and chuckles at the unhappy rumbling coming from his still sleeping soulmate. He quickly gets dressed and decides he will let Kacchan sleep in for a bit longer. He makes his way to the deck, checking up on the lookouts, tonight was Itachi, Kakashi, and Aizawa. He relieves them with a smile that he will get them for breakfast. When the three nods and retreat below deck to go to their rooms, Izuku makes his way to the bridge.

Nami greets him inside with a grunt, small dark rings around her eyes and Izuku knows she didn't sleep last night. Shoto is asleep on one of the couches, no doubt wanting to be near Nami, in case she wanted to rest. Ace is close by looking like he woke up not to look ago, he checks the radar and makes sure everything is still working properly. Izuku makes his way to Nami's side, "how is our course?"

Fear is tightly wound around Nami's heart, "we should be at the dock in an hour."

Izuku nods, "are you ready for this?"

Nami shakes her head, biting on her lower lip, "you won't interfere, unless I ask you to, right?"

Izuku nods, "I promised you, didn't I? The crew and I will stay in the village just in case something happens. You are afraid the Arlong Pirates will attack your village, we won't start anything if we happen to see any fishmen; but if they attack the villagers, we will be there."

Nami smiles a small sad smile, Izuku sighs and puts a comforting hand on her shoulder. During the last two days of Nami being on the ship, Izuku can tell she is starting to let her guard down around them. She only flinches subtly when he touches her, she doesn't pull away or hit him like she did the first time. Izuku smiles softly at her when she pulls him in for a hug, he runs his fingers through her hair in a comforting way. "Regardless of what happens, by the end of today, you will be free. If you want to join me; that's great. If not, that is fine too. If you don't want to sail with me, because of your sisters, they can come too."

Nami squeezes Izuku, "Thank you, 'Zuku."

Their moment is interrupted by the sound of Sasuke shouting that they are approaching the Island. Izuku holds the hug firmly for a few moments before he lets her go. "Come on, let's buy an Island."

Nami nods and hardens herself, she follows Izuku into the treasury. Izuku pauses, "I'm going to give you the full 100 million. I want you to tell Arlong you will need to go one more time, I want to see what he will do."

Nami nods, thanks Izuku once more. He helps Nami carry the treasure to her house pretending to be a whipped pirate. He doesn't mind the cold act Nami gives him because he knows she doesn't really mean it. As they approach the house, Nami tells him to place the treasure on the ground. She watches him leave with a small smile on her face and tears in her eyes. She works quickly to add this money to the growing stack buried under her mother's tangerine trees.

Nami enters her childhood home and sits at the kitchen table with her head down. Even though she loves her village, she can't help but feel lonely here. She understands why the villagers hate her, and some days she hates herself, because what kind of daughter would willingly work for the Pirates that killed her mother. Even though she is little more than a slave to the Arlong Pirates, forced to be their cartographer, she can't help but feel she deserves their hatred.

The sound of footsteps enter the kitchen, two teenagers appear in the doorway, "What's wrong?" one of the teens asks.

Nami lifts her head up a little, sadness, despair, and a little hope shines in her eyes, "Nothing Nojiko, Yoimiya! I only came to rest, that's all."

Nojiko and Yoimiya sit at the table, "didn't you promise to tell us everything?"

Nami sighs, "I may have gotten us some help, but I can't help but worry about them." She spends the next hour or so catching her sisters up on everything that has happened since her last visit. When Nami sighs, "I need to report to Arlong."

Her sisters nod and bid her farewell, Nami walks slowly to Arlong Park. As she reaches the gates of oppression a little boy runs into her brandishing a dagger and screaming that he will kill Arlong. "If you don't get out of my way, I'll kill you too!"

Nami just looks down at the boy sadly, the boy glares "I'm serious!"

She hits him with her collapsible staff, "Arlong doesn't have time to waste on little brats like you." She clutches her weapon tighter, "…So if you understand, go home." She throws a wad of cash at the boy, "here's a little money." She starts to walk away, "use it for your own protection."

The kid cries defeated, "Dammit!"

Nami ignores the kid on the road and pushes the gates to Arlong Park open. The obnoxious laughter that has haunted her dreams for the past 8 years echoes around her. "Ohh! So you're back, that was a long trip…!"

Nami continues walking towards Arlong, confident, loud steps accentuating each inch closer, "This mansion is as lax as always…"

Arlong laughs, "As if anyone would knowingly dare to raid my estate…!" He sobers up, "how much did you rake in this time?"

"This haul was more profitable than I could have hoped for, but I am still a couple million short." Nami states. "One more haul and I should have enough to fulfill my end of the deal."

"Shahaha!" Arlong laughs, "betraying people is your specialty, isn't it?"

Nami shrugs but doesn't deny the accusation.

Arlong laughs again, "My Fishman brothers, our comrade has returned! Let us prepare a feast!"

The other Fishman cheer loudly. After the feast Nami returns to her village, ignoring the glares she receives. She notices Izuku is healing a man with scars on his face. Nami smiles softly at the memories of the man, even though he caught her stealing multiple times, she never really got in trouble. As she walks through the village, she hears the whispers of the citizens sneer at her back. She smiles softly to herself, it's ok that they hate her. Hopefully, she can give Arlong the money to buy her villagers' freedom. She makes her way to her house, in the back overlooking a cliff is a small cross grave marker. Nami kneels in front of it, "Bellemere…the village will soon be free. I met some really awesome people on my last journey. And they promised to help me, they are a rather odd crew." Nami smiles softly, "even though they are pirates, I think you would have liked them."

Her talks to her mother are interrupted by the sounds of shouting, Nami sighs as she stands to investigate. "Gen…? And the Marines…?!" Nami starts to internally panic.

The Marine holds a hand out in front of Gen to prevent him from moving any closer, "Chichichi… I'm CPT. Nezumi of the Marines' 16th branch." The smirk on his face sends a shiver down Nami's spine, "you must be Nami, the criminal."

Nami adopts a haughty stance deciding to play along, "criminal?" she crosses her arms over her chest, "…well, I guess that is true considering how I am a pirate. But I'll have you know that I'm a crew officer for the Arlong Pirates. I'm sure a Marine Captain such as yourself should be well aware, that Arlong won't sit still if you happened to harm me. So tell me, what do you want from me?"

"Chichichi… I have no idea what you're talking about. You're a pirate…? The information I received mentioned no such thing. Don't worry we're not here to hurt you but… I have received reports of your thievery…" He grins knowingly at Nami's panicked face. "From what I heard; you steal treasure from pirates. Since your victims were pirates, we have no intention of laying serious charges against you. However, a thief is a thief, and a crime is a crime." He looks down at her with a sneer, "do you understand what I am getting at? It's only natural that stolen goods of criminals should be given to the marines so they can be returned to their rightful owners."

Nami gasps, her eyes go blank, "What did you say?!"

"I'm saying that you need to hand over all your stolen goods to us, this instant!" Nezumi smirks as he orders. "Search her house!"

"Yessir!" The Marine grunts sound off as they carry out Nezumi's orders.

"Wait! You can't just enter other people's homes without permission!" Nami shouts, when the Marine ignores her, she takes her bo-staff and whacks him on the side of the head, "I said stop!" She turns on Nezumi, "what is the meaning of this…?! Is this what the marines should be doing?!" She glares at the grunts trying to pass her, "Don't you have something more important to take care of?! The Arlong pirates are going around killing people and destroying villages on this island! You know that don't you?!" She raises her voice, "All the people on this island are slaves under their rule! Yet you ignore that crisis and instead decide to confiscate the stolen goods of one petty thief?! Is that how the government priorities things?!"

"Chichichi…! Criminals shouldn't speak so high-handedly, Little girl!" Nezumi sneers at Nami's rage, "ignore her and continue with the search!"

"Even though the people of this island have been waiting for years for the Marines' help… you pass them by without even so much as a glance and come right for me?!" Nami snarls.

"Captain, these orange fields seem rather suspicious…" A grunt reports.

"Dig up the fields then!" Nezumi orders.

"Don't you dare touch Bellemere's Oranges with your filthy hands!" Nami lashes out again hitting the Marine with her staff. "I'll never hand over my money to the likes of you!"

"That money is for the sake of every resident here in Cocoyashi Village! Do you still believe you have the right to take that money away?!" Gen yells.

"Humm?" Nezumi turns his attention to the man, and smirks, "Is that the way a mere villager should be addressing a Marine Captain…?"

