Naruto was being led towards the abbey by Robbie, Nico and Illyana, with Blade close behind them.
"Wow, it kinda reminds me of auntie's place, only less jerks visiting" Naruto said, as he looked around at the grounds.
"Human or monster?" Blade asked curiously, as he had heard some stories about the group of monster hunters, that the Bloodstones had been part of.
"Humans. They tried to turn me into monster hunters like them, only I didn't want to hunt monsters" Naruto replied.
"You didn't want to hunt monsters?" Illyana asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Well, not for sport," Naruto said, wanting to clarify.
"So, you'd only attack monsters that would attack you or others first?" Robbie asked curiously
"Exactly. Like that bat devil asshole was gonna eat some kids dad, before I gutted him" Naruto said with a growl, as his eyes slitted slightly.
"He actually called himself the bat devil?" Blade asked with a hard tone at this.
"Yeah, why?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Sounds like he got lazy with naming himself to me" Nico said with a chuckle, as they entered the abbey building.
"Ok, show him to a spare room, while I report to the Caretaker, then meet me in the training grounds" Blade said to the teens, before he walked off.
"Follow us new guy" Robbie said, as he and the others led Naruto to a hallway, where there were several doors, and soon they came up to a door.
"This one's free," Illyana said simply, as she pointed at the door.
"Thanks. I'll try not to make too much noise" Naruto said with a smile at her, before he went inside with his bag.
Illyana rolled her eyes at this, before she turned to Nico and Robbie. "Make sure to lead him to the training grounds" she said to them, before she walked off.
After a few moments, Naruto came out of his room, with his shotgun ax in his hands. "Ok, let's go see this training ground. Where's Illyana?" he asked, as he looked around.
"She went on ahead" Robbie said, as he and Nico led the way.
"Well, isn't she a little ray of sunshine?" Naruto said with a tsk.
"She's just not used to you yet. She doesn't open up to people right away" Nico said, as she placed her staff on her shoulder, as they went outside and led Naruto to what looked like a training ground, with training dummies and a sparring ground, and across from the training ground, was a swimming pool.
"Huh, you guys have it all, don't you?" Naruto asked, as he looked around at the weight equipment nearby, where Illyana was lifting some small weights, while Blade stood at the sparring ground waiting.
"When we're not hunting monsters, we're training here. Now, let's see what you can do kid" Blade said, as he gestured to the sparing ground.
Naruto nodded at this, as he readied his shotgun ax.
"I'm guessing that's your go to, before you go all werefox?" Caretaker asked, as she made her presence known to the group.
"Uh, yes it is, miss?" Naruto asked the new woman curiously.
"Call me Caretaker kid. Hmmm, you at least carry yourself like a Bloodstone" Caretaker said, as she looked at Naruto with a critical eye
Naruto nodded at this, before he looked at Blade. "Ok, how are we gonna do this?" he asked curiously.
"We spar, until you can't stay on your feet" Blade said, before he charged at Naruto and swung a stake at him, which Naruto barely blocked with his shotgun ax.
"Shit, he's fast - Ack!" Naruto was saying, before Blade slugged him in the throat, then grabbed his arm and swung him before he slammed him on the ground.
"You may be a Bloodstone kid, but you need better instincts while in battle" Blade said, as he looked down at Naruto.
"This is supposed to be a spar, damn it!" Naruto wheezed out, as his throat healed, before he got up and swung his ax at Blade. But Blade chopped him in the chest and kicked him to the ground, before he placed his foot on his back.
"I think he's done," Illyana said with a scoff, not sounding impressed.
"You give up, kid?" Blade asked curiously, before he caught Naruto's arm, which he had tried to swing at him to get loose.
"Not a chance!" Naruto growled out, as his hair started to stand up and his fangs became more defined, while claws grew from his fingers and toes, causing his shoes to get ripped to pieces in the process.
"Alright, let's see what you got kid" Blade said with a smirk.
Naruto roared, as he transformed into his werefox form, and threw Blade off him before he grabbed him with his tails, then threw him at a tree nearby.
