Code Geass: Duty of a Nobody
Chapter 4: Refrain
The quartet of Turtles jumped from one rooftop to the other. It had been two days since the attack on the hospital, so Lelouch was still on medical leave until tomorrow. Because of this, he opted to stay down in the Lair to help Splinter train the new recruits. Needless to say it was a little weird being out without him. However the turtles had alternated between saying who was Nobody, to better instill the idea the vigilante was still around.
"Dude, all I'm saying is, I could do the Nobody voice better." Mikey said offhandedly.
"You do not," Donnie gripped annoyed.
"Hey hold up you guys," Leo called out. From bellow the turtles saw a taller thug, holding a Japanese man by the throat. In the thug's free hand was an injector of some kind.
"Don't worry you eleven, you'll feel so much better after this," The thug sneered.
"That piece of crap," Raph raged, gripping his sais.
"Cool it Raph, we can't blow our cover," Leo said firmly, then quickly added. "I get to be Nobody this time,"
"Wha?" Donnie gasped. "It was my turn."
"Shadow formation," Leo said, ignoring Donnie's complaint.
The turtles moved into position, as the nameless thug forced the needle into the man's arm.
"Drop it!" Leo ordered from the shadows, trying to make his voice sound deeper.
"That isn't remotely how Lelouch sounds," Donnie huffed quietly.
"Crap, Nobody," The thug dropped the mostly emptied injector and ran, right into Raph's fist.
"I love doing that," Raph smirked, rubbing his fist.
"Are you crazy, that wasn't the plan," Leo called out as he angrily walked over to Raph. Donnie and Mikey shrugged, coming out.
"Thank you for this opportunity sir, I never thought I'd get in," The man said dazed, grabbing onto Mikey's hand.
Both Donnie and Mikey looked confused at each other, then back at the mystery man.
"Leo, Raph, stop this for a minute, you two really need to see this," Donnie called out.
The turtles looked oddly at the man. "Thank you, thank you, it's finally happened. I got into Tokyo University,"
"Didn't Britannia turn that into a Military base?" Raph asked worried.
"I thought it was the research lab now," Mikey said offhandedly.
"Raph's right, Mikey you're thinking of Kyoto Technical Institute," Donnie explained.
"I don't like this," Leo said, grabbing the vial of a brown liquid. On the bottle was one word: Refrain.
Considering the man's condition, it was easy to walk him to a nearby free clinic. Added to the man's delusions, it was even easier to guide him to walk into the front door, while the turtles watched from just out of view to make sure he got medical attention.
A nurse at the front desk let out an exhausted sigh. "Not another Refrain user." The four brothers looked at one another concerned.
"We're breaking in, aren't we?" Raph asked worried.
-The Lair-
"Damn it Lelouch, that's really distracting!" Kallen shouted from the dojo. She was presently blindfolded and barefoot, walking through a simple obstacle course made of a few foam blocks, hurdles, and discarded traffic signs. The idea behind this was to teach her how to rely on her other senses not just sight. Which is why she was distracted by the tantalizing smell of buttered popcorn.
"Basic combat lesson Kallen," Lelouch said popping a piece into his mouth. He stood to the side with a bowl full of newly microwaved popcorn. Next to him were both Ohgi and Tamaki, a smile on their faces. "Never expect the opponent to play fair."
"I mean he's not wrong," Tamaki smirked, taking a handful from the bowl. Splinter then walked over and smacked the guy's hand, causing the popcorn to fly in the air. Quick as always, Splinter scooped the snack pieces into his hand.
"Indeed, he is not," The rat said with a trolling grin. Tamaki's face fell at that.
Toru and Inoue were going through basic stances on the opposite side lead by Sayoko. While Kento and Yoshikata were inspecting their weapons. Chiba looked down with a smile as she walked out from one of the rooms on the second level. She had just finished moving into the Lair, as she feared Kusakabe would track her down. Living with five teenage boys was a considerable downgrade, but she couldn't complain. That and Michelangelo was a surprisingly good cook when it came to food that wasn't pizza.
