(-Fortress Of Solitude Ten Minutes Later-)

A lot can quickly transpire for someone in just a short amount of time. Perhaps it all depends on an individual's mind. Either way, it didn't matter to the childhood friend of Superman as he easily shakes those thoughts from his head as he continues observing the ongoing conflicts in both Gotham and Metropolis on one of the many Kryptonian blue crystals that make up this entire fortress.

As a doctor, Derek Gray should feel deep concern for what is transpiring in those two cities. For the lives that are about to be destroyed by the hands of his Kryptonian friend and his regime forces, whether they are innocent or not. It's a feeling that all doctors should accommodate when life and death are hanging in the balance. And in retrospect, yes, all doctors have and they should discern this feeling every time with all patients they're assigned to.

But not to Derek. Why? The answer to that is when his eyes shift down to an object in his hand, a small green orb with symbols, that are unknown to all except its owner. For some unknown reason, it's because of this mysterious green orb, Derek doesn't feel the way that normal doctors do at all.

Even from the day he was born, He considered it as an irregular, unnecessary sentiment for him to have when it comes to his absolute verity. And he applies that verity to all whether they believe it or not, it will be deemed as their true salvation from their qualms, and soon they may try again in their rebirth.

"Of course, that is if they survive this or not," Derek normally states.

But that aside, Derek's thoughts then turn to another matter as he sets the green orb in his pocket in favor of his ringing phone. And it was a number he was already anticipating. Seeing who is calling him, Derek answers without hesitation. "Well?"

"Sir, your private conveyance is fully prepped for immediate evacuation. We await your arrival," A voice of a regime soldier stately informs the regime's head doctor. But if you listen closely, the voice of the soldier sounded almost like it is disturbingly imperturbable.

Though despite that, Derek didn't seem bothered by that at all and simply acknowledges it. "Understood. I am on my way now," He notifies the soldier on his phone before he hangs it up.

With no other reason to stay here, Derek soon makes his departure from the fortress. But not before he takes one last glimpse at two of the crystals that show the cities of both Metropolis and Gotham and then he glances at a close-up screen of Superman in Metropolis.

"Clark…" Derek begins to say to his Kryptonian friend. "Through your years of maintaining the stability of Earth, the people once considered you their proponent champion," his voice remains calm but has a solemn mixed into it as he continues. "But now you have become the world's ruling God, an alpha who expects nothing of the mortals but absolute compliance and submission to his dominance,"

And despite his friend's overwhelming efforts to maintain his hold on the world, Derek always knew and expected someday, an unforeseen upshot will arise from the outcome to confront him. "But the unfortunate truth is that even if you are the dominant alpha, There will always be another to challenge you," Especially a young one that will make his presence known to the world.

Just like how Aaron, this young Gardian had done. But for some unexplained reason, Derek had long found out about the boy's survival and already knew where he was and what his next move will be. Despite this supposed 'unexpected' development, Derek thought it was best to not notify Superman or anyone of this.

Why would he do that? Perhaps it was out of curiosity, to see if this new Alpha has the strong audacity to truly take down the old. Or maybe it was now that time again for an era to now cease and for something new, something different to take its place. Either way, the path has been set in motion.

"Only one Alpha can remain…" Derek simply excerpts out before he turns his back on the screen to make his exit from the Fortress Of Solitude.

(Entering Sam Hulick: Mass Effect 3: Battle For Earth)

The conflict that transpires within the new City Of Tomorrow continually escalates with everlasting destruction and chaos made by the Regime soldiers that continue their relentless march down the streets.

They continue to attack everyone and everything that came within their vision of sight. They shot up numerous buildings with their armored Vehicles until they were left no longer standing before moving to the next.

They attack and drag people, whether they resisted or not, out into the streets where there they would be mercilessly beaten with an inch of their lives. They exempted no one. And it was all in the name of their Kryptonian leader, who authorized them to do so.

Boom

Boom

Boom

Boom

And speaking of said leaders, Superman is seen flying at bullet speed through several buildings which virtually results in them tipping over into other buildings like stacks of dominos knocked over. Thankfully, everyone was not in the collapsing buildings but it didn't matter at all to the rogue Kryptonian as he immediately flies away to the outer parts of the city, disregarding the destruction that his Regime forces continue to lay waste upon.

Once reaching the outskirts, Superman uses his telescopic vision and spots numerous innocent civilians about to attempt to escape Metropolis through the remaining bridges.

Seeing their desperate endeavor to escape him as futile makes Superman glower before his eyes begin to heat up in crimson shades. With great speed, Superman flies past one of the bridges and with a precessional aim, fires a powerful heat vision blast that cuts the bridge in half. And in the next minute or two, Superman repeats this maneuver with all the remaining bridges, completely and effectively hindering the now-startled people from escaping the destruction behind them.

Superman is left sadistically pleased by the results until he grimaces at a call from his comm before he answers it. "Yes?"

"High Councilor," A Regime Sergeant from the assault answers. "We just received word that Aquaman and his Atlantean army have just arrived in the Metropolis Waterfronts,"

"What about Wonder Woman?" Superman questions, demanding to know the whereabouts of his second-in-command/lover and her army as he expected her to be at the waterfront docks as well.

"They'll shortly arrive at the harbor within two minutes, sir," The Regime Sergeant quickly informs his leader. "Should we continue to postpone our assault until they arrive, sir?"

