Author's Note- I am not dead, and neither is this fic.
Long story short, I'd had the first eight chapters of this story written up before I started posting, but this particular point in the story was really difficult for me to get past. I had a really hard time deciding on what direction to take the story in. On top of that, the self-entitled neckbeards on this site left some really shitty reviews about how I was "disrespecting" Ben by not having him shit all over the wizards. That pretty much killed my motivation to work on this.
But I'm back now, and I've decided I'm no longer going to keep cross-posting on this hive of scum and villainy. If you enjoyed this fic, you can find the latest chapter on AO3 under the same title. If you are planning on bitching in the reviews, please instead write your complaints on a cactus, dip it in hot sauce, and shove the whole thing up your ass because I'm not coming back here.