"We're home," Mikey said glumly and he and the other turtles walked into The Lair.
"Why don't I like the way you said that?" Nunnally asked, looking up from her laptop as she sat in the living area with C.C.
"Hey Red, kill the blindfold, you got to see this," Raph called out. The other members of the Hamato Clan adopted worried expressions at Raph's order. Immediately, everyone walked over to the kitchen table.
"What troubles you my sons?" Splinter asked worried.
"We found some lowlife scum pumping this into a guy, the latest drug craze, Refrain." Raph said, holding up a bottle.
"What's it do?" Kallen asked worried.
"It's a hallucinogen, one that forces you to relive happy memories. The poor guy was so delusional, he didn't even notice us standing in front of his face." Donatello explained grimly. "We dropped this him off at a clinic, and he wasn't the only one,"
"Let me guess, the targets were all Japanese?" Inoue asked rhetorically.
"Exactly, at that clinic alone, there was already 23 patients, and it gets worse," Donnie reluctantly explained.
"How?" Lelouch asked concerned.
"You OD on the stuff, you go catatonic," Mikey said, shuddering at what they saw.
"Quiet the interesting way to rid Area 11 of the natives," Ohgi scoffed.
Kallen was about to add something when she noticed a rather unpleasant look on Splinter's face as he looked directly at the bottle. "Master?"
"Oh, my mistake," Splinter said, snapping out of his funk.
"Sensei, you're not tempted, are you?" Lelouch asked slowly.
"I would be lying if I said no," Splinter reluctantly admitted. "The luxury of remembering what hands I once had, the joy waking up next to my wife, it is a heavy temptation."
"It amazes me how quickly this spread, I've never heard of this," Ohgi said worried. "Nobody in my neighborhood's said anything."
"Let's look around and take this stuff off the street for good," Raph said, punching his fist into his open palm.
"Here, here," Chiba agreed.
-The Next Day-
Nunnally rolled through her school's hallways, trying to get out of the building. The day had just ended, and she wanted to be ready to help the rest of the clan with this Refrain Problem.
"Well hello there cripple," Nunnally visibly cringed at that. Reluctantly, Nunnally turned to see Jason Malden. He was clad in the blue version of the school uniform with pants. All looking incredibly expensive. His blond hair was curled into a cowlick. Jason was a stereotypical Britannian, constantly looking down on everyone and anything. His primary reason however was his family owned Hephaestus Industries, the leading company in weapons designs, both for troops and Knightmares. But for whatever reason, he loved picking on Nunnally.
"What do you want Jason?" Nunnally asked annoyed.
"Oh nothing much, I just wanted to tell you how much trouble those damned elevens you love so much," Jason sneered.
"And that would be what?" Nunnally wasn't sure whether or not her tone was worry or anger.
"My father has a friend in the Knight-Police, and they told us that those elevens are doing a new drug craze called Refrain, and how Clovis came to a rather appropriate way to stop those idiots from doing so," Jason continued. "20 years in prison for anyone dumb enough to inject themselves with it."
"And how would you know this stuff is injected how?" Nunnally asked coyly.
"Y-shut up cripple," Jason stammered, he then left, seeing his father sent a chauffeur.
Nunnally turned to see Sayoko had come to pick her up. "You need not worry about him," Sayoko leaned in and whispered. "I borrowed some of your orange brother's stink bombs," Nunnally cackled at that.
As Jason got into the back of the limo, he closed the door. It was here the insides were covered in green smoke.

"Paperwork, I hate paperwork," Suzaku gripped. He continued to fill out the forms of their latest bust. Much to their luck, a concerned citizen made an anonymous call to about a strange fight, leading to a Foot Clan base. However, most of the weapons and data had been cleared out. Now, he was situated at the desk near the repair docks of the Lancelot. Lloyd was on the opposite side of the room, working on his laptop modifying the Lancelot.