"Gen…?" Nami whispers shocked at Gen's outburst, "how did you… know that…?"

"I knew all along, Nami…!" Gen tips his hat forward. "Back then we couldn't believe what you had done no matter what, so we forced Nojiko and Yoimiya to tell us the truth… Everyone in the village knew all along."

"Huh?!" Nami gasps.

"But we feared that if you knew that we knew, our hopes would pressure you into staying if you ever wanted to run away from it all."

"What," Nami's breath hitches.

"That's why we pretended not to know."

"What on earth is the meaning of this?" Nezumi sneers, "does this mean that all the villagers in this town were abetting a thief so we should arrest all of you?"

"They are saying the government is hopeless," Nojiko shouts arriving at the property.

"We have no chance but to fend for ourselves," Yoimiya shouts as well.

"If you have no intention of saving this village, then get the hell out this instant!" Nojiko puts her hands on her hips, "Arlong might attack your ship if you linger around here too long, you know!"

"Arlong? Attack our ship? I wonder about that… Chichichi…" Nezumi smirks condescendingly.

"What?" Nami startles, while she knew it was always a possibility that Arlong has been betraying her, her hopes that she would be free has blinded her.

"Have you still not found it?!" Nezumi shouts to his marines, he sighs as he crosses his arms over his chest impatiently, "We're not looking for a single grain of rice here! She should have 100 million beli hidden here! It'd be impossible not to find it!"

"What?! How could you know how much there is?!" Gen shouts enraged.

"Hm? Oh, I just had a feeling she'd have that much, Chichichi…" Nezumi lies.

"It can't be…!" Nami furiously denies, "Was this Arlong's idea?!"

"I wouldn't go that far," Nezumi smirks disgustingly, "As workers of the government, we're only doing our natural duty of persecuting thieves…"

"You corrupt bastards!" Gen growls.

"How could marines let themselves be ordered around by a pirate!" Nojiko screams.

Nami fumes 'Arlong!'

"Take them away from here," Nezumi starts to walk away, "they are hindering the search."

The grunts point their guns at Nojiko, Yoimiya, and Gen. "Yessir!"

Nami sprints to attack Nezumi, he pulls out his pistol and aims it at her. Nojiko intercepts just as Nezumi pulls the trigger, "UGH…!" Nojiko screams as the bullet pierces her shoulder.

"NOJIKO!" Nami screams.

In her rage, she ignores Izuku calling out to her, and instead of him following her he approaches the injured girl, "don't worry, I can heal." He gets a nod from Gen and focuses his flames on forcing the bullet out and healing the injury.

'Arlong!'

"Do you really want your town back that much, little girl?"

'Arlong!'

"Fine let's make a deal. If you can pay the sum of 100 million beli in a single payment, then I'll not only free your village but I'll let you go free as well!"

'ARLONG!'

"It doesn't matter how many years it takes; I swear I'll keep my promise!"

"ARLONG!"

Arlong smirks at Nami's angered face, "What's wrong, my talented little cartographer? Your face seems rather angry."

"THE MARINES YOU'VE GOT WORKING FOR YOU," NAMI GROWLS, "JUST CAME TO STEAL MY MONEY!" She reaches Arlong and grabs the Shark's collar to force him to look at her. "WHAT'S THE MEANING OF THIS?! DIDN'T YOU SAY YOU'D RATHER DIE THAN BREAK A PROMISE INVOLVING MONEY!"

"Hm? But I did keep my promise, didn't I? when did I break it?" Arlong questions feigning confusion.

Nami sees red, "DON'T PLAY DUMB WITH ME! YOU ORDERED THOSE MARINES TO STEAL MY MO…"

Arlong cuts her off by holding her mouth and squeezing. "When Exactly," Arlong smirks, "did I ever break our promise? Please, tell me!" Arlong Laughs at Nami's defeated expression because she can't prove it, "SHAHAHAHAHA! The Marines stole your money…?" he smirks dangerously at Nami, "that's quite unfortunate of you. But a promise is a promise. If you can't pay me 100 million beli, I can't just return your village back to you."

"You vile monster…!" Nami cries.

"But you know, it's only 100 million beli." Arlong laughs again, "all you need to do is save up that much again!" Nami snarls while Arlong continues to taunt her, "you're not going to run away, are you? Just keep in mind that if you do… I'll have everyone in Cocoyashi Village killed because of you…"

Nami slaps Arlong's hand away from her face and sprints back to her village, despair, fear, hopelessness, pain warring to be expressed. As she enters her village, her people are armed with pitchforks, and other farming tools, ready to go to war. Izuku and his crew stand between her and the villagers, waiting for Nami to ask him for help. Even though it physically hurts him to stand here and do nothing.

In the village Gen rallies the villagers, "Eight years ago, we swore not to throw our lives away! No matter how painful it may be to live under their rule, we swore that as long as Nami was fine, we would limit ourselves to the fight of endurance! But this is how they answered us! Now that our only chance of liberation has been denied, there is no longer any hope for this island! But we shall never forgive those Fishmen, who dared to toy around with the kindness of that girl!" Gen stares at the hard looks of his villagers, "Any objections?"

"Of Course not! Now let's go!"

"As if we'd accept their rule now that it has come to this!"

"Everyone in the whole village has always been prepared to fight!"

"So let's do this!"

"Wait, everyone!" a voice shouts over the loud voices of the villagers.

"Nami…!"

Nami plasters a fake smile on her face, "please just wait for a little more! I'll try my best again so please!" She fakes a laugh, "I promise I'll raise the money once more! It'll actually be easier this time!"

"Nac-chan…"

"That's enough…!" Gen pulls the girl into a hug. "You know doing such a thing would be futile. You've carried all our hope alone for long enough. You've fought splendidly…! I know that working with them must have been more painful than thousands of searing knives. You fought well." He pushes her to look into her eyes, "you can leave, this village."

"WHAT?!" Nami screeches.

"Nami…" Nojiko breaks through the crowd, "you're cunning and you've got what it takes to survive out there!"

"Besides, you've got a dream to fulfill!" Yoimiya smiles warmly.

"No! Please stop, Everyone!" Nami panics and pulls out her dagger, "I don't want to see them hurt anyone of you again!" Nami huffs, "you'll die, you know!?"

"We know," Gen states as if he stated the sky is blue. He grabs onto Nami's blade forcing a deep cut into his hand.

"It's no use Nami! Our hearts are set!"

"NOW MOVE OUT OF OUR WAY, NAMI!" Gen shouts, "Let's go, everyone! Even if we may not win, let's show them our spirit!" They start to march off towards Arlong park.

Nami slides to he knees in the middle of the road, her dagger clanking as it falls from her hand to the ground. She clutches and scratches at the Arlong Tattoo on her shoulder. She can feel the rage, hopelessness, and defeat filling her body. She reaches for the dagger, she repeatedly stabs herself in the shoulder, mutilating the tattoo, while screaming Arlong's name with hatred.

After 5 stab wounds, Izuku stops her from repeatedly hurting herself more. He looks at her eyes hard and features threatening to shift, "Nami…"

The tears fall from Nami's eyes, "Izuku…"

Izuku holds a hand out to her, with a kind of a smile as he can manage at the moment. He silently tells her to accept his hand, accept his help. But she gets up on her own, she starts to hit him with strong punches to the chest fueled by her rage. "What is it?! You don't even know the first thing about anything!"

Izuku pulls her into a hug and holds her firmly to his chest so she can hear his heartbeat, "nope, I don't know anything."

Nami struggles, "This has nothing to do with you…!" Her punches and struggles get weaker with every protest. Izuku just waits for her to calm down and finally her punches turn to a white-knuckled grip as she holds onto him like a lifeline, "Izuku…" Izuku hums, Nami whispers the next words into his chest, "help me…"

Izuku firms his hold on the weeping woman, a rumbling, protective growl building in his throat, "Of Course, you're pack!" Feeling relief flooding through the distressed girl, Izuku lets her go. Turns around and walks to the remaining members of his crew. He sent the others to prevent the villagers from entering Arlong Park. His features turn slightly feral as he looks at Katsuki, Ace, Luffy, Kirishima, Gaara, and Shoto. "Let's go."

Katsuki and Ace smirk viciously. Shoto nods silently, Luffy and Kirishima harden their features. And Gaara growls. "Roger!"