"No," the impatient Kryptonian replies as he slowly ascends to the air. Too much time has already been wasted enough for there to be any setbacks. "Commence the second assault. And don't leave anyone standing,"

"Yes, sir!"

And with the call ended, Superman resumes his current objective of destroying the city.

Despite the small delay in Wonder Woman's arrival time point, nothing wasn't going to stand in the Kryptonian's way in forcing his dominance on the people of Metropolis and Gotham which will serve as a message to everyone in the world watching this will think twice in defying him again.

(-Gotham City-)

Though as the destruction of Metropolis further escalates, the destruction in Gotham City appears to be in a near stalemate. The soldiers of the Regime have returned to the city in maximum force to forcefully reestablish their hold on the city. And by maximum force, it means bringing in the Regime's entire heavy hitters as well to aid in the effort. With these advantages, it would've been a guaranteed win for the forces of the Regime.

But only for them to be met their match with a heavy combined might of rescued Lexcorp soldiers, Harley's Joker clan, Defiances of Mortals, and even Gotham civilian population combated them with equal force. Not to mention, members of the Insurgents have arrived to help keep the Regime's heavy hitters off their backs as they continue to combat the regime grunts.

Boom

Speaking of them, both fighting sides weren't concerned about any interference as a loud explosion which is soon followed by an arising smoke afterward is felt and heard from another part of the city that wasn't far from them.

What came next is a certain dark grayed colored-armored technopath came bursting out of the smoky area before he manages to adjust his firing thrusters to quickly halt his momentum in mid-air.

Eric quickly straightens himself before he sees two familiar yellow-outfitted individuals heading straight for him with both power rings, aimed directly at him ready to fire. This prompts the armored genius to retort with an evasive maneuver tactic, trying to avoid the numerous energy blasts being fired at him as he flies away which also prompts his pursuers to continue to give chase.

Meanwhile, on the ground, Killer Frost and Grundy continue their fight against a small gang of the Joker clan. Grundy lets out a primal roar before he makes a strong dash, swiping any Joker clan member that gets in his way while Killer Frost freezes the evaded ones in place with her ice beams. They would've continued their duo assault if not for the Flash, who is a fast-moving red blur come, knocking the ice queen to the ground before moving on to encircle the hulking zombie, halting his charge as he brings his arms up to guard himself against the numerous rapid punches he's receiving from every direction.

From another nearby area spot, a gleeful Harley Quinn continues to widely swing her massive mallet at each incoming Regime Soldier that tried to surround her which effectively knocks them aside with great ease due to the super-pill she took moments ago. But only for The current expression of the blonde woman to slightly shift when her weapon of choice was shot out of her by an energy blast fired by Cyborg's arm cannon before he attempts a tackle toward the woman.

Above them, Robin can be seen as he lands on top of one of the buildings to avoid numerous birdaranges flung at him by Nightwing who also jumps down with both escrima sticks in hand. Seeing his attack, Robin quickly blocks his older stepbrother's attack with his collapsible staff before the two sons of Batman engage in close combat once again.

Boom

But their battle is abruptly halted when a strong bolt of lightning strikes down behind them. And they turn to see it was Black Adam, hovering in the air as he grips Martian Manhunter by the throat. The Kahndaq king readies to knock the Martian aside, but J'onn quickly uses his density-shift ability to slip out of Adam's grip before becoming tangible enough for him to counterpunch his Kahndaq opponent in the face. Not long, Martian Manhunter's entire body morphs into a green humanoid-skinned serpent with four arms before he flies toward Black Adam at full force. Seeing this, Adam braces himself for impact as he is being pushed upward to the sky.

(-With Batman-)

Even though the definitive conflict looks to be evenly matched, it can't be said for the entire city if it further continues to prolong far beyond the extent. At least that is what one of the arriving occupants in the bat-themed aircraft mentally suggests to himself as he persists with great haste to fly back to Gotham to assist his allies.

"It's getting worse out there," Betty nervously expresses as she continues to view the conflict in action.

Batman silently agrees. "And it'll only get much worse if Aaron doesn't arrive in time," he replies.

During their unstopping traverse to Gotham, they received contact from Themyscira. Where there, Aaron quickly informs them of his victory against Wonder Woman and helps reestablish Hippolyta as the Queen of the Amazons. And as he did, they both went their separate ways as the Amazons set sail to assist in Metropolis while the young Gardian assured them that he will arrive in Gotham with the help from Ares in no time.

"He'll be here," the brown-haired woman responds with no doubt in her voice. She knows that there is no way her son would ever think of any second thinking.

Batman of course agrees with Betty's asserted claim concerning their major ally. "In the meantime, we'll need to focus on subduing the remaining enemies,"

As he says this, both Batman and Betty see Eric, who managed to shake off the pursuing lanterns for a second, fly into their side view to addressing them. "Oh, hey guys. Glad you all could join the party!" the armored technopath genius tries to casually greets them.

"You anticipated our exact arrival time, didn't you?" Batman surmised by Eric's sudden appearance.

The said Technopath didn't even hide his intention. "You know I did!" he says before he gets serious. "And When I give the alert, don't look back,"

"Why?" Betty questions.

"You'll see,"

Beep

Right on cue, his armored R.I.G's sensors quickly alert him of incoming danger. "Go!" he quickly calls out before he maneuvers himself away from them.