"And here's the last form." Cecile Croomy said, handing him another page.
"Thanks." Suzaku said appreciatory. He then sighed, noticing something off with her.
"It's not you," Cecile said quietly, as if she read her mind. "It's Lloyd actually, he's been acting strangely for the past few months,"
"From what I've heard, that's not unnatural for him." Suzaku admitted.
"I meant for him," Cecile corrected. "It happened a few months ago, some terrorists attacked a research lab Lloyd was working at, involving some project of his. I was on the other side of the building overseeing some shipments Lloyd's research station exploded."
"What was the project?" Suzaku asked confused.
"I couldn't tell you, this project was one of his personal side projects, and he never tells anyone, even me," Cecile shrugged. "He's just been really quiet lately. Some of us believe he's suffering from PTSD."
"It's not unheard of." Suzaku said in the same tone. Nobody noticed a series of strange characters appear on Lloyd's laptop, causing him to smile.
-Shinjuku-
"Freakin' turtles and their obsession with pizza." Ohgi groaned annoyed. Having spent the day searching for anything to do with Refrain, Ohgi came up empty. Now he was asked to return to the Lair, after picking up dinner. He walked into Albert's seeing Woody behind the counter.
"Hey Ohgi, what's up man?" Woody said, bringing up the stack of pizza boxes for the turtles.
"I'd say my spirits, but I'd be lying," Ohgi admitted. "You hear about Refrain?"
"Unfortunately, yes," Woody gripped. "I'm out two delivery drivers because they were caught using it."
"Right the 20 years thing," Ohgi guessed.
"I take you and the others are on the case?" Woody suggested knowingly.
"Something like that but finding anything about the source is harder than you'd think," Ohgi rubbed the back of his head, and let out an exhausted sigh.
"I might know a place to start looking," Woody said nervously. "A guy called the Black King,"
"Black King?" Ohgi asked confused.
"Yeah, he's this crime lord with a major love for the Britannian code, dude is virtually untouchable." Woody continued unpleasantly.
"And you know of this how?" Ohgi asked worried.
"Girl that use to work here, Anita, she wound up in debt to the guy, don't know the full story behind it," Woody shivered at that. "She forced herself to work a lot of shifts, not just at the pizzeria. One of her neighbors told me some of his goons ransacked her place and took her, and they mentioned something about a hunt."
"And let me guess, since she's an 11, the police wouldn't do anything about it?" Ohgi asked rhetorically.
"That and they say some of the police work for him," Woody continued appallingly. Grabbing the pizzas (they had already been paid for), Ohgi went down to the Lair and told the others what Woody told him.
"Hunts huh," Donnie grabbed his laptop. "I've read police reports referencing something like this before, maybe." He clacked away at the keys. "Found it, it's a popular casino called Babel Tower, one known for their waitresses to wear bunny outfits for a hunting themed game. They're widely believed to be involved with multiple illegal activities including slave trading."
"Let me guess, nothing concrete to warrant a proper investigation?" Toru asked rhetorically.
"Considering this Black King guy has guys on the force, it wouldn't surprise me if intel went missing," Yoshikata said offhandedly.
"It doesn't prove Black King is directly responsible for Refrain," Splinter began. "However it seems he has committed many crimes against the country. It would be wise to find evidence first and work from there,"
"For starters, we just have to get someone in," Leo theorized.
"Well, I can think of one pretty lady who could get in," Lelouch said with a smirk.
"Oh, hell no, I am not wearing a damned bunny suit to get close to this Black King guy," Kallen said angrily.
"Me neither!" Inoue agreed. Chiba just pulled out her pistol.
"Actually I was thinking of a certain green-haired freeloaded who needs to earn her keep outside of giving me a Geass," Lelouch explained, his expression not changing. C.C. got shocked at that.
"Oh that's even better," Kallen agreed, her tone switching to joy.