Blade flipped around and landed on the tree feet first cracking the tree, before he jumped and propelled himself at Naruto, a stake ready in his hand.
"Come on!" Naruto yelled with a mad grin, as Blade clashed with him and stabbed his hand with his stake.
"I hope he can heal" Nico said with a wince, seeing this.
"He has a demon's power, so he should be fine," Caretaker said, as Naruto swung his undamaged claw at Blade, which he dodged, before stabbing him in the stomach with another stake.
"Damn it! Hold still!" Naruto roared out in pain, as he held his wound.
"Kid stop, we're done for now" Blade said firmly.
"You have a talent kid, but you need to learn how to use your werefox form more" Caretaker said firmly.
"That and if you can't handle me when I'm sparring with you, then you won't have a chance against monsters and devils, who will play dirty kid" Blade said with his own firm tone .
"This is a spar?" Naruto said with a wince, as he pulled the stakes out of him, while he turned back to his human form.
"You have a devil's healing factor, so for you it is," Blade said firmly, as he put away his weapons.
"Yea, but it still fucking hurts" Naruto said with a groan, as he held his wounds. "And you owe me new clothes, old man" he groaned out, as he glared at Blade.
Caretaker rolled her eyes at this, as she waved her hands at Naruto, restoring his clothes to normal.
"Here, I'll help ya" Nico said, as she walked over and used a spell, to try and speed up his healing a bit.
Naruto soon stopped wincing and sighed in relief, as he smiled at Nico in thanks at this.
Nico smiled back at this. "Glad to help" she said, while the Caretaker approached with a juice bag and handed it to Naruto.
"Drink, it should heal you instantly" Caretaker said.
"Thanks" Naruto said, as he took a big sip, before his eyes widened and he spat out what looked like red liquid. "What the hell ba chan?!" he bellowed in shock.
Illyana looked at the spat out liquid on the ground, and her eyes widened at this, before she looked at Caretaker in surprise. "Blood?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.
"He has the heart of a devil in him, and devils heal from drinking blood. Plus, look at your wound kid, it's almost gone just from a taste" Caretaker said, as she pointed at Naruto's wounds which were practically gone now
Naruto patted himself down, and saw that his wounds were all healed. "Thanks….but a little warning next time" he said with a frown.
"He's not like the guys Blade hunts, is he?" Robbie asked with a raised eyebrow.
"No. From what I saw, he has complete control over himself, so rest easy. Also…." Caretaker was saying to Robbie, before she slapped Naruto on the back of the head.
"Oi! What the hell?!" Naruto yelled, as he glared at her while rubbing his head.
"I know what ba chan means kid, so watch it" Caretaker said with a light glare, as she went back inside.
Naruto grumbled at this, while Robbie chuckled a bit.
"You best watch yourself, Whiskers. Caretaker is a witch that has been around for almost as long as your fox friend. So she probably knows several ways to kill you, before you can get close to her" Illyana said.
"Does she know about Kurama?" Naruto asked curiously, as he didn't know a lot about his friend.
"Save it for later, kid. For now, you are gonna spar some more" Blade said firmly.
Naruto gave a groan at this, while Robbie and Nico both chuckled, as Illyana was silent.
"And one of you will be sparing with him next" Blade said firmly to the three teens.
Robbie and Nico then groaned at this, as they didn't want to spar with Naruto, since they didn't know if he could hold back with his transformation.
"I'll spar with him," Illyana said, as she walked into the arena, pulling out her broadsword and then turned to look at Naruto from across the sparring field.
Naruto nodded at this, before he looked for his dropped shotgun ax, which he spotted near Blade, who had just picked it up.
"You need a better holster, for when you go all monster, kid" Blade said, before he threw it to Naruto, which he caught.
"I'll get right on that," Naruto said, as he readied his weapon, as he looked at Illyana, waiting for Blade to start the match.
"Feel free to transform, if you feel overwhelmed" Illyana said, as she held her blade at the ready.
Naruto's eyebrow twitched at this in annoyance.
"And she's already won," Nico said with a sigh, seeing what her best friend was doing.