Immediately acknowledging his insurgent ally's warning, Batman skillfully steers the Batplane around just in time to avoid a yellow energy blast from two of his pursuing Lanterns.

With him above the city, and with Batman's foreseen return, Eric can now set his improvised plan in motion. With a quick u-turn, The armored genius performs a fast loop while both of his repulsor palms light up. Seeing his motion, Batman commences his Batplane to accelerate to head further away from both Yellow Lantern and Sinestro. Of course, the two yellow lanterns immediately turn to face the armored Genius, But only for them to encounter numerous tiny shining orbs in front of them.

Bang

Bang

Bang

Both Lanterns grunt in surprise as the orbs suddenly flash out a strong light that blinds them, greatly distorting their sense of vision. Inside his narrow vision slits helmet, Eric proudly smirks at one of his inventions, which he dubbed 'flash spheres' before he turns to his two stunned opponents. With his auto-aiming locked on, Eric immediately unleashes several small missiles from his mounted shoulder launchers that make a direct path toward both Regime opponents.

Boom

Boom

Boom

Boom

For each missile that makes a direct hit, it wouldn't take long for one of them to knock both Hal and Sinestro out of the sky, temporarily taking them out of the fight before the young genius quickly makes his back to the others.

Beep

Beep

Beep

But only for him to stop for a second as one of his sensors detects an enormous energy signature. One that he can recognize easily from before.

"Well, it's about time he showed up,"

(-With the protesters and Insurgents-)

Despite the best effort to resist their oppressors, it would only delay the inedible of them being overwhelmed by numerous well-trained and armed regime soldiers. But they still held on to their newfound courage in continuing the fight with vast efforts.

As well as should be for even the Insurgents as well.

Black Adam continues to blast Martian Manhunter with strong blasts of lighting which forces the grunting Martian to kneel over on the ground from the excruciating pain. And the pain would've been much worse had it not been for Flash's sudden dash attack from the side before he returns to repeat the same action from behind. But unexpectedly, his passage is to be met with an icy road blasted by killer Frost that causes the speedster to slip and slide over, crashing into a nearby parked vehicle, and it wouldn't take long for the Ice queen to ice blast the speedster, freezing him in place to immobilize all movements.

Robin follows when Nightwing harshly kicks the boy to the ground. And soon after, Harley would soon be next when Cyborg directly hits her with an energy blast. Still Reeling from an earlier attack from Black Adam, Martian Manhunter attempts to stand up but only to be harshly stomped back to the ground by Grundy with tremendous force that cracks the concrete ground beneath the Martian.

They may have been able to prolong the battle to this extent, but it seems they reached their limits as well.

And this now gives the floating Black Adam the chance to put his next attack in motion. "Your insurgency ends here," the Kahndaq king candidly declares as he begins channeling his magic lightning around his body.

The down insurgents couldn't do anything but watch as Black Adam continues to power up his attack to the utmost, readying to take them all out at once. It looks about to be ready to be the end of the insurgents and with them gone, no one will be able to resist the regime's power ever again.

Boom

Everyone is taken aback by the abrupt but loud noise of something heading their way and it is coming fast. Black Adam is the only one to spot the source of the disruption above for a second before being directly hit by what looks to be a fast-moving green blur, blowing the kahndaq king to the ground, causing huge dust to envelope the area.

(Ending Sam Hulick: Mass Effect 3 OST: Battle For Earth)

(Entering Daisuke Yano: Godzilla Final War Mix OST: Godzilla vs KumongaKamacuras/ Undersea Battleship)

Soon enough, the ongoing conflict between the insurgent and the regime temporarily ceases. Every single person is left stunned as they kept their eyes glued onto the spot where the unexpected arrival of the anomaly left the god-powered mortal embedded in a small crater.

Is this another attack? But from whom? None of them had an immediate answer to those questions. Too wrapped in their thoughts on the matter, they didn't even notice the dust of smoke from the crater soon slowly begins to dissipate. It slowly reveals itself from the crater and it brings great scare, surprise, and sheer relief to both fighting sides.

For who could this be would be none other than the prospect warrior himself and the new king to the people of the earth, Aaron Grant has arrived.

Aaron's whole body continues radiating green energy, giving him an ominous appearance as the Gardian continues to slowly stride toward the stunned observers. But what makes Aaron's presence even more alarming is his Omni blade in his hand outstretched, correspondingly emitting the same energy which gives it a bright green hue aura.

Right around this time, Batman, Betty, and Eric manage to fly in time as well to see the new arrival of Aaron. "He made it…" Betty sighs in relief.

"Yeah, he pulled a little close there too," Eric replies in a remark as he and the others witness a new confrontation about to occur.

"We have to help him," Betty tells the others the armored tech genius immediately agrees and prepares to assist the Gardian.

"Wait!" Batman suddenly injects the notions, greatly shocking both his female passenger and armored ally.

"Wait?!" Betty incredulously asks.

Batman nods to her before he turns to Aaron. "Let's see what he can do,"

Making quick peeks at his friends and allies from above and in front of him, Aaron is relieved in knowing that he managed to arrive just in the nick of time before it could've gotten worse for all of them. Soon enough, his current expression changes to a more sheer determined one when he focuses on the ones responsible for the chaos that transpires here in Gotham.