"Get her!" Nunnally sounded the charge as everyone jumped at C.C. who tried to scramble away.
"I regret everything!" C.C. shouted horrified as Kallen swiped one of Mikey's grapplers and snared C.C.'s legs.
-Camelot HQ-
"Another day, another dead end," Cornelia groaned annoyed as she walked out from her transport. She had been working tirelessly into the mystery of whatever had happened in the ghettos. The transformation of Kewell Sorsei needless to say shocked her. So she had begun an investigation into the sludge that caused it. Which of course led to multiple dead ends. All except one that confused her the most. Cornelia looked into the crashed transport vehicle, one containing poisonous gas, but found no evidence of any kind that indicated any form of toxic anything. The storage container didn't match standards. So much so in fact that Cornelia was certain the gas would have leaked out and killed someone long before it reached the ghettos. What Cornelia didn't know was Clovis was watching annoyed from his office via camera. Not far away was Bartley.
"If she finds out, and passes it on to the Emperor, then what Shredder did to Prince Clovis will seem like a mercy," Bartley said shocked.
"Then maybe, we need something to take her mind off of things," Clovis said, eyeing another monitor. He saw Euphemia slip and fall right into the arms of that 11 lab rat Suzaku. He then activated the audio feeds.
"Princess," Suzaku tried to say properly. He struggled trying to adjust to the shift in weight.
"Sir Suzaku," Euphemia said, adjusting herself and getting off the boy. "I didn't mean to bump into you like that."
"No, it was my fault," Suzaku corrected. "I should have been paying better attention." He turned to leave for the day. As Suzaku left, a devious plan formed in Clovis's mind.
-Babel Tower-
The next day, a lone female employee with brown hair walked through the female locker room of the hotel. She was clad in a black bunny suit with matching heels, white stockings, and a pair of thin glasses. "I hate you so much right now Lelouch, it's not even funny." C.C. snarled lightly into her earpiece communicator.
"Awe come on, besides, it looks so good on you," Lelouch cackled on the other end. He, Kallen, Nunnally, and the turtles were presently seated in the back of the Battle Shell, parked a few blocks away. Kallen herself was presently kneeling on the ground, holding in her laughter so much. Nunnally and Donatello were each situated at a terminal, and each hacked into a different set of security feeds. The rest of the Hamato Clan was down in the Lair and ready to jump.
"My right butt cheek is numb because it kept getting smacked," C.C. snarled. "And this wig itches something fierce."
"You ate my triple pepperoni, sauerkraut and relish pizza, we're even." Mikey shot back.
"That was the best one," C.C. whined pathetically.
"Just keep looking for something to tie this King guy to Refrain, and we'll handle the rest." Nunnally said, trying to keep everyone on task.
"Alright, keep me posted," C.C. said.
"You got it Freeloader," Nunnally said with a smirk, ending the call.
"I am surprised that came from you of all people," Kallen laughed a little, standing up.
"I live with five teenage boys, it was either learn it, or I wouldn't survive," Nunnally said dryly.
"She loves us and she knows it," Mikey said with a mocking coo, followed by rapid kisses.
"Ew, turtle germs," Nunnally giggled.
Walking to a nearby room, a tray of drinks in hand, C.C. looked around. She turned to see the Black King at a table. He had dark skin with blond hair tied into dreadlocks. He was clad in a rather expensive looking suit. He was situated at a couch surrounded by several other women, all of which were clad in bunny suits too, and all had less then pleasant looks on their faces from being too close to this bastard. She then noticed something, a map laying on the table, one marked with a red X on it. However wherever it was she couldn't tell as the King rolled it up.
"Nunnally?" C.C. said discreetly into her link. She could hear the girl clacking away at the keys to better access the security cameras.
"Howdy darling," This startled C.C. causing her to jump a bit, and turn to Black King who gave a lecherous grin. "I don't remember seeing you around,"
"I'm new, I just started today," C.C. began nervously, hoping this act would buy time.
