Hi. Sorry for the late chapter I was working on a school project.

Chapter 5

I woke up in a pretty bed with a lot of fluff. The bedroom was big and there were all kinds of decorations. There was a girl who looked the same age as me pouring a drink. She had long red hair and wings on her back and head. The girl gave me the drink and said "Do you want it? It's a hot coco." I thought to myself "I'm glad it's not tea". I thank her and accept the drink. She sat next to me and said " I'm Koakuma it's nice to meet you!". I replied "I'm Hibiki. Same to you too". We started to talking about stuff. It was relaxing. She was so fun and lively. She was also kind and wasn't pushy or felt like she was expecting something from me. During the middle of our conversation her voice sank. I asked what was wrong and she said that she was supposed to let Patchouli know when I woke up. And here I am now awake for roughly 20 minutes. I said " Maybe we should just go … I don't think it would be nice to lie to her". Koakuma replied " ya.. (sign) but I'm definitely going to get chewed out because of it". I added " then I will go and apologize with you too". Koakuma thanked me then we both left the bedroom. It led to the library. Where we saw Patchouli rested on her chair. She seemed exhausted. Patchouli saw us then asked " it took you 23 minutes to set up a hot chocolate?". Koakuma froze and I looked at her with an expression saying "are you ready?" She nodded and we both apologized. Koakuma apologizes "Sorry! Hibiki woke up as soon as I walked in and we chatted for the rest of the time.". Patchouli signs "you both are a handful you know that". I tried to speak up but my voice just won't speak. Then Koakuma gave me the same look I gave her. I was able to say what I wanted to "Miss Patchouli, thank you for being so kind to me. Even when you didn't have to". Patchouli blushed a little and said"Wha-. Oh nevermind, but I'm not the only one you should be thanking. You should thank Remiu too." I was shocked. That never occurred to me. She's done so much for me and I didn't even thank her. I'm a jerk. Why didn't I? I had plenty of opportunities. My mind spiral down with these thoughts until Patchouli spoke again "ok?". I looked up and answered "will do!... I was just thinking… that I should have done this early". Loud thuds came from the roof. Patchouli commented " they're still at it?". I asked what was going on and Patchouli explained "Reimu and Marisa went up to 'talk' to Remilia but I guess they ran into Sakuya instead. You should probably catch up with them." I replied"I will.. thank you" as I ran up the stairs. There was only one place to go so Patchouli didn't give me directions. As I was a knife came by fly I stopped moving and it hit the railing. If that wasn't there I would be dead I thought to myself. Reimu, Marisa and a Lady wearing a maid outfit who I'm assuming is Miss Sakuya were way too busy with the fight to notice that I was there. I wasn't sure what to do so I threw myself in the middle of the room for everyone to see. The first stop. Reimu flew towards me but Sakuya pointed her knife at me first and asked why I was here. I had a choice to make, I thought. I turned to her and said " there might be seal crystal's here. Some of them might hold pieces of my past. I wanted to know who I was." I started to look down and continued " I don't even know who used to know me. Did I have a family? a friend even? I don't know, but I want to find out." I stared back at Sakuya. Sakuya then asked" those seal crystal's are dangerous. In the wrong hands they can cause major damage. We'll have to destroy them all at the same time. At least that's what the Lady said. What will you do? Are your lost memories worth endangering your current friends?" I looked down without considering it. A short memory came to me. It was the voice of a man. He said " letting go is giving up on something. And I will never let you go. No matter the million universes or the flowing time, I'll never let you go.". I looked back at Sakuya and said "letting go means giving up on something. And I am never letting go of anything I care about.". Clapping rang through the room A Lady hovering over the ground. She had wings but they were different from Koakuma. They were more intimidating. She said "Your courage is remarkable considering the fact that you have no hope of winning when it comes to a fight." She flew closer to me "I'm Remilia Scarlet. The owner of this mansion. And you are?". At this point Sakuya backed away and stood next to Remilia. Reimu came over and shouted "What's your problem?! Hibiki could have gotten seriously hurt!". Remilia answered " I assure you nothing bad was going to happen to Hibiki. The opportunity presented itself so I decided to act on it." Then she turn to me and continue "I doubt that these crystals have anything to do with your memories. That being said they only started to appear after you arrived, so the two being linked is more than a possibility." She turned to Remiu again" The Scarlet Devil Mansion will still be collecting the seal crystal in partnership with Hakurei Shrine. Will that suffice?" She asked knowing it will. Remiu reluctantly agreed and we moved on. Out of earshot of me, Reimu, and Marisa. Remilia started to talk to Sakuya. "You went a little overboard." Sakuya replied "My apologies Lady Rem- "Remilia interrupted Sakuya "It's fine. Now how do we get Miss Hibiki to get used to the battle of bullets?" She asked herself while putting her finger on her chin.

Hi The writer again Sorry if I messed up portraying the Scarlet Devil Mansion characters. I don't know Sakuya and Remilia too well and I've haven't played a game that focused on them unless you count Lost World. You should probably know that according to my understanding Remilia has some sort of Manipulation of Fate magic where she can see different futures or something. (To be honest I don't really get it since I'm hearing different things) but that's what I'm using as an excuse for having Remilia come to a compromise with Remiu then just doing a battle of bullets with her in the games.

As for Koakuma. I'm amused that she is slightly taller than Hibiki. Just a reminder that Hibiki is a child (roughly 8 years old) so she isn't tall. Like at all.