***In Front of Arlong Park***

The villagers approach Arlong Park, brandishing their weapons until they encounter a group of teens blocking the gate. "Could you please move out of the way? We have a business to settle with those fishmen!"

Neji crosses his arms, "I'm sorry but we can't let you, who stand no chance of winning through!"

"What?!" The villager's rage.

Neji smirks, "We are waiting for the one person that is capable of making this right. I will not allow you to put Nami's sacrifice in jeopardy. Everything she did was to protect you, to free you. Now that the situation has escalated you want to walk to your deaths?!" He activates his Byakugan, "What does the last eight years mean nothing to you?!"

The villager's freeze, the unknown teenager is right. If they die now, everything Nami fought for would have been for nothing. They were too blind and deafened by rage and betrayal to listen to Nami.

A Loud growl rips through the air, parting the crowd of Villagers. Izuku walks steadily, radiating fury and power out in waves. As he reaches the gate, he activates 100 % full cowling. He cocks his fist back and punches the door. Like paper, the door doesn't stand a chance against the might of Izuku's fury. He quickly takes notice of the Fishmen Pirates, all of them laughing and sneering. Izuku's tight control on his Conqueror's Haki snaps, blasting the entire park with dark oppressing waves of a vengeful god. Izuku's wolf features start to become more defined. And if anyone asked the villagers, they would all think they just made a deal with the devil.

"Who's the one," Izuku growls, "Called Arlong?"

The Fishman sitting on a throne of sorts scoffs, "That would be me."

"Is that so?" Izuku glares walking forward and releasing waves of power.

A group of Fishmen blocks his path, "Hey you stop."

"Where do you think you're going?" A Fishman touching his shoulder, "we can't have you go through without talking to us first."

"Hey…"

Izuku unleashes a powerful wave of Conqueror's Haki out of him, "Move it!" Izuku steps over the unconscious bodies of fishmen.

Arlong glares, there shouldn't be a conqueror in the East Blue, "What do you want with me?"

Izuku reaches Arlong and pulls his fist back. He powers 100% OFA and Arms into his fist and punches Arlong in the face, launching the Shark into the far wall of Arlong Park. "That is for making MY navigator cry!" The remaining standing Fishmen all try to attack Izuku at once, he doesn't bother with Haki he just bats them away like mosquitoes with his tails. "I will only say this once, my business is with Arlong. Anyone who interferes will die!"

"As if, you are a puny human! There is no chance you could kill any of us!" A stupid Fishman shouts angrily while charging Izuku with a sword. Izuku dodges the sword and hits the Fishman with a full-powered jab to the windpipe, crushing the fishman's ability to breathe.

"HOW DARE YOU!?" a few more fishmen leap to attack Izuku all at once. "We'll kill you!"

Izuku dodges the sword swipes and attacks with relative ease, he smashes his head into the ground with shattering force. He crushes spines with quick powerful punches, and he tears tendons and ligaments with deadly accuracy. His opponents fall to the ground, some twitching, others lifelessly. He stands there waiting for anyone else to attack him. When no one steps up to the plate, Izuku growls out, Vengeful and protective.

Outside Arlong Park the villages stare in awe and fear, "Hey! Just who exactly is that?!"

"To be able to send Arlong's gigantic body flying with a single punch…! That is not something a normal human can do!"

The pack members get into their fighting stances, "If Izuku can't do anything about these Fishmen, then East Blue has no future!"

Neji glares at the villagers, "If you still wish to interfere with this fight, then you'll have to get through us!"

"For what reason… are you risking your life?" Gen asks.

"They made a packmate cry," Neji snarls. "Is this not the best reason to risk our lives?"

The sound of Arlong's laughter forces the audience to observe what is going on in Arlong Park. Arlong sits on the ground in his crater "So your goal from the very start, was only to get to Nami, is that it…? SHAHAHAHA! Just what do you think a measly human like you can do!?"

"You Idiot!" an octopus Fishman yells, "as if Arlong would fight the likes of you! I'll turn you all into fish food!" He holds his lips like a trumpet, "COME OUT, BEAST!"

"It can't be…" "Could it be?!" "The monster from the Grandline that destroyed Gosa?!"

"COME OUT, MOHMOO!" The octopus shouts as the surface of the water starts to ripple as something big tries to swim out of its depths. A cow like Sea King breaks the surface of the water. The beast looks down at the knocked-out fishmen, and then at the lone human standing in the middle.

Izuku glares at the beast, "Get lost!" The Sea King freezes, nervously whimpering out a "moo…" he turns to swim away not wanting to die today.

"Mohmoo! Wait! Where are you going?!" the octopus Fishman screeches.

"MOHMOO…THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING…" Arlong glares at the beast, Mohmoo stops trying to flee for a moment. "Well, if you are going to run away, I ain't gonna try to stop you but…"

"WELL MOHMOO?" Arlong taunts.

Mohmoo slowly turns back around and faces the human, the human starts to morph into an even bigger predator than the Sea King. The massive wolf, growls with his freedom, powerful, commanding, daring the Sea King to disobey. The Sea King decides he wants to live another day, turns fin, and retreats.

Arlong gasps as a giant wolf stands in the spot of the puny human, "That's…" Arlong cuts off shakily.

The other fishmen screech, "he must be a devil fruit user!"

"What?!"

"Hey, let's get out of here!"

In Izuku's wolf form he unleashes all his feathers and paralyzes the weaker fishmen, he transforms back into his human form. "I didn't come here to fight small fries." Izuku takes a step toward Arlong, "I came here to destroy you!"

"Excellent," Arlong smirks. "I was thinking of killing you myself just now as well."

Three Fishman that are still conscious start to attack Izuku, they move sluggishly and Izuku weaves in and out of their blows forcing their attacks to hit each other. He moves past the octopus Fishman and launches another punch at Arlong's face. Sending him crashing into the wall. "SHAHAHAHA, not bad for a pathetic human." Izuku ignores him as he walks slowly to the still sitting Arlong. "Do you understand just how angry I am…?"

"I don't care," Izuku states.

"The seething rage I feel after seeing you crush my beloved brethren! Do you know what hopeless difference there is between you and me?"

Izuku really can't help himself as he bluntly states the obvious difference in appearance, "Your nose. Your jaw or is it maybe your webbed hands!"

Arlong launches at Izuku, "It's our race!" he tries to take a chunk out of Izuku's side, but with Haki Izuku just tilts his body so the fish passes him. Arlong bites into the wall behind Izuku and takes a chuck out of it, showing off his strong teeth. "This is the power that we Fishman are born with. A power that the heavens did not bestow upon your race. Which is why you are the inferior species! We're on completely different levels from the moment of birth!"

Izuku hums, "It's true… that is not something humans can't achieve." Izuku crackles green lightning around him, "So What?! Don't get cocky just because of that." Izuku smirks ferally, "I don't need to chew through stone, to crush it!"

Arlong charges again, "You humans truly are an idiotic, weak, pathetic race! What can you do! You can't even save yourselves from drowning!"

"I may not be able to do anything, I'm not the greatest swordsman, I can't cook for shit, I know how to navigate, but there are people better at it than I am. I'm not a great liar, and I am pretty sure that I would not have survived this long without my pack!" Izuku states honestly.

"SHAHAHAHA… aren't you quite honest about admitting how worthless you are?" Arlong laughs.

Izuku doesn't find anything about it funny, "duh, if you can't admit your weaknesses, how do you expect to overcome them?"

"Must be quite hard for your crewmates to deal with such an incompetent captain like you." Arlong smirks. "You call yourself a Captain when you don't even have an ounce of self-confidence?! Just what exactly can you do you?!"

Izuku grins ferally, "I can kill you!"

Arlong, getting frustrated starts to attack Izuku randomly and ruthlessly with his teeth, trying to take chunks out of Izuku. Izuku dodges, leaps, punches, and breaks Arlong's teeth, only for them to grow back. The randomness of the attacks makes it a little difficult to fully predict, but Arlong only manages to graze him a couple of times. Izuku flames heal the damage immediately. Arlong gets fed up and dives into the ocean. Izuku stands there glaring at the surface of the water, he knows he can't go into the water since his devil fruit would make him drown.

Arlong bursts out of the ocean spinning like a sharknado, Izuku coats his torso in Armament Haki and lets Arlong crash him into the building. Arlong punches through the wall and pulls out a massive sword that resembles shark teeth. Izuku dodges while breaking through floors he ends up in a room that smells overwhelmingly like blood and ink. "What… is this room?"