Black King motioned for some of the girls to move, implying for the immortal to sit. Reluctantly, she sat as he got a little too close for comfort. "You got a name darling?"
"Katelyn sir," C.C. lied, adding to her act.
Black King's phone rang, and he turned to it, seeing that he got a text. "Another time sweetie." He stood up and walked out.
Seeing this from the hacked feed, Lelouch pulled up his mask. "I'll keep up with him, you lot figure out where that spot on the map was."
"You got it bro," Mikey gave a thumbs up.
Moving in the shadows quickly, Lelouch latched himself to the underside of the limo his majesty was loaded into. The vehicle drove off, with Donnie tracking his movements via his shell cell.
"Any ideas where we're going?" Raph turned to Nunnally and Donnie who both wore worried looks on their faces.
"Yeah, a Knight-Police dispatch center on the east side of town." Donnie answered confused.
"For what, the location on the map, or the area Lelouch is going?" Leo asked worried.
"Both," Nunnally answered in the same tone.
-Knight-Police Warehouse-
As the limo parked on the side, away from prying eyes, allowing Black King out of the vehicle, Lelouch took a moment to look around. When the coast was clear, Lelouch slipped out and went to the roof tops. Looking in through a window, Lelouch was confused at what he saw: several people, dressed nothing like the police should, walking around, smoking, and playing several rounds of poker. And nearby were several tables all with various chemicals.
"Last place anyone would think to look," Lelouch mused angrily and impressed. Any location meant to work with the police would be the last place anyone would think to look for a criminal base. It was no wonder the police couldn't find any evidence, because they were in on it. He decided to move around, and noticed a few delivery trucks near the loading docks, being filled with Refrain. He then pulled out his Shell Cell and started to take pictures. It was then Lelouch noticed the crime boss walk into the room.
"Another group wants to buy the Refrain recipe off of us?" Black King asked one of his subordinates.
"Yes sir, they're offering top dollar for a high quality one," The man said.
"Tell them I'll have the delivery order set up tomorrow," Black King ordered.
Having ended her shift, C.C. quickly retreated back to the Lair, shuddering horrified. "That man gave me the creeps like no other," She sat down on the couch, a blanket over her and a cup of cocoa in hand.
"My condolences, but you have been through worse I take it?" Chiba said sounding sympathetic.
"The other problem I have is that there's how many other mafia bosses across the country selling this stuff," Tamaki said angrily.
"Then let's make sure we're ready to cure them," Lelouch said firmly.
"Wait, what?" Ohgi asked confused.
"That's his planning voice," Mikey said excitedly.
"How are we going to cure people of a Refrain addiction?" Tamaki asked angrily.
"Allow me to give you a biology lesson, you can make anti-venom from snake venom," Lelouch explained, pulling out his Shell Cell, and began to cast the various photos he took to the TV. "And a business lesson, you have to give your customers the right product,"
"You want to switch out the Refrain he's got in stock for something else," Kallen realized.
"How about a few bottles of some Michelangelo grade stink bombs?" Mikey offered with a sinister smirk.
"I was going to suggest smoke bombs, but that's way better," Lelouch began shocked, turning to joy.
"I'm loving this, what's the plan?" Ohgi said excitedly.
"Two teams, the Turtles and I are team one, the rest of you are team 2," Lelouch began. "Team One is the distraction, Team 2 be focusing on sabotage and replacements." He revealed a series of crates of Military Grade weaponry on screen. "It seems aside from Refrain, our lovely majesty has gotten some really powerful firearms."
"Sounds fun," Toru smirked.
"Sayoko, you're in charge of team 2," Lelouch said firmly.
"What?" Tamaki asked offended.
"She does have the experience," Yoshikata reminded.
"C.C., you'll have to get close and distract Black King," Lelouch continued.
"When you least expect it Lelouch vi Britannia, my vengeance will be swift and painful," C.C. said dryly.
"Well then, let's get to work," Kallen said with a smirk.