"You guys have caused enough problems here but that's gonna end right now," the young Gardian king begins to call out as he determinedly glares at all the members of the regime, who all soon began to surround him with their respective abilities locked onto him. "So if I were you, I'd give up right now. And believe me, the last thing you guys wanna do is say no,"

Despite hearing Aaron's threat, it didn't stop the snarling Solomon Grundy from being the first to react. "Grundy smash green man!" he roars out before he readies to charge at the young Gardian at full force.

Swoosh

But only to stagger back when Aaron makes a surprising dash right toward the humanoid zombie, thrusting his green-energized Omni-blade right through his center chest. Gripping the handle of his sword, Aaron unhesitantly makes a strong swing, slicing Grundy upward until his upper body is lacerate in half, effectively killing Grundy once again.

The display of Aaron's sudden action left the other members of the regime completely startled. So much so that Aaron took advantage of it with his next regime target, namely Nightwing. Without any warning of his movement, Aaron throws a green energized backhand right at Damian's surprised face.

Crack

The strong punch strikes the second Nightwing to crash into the ground hard, knocking him out in the process while his lower jaw looks a bit dislocated.

Turning to his next opponent, Aaron evades an ice blast made by a desperate Killer Frost before she shoots out multiple sharp-tipped icicles from her fingertips at him. But Aaron utilizes his Omni-blade to block the incoming icy projectiles before he makes a decisive lunge at the ice woman. Seeing his surprise frontal approach, Killer Frost tries to ice-blast him, but only to fail when Aaron seizes the back of her head and slams her face down hard to the ground, knocking her out with a now bleeding broken nose.

Hearing movement from the side, Aaron easily sidesteps an incoming mechanical fist. With quick improv, Cyborg's other arm morphs into a blade before attacking Aaron with it, stimulating the young Gardian king to similarly swing his green-energized sword. When both weapons collide, Cyborg is in for a painful surprise again when his opponent's sword easily cuts right through his own. And just as Cyborg could realize next, Aaron makes quick work of slashing off his other arm, leaving him armless before going for his legs, immolating all movement as he falls to the ground.

In only about a minute, Aaron just took down one of the regime's top enforcers simultaneously without putting in any hard effort whatsoever. That kind of exposition just shows how far Aaron's strength has gone toward the moment he first made himself known to the world.

"Whoa…Remind me to never get on his bad side again," Flash openly expresses as he and the other insurgents continue to see the fight before them.

"Yeah…" Eric comes to knowingly say as he slowly descends to the ground to help the speedster up. "Just be glad he sees you as a friend now,"

"Yeah, you could say that again,"

The armored genius nods before he and Flash go help the others up.

Whoosh

But suddenly, the fight wasn't over yet when Black Adam burst out of the crater and headed straight toward Aaron at high speed. And thanks to his senses, Aaron manages to bring his Omni-blade up to block Adam's backhand swing before he quickly counters by punching him back.

Aaron growls in irritation as he thought the surprised attack from earlier should've kept Black Adam knocked out for an hour or two at best. Guess he didn't put much of his energy into his attack as he thought. "I don't have time to deal with you, Adam," he proclaims as he channels more green energy to himself and his Osmosian sword. "So I'll make quick work of you before I head over to Metropolis,"

The King of Kahndaq scowls. "Such arrogance will be the death of you, boy," he says as lightning begins bouncing around him. "Much as this insurgence will end by my hands,"

"Is that right?" Aaron challenges as he points his silver sword at Adam.

With that, both the green-energized Aaron and electrified Black Adam charge toward one another at high bursts of speed with both The young Gardian King raising his bright energized Omni-blade, and the old Kahndaq King ready to raise his arms to catch the incoming blade.

Boom

A small shockwave is the result of the clash between two enhanced beings. Adam strongly grips Aaron's wrist that wields his Omni-blade, stopping the Gardian's attack while Aaron simultaneously grabs the Kahndaqian's hand that strongly grips his throat.

Before long, both enhanced beings try to overpower one another in terms of super strength which results in the ground beneath them cracking from the buildup of pressure. For the next few seconds of the power struggle, Black Adam tightens his hold on Aaron's throat before he dispatches a strong current of lightning at him. Aaron screams out from the intense pain from the shock it forces him to drop his sword.

"Your weak, boy, despite your power. And now you will suffer the consequences of your insolent defiances against our order," Black Adam arrogantly affronts the Gardian as he continues to apply more power to his attack. But then the mortal champion's pretentious expression turns to surprise when he hears his young opponent's agonize scream slowly turn to an irate snarl as his emanating green energy sharpens out, increasing his endurance to withstand the electrical attack.

Heavily glaring at the surprised Kahndaq king, Aaron utilizes his furthered-enhanced strength to push back as he grips Adam's wrist, pulling it away from his throat. "If I'm the weak one, then explain to me how this is happening," He angrily mocks before he as he pulls his opposite arm which emanates additional green energy. "And your order can go to hell!"

And without hesitation, he propels his fully energized fist right into his opponent's face.

Crack

Aaron's punch send Black Adam head-first to the ground with unyielding force, embedding him deeply enough for him to be unable to move. And with that, Aaron instantly proceeds to hold Adam down by standing over him with his foot on his chest and pointing his now retrieved Omni-blade at Adam's face. "What's the matter, Adam? Too weak to call down your thunder?" he lets out a sneer. "Heh, So much for a man who has the powers of a god. Your nothing but all talk and no action!" The young Gardian king affronts mockingly.