"These are all the maps that Nami spent 8 years drawing. For us fishmen, obtaining data about the sea is simple but using that data to draw maps is another matter. Even if you search the whole world, you won't find someone who can draw maps as accurately as these…!" He smirks in pride, not for Nami's accomplishments, but for himself for forcing Nami to draw these maps, "That girl is a genius!"

"Ohh…" Izuku looks around the room taking in the years of trauma and abuse,

Arlong laughs, "There is nothing more tragic than to waste those God-given talents that she possesses!"

"This pen," Izuku starts, "Is encrusted with her blood…"

Arlong puts his sword around Izuku's neck, "For Nami, there is no better happiness than to be staying here and drawing maps! For the sake of my ambition that is. Once we Fishmen learn everything there is to know about the seas from her maps, we shall be invincible! The world shall become my empire!" he glares down at Izuku, "and this island, or east blue, in essence, shall be my stepping stone for that!"

Izuku ignores him, he has heard plenty of villain speeches before, he continues to study the pen, "Hmmm."

Arlong rages, "DO YOU THINK YOU CAN USE HER MORE EFFECTIVELY THAN I?!"

Izuku gently places the pen on the floor. He grips Arlong's tooth-saw with unimaginable strength. Arlong tries to pull his sword out of Izuku's grip, but he finds the blade won't budge. Izuku's eerily glowing eyes flash in his fury as he clutches down on the weapon, "Use?" the blade shatters under the force of Izuku's grip.

"My Kiribachi…!" Arlong gasps.

"Just what exactly," Izuku growls, "Do you think she is…?"

"She's a brilliant cartographer. Of course, she is still a member of your race. But she's got a good head on her shoulders, if I were to liken you, humans, to filthy rats, then she'd be a cheeky little kitty… In any case, she's a cute little thing." Izuku studies the floor, feeling the rage building in him with every word. Arlong continues, "I'll have her continue drawing maps for me in this room. Forever, that is. I'll feed her. And even buy her any clothes she wants! That girl will never be in want for as long as she lives. In return, all she has to do is draw maps for me. Because you see, we're crewmates."

Outside the building, the audience is wondering what is happening. The crashing and breaking of things as stopped for the time being. The yelling has stopped as well. "You think Izuku is ok, right?" Kaminari asks worriedly.

"We've got no way of knowing for sure what is going on up there! But Arlong hasn't started to kill us yet!" One of the villagers tries to be positive.

Suddenly the noises start again and a desk crashes through the wall, scattering paper all over the ground and water below. The villagers gasp in shock at the object crashing out of the wall, relieved to find only a desk. Nami stares at the desk falling and the papers she spent so much time working on falling to the ground.

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?!"

More debris crashes through the wall Nami watches unable to look away as the spectators question why things are flying out of the building. "What's with all these things being thrown out of there?"

"From today on this'll be your room! And over there's your desk and pen! Anything that you might possibly need is all right here!"

The desk shatters upon impact, shattering the memory with it.

"STOP THAT ALREADY!"

Izuku dodges the broken sword, forcing Arlong to cut through his own maps, as Izuku keeps kicking and punching furniture out of the room. "MY MAPS…!"

Shreds of paper float to the ground like snowflakes, and Nami watches with tears in her eyes.

"Don't you ever even think of tricking me, you little brat!"

"How dare you draw fake maps…?!"

"Here's the data for your next task. Turn it all into maps!"

"And don't leave your room until you're finished, you hear?!"

"THOSE MAPS TOOK NAMI 8 YEARS TO DRAW, YOU BASTARD!" Arlong lashes out and Grabs Izuku in a chokehold.

Outside the spectators listen as the crashing continues, the ripping and fluttering of maps as they are destroyed and sent flying. The ends of the maps are on fire, and to Nami's satisfaction, the maps burn and fall to the ground as fine ash. She holds her hand over her mouth to prevent her sobs from escaping, her eyes shedding grateful tears. "What exactly is going on?!" one of the villagers asks.

Neji watches the scene with his Byakugan activated and a small smile on his face. Arlong bites into Izuku's shoulder and neck, aiming his saw-like nose to slice through Izuku jugular when he pulls back.

"YOU WENT TOO DAMN FAR, YOU PATHETIC HUMAN TRASH!"

Izuku growls at the bite and grips Arlong's nose "I don't care about fishmen or how great they are… nor do I know anything about maps or her circumstances… But I finally know how to help her!" He bends Arlong's nose away from him and rips Arlong's teeth out of his neck, his flames working to stop the bleeding. Izuku glares as he is wrapped in green fire, "this room that she never wanted to be in… I can't allow it to exist. He crouches as if he is going to leap out of the building, "I'll erase this place down to the very last trace!"

He sends OFA into his legs and jumps straight up breaking through the roof and cutting the shark-themed flag pole. Izuku uses his wings to angle himself as he starts to gain speed to crash back into the building.

Arlong bends his nose back to its original position "Don't get conceited now…! As if the mighty Arlong Park," He crouches his body to intercept Izuku, "could ever be destroyed by the likes of you inferior scum!"

Izuku growls out as Arlong bites into his side, but he won't be stopped. Izuku tilts his wings in, gaining even more speed, and torpedoes himself and Arlong through the building. The floors are unable to withstand the force of Izuku's crash and start to crumble and break. Izuku pushes Arlong through 4 floors before they finally crash into the ground in a small crater. The building cracks with the impact and starts to crumble around Izuku.

"L-look! After that impact just now, Arlong Park is…!"

"No way!"

"It's all coming down!"

"It's too dangerous! Everyone evacuate immediately!"

As the building continues to crumble around them, Nami starts to run towards the building, "Nami!" one of the villagers yell. Nami brushes them off, "but Izuku is still in there!"

Katsuki blasts his way to the building, hoping to get in there and get Izuku out before the building collapses around him. Despite Katsuki's speed, halfway to the building, the strain and destruction prove to be too much as the building collapses in on itself. "NERD!" Katsuki screams.

It seems like the world loses its sound as everyone waits with bated breaths, "Arlong park…Is destroyed…!"

"Just what the heck happened in there?!"

"Which one of them won?!"

"After that destruction, I can't possibly imagine that…"

"Izuku…"

After a moment of silence, the building starts to rumble again, the audience watch with equal parts hope and fear. Hope that it is Izuku making his way out of the rubble, Fear that it is Arlong. However, coming out of the top of the building is a figure wrapped in green flames, wings ruffled but spread protectively. Izuku breathes heavily, as his flames heal the rest of his damage.

"Izuku!"

"Mido-bro!"

"Nerd!"

Izuku stands with his head bowed, his face shadowed, blood still dripping down his arms to a puddle under his feet. His flames slow the flow of blood, most of his injuries came from the collapsed building and not the fight itself.

"Is he alright…?"

"NAMI!"

The spectators look on confused, the pack smile warmly recognizing the tone Izuku uses. "YOU ARE MINE, GOT IT!?"

Nami's bottom lip trembles as she tries to hold her tears back, she wants to cry, smile, and laugh, "got it!"

The villagers erupt in cheers, "he won!" They hug each other in their freedom and relief. Gen accepts hugs from Nojiko and Yoimiya, "Gen!"

"It feels like I'm dreaming… I'd never imagined that such a day would actually come…" Gen states in awe.

"ARLONG PARK HAS FALLEN!" the villagers cheer loudly.

To ruin the celebrations an arrogant voice calls out, "That's enough celebrating!"

The villagers glare at the Marine who hurt Nami, tightening their grips on their weapons, "it's him…!" Nami snarls.

The Marine smirks smugly, "What a lucky day it is for me today! I'd like to thank you all for showing me a most exhilarating battle. Whether by sheer luck or not, I'd have never guessed that the fishmen would be defeated by a no-name Pirate." He sneers at the group, "But thanks to you, the money that I had to hand over to Arlong, as well as all of the riches of Arlong Park now belongs to me!" His grunts pull their weapons out and point them at the civilians, "So throw down your weapons! I, CPT. Nezumi of the 16th branch of the marines shall hereby take credit for your victory!"

Izuku smirks as his features start to shift, "no-name pirate, huh?" he walks slowly over the rubble, "I don't blame you for not recognizing me" his smirk darkens, "Afterall, I wouldn't expect a mouse to fight a war."

Nezumi glares, "What is the meaning of this!?"