"Indeed" Robbie said with a nod, also seeing what Illyana was doing.
"Begin" Blade said firmly, from his position as referee.
Naruto aimed his shotgun at Illyana and fired at her, but she blocked with the flat end of her blade, which sent her back a bit.
Naruto then shot at her and slammed his foot into her blade, making her back up. Naruto then swung his ax at Illyana, as she dodged his wild swings.
Illyana's blade then glowed blue, before she swung it at Naruto, sending some energy at Naruto's feet, which opened up into a portal.
"What the hell?!" Naruto yelled out, as he fell through it, before it closed up.
It was silent for a few moments, while everyone looked around curiously.
"Uh Illyana, don't you usually just drop them from the air when you do that?" Nico asked her friend curiously.
"Usually, yes" Illyana said calmly, wondering what was happening.
(With Naruto)
Naruto was falling through the red void of Limbo, yelling in a panic, as he saw several monstrous figures.
"Hey, back off! I'm not afraid to tear you apart!" Naruto yelled, as he instantly transformed into his werefox form with a roar.
This caused the monstrous forms to roar in a panic.
["The Nine Tails?!"]
["Kill him, before he finds his way back to hell!"]
["Leave him in Limbo! Better than risking our very existence!"]
["I say that we should play paper-scissors-rock to decide what to do with him!"]
As the monstrous forms argued, a portal below Naruto opened, and he fell through it, before it closed up.
(Back at the abbey)
The portal appeared above the training grounds, and Naruto fell out of it and landed in a heap, only he was in his werefox form.
"Gah! Where the hell did you send me?!" Naruto yelled out, as he felt his fur on edge.
"You were only gone a few seconds longer than you should have kid, so relax," Blade said, as he approached Naruto.
"I can make portals to Limbo, which I use to get us around to wherever we need to go. What slowed you down?" Illyana asked curiously.
"Some monstrous forms were freaking out, calling me the Nine Tails, saying they needed to make sure I didn't make it back to hell or something" Naruto said, as he shook his fur, before he turned back to his human form.
"Limbo is a dimension that is closely connected to hell, my apologies" Illyana said, bowing her head at Naruto.
"Why didn't they freak out before, when we used a portal to bring him here to the abbey?" Robbie asked curiously.
"Probably because Illyana was with us. Remember, she's considered the ruler of Limbo" Nico said.
"Woah, really?" Naruto asked curiously, as he didn't expect this.
"Will he be a problem with portals from now on?" Blade asked Illyana curiously, as they depended on her to get around and they didn't need residents of hell giving them problems, because of Naruto.
"I will be sure to make it clear he is to be left alone" Illyana said firmly to Blade.
Blade nodded at this, before he turned to the others. "Ok, go get cleaned up, and go show the newbie where he can get some food," he said.
"Ramen please," Naruto said with a smile at this.
"Really dude? You don't want anything more filling?" Robbie asked curiously, as they all headed inside the abbey.
"Why would I? Ramen is the best. After all, it's the food of the gods" Naruto said with a grin.
As the teens went inside, Blade followed Caretaker into the observatory.
"So, what do you think of the new kid?" Caretaker asked Blade, wanting to get his thoughts.
"He has talent, he's a little rough around the edges, and he needs to learn how to fight more creativity with his werefox form" Blade said, as he crossed his arms, before he looked at the display table in the room and saw several marked areas on a map. "What's going on?" he asked her curiously.
"I have a mission for you and the others. A devil is causing some trouble in the midwest" Caretaker said, as she looked at the display.
"And you want the new kid to come with us?" Blade asked with a raised eyebrow.
"The kid can take care of himself well enough. Plus, you all can watch his back" Caretaker said.
"Have you got a location?" Blade asked curiously.
"Chicago, so dress warm," Caretaker said with a chuckle.
Blade nodded at this, before he left the room and found the four teens at the bar, eating together while chatting with each other.
"What's up Blade?" Nico asked curiously, looking up from her meal.
"I hope it ain't more training" Robbie said with a groan.