The sheer insults and ironic remarks made by Aaron seem to have infuriate Adam to no end. No one talks down on him like that, ever. And he won't allow some over-pompous child to mock him even further. So he'll gladly grant the boy's desire for his thunder.

"SHAZAM!"

The words spoken causes everyone to panic when they hear roars of lightning above them and immediately knew what's gonna come next.

KRRAACK

And what soon came is an influential bolt of lightning come striking right down at Aaron, who seem to be unintimidated by the incoming bolt of the magical godly bolt. Instead, all he did is just lift his Osmosian sword into the air.

Boom

The massive lightning makes contact with the blade which results in another small shockwave arising around Aaron and Black Adam. And much to the old Kahndaq champion's great surprise, he sees that the young Gardian's Omni-blade consumes his living lightning, enveloping the entire silver sword in an intense blue lightning similar to his own. This means Aaron, who now glares down at the pinned mortal champion now wields the power of the gods.

And with this power within his sword, Aaron proceeds to bring it down onto his opponent.

And once as Aaron's magically-enhanced sword makes direct contact with Black Adam's chest, transferring the magic lightning to him. A flash of light envelopes his entire body for a second before it fades away, revealing what appears to be a mortal form of the Kahndaq king.

"Amazing…" Betty says expressly as she sees her son's surprised display against the regime from within the Batplane. She now knows how far Aaron has gotten in this vast progress in both power and responsibility to protect the people by doing what he thinks is the best moral decision.

So much so that even Batman was impressed by how Aaron handled the situation. Though he wouldn't show it from his casual expression.

Glaring down at the now mortal being of Teth Adam, Aaron picks him up by his head effortlessly. "Now who's the weak one," the gardian king mockingly growls before he gives Teth a smooth headbutt that is strong enough to knock him out of the fight.

With Adam and the other regime members now out of the way, Aaron can now address his friends. But only for his senses to suddenly pick up two familiar energy signatures heading his way fast. "Huh?!" he reacts before letting out a growl as he turns around to fight them with his Omni-blade.

But only to be greeted by a surprise attack of a massive yellow construct mace come slamming down on top of him.

"AARON!!" the members of the Insurgents shout in both shock and horror when they see their said Gardian friend get severely smashed in front of them.

The maker of the large construct, Sinestro, lets out a sinister laugh before he raises the construct mace and slams it down on Aaron again. And again for the next few seconds, Sinestro continuously repeats the smash attack over and over, further embedding the now-seen crater.

Soon enough, Satisfaction envelopes Sinestro's ego as the yellow mace construct dissipates before he descends to the ground along with Hal Jordan. "Not so much of a threat, was he?" Sinestro queries Yellow Lantern before they both go to inspect the crater where their Gardian adversary remains.

But to their great shock, they find the crater to be empty. There was nobody to be found within. There weren't even signs of a trace that Aaron was even there at all before the first strike.

"Grrrrrrrrrrrrr…"

And said Gardian made himself known to the two surprised Lanterns. "You're sure about that?" And his voice sounds excessively angry and it's directed right behind Sinestro.

Upon hearing Aaron's voice, the startled Sinestro instantly turns to try to deliver a left-power ring hook toward him. But only to be effortlessly caught in a fierce grip by green-energized Aaron when he easily saw it coming. Following next, a shadow looms over Sinestro that causes him to fearfully gaze at the enormous ominous-glowing Omni-blade that immediately comes striking down upon him.

Slash

The entire regime army is completely aghast when they see another one of their commanders is easily defeated. Giving attention to Sinestro's unendurable screaming as the number one enemy of Superman cuts his hand clean off, effectively severing his connection to his power ring for good as his entire lantern form reverts to his civilian outfit.

Dropping the de-powered man to the ground, It wouldn't be long before the furious Aaron notices the regime soldier's eyes on him and turns to address them with a final confrontational action.

"HRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

The young Gardian king bellows out a powerful roar, one that seemingly stretches out to the entire surrounding area and echoes outside of Gotham City, and it was directed at the entire regime army. For some reason though, they understood what Aaron's roar meant. It was a warning that if they don't stand down now in the next second or two, they'll be in a much worse condition than how their regime leaders are right now.

And with a singular decision made, they directly drop their weapons, get on their knees, along with their hands raised in the air in signs of surrendering, and ultimately quit their assault.

(Ending Daisuke Yano: Godzilla Final War Mix OST: Godzilla vs KumongaKamacuras/ Undersea Battleship)

Seeing their surrender, Aaron turns to glare at the second Yellow Lantern with his green aura of energy pulsing out in intimidation while he points his similarly glowing Omni-blade at him "Here's your one final chance to make the right choice," he growls threateningly. "So if I were you, I would take it,"

Hal couldn't help but finch at the choices given to him by the Gardian king. It's now become an obvious realization to Yellow Lantern that he stands no chance against Aaron in a one-on-one fight. And it would've been futile to fly away as he would only be easily caught by Aaron in an instant. So he has to make a choice now and it needs to be the right one for him.

Without making a single word, Hal simply removes his power ring from his finger which also reverts his yellow lantern uniform as well to his civilian form before he similarly goes down to his knees with his hands behind his head in a sign of surrender.

And from that new development sparks numerous cries of victory from the civilian protesters as they realize they have finally won their resistance against the regime's oppression. All of them were looking at Aaron, lauding him with thankful shouts and gestures of their appreciation for not abandoning and helping them in their time of need.