Izuku grins, and a growl rips out of his throat as Fuji makes his appearance. Nezumi stumbles back and lands on his ass, eyes wide and bulging out in fear, "Demon Wolf?!"

"Demon Wolf?" one of the villager's questions.

Another growl rips out of the area, and everyone looks to the source. Next to the "Demon Wolf," stands another massive wolf, the Marine screams in terror, "FENRIR?!"

Shakily one of the grunts whispers, "who are they?"

Nezumi in his fear shouts, "They were responsible for the Marines losing the War against Whitebeard. They prevented Akainu from bringing two major criminals to justice. The Demon Wolf went so far as to kill Akainu to prevent justice!"

The grunts look afraid as the two wolves snarl down at them, "W-what are they doing in the East Blue?!"

Nezumi panics, "go ahead! Lay even one finger on me if you dare! I swear you won't get away with it!"

Nami comes up between the two wolves, stroking her fingers through Izuku's fur causing a pleasing rumbling growl to come from him. She kneels in front of Nezumi, "This is for shooting Nojiko, and defiling Bellemere's orange trees…"

"Huh?"

Nami takes her bo-staff, tightens her grip, and swings it like a bat towards Nezumi's face. He gets flung several feet away with the hit, the grunts scream, "Captain!"

Nami glares at the downed Marine. Nojiko smiles, "Thank Nami! I feel better already!"

Gen growls, "he still needs about 1000 more beatings!"

Nami stalks her victim and when she reaches him, she pulls on his wispy whiskers, "Now go clean up after the Fishmen! Then help rebuild Gosa village! And you are not to touch any of the money left here in Arlong Park! That's this island's money alone! And one more thing!"

"Owwww, Owwww, Owwww! I'll do whatever you say!"

Nami growls, "Give me back my money!"

"I will, I will!" Nezumi cries.

Nezumi flees pathetically shouting threats behind him, "Let me just say you are going to regret angering me! I swear I'll get back at you for this!"

Izuku and Katsuki shift back into their human forms and crowd Nami. The other pack members surround the three. Shoto smirks, "so much for staying on the down-low."

Izuku smirks toothily back, "it's not like the marines would believe Nezumi that we were here. It's just as the Marines said why would we come to the East Blue?"

Gen shakes his head, "to think we'd be saved by pirates…"

"You just never know…" another villager sighs flashing slightly suspicious eyes towards the group.

Gen sighs and tugs on his hat, "Alright, guys! We can't just hog all the good news for ourselves!"

"Let's go tell everyone on the Island…!"

"That Arlong Park is no more!"

While the villagers depart from Arlong Park waving the tattered flag of the Arlong Pirates, Nami disappears to Bellemere's grave. "It's finally done Bellemere! It took over 8 years, but at long last, everyone is free again!"

Nami tilts her head slightly, "Hey, Gen, Nojiko, Yoimiya!"

"Hm?" they hum.

"Do you think that if Bellemere was alive," Nami starts "That she'd stop me from being a Pirate?"

"How could she allow her precious daughter to become a pir…" Gen begins to rage.

"Nope, she wouldn't!" Nojiko sighs.

Yoimiya smirks, "even if she did, would you do as you were told?"

"Nope," Nami sticks out her tongue, "Not at all!"

*** Time skip***

Night fell upon the island once more; the waves were quiet as always. However, the thunderous festivities did not subside this night or the next. For the people had endured for this moment. They had endured everything in order to laugh again.

The first-night Izuku watches the chaos happening as his pack is dragged into the celebrations. Sanji helps prepare food for everyone. Nami sits with her sisters and villagers, and Izuku wonders what Nami is going to decide. As much as it will hurt if she doesn't come with them, he won't force her. He decides to go on a walk, needing to clear his head or look for a spot he can shift into Fuji, so he can pull his pack to cuddle. He can hear someone talking and he slows his pace not wanting to interrupt such a moment.

"Bellemere…"

"Your daughters have grown up to be fine women…"

"It almost feels like I'm seeing you again when I look at them…"

"From now on, all of us will do our best, to live life to the fullest."

"Because our freedom came at the cost of so many lives, we have to live our lives to the fullest for their sake. We have to laugh and smile until our very cheeks hurt…!"

"That's a great outlook," Izuku states.

Gen looks at Izuku with an eyebrow raised, Izuku scratches his neck, "Sorry I didn't mean to bother you, was just looking for a place I could shift in so I could cuddle with my pack." Izuku goes to turn around mumbling, "I don't want to cause panic during the festivities. I know my wolf form is scary."

"Just wait right there!" Gen shouts.

Izuku hums and turns back around, noticing the grave and the tears rolling down Gen's cheeks, Izuku wonders if someone was killed in the battle. "a grave? Did someone die?"

"Yes…" Gen wipes his face, "but it was a long time ago."

"I see," Izuku bows his head in respect, "well they have my deepest condolences."

Gen studies the teen, "Hey, kid. Nami said she will join your crew and become a pirate… it'll be a dangerous journey." Gen glares at the teen, "If you ever do something to steal her smile away, I'll personally hunt you down and kill you!"

Izuku nods eyes hard, "I would never…"

"UNDERSTAND!?" Gen yells enraged.

Izuku smiles dangerously, "of course. I would expect nothing less."

So the night continues with good food, good sake, good music, good dancing. Laughter rings in the air as everyone enjoys their new freedom. Nojiko teases a kid, Nami speaks with the doctor. The pack members mingle telling stories and engaging the crowd in their outlandish tales.

On the day of departure, everyone gathers at the coast to see off the pirates. Nami hasn't arrived yet. "Where is she?"

"Maybe she's not coming?"

"What?! Is Nami really not coming?!"

"What?!" Gen growls, "She's leaving all her money behind?! All 100 million beli?!"

"But she risked her life to save that much…" One of the villagers points out, "She's not taking any of her money with her?"

Nojiko crosses her arms over her chest, "She said it was fine," she smirks, "besides we can always steal more."

"That fool!" Gen snarls, "It's us who should be trying to make things up to her after all she did…!"

"SET SAIL!" Nami shouts from the other end of the village.

"Huh?"

"Nacchan!"

Nami ignores the villages and sprits through the crowd avoiding the arms trying to grab hold of her. While the villagers are distracted Nojiko and Yoimiya climb aboard the ship.

Shoto whispers to Izuku, "what should I do?"

"Don't tell me… she is planning to leave," Gen growls, "without letting us say even a word of thanks or goodbye…?!"

"What…!"

"Raise the sail!" Izuku commands.

"Nami stop!"

"At least let us thank you for all you've done!"

"Ahh! They're taking off!"

"But we need to thank you Pirates t…!"

"SET SAIL!" Izuku commands.

Gen panics as the ship starts to move, "Nami, wait! I can't allow you to leave like this!"

On the deck of Izuku's ship, Sanji leans over the railing, "you sure it's ok to let her leave like this?"

Izuku nods, "It's her goodbye, so let's let her decide."

"Nami!"

"Nacchan!"

Nami ignores them all and jumps after the ship, with a blinding smile she grabs onto Izuku's outstretched hand. And lets herself be pulled on deck.

"Why…!"

"Wha…!?"

Nami smirks as she shakes out her shirt, wallets and money clips fall to the deck of the ship.

"Wha?! My wallet's gone!"

"Mine too!"

"Me too!"

"Same here!"

"Mine as well!"

Nami smirks at the villagers, holding a note of money, "Take care, Everyone!"

"You…" "YOU ROTTEN LITTLE THIEF!"

"You thieving cat!"

"Give it back!"

"Give my wallet back!"

"You little brat!"

"Come back anytime you want, you here!"

"Be sure to stay safe!"

"We have so much to thank you for!"

"Hey, Kid!" Gen shouts grabbing Izuku's attention. "Don't forget our promise!"

Izuku grins and gives the man a thumbs up.

"Goodbye, Everyone!" Nami smiles widely, "I'll be off now!"

Two girls appear on Nami's side, "You sure got them good."

"You sure showed them, little sister."

"Nojiko? Yoimiya?" Nami looks confused, "what are you both doing here?"

Yoimiya is the one who responds, "we spent too much time apart, don't you think?"

Nami smiles widely, "yea!" her lip quivers, "I've missed you both so much!"

Nojiko sighs and taps Yoimiya on the back of the head, "Once again you failed to think things through, now we are stuck here!"

"Huh? Noji? What are you talking about?" Yoimiya dramatically pouts.