Donnie and Mikey got to work on the replica Refrain bottles, while Lelouch, Leo, and Raph started sharpening Shurikens. Splinter meanwhile handed Ohgi, Chiba, and Kallen proper weapons, Ohgi was given a pair of Kama scythes, Chiba received a sole ninjato sword, while Kallen received a pair of tonfas. Nunnally, Sayoko, and C.C. were helping everyone getting fitted for new ninja garb.
By the next night everyone was ready. The field teams, sans the turtles, were in new outfits, like Lelouch's original Nobody outfit, were black and red. On each left shoulder was the Hamato Clan symbol, and each having a red belt attached to their bodies. Chiba, Yoshikata, and Tamaki each had a bandolier to store their weapons. Ohgi, Kento, Kallen, and Sayoko each had pouches attached to their upper thighs to store their weapons. Lelouch and Toru, had modified belt pouches on their lower backs to store their weapons. Everyone pulled up a ninja mask and hood, with Yoshikata trading in his glasses for contacts, except for Sayoko and Ohgi. Sayoko brought out her frowning mask, while Ohgi put on a black painted hockey mask.
"What?" Tamaki asked confused.
"I can't breathe in those things," Ohgi said defensively.
"Remember, no plan goes accordingly," Splinter began. "And do not forget, a ninja must strike hard and fast."
"We got it sensei," Raph smirked.
-Black King's Limo-
In her disguise as Kaitlyn, C.C. was being driven through town, ending up at the warehouse. Being dragged it, C.C. was thrown to the ground.
"Let me answer your question, with one of my own: do you think I'm stupid girl?" Black King said with a menacing grin. "I know you're a spy, the question is who sent you?" C.C. took several steps back. "Obviously you're not with one of the gangs I sold the recipe for Refrain to."
"She's with me," Lelouch said firmly, making his appearance known.
"Y-you're Nobody?" Black King gasped horrified.
"One and only," The masked vigilante smirked. He jumped down from the rafters and pulled out his sword. "Now are you going to let my lovely assistant go, or do we have to get rough,"
"Are you that stupid, you're all by yourself," Black King cackled. He pulled out a hidden gun and shot C.C. several times. Lelouch's eyes widened in fear as C.C. had apparently fell to the ground dead. He silently prayed that her claims of immortality were true.
"Any final words fool?" Black King demanded as several of his armed goons arrived.
"Yeah, which one of you idiots forgot to pay the electric bill?" Lelouch smirked.
"That's my cue," Nunnally smirked from her spot in the Lair's computer room. She had already hacked the security feed to the Knight-Police, making them see a looped video. With a quick input of keys, the power was dead in the warehouse.
"It's Ninja Time," Mikey cackled from the rafters.
"I actually like that catchphrase better than Booyakasha," Leo said offhandedly. The four moved quickly and began to strike the various members of the organization.
An assortment quickly moved in to grab some extra weapons. However just as they reached the crates storing them, Kallen jumped down, tonfas arms. "Hi boys, let's play,"
"Booyakasha," Yoshikata smirked, quickly thrusting the blunt end of his weapon into the backs of three goons. Toru and Inoue knocked the others back, and pulled out the decoy Refrain bottles, switching them out as planned.
Several drew guns, only for them to be knocked away by Sayoko's fans. "I missed this, really I did,"
Seeing his men being beaten by Nobody, Black King quickly slipped away, intent on hopping into a Knightframe he store here for emergencies. However just as he was about to round the corner:
"Hi," Ohgi smirked, slamming the back end of one of his weapons into Black King's face.
"I don't want to say it," Tamaki began, as it was evident this was going too well, he was tempted to say this was going too well. But before anyone could do more, there was an assortment of rumbling. Everyone turned to see a Glasgow Knight police frame activating, a rifle in hand activated. It began to fire wilding into everything.
"Well that's unexpected," Mikey brought up.