It was rather appreciative. But Aaron is more focused on his friends' conditions than what the people felt about him. "Are all of you alright?"

"Oh, we're a-ok, spike head!" a slightly injured Harley manages to speak out in her usual bubbly tone.

"And it's all thanks to you" J'onn also comes in to say as he approaches the young Gardian.

Aaron smiles in appreciation before he notices the bat theme aircraft slowly descend to the ground. Once the bottom hatch opens up, Batman and Betty exit the aircraft and make their way to their insurgent allies.

"You're ok..." She expresses great relief at seeing Aaron as his healing factor easily takes care of his injuries while Batman goes to check on his son.

"Dad…"Robin speaks out in sight of his father's close presence.

"Are you hurt?" he asks in concern for his son's well-being, to which the said boy nods in confirmation.

"Yeah, I'm just whelmed," he says jokingly. A reference to what his big brother Dick would say from time to time.

It was a sheer relief for the Dark Knight to see and hear about his son's condition. Luckily he and the others didn't suffer too much injury in their effort to hold off the regime's forces.

But with the conflict in Gotham now ceased, there's another in the next City to focus on now.

"Batman!" Martian Manhunter urgently calls out to along with the other insurgents as he holds onto his comms. "Everyone, our forces in Metropolis are being overwhelmed by a large tidal wave. I don't know how long until their all wiped out,"

Hearing this update only makes Batman grumble as he already knows who is the likely one responsible for that, Aquaman.

"Ok…"Aaron suddenly declares as he sheaths his Omni-blade to his back before looking at the night horizon of the City Of Tomorrow with narrowed eyes. "You guys got things covered here?"

"Yes, we'll secure the situation here," The Dark Knight assures.

"Good, cause I'm heading over to help them right now,"

"Wait, By yourself?" Flash worriedly asks as he sees the determined look on the young Gardian king's face.

Sensing the crimson speedster's concern, Aaron turns to him and smirks. "No, not alone,"

"Aaron, be careful," Betty cautiously says to her son.

And all This makes the young warrior maneuver his smirk over to her as he envelopes himself in a green aura of energy. "I will. And just like I said to you before Mom. There's no way I'm gonna let these guys take me down easy,"

And with that said, Aaron's green aura further intensifies before he gets into starting position.

Boom

Everyone is greatly taken back when Aaron dashes forward at a high burst of speed, sprinting far away from the others as he became a green blur to them.

A blur that's about to head into the next fight, in the next city.

(-Metropolis Five Minutes Later-)

(Entering Cris Velasco: God Of War OST: Poseidon's Wrath)

In one of the many streets of Metropolis, an unnaturally but enormous tidal wave continues to move forward, engulfing almost everything it passes with unrelenting force that continues to forcefully push the remaining lexcorp soldiers to run away to avoid being swallowed up as well.

But on the other side of the moving wave, Aquaman and his Atlantean army proceed in moving forward with their assault while the Atlantean king uses his golden trident to manipulate the large tide.

"Keep pressing forward!" Aquaman orders his Atlantean troops. "Wipe every last human scourge off every street!" The entire underwater battalions let out an acknowledged grunt before pressing further with their persistent onslaught as their king increases the tidal wave's speed.

The retreating Lexcorp soldiers were greatly startled by the sudden speed increase of the large tide that slowly gains up on them. But it only gets worse when one of them accidentally trips on his own two feet and tumbles to the ground, leaving him alone to face the sheer consequence of his own mistake. The great wave gets closer and closer to the intensely frightened soldier as all he could do is just close his eyes and be ready to accept his inevitable death.

Whoosh

But only to reopen them again as the soldier hears a loud whooshing sound above him, and not just him but both sides hear it as well, prompting them to look above them as well. And what they see is a great surprise to them all when they see a familiar green glowing object, descending straight for them at a surprising speed that seems to be increasing every second it continues its descent until it dives into the large watery wave. And due to its building speed, it easily manages to touch the ground.

Boom

What came next is an explosion from within the massive tidal wave that became strong enough to vaporize it completely, leaving both sides of Atlantian and Insurgent exposed to shockingly see what was the cause of this thwarted assault.

Firmly standing tall on his feet, Aaron continues to emanate his green vitality around him as he wields his similarly green-energized Omni-blade in one hand. All while glaring at the opposite side where he sees his next opponent glaring right back at him.

"Hurry, get yourselves to safety," the young Gardian tells the Lexcorp soldiers behind him as he maintains his focus on those in front of him.

"R-right," one of the soldiers manages to say as they immediately proceed to vacate to safety, leaving behind Aaron to stand alone against the entire Army of Atlantis.

"Are you ready, boy?" Aquaman calls out Aaron in a challenging gesture. "To take on the full might of Atlantis?!" But instead of a direct response from the Gardian, all he hears from him is a mocking chuckle before lets out an arrogant smirk that seems to greatly annoy the half-Atlantean king.

"Yeah, 'we' are!"

We? Aquaman is confused by the young gardian king's exclamation until he notices sudden movement on some of the nearby building rooftops. And he is greatly surprised once again as he catches sight of numerous Amazon archers, all aiming their fiery-tipped arrows at them.

But there is one Amazon that appears before them as well. It was not Wonder Woman but rather Queen Hippolyta herself leading the Amazon army. Drawing her sword in the air, Hippolyta readies herself. "Amazons, Fire!"