Nojiko sighs again, "we didn't even ask for permission to come aboard!"

Yoimiya laughs heartily, "Well I had no idea they were going to set sail right away!"

Izuku and Katsuki stroll toward the three girls, "We are not too far from your Island, yet. We are not gonna force you to stay on board."

Nami grips onto her sisters, "I would like it if they stayed."

Izuku smiles warmly, "Of course, but it is their choice."

Yoimiya laughs, "I want to stay!"

Nojiko sighs, "I can't leave these two alone for ten minutes before they get into trouble." She turns defiant eyes to Izuku, "I'm staying too!"

Nami and Yoimiya turn on their sister, "like you're any better!"

Nojiko smirks, "of course I'm better, I don't get caught!"

"Why you…!" Yoimiya snarls ready to pounce on her sister. Nami holds her back with a smile.

Izuku laughs, "all right then! Welcome aboard."

The three girls smile happily.

"Sanji!" Izuku shouts.

"What do you want, you irritating wolf?" Sanji drawls.

"Prepare a feast!" Izuku smiles widely, "we have to welcome Nojiko and Yoimiya to the pack with a celebration!"

Sanji grumbles pokes out his cigarette and turns to walk into the kitchen. Izuku turns to the three girls, "Let's introduce you to the others." The girls follow Izuku to the wide-open space of the deck. Everyone hearing Izuku's proclamations have gathered on the deck already. Izuku smiles blindingly, "today we welcome three more people to the pack."

Cheers erupt from the gathered teens, Yoimiya hums confused, "why the pack? Shouldn't it be a crew?"

Izuku taps his chin, "well we are not really a pirate crew."

Nojiko looks confused, "what do you mean?"

"Being that there are two wolves on this ship, we have a pack." Izuku hums, "we are on a mission to save certain people." He explains in more detail. "We are actually from another world. My wolf is actually a god, and 900 years ago he was sealed into fruit by an enemy called the Calamity. I told Nami my goal is to end the corruption in the Grandline. The truth is the Celestial Dragons are descendants of the Calamity, their goal is to keep pirates and Marines occupied while they suck the power out of this world. My goal is to save as many people as I can, so I can prevent the same fate to my world."

The three gasps but don't deny the claims, after what they witnessed over the last 8 years, the claims do not seem so farfetched. The Marines let the Arlong Pirates do as they pleased, and the ones that tried to help were killed. "It makes sense that you wouldn't refer to your crew as a crew."

"Exactly," Izuku smiles. "To this world, we can't be anything other than pirates. As you saw earlier the Marines already know some of us. So being marines or regular civilians is impossible. In my world we are Heroes." Izuku hums, "I suppose it's possible to be a revolutionary. However," Izuku smirks, "I think attacking the Marines on two different fronts, is a lot more exciting!"

"I wouldn't want to work under dad, anyways!" Luffy pouts.

"Dad?" Nojiko stutters.

"My dad is the leader of the revolutionaries, Monkey D. Dragon." Luffy smiles innocently.

Yoimiya's eyes widen, "I heard what the revolutionaries did to free Alabaster. If I had a way to leave the island before I would have loved to join the revolutionaries."

"Really?" Luffy perks up.

Yoimiya nods, "a few months ago I read a story about an island that used to exist in the East Blue. The Marines found out two criminals were on the island, so they tried to capture them. But the criminals hid somewhere on the Island, and the Marines tried to smoke them out. When the fires died, they announced their deaths." There is something sad in her voice, "I heard shortly after that Dragon appeared and helped the survivors. While the marines left everyone on that island to die."

"Those criminals were two 5-year-old boys. They were hunted like animals because of who their fathers were." Izuku growls out warningly.

"Oh, I didn't know who they were," Yoimiya looks down in guilt, "I just heard they were sons of the two most wanted men. I didn't think the Marines would do that to children."

Izuku sighs, "It was in the past, and the two boys survived."

Yoimiya's eyes widen in relief, "Really? How do you know?"

Izuku smiles sadly, "Because Shanks saved them, and they became mine. After Shanks rescued them, they were caught in a storm, capsized, and ended up half-drowned on a beach in Japan. I ate a strange fruit where I acquired Fuji, and he gave me the power to heal them. Devil fruits do not exist in my world, but it was with Shanks when he capsized, and the fruit ended up in a different spot where I found it."

Nami gasps, "Red-Haired Shanks?! One of the Yonko? Didn't he go missing …10 years ago?!"

"Yup!" Luffy cheers. "Shanks gave me his hat, before the incident I wanted to be the Pirate King."

"You wanted to conquer the world?" Nojiko questions.

Luffy smiles big and innocently, "I don't want to conquer anything; it's the freest person that becomes the king!"

"I see," Yoimiya chuckles.

"Anyways," Izuku interrupts, "if you are staying with us… there is one requirement."

"That is?" Nojiko narrows her eyes.

"We are heading into so very dangerous times," Izuku begins. "I will never willingly put anyone in a situation that would cost them their lives. But we are heading into a war, people are going to die. I don't want to lose anyone, but no matter how much I want to I can't win a war by myself. I need to know your combat skills and non-combat skills."

"I have not had any formal training, but I use a staff." Nami starts, "I can also predict the weather, I'm a great navigator and cartographer."

Izuku hums, "Ok, do you want training to be able to use your staff correctly?"

Nami chuckles slightly, "it might be good to get actual training since I basically use it like a stick."

Izuku nods, "I'll never force any of you to fight, but I want to make sure that you can at least defend yourself."

Yoimiya perks up, "I am a self-taught Archer. I also make fireworks!"

Izuku hums, "That is awesome, I don't think we have an archer yet. We have a sniper and a slingshotist." Izuku's eyes glaze over as he starts to think and mutter for firework making is an impressive skill, and how happy he is that there is another tinkerer among them. Katsuki bops him on the head before he can start, what the pack has fearfully coined his madman cackle. "Oh sorry," Izuku flushes. "I'll show you to the engineering shop, Kato would be glad to have someone work with him."

"I don't have any formal training, as for what I do professionally, I basically took over Bellemere's orange groves. So I know a little about agriculture and produce." Nojiko sighs.

Izuku nods, "do you want formal training? We have a training room below deck that is open to anyone. All of us know how to fight, though most of us have fighting styles that work with our powers."

"Powers?" Nojiko hums confused, why didn't he just say devil fruits.

"Luffy, Ace, Shinso, Asui, Sabo, and I have devil fruits. Kacchan, Kirishima, Shoto, Kaminari, Ashido, Asui, Kato, Shinso, Tokoyami, Shoji, Eri, Aizawa, and I have quirks. Naruto, Sasuke, Lee, Gaara, TenTen, Rin, Shinso, Neji, Konohamaru, Shikamaru, Kakashi, Utataka, Itachi, Kiba, Choji, Iruka, Fu, and Shinso are Shinobi from the Elemental Nations and use Chakra. Some of us also have Gods in our souls; I have Fuji the God of souls, Kacchan has Fenrir the God of Protection, Naruto has Fujin the God of Wind, Gaara has Shukaku the God of the Desert, Rin has Isobu the God of the Sea, Fu has Chomei the God of the Sky, And Utataka has Saiken the Acid God." Izuku quickly explains.

"Wow!" The three gasp not really knowing how to react.

"Not to mention, all of us know Observation Haki and Armament Haki. There are a few Conqueror's in the pack that would be Kacchan, Luffy, Ace, and me."

"No wonder that marine was so afraid of you!" Yoimiya screeches.

Izuku smirks, "I wouldn't be worth 1 billion beli dead if I was weak."

"A-a billion beli?!" Nojiko stutters. "No wonder why Arlong didn't stand a chance against you."

Izuku glares at nothing in particular, "anyone in my pack would have been able to take out that fish. I just had a personal reason to do it myself." Izuku rubs the back of his neck, "see the day we got here, we intercepted Alvida's crew. When we turned her into the Marines, I sensed an unknown presence on my ship. I found Nami searching through our storage cabins she told me she needed to raise 100 million beli to buy a village. She told me she was going to go into the Grandline on her own. No offense Nami, but you would have died. The East Blue is the weakest sea, you would not have been able to steal from the pirates there. So I offered you a place on my crew."

"I obviously turned it down," Nami states.