"Finish up your food, and suit up. We have a devil sighting in Chicago" Blade said firmly to the teens.
Naruto nodded at this, before he practically inhaled his ramen, then got up to leave to get ready with the others.
Soon, they were all outside, geared up and ready while walking out to the cliffside, where Illyana stood ready with her sword, which she swung, making a portal for them.
"Let's go. Be ready to fight, the enemy is agitated, according to Caretaker" Blade said, as he entered the portal.
"Well, here's hoping that means they are reckless" Nico said with a shrug, as they all followed him through the portal.
A few moments later, they walked through the other side, and came out standing on a rooftop in the city of Chicago.
"Wow," Naruto said with wide eyes, as he looked out at the city.
"Not used to the city, eh?" Robbie asked, chuckling a bit at this.
Naruto shook his head at this, while rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.
Suddenly, they heard a crash and a roar down in the city below.
"Make plans to look around later blonde, we got work to do" Illyana said, before she ran to the edge of the rooftop and looked over the edge of the roof.
The others all followed her and looked over the roof, and saw what looked like a large worm, with multiple tentacles, with four of them as legs and feet and two as arms. It had long black hair that covered its eyes, big lips and what looked like six udders on its belly.
"Oh great, tentacles. Hide the women" Robbie said with a chuckle, before Nico slapped him on the back of the head.
"The leech devil, so stay alert. I'll be observing you all, and stepping in if needed" Blade said firmly.
"Ok wow, and I thought the bat devil was ugly" Naruto said with a wince, seeing this devil as it roared at people running away.
"Where is the Nine Tails?! It killed my boyfriend!!!" the devil yelled in a female voice.
"...wait, the bat and the leech were doing the bedroom tango?" Robbie asked, as he slightly turned green.
"And I'm scared for life," Nico said, as she shuddered at this.
Illyana ignored this as she stepped off the rooftop and jumped down at the leech devil, her blade over her head, ready to swing down at the devil, which she did by swinging her blade through some of her tentacles, slicing them off.
"Aaaagggghhhh!!! Blasted human trash!" the leech devil roared at Illyana, who landed on a car nearby and glared at her
"Woah, is she always this hard core?" Naruto asked with wide eyes.
"Illyana takes the job seriously" Nico said, before her staff started to glow, and she flew down to help her friend.
"Yea, so let's not let her have all the fun" Robbie said with a grin, as his face started to steam and his skin burned away, revealing his skull engulfed in flames.
"…..way to make my transformation feel inadequate, buddy," Naruto said with a chuckle, as Robbie jumped down with his flaming chain, and swung it at the leech devil, slashing her with the burning sickle on the end, making her scream out in a rage.
"The Spirit of Vengeance?!" the leech devil yelled in shock.
"In the flesh….so to speak" Robbie said with a shrug.
"How dare you attack me?! You're a fellow minion of a resident of hell!" the leech devil yelled at Robbie.
"Ah, you're thinking of the other guy. Plus, I'm the Spirit of Vengeance lady. My job is to send ugly putas like you back to hell. So, you can either go willingly or me and my friends here can make you go back, kicking and screaming. Your choice" Robbie said.
"Then let's have at it!" the leech devil yelled, as she swung her tentacle down at Robbie which he dodged, destroying the street and sending rubble flying, as the fight officially started.
"Huh, they actually make a good team," Naruto said with a chuckle, seeing Robbie try to tie the leech devil down with his chain, while Illyana sliced at her tentacles and Nico fired some hexes at the devil.
"Don't forget whiskers, you're part of this team too" Blade said.
"Right, right. Oi, save some for me!" Naruto said, as he cracked his knuckles and jumped down, his fur growing and his ears growing pointy, while his tails went wild, as he fell towards the battle.
"Tentacles off my friends, you overgrown garden worm!" Naruto yelled, as he swung his claws at the swinging tentacles of the leech devil.
"There you are! You killed my love, before we could go on a massacre together!" the leech devil yelled at Naruto, as she was attacked on all sides by the others.