With that command from their Queen, The whole female archers launch a dozen fire arrows at Aquaman and his underwater troops. This forces them to raise their shields to protect themselves from the barrage of arrows while their King manages to deflect the ones with his trident.

With the frontal attack being their main focus, they are left open for what's to come next.

"Now Sisters, Attack!" Hippolyta calls out again.

Upon hearing his enemy's command, Aquaman and his men suddenly hear numerous war cries from behind. Turning to the source, they are confronted by another overwhelming herd of Amazon warriors charging at them with swords and shields drawn to do battle. But in response to this, the Atlantean army immediately charge ahead to confront the Amazons, head-on.

Aquaman irritatingly growls before he turns to glare at smirking Aaron. "So what now, you cowardly excuse of a king?" the said Gardian king mockingly speaks. "Are you gonna stand down, or do you wanna experience what it's like to be beaten down by a real King?"

The arrogance in the Gardian's declaration infuriates the Atlantean. That will be the last time. "Your insolence will end here, boy!"

And with that, the two kings launch toward one another with both powered-up weapons, clashing with one another. This immense conflict between the two royalists as they continue clashing their respective weapons with such fierceness strikes until their final strike forms a power struggle.

But unknown to both Kings, The clashes between their respective weapons cause the silver edges of Aaron's Osmosian sword to glint a gold hue before quickly reversing back to its original pigment.

"What's the matter, your highness? Can't handle the truth?" The young Gardian King says continuously to mock. "That your actually nothing more than one of Superman's puppets,"

"I said be silent!" Aquaman snaps before he manages to push Aaron back. "I will not be judged for defending Atlantis,"

With a quick twirl of his gold trident, Aquaman horizontally swings it forward at Aaron, and to which the young gardian warrior blocks with his Omni-blade. Similarly pushing back, Aaron attempts to counter-swing back, prompting the half-Atlantean to dodge the incoming sword strike that's followed by another one before he parries the next one with his trident, leaving his opponent open for a fast thrust to his head.

Fortunately, Aaron manages to swerve his head to avoid the jab which left a bloody cut on his cheek. And it wouldn't be long for Arthur to reposition his trident to horizontally swing at the Gardian. But this time Aaron manages to duck under right at the moment he swings his sword which barely manages to brush Arthur by the top of his forehead, leaving a bloody side cut which is soon followed by a green-energized enhanced kick to the chest, pushing him back in the process.

"'Defending Atlantis'. Some King you are," Aaron sneers as he points his Osmosian alloyed sword in accusation while the cut on his cheek quickly heals. "Because a real King should protect the people they swore to do no matter how dangerous the outcome is,"

"And just who do you think you represent as king?!" The King of Atlantis angrily queries. Just who does this boy think he is, declaring himself a king? As far as he knows, Aaron's world is dead along with his kingdom and people, even despite having royal blood in him.

"Who do I represent? That's easy," The Gardian king begins his declaration while his green energy suddenly surges around him. With that motion, Aaron makes a sudden charge toward a surprising Aquaman.

"It's the people of Earth!" Aquaman barely blocks the downward slash of the energized sword with his trident, which a crack forms on the concrete floor. And once again, the bladed edges of the Osmosian sword glint out in gold when it made contact with Aquaman's trident.

Aquaman grits his teeth as he now struggles to push against the surprisingly new strength of his Gardian opponent. But he's more surprised by how far Aaron is willing to go to achieve that without thought of consequences from Superman. "You naïve fool. Do you truly want to save them that much? To liberate them from Superman? Even at the cost of your own life?"

Hearing those questions, Aaron determinedly glares at the Atlantean. "No, no not want, I will!" He exclaims incredibly with no hesitation in his voice before he performs a surprising headbutt right toward Aquaman's own.

Crack

Aquaman painfully screams out as the substantial blow. The result causes him to distort himself, leaving him exposed so the Gardian to attack. "Because unlike you, I dare to stand up against those who wanna threaten on this planet!" And without any warning, Aaron seizes him with another sword strike.

Crack

But as soon as both weapons collide again, Aquaman is greatly alarmed when a crack makes a surprising form on the Neptune trident. But what's even more alarming to the Atlantean king is he now notices the sudden glint of gold form on the silver edges of his green-energized sword infused together.

He desperately tries to push back. But the increased strength of the young Gardian king proves too much for him. The king doesn't let up as he continuously slams his right down onto the gold trident. The crack deepens further with each increasing strike to the trident. And finally, Aaron put forth more power into his sword for one final swing.

"HRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Boom

The continuous quarrel between the Amazons and Atlantean armies suddenly ceases when they hear the signature bellowing roar of the young Gardian king. They turn to see the commotion. But only to be in great shock when they witness the king of Atlantis get severely slammed to the ground by the Gardian king with no restraint. But the trembling force was put into it, resulting in Aquaman being almost embedded in the concrete and barely conscious.

But to the Atlantean army, that was the least of their concern as they discovered something else that terrified them the most.

Upon the ground lays the Golden Trident of Neptune. The legendary artifact, which serves as a symbol to the ruler of the entire kingdom of Atlantis, is broken in two.

(Ending Cris Velasco: God Of War OST: Poseidon's Wrath)

Standing back up, Aaron continues to glare down at the Atlantean with only pity as the golden glint on his Omni-blade shortly wears off the moment the trident was severed. How this person ever remained as king? Aaron has no idea. Nor will he ever understand his reasons for joining up with tyrants like Superman. But it didn't matter now because it was too late.