"Yes, but she was stuck with us for the time being. So I told her I would pay her to teach my Navigator some tips. I help her get the money she needs to buy her island, she helps Shoto learn more about navigating and ocean currents." Izuku continued. "I showed her my treasury, I have more than enough treasure to help her. But my wolf gives me the ability to see a person's soul, so I told her who I really was. And she told me about Arlong. I personally know Jimbe, and I told him Arlong will be dealt with. Nami wanted to resolve things peacefully, I gave her the money, told her to tell Arlong she was close. I told her if Arlong went back on his word, hurt her, or made her cry, I would bury him." Izuku pauses, "from our first conversation, I already knew I was going to claim her."

"The reason I have a billion beli for my head is that I killed Akainu." Izuku growls, "Ace almost died because of him, and if it wasn't for Fuji, he would have. I will never regret killing someone for the sake of my pack."

"I think we would all do the same if we were capable of doing so." Nojiko states, "I can't tell you how many times I thought about killing Arlong for what he was doing to Nami."

"Thank you, Nojiko." Izuku smiles, "you don't have to decide right now what your roles will be on the ship. Take the day or so to mingle and get to know everyone. Let me know what you decide before we get to reverse mountain. I would like to start your training before we get too far into the Grandline."

"Izuku!" A voice shouts.

"What's up, Sasuke?" Izuku tilts his head curiously.

"There is an Island up ahead," Sasuke informs.

"There is?" Nami perks up and looks over the figurehead, "That Island, is proof that we are close to the Grandline!"

"Polestar Island, right?" Izuku questions.

"On that Island, there is a famous town called "Logue town." It is also known as the town of the beginning and the end. It's the birthplace of the Pirate King Roger… as well as his execution spot." Nami informs. "Shall we go?"

Izuku nods, "we don't know the next time we can get supplies on the Grandline. It would be wise to shop for whatever we need. I also couldn't help but notice that you didn't bring anything with you… so you and the other girls can take a couple of hours and do some shopping. Before we arrive go pick out your rooms, so you know how much space you are working with."

The girls nod and make their way down below deck to the floor with the bedrooms on it. Izuku watches them go with a fond smile on his face before he turns to address the rest of the crew. "In about an hour we are going to dock at polestar island. There are the East Blue Marine Headquarters stationed there, so we won't be staying very long. Shikamaru and Gaara, what do we desperately need?"

Shikamaru hums, "as of this morning, we have enough food and water to last another week. It might be wise to get 2 more weeks' worth of food just in case we cannot resupply anywhere. Kato and Usopp wanted to look around for scrap metal and anything interesting. Zoro has been going through the Sake like a fish goes through water, so we will need to restock."

Izuku nods along, "Alright Gaara will go with Sanji to get food and water. Get as much as you can with 1 million beli."

"Roger, Captain." Gaara nods.

"Someone needs to go with Zoro to get Sake," Izuku chuckles, "If we leave him to wander on his own, he might end up in the Marine Base."

Zoro glares and thumbs his swords grumbling that he doesn't get lost, everything just moves on him. Izuku chuckles but sends Lee with the swordsman.

"Everyone else travels in pairs, stay clear of the Marines. Try not to cause any problems, we are here to restock so get anything you need. Let's plan on being back here at dinner. Before we dock come to the treasury for money." Izuku finishes his discussion.

Everyone leaves the deck to make a mental list of the things they need to buy. Izuku stares out into the ocean towards the island with a concentrated look on his face. There is something, almost whispering to him on the edge of his senses, he can't make out what it is. He shakes his head; he will figure it out when he gets there. He makes his way to the treasury, his thoughts running rampant while he waits for his pack to arrive. Usopp has integrated well with the pack members, Izuku sometimes spies Usopp and Bennet out on the deck playing with Luffy, Konohamaru, and Eri. He sometimes spots them with Kato while Usopp excitedly explains a new idea for his slingshot pellets. Kato listens to Usopp and inputs his own ideas causing Usopp to squeal in delight.

Kaya is still recovering from being poisoned, but she has asked Izuku for books that will help her become a doctor. Izuku gave her all the books Recovery Girl gave him, he even told her that she should learn about the damage quirk use has on the body, since most of the pack members are quirk users. When he goes to the med-bay to check up on her, she is usually talking to Law about medicine.

As the docks get closer Izuku distributes the money, Kaya and Banchina have recovered enough to go with the other ladies on a short shopping trip. Kaya, Banchina, Nojiko, Yoimiya, and Nami are new to the ship, Izuku gave them additional money to get more personal items for their rooms. As the ship docks, Izuku tells everyone to be back in 3 hours. Kakashi, Iruka, and Aizawa stay on board to watch the ship. Sanji and Gaara leave in the direction of the market to get their food. Shikamaru and Lee take Zoro to find a shop that can supply them with enough Sake to last a couple of weeks. Neji, Shinso, and Sasuke travel to the smithing area to look for any interesting weapons.

Izuku stays close to the docks, a look of concentration on his face. The presence he felt before on the edge of his range is stronger here, and he is curious. He takes Katsuki to wander around the area, looking for anything interesting. He wanders into stores, some of them have nothing but overpriced junk that doesn't really serve a purpose. Others have a lot of interesting things in them, and Izuku can spot his fellow tinkerers combing through the place. He passes a few weapon shops; nothing seems to stand out to him. He spots Zoro wandering into a swords shop searching through the barrels of weapons. Izuku feels a rise in curiosity coming from Zoro and a rise in bloodlust coming from one of the swords. The shop owner tries to tell Zoro that the sword is cursed, and he can't in conscience let the man buy the sword. The smirk on Zoro's face is daring as he tosses the sword up and sticks his arm out. The sword's bloodlust spikes as it gets closer the Zoro's skin, but suddenly it flares with respect as the sword spins around his arm and lands hilt deep into the hardwood beneath.

Izuku keeps walking knowing Zoro is not about to lose his arm, and he spots Sanji and Gaara paying for a massive fish. Gaara has a small platform of sand trailing behind him, and Izuku guesses it is carrying fresh produce, meat, fish, and spices.

Nami, Nojiko, Yoimiya, Kaya, Ashido, Asui, and TenTen are shopping for clothes. They have TenTen seal their items as they move on to other stores in the shopping district. Ashido and Nami help the other ladies find fashionable clothing, along with practical training clothes.

Luffy, Kirishima, Ace, Shoto, and Naruto are having an eating contest, well Ace, Luffy, and Naruto are Shoto and Kirishima are watching them with disgusting but fond expressions on their faces. Izuku gets it, Ace and Luffy eat a lot because of their devil fruits, and they don't usually get to eat their fill usually they settle for being content instead of full. Izuku smiles fondly as he walks past their contest venue.

Suddenly the air shifts, the pressure drops, and Izuku can tell a storm is coming. It would be problematic if they were to get caught out in the storm. And there is something not natural about the way the air feels, it makes Fuji restless, and the hair on the back of his neck stands on end. Izuku looks around for anything out of the ordinary, he notices the streets are emptier. Where they were lively before, there is hardly any people strolling around. Izuku perks his ears up listening, from the few people still out he gathers bits and pieces of what is happening.

One group whispers about the Marines setting up something huge. "It's a shame what they are going to do to the nice kid," An elderly man sighs.

"When is it supposed to happen?" An older lady questions.

"This afternoon," The man sighs. "He was such a good kid."

Izuku hums, "What is going on?" Izuku asks as he strolls up to the couple.

"Humm," The elderly man looks at the teen, "a young samurai is going to be executed today."

Izuku tilts his head curiously, "Why?"

The older man shakes his head, "he injured some marine's son because the brat sent his wolf into a restaurant. A little girl tried to protect the customers from the wolf, the wolf attacked the girl, and the Samurai killed the brat's wolf. The Marine's son told him that his daddy was a high-ranking marine, and the girl could be executed. The Samurai agreed to a month in prison with no food or water in exchange for the little girl's safety, if he lived that long he would go free."

"Why is he being executed then?" Izuku growls.

The man shrugs, "the Marine's son is bored."

Izuku's hair shadows his eyes, "Where is the execution platform?"

The man tries to convince Izuku not to go, but caves when Izuku makes eye contact with the man. The elderly man shakily points in the direction of the city square. Izuku nods and heads that way. At the square Izuku can see the Marines forming a perimeter around the edges, civilians stand beneath the execution stand and a teen no older than Izuku kneels on the execution platform with his head bowed. Izuku narrows his senses down to the teen, he doesn't feel regret or remorse coming from the teen, instead, he feels pride and acceptance.