"Indeed," Donnie agreed. Everyone scattered, as they did, Ohgi noticed something odd, a hole in the frame's cockpit area. It looked just big enough for the average human toddler to crawl through. The Glasgow continued firing, mowing down the multitude of criminals in the area.
"Aw crap!" Tamaki dove behind a wall as the mech continued its assault.
"Where'd this come from?" Chiba shouted over the gunfire. The machine stopped to reload.
"Guys, we got Camelot agents incoming, Suzaku included," Nunnally brought up over the comms. "Grab C.C. and get out of there,"
"Give us an ETA kid," Raph requested.
"With traffic, 15 minutes," She answered.
"I'll draw its fire, the rest of you either find something here to stop it or escape," Lelouch ordered.
"Not alone you're not," Leo said firmly.
"It's what family does," Donnie continued. The other turtles wordlessly agreed, just as the Glasgow attacked again, targeting the turtles directly.
"Come on, come on," Ohgi slashed open several crates, hoping to find something. However his efforts were in vain, as the Glasgow destroyed a support beam, causing part of the roof to collapse onto the turtles.
"MOVE!" Nobody ordered fearful.
Mikey grabbed C.C.'s fallen corpse, as the debris filled the area. Leo meanwhile grabbed Black King's unconscious body and tossed him out the window, right into the glow of the Military vehicles approaching. Everyone scattered outside, with Kallen and Ohgi by themselves in an adjacent alley.
"That was awful," Ohgi said sadly.
"It wasn't completely our fault, we did, just," Kallen began, trying to lighten the mood. She however became confused hearing some mechanical tearing. Both Ohgi and Kallen look in shock to see something ripping through the metal overhead door.
It was some kind of two-and-a-half-foot tall robot, likely whatever got into the Glasgow. The machine had a similar build to that of a chicken, but had a larger head, one with a serrated mechanical jaw capable of ripping the metal apart. The machine had a yellow v shaped eye, and a USB like tail, one that likely could extend. The robot walked out and bit downwards, digging quickly into the concrete and to escape.
"What the hell was that?" Kallen asked.
"You mean aside from the thing that probably screwed this mission over?" Ohgi began rhetorically. "Likely from Shredder,"
-The Lair-
C.C. was now resting comfortably in Lelouch's bed much to his anger, patched up and changed out of her bunny outfit as she now slept from her revival.
"I did doubt her immortality claims, but damn," Raph brought up as he and Mikey looked into Lelouch's room.
"What do you think she's going to do to Lelouch?" Mikey smiled.
"Don't know, but I kind of want in," Raph returned the grin.
"Some robot toy took over that Knightmare?" Donnie asked confused as the others regrouped in the Living area.
"My money's on Shredder, despite his murderous bravo, he does care about Japan too," Ohgi theorized.
"He was always reluctant to show compassion, but also liked to find weak points," Splinter added.
"So, do all your missions end like this, or did we get lucky?" Tamaki asked rhetorically to Lelouch.
"We shouldn't let one set back define us," Lelouch said agitated at Tamaki's skepticism. "We did go work tonight, taking down a major crime lord,"
"Yeah, it's bound to boost moral all over, not just for the Japanese," Chiba agreed. The decision was unanimous, errors in all, they did good today.
-Camelot HQ-
Suzaku was packing the last of his things up to go home, when the door behind him burst open. "Suzaku Kururugi, you're under arrest," Clovis said firmly as he was flanked by several agents and Purebloods.
"Under what charge?" Suzaku demanded.
"The murder of the crime lord, Brian Mallory, alias Black King, with this," Clovis held up a bag with a bloody shuriken one branded with a Foot Clan symbol.
And done, sorry this took so long, but I kind of needed to rework some of this after I read it over once or twice.
So next time: Suzaku is framed for the murder of Black King, and to be publicly executed for being a member of the Foot Clan. Deciding to help his former friend, Lelouch tries to mount a rescue, which made even more difficult when Shredder decides to crash the event too.