"It's over," Aaron openly declares to the King of Atlantis as he turns and aims his glowing Omni-blade directly at his face. "You won't win this fight or any other fights today," the only response Aquaman could make was a painful grunt before finally succumbing to unconsciousness.

Aaron made sure his voice is loud for everyone to hear him as he directly turns to face the Atlantean army. "Do you see this, Atlantis?" He openly asks them while he gestures to their king. "You're weakling of a king has been defeated, so there is no point in you fighting anymore. So if you have any shred of dignity, I suggest you take your loss and go back to the oceans where you belong,"

The underwater troops could only realize that their chances of winning looked impossible. Aquaman was humility beaten. And their greatest treasure has been destroyed. They are outnumbered in qualities due to Aaron's overwhelming power and courage, and quantity, thanks to the aid of the Amazon army led by Hippolyta. This is a fight they aren't able to win today.

So with no other choice, The entire army of Atlantis must now cease their attack on Metropolis. And without any delay, they now proceed to immediately clear out the streets while they carry their unconscious king back to the open sea where their home resides.

Seeing their shameful departure, the roars of victory are heard throughout the whole Amazon army.

"They are retreating," Hippolyta declares as she approaches the young Gardian, who dissipates his green energy while holstering his Omni-blade to his back. "The battle has been won,"

Aaron nods in agreement before he immediately goes for his comm. "Batman…" he calls in for his ally. "It's over. Aquaman and his army have been dealt with,"

"What about the civilians? Are they secured?" Batman asks.

And that's when Hippolyta chimes in. "Do not worry, Batman. I'll have my sisters break into legions to perform rescue and recovery for those who require assistance in vacating the city,"

"Alright," Batman consents to the older Amazon Queen's proposal and proceeds to go and assist her sister with the said proposal. This means they can now focus on the one final fight that will decide the fate of this planet. "Where is Superman?"

Aaron's eyes sharpen in slight anger from the mention of the Kryptonian's name as he shifts them up to look at the open night skies. "No," he bitterly answers before scowling. "Damn coward,"

He tried to sense his energy out before he drop here in Metropolis. But he is not here. Superman must've flown out of here because he's out of the Gardian's range to sense him. "Any idea where I can find him?"

"Yes, there is," a voice suddenly speaks up as Aaron easily recognizes it when he makes his appearance known to the young Gardian.

"Ares…" Aaron says. "You know where Superman is?"

Ares nods. "As of now, he is currently residing in his Fortress of Solitude in the Arctic, watching the circumstances as we speak," The Greek God explains while gesturing to one of the safely hidden news copters and recording the entire onslaught from afar.

With that surprising realization, Aaron couldn't help but smirk at knowing what he did to his minions is likely enraging him to no end. But the satisfying moment would have to be put on hold for now until Superman is dealt with.

This means it's time for Aaron to put an end to this ongoing war once and for all. "Alright," he tells the God of War with utmost determination. "It's time to end once and for all,"

(-Gotham City-)

After receiving a notification of Aaron's next move to confront Superman at his Fortress Of Solitude, Batman along with the rest of his Insurgents resumes his current objective of securing their hold on Gotham.

For once after five years, it looks like things are beginning to finally go back to normal. The people of this city have regained their freedom, Superman's regime forces are currently being apprehended until the proper authorities arrive, and the crisis at Metropolis has been averted. These big wins would've been a time to commemorate these great accomplishments.

But if there is something that Batman has learned in his time as a crime fighter, it's to always try to expect the unexpected, especially when it comes to Superman. He already expects that his former friend won't surrender peacefully which means more destruction will be in the wake of the upcoming battle that will soon be at his doorstep. And it's all the more reason to be ready for the worse when it may come to theirs as well.

So Batman proceeds to inform the rest of his Insurgent allies of this. But only to find something missing. Or rather someone missing.

"Eric, where's Robin?" the Dark Knight inquires as he is unable to locate his son within his sight.

"Wait, He's not with you?" the Armored technopath questions as he is unaware of the whereabouts of the ten-year-old sidekick.

Batman now becomes even more concerned as he immediately reaches for his comms. "Robin, report. What's your location?"

"I am in your old house, Bruce?"

It was a voice that was not Robin's voice that answers the call but someone else. One that has Batman on high alert as he already recognizes who it was without a second. "Bane…" he growls.

"Come, alone. Any reinforcement and you will have to bury another son right next to your butler and parents' tomb," Bane says threateningly before he ends the comms.

One of Batman's hands forms a fierce grip from hearing these demands made by this formidable foe.

He needs to rescue his son, now.

To be continued…

Another Chapter comes to an end!

Finally! I never thought I would ever get this page finished and uploaded.

Man, there were times were I was stuck in writing because I felt lazy and wanted to sleep in for the rest of the day. But I'll never stop trying to write these chapters down until I reach the end of the story and move on to the other stories' ideas I have thought up during my writing.

Anyways, enough of that.

We're about to reach the end. Everything will now fall onto this one final battle. What will come next? Will Batman be able to rescue Robin? And most of all, who will come out on top, Superman or Aaron?

Find out in the next chapter!

And also, as usual, I don't own anything in the story except the OC characters, and all the rest belong to their respective owners. Hopefully, by the end of this month/year, I'll have the next chapter in by then.

Goodbye, for now.