The teen on the platform tilts his head up slightly, he looks directly at Izuku. The teen's eyes are kind, as he flashes a small smile at the crowd below him. The teen knows he is going to die here, and he has accepted it. Izuku has already decided he can not let this teen die, he turns to Katsuki, "Kacchan?"

Katsuki growls slightly, "Nerd."

"There is a storm coming," Izuku begins. "Make sure everyone gets to the ship."

Katsuki nods and leaves to find the wandering members of his crew. He trusts Izuku to handle this, and with this many marines out, Katsuki cannot risk them finding and recognizing Ace and Luffy. So he goes to the restaurant to retrieve them. Luffy pouts that he can't eat anymore but at Katsuki's warning growl Luffy, Ace, Kirishima, Naruto, and Shoto head back to the ship. Nami has informed everyone over the headset that a large storm is coming and for everyone to head back to the ship. The others respond that they are on their way.

Katsuki sighs gratefully that he doesn't have to search for everyone. He goes to check up on the Baratie since that was their original destination before Izuku got sidetracked. Katsuki can't blame Izuku, he heard the story of the Samurai just as Izuku did, and he knows that anyone that would willingly give up their freedom for a child is someone they need to rescue. So Katsuki will leave the rescuing to Izuku, while he makes sure the Baratie is ready to depart as soon as Izuku returns.

*** In the city square***

"FOR THE CRIME OF KILLING MY PET, I SENTENCE YOU KAEDEHARA KAZUHA, TO EXECUTION!"

The teen looks straight ahead, ignoring the annoying Marine's son.

"YOUR EXECUTION SHALL NOW BE CARRIED OUT FOR THE WHOLE PUBLIC TO SEE. AS A REMINDER TO ANYONE THAT DARES TO DEFY ME."

Off to the side, a Marine grunt runs towards his commander, "Smoker!" The commander turns his head slightly acknowledging the grunt. The grunt breathes heavily, "Sir! The target has entered the city square. Shall I give the order to fire?"

Smoker glares at the grunt, "No need to rush things…"

"But if we don't hurry, they'll…"

Smoker glares, "Have I ever let pirates escape from this town before?"

"No, Sir!"

"Then shut up. When I heard the Demon Wolf was in the East Blue… I needed to see for myself. He may be a pirate, but he is not the type to let an innocent person die. Only after Kazuha is freed, will we intercept." Smoker orders. He glares down at the floor, because of the reports that the Demon Wolf has made an appearance in the East Blue, the Marine Head Quarters sent Vice Admiral Doberman to Logue town. The Vice-Admiral will stop at nothing to kill the teen who murdered Akainu. Even if it means letting his son execute innocent civilians for killing his pet to protect a little girl.

Smoker was at Marine Ford, ready to fulfill his duty to prevent Whitebeard's interference in Marco the Pheonix's execution. But suddenly a group of strong teenagers entered the war, and no one seemed to know who they were. Whitebeard didn't know them; Smoker could tell the man's guard was up. And the Marines didn't recognize them. Smoker wasn't sure if the group was pirates or what, but there were multiple devil fruits in that group and at least 3 conquerors. How could a group like that, pirate, marine, civilian go unnoticed by the Marines and the world government? As Smoker observed the group, he noticed something strange. They were fighting to save Marco, that much was clear. But they were not killing Marine soldiers, just disabling them. The leader of the group didn't start to use deadly force until Sengoku pointed out that two of the group were criminals that were long thought dead. Ace, the late Pirate King's son, and Luffy the Revolutionary Dragon's son. Smoker remembers the destruction of Dawn Island, the senseless death of the population for the two boys. And while Smoker was against it, because the boys did nothing wrong, he wasn't high enough rank to do anything about it. To this day it is his only major regret, he is only grateful that somehow the two kids survived.

Smoker realized something that day, as a young grunt that he wanted to change the Marines. It shouldn't matter who is the son of who, if it did Garp should have been executed because he fathered the most wanted man alive. It is only Garp's prestige and Rank that saved him. But in order for Smoker to change the Marines he needed a higher rank, he needed to put aside his morals and ideals until he was high enough in the ranks for it not to matter.

He also noticed that not all Marines were good, he has witnessed Marines enslave islands, turn a blind eye to an island in need because the pirates on that island could pay them more. The report Nezumi sent in said that the Demon Wolf was able to take down Arlong and free Conomi Island. Smoker sent his own marines to do an investigation on the island. And what he heard was a travesty, for eight years Arlong has taken that island hostage. For eight years Nezumi has been keeping other Marines from getting to the Island. For Eight Fucking Years, Nezumi has kept silent about the pirate activity on the island so he could make money. The civilians couldn't afford to buy protection from Nezumi since Arlong was charging them to live.

Then the Demon Wolf showed up at Conomi Island, offered his help expecting nothing in return, and took down Arlong and Nezumi. The Demon Wolf did more for that Island in one day than the Marines did in eight years. The Demon Wolf even left a note for Smoker to give the bounty for Arlong to the Island to kickstart their economy. The world government wanted to give Smoker the credit for the liberation of the Island, they wanted to paint the Marines in a better light. But Smoker refused, he didn't do anything to liberate the island. The world Government didn't want the truth of what Nezumi did to come out to the public. Smoker had no choice but to accept, if he didn't, they were going to order a buster call on the island. They want to prevent the truth from coming out at any cost.

Movement in the crowd draws Smoker's attention, a flash of green catches his eye. The Demon Wolf slowly makes his way to the execution stand. His steps are sure, confident, his expression gives nothing away except for the spark of determination to save. He stops at the front of the crowd and watches.

"Any last words? Might as well make the most out of this large crowd." Pinscher sneers.

Kazuha doesn't move or say anything, he only continues to smile softly at the crowd beneath him.

"Well, whatever. Whether you have any last words or not, it ain't like anybody will care for what you have to s…" Pinscher scoffs.

"Go to hell," Kazuha states.

Pinscher raises his sword above his head ready to chop off Kazuha's head. Smoker wonders what the Demon Wolf is waiting for. When the blade is just barely away from Kazuha's neck a strong force erupts out of the crowd. Smoker watches as none of the civilians are affected by the burst of power, but the Marines in the crowd start to collapse one by one. The Marines on the outer edge of the crowd trying to prevent the Demon Wolf from escaping fall over unconscious. Pinscher glares down at the crowd and freezes as the Demon Wolf smirks up at him.

"Who the hell are you?!" Pinscher screeches.

The Demon Wolf steps closer and starts to glow an electric green. In a powerful leap, he lands on top of the platform, back towards the crowd. The teen pulls two long feathers out of his wings and holds them like swords. With two quick slashes the cuffs on Kazuha break and fall to the ground with a deafening clang. The Demon Wolf smiles softly at Kazuha and offers his hand. The teen accepts the hand given to him, and before anyone can react two things happen. The Demon wolf erupts into green fire, covering Kazuha in a layer of familiar flames, and the sky breaks open with a loud clack of lightning. The lightning strikes the execution platform igniting the wooden beams.

The civilians retreat slightly as the platform starts to fall. The flames extinguish unable to keep burning under the force of the Demon Wolf's will. Both teens are unscathed as The Demon starts to transform. Marines start to shakily regain consciousness at the Demon's growl. Smoker is unsure if it is a sense of duty or stupidity that forces the Marines to try and subdue the wolf. Smoker decides to place himself between the wolf and the grunts, smoke billowing out of him to prevent the Demon Wolf from escaping or injuring his grunts.

The Demon Wolf doesn't react to their threats, he just bows his head to let Kazuha on and spreads his wings. He crackles with electricity and beats his wing down powerfully. The force of the downdraft sends the Marines back several feet. Smoker's smoke dissipates and he reforms. The wolf takes to the air towards the western harbor. Smoker looks to the sky the winds are blowing westward, meaning if they leave the island, they will catch the tailwind and the Marines wouldn't be able to catch them.

"It's as if the heavens themselves want them to escape," Smoke observes to himself.

"Forgive us, sir! Because of that sudden gust, The Demon Wolf managed to escape…" A grunt panics.

"Prepare our ship. We are going to pursue the Demon Wolf." Smoker orders. "They are headed into the Grandline. I shall head there as well!"

"But Sir! This town is under your jurisdiction…! What will the higher-ups say if they hear you aba…" A grunt begins to scold.

"You can tell them this," Smoker glares, "Don't order me around!"