"Hey, he's the one who picked a fight with me," Naruto said with a smirk, as he cracked his knuckles.
"I DON'T CARE!" the leech devil roared out, as she swung her tentacles at him.
"Oi, watch the tentacles! I'm not into that kinky shit! Gahahahahaha!" Naruto cackled, as he ran away, with the devil close behind him.
"GET BACK HERE, YOU LITTLE SHIT!" the leech devil yelled.
"Any ideas on how to hit this bitch with a big attack?" Robbie asked, as Naruto dodged to the side, as he kept the leech devils attention on him, while the others regrouped to make a plan.
Illyana stepped forward at this, her sword ready. I'll help Naruto keep her distracted. Nico, you blind her with your witchcraft, giving Robbie the opening to hit her with his ride" she said.
"I like this plan" Robbie said with an audible grin.
Nico nodded at this, as her staff glowed purple along with her hands and eyes, showing she was ready.
"Come on, is that the best you - Hey!" Naruto was yelling, as he jumped around the leech devil, before what looked like pressurized air fired from one of the leech devils tentacles and shot off several of his tails, sending blood flying.
"Fuck! That hurts like a motherfucker!" Naruto yelled, as he grit his teeth in pain, before the leech devil grabbed him.
"Now I'll rip you apart, you - gaaaahhhhhh!!!!" the leach devil yelled, before what looked like a portal appeared in between her body and Naruto, cutting her tentacle off and freeing Naruto.
Naruto looked up at Illyana, who approached him and held out her hand to him.
"Thanks" Naruto said with a nod, as he was still wincing in pain from a few of his tails being cut off.
"On your feet, this isn't over yet" Illyana said, as Naruto took her hand.
"Aw, but I was just getting comfortable," Naruto said with a smile, as Illyana pulled him to his feet.
"I'll rip you apart, you -" the leech devil was saying, before what looked like a swarm of purple locusts swarmed around the leech devil, and when they disappeared, what looked like dark clouds were around her eyes.
Naruto looked up at the flying Nico and smiled at her, who smiled back and gave Naruto a thumbs up. "Ok, let her have it guys!" Nico yelled out, before she made some hex bolts, and threw them at the leech devil.
"You miserable witch! How dare you blind me!" the leech devil yelled, before she yelled out in pain, as she was attacked by Naruto's claws and Illyana's sword, sending blood flying.
"Where's Robbie? We could use some fire here" Naruto asked, looking up at Nico.
"Wait for it," Nico said with a smile at Naruto.
They all heard a horn honking at this and suddenly, Naruto saw what looked like a black 1969 Dodge Charger R/T, with the wheels on fire along with the engine, with Robbie standing on the hood, swinging his flaming chain above his head, as it was fast approaching the leech devil.
"Take cover!" Naruto yelled, as he grabbed Illyana, and took cover behind some rubble, while Nico made a magical protective barrier around herself.
"Join your boyfriend in hell!" Robbie yelled, before he jumped and his car slammed into the leech devil, causing a massive explosion of hellfire and the leech devil to scream in pain and agony.
When the explosion finally subdued, Naruto peaked his head from behind the rubble, to look at the carnage of burning devil flesh.
"Dude, how was your car able to drive itself like that?" Naruto asked Robbie curiously.
"Sorry, trade secret" Robbie said with a chuckle.
"Get off me, please" Illyana said with an annoyed tone.
Naruto blinked at this, before he looked down at Illyana and saw he was on top of her
"Oh, sorry," Naruto said, as he quickly got off her, and offered her a hand to help her to her feet.
"It's fine. You were trying to protect a teammate" Illyana said, as she let him help her up.
"Well, yea. I'm a jokester, but I have standards" Naruto said with a scowl.
"Good to know," Illyana said with a nod of respect.
"Not bad kids. A little collateral damage, but no lost lives" Blade said, as he jumped down and took a look around.
"A little collateral damage? I lost some tails, dammit!" Naruto yelled out.
"Oh relax, a little blood and you will be fine, right?" Robbie asked curiously.
"Yea, but this shit still hurts!" Naruto said with a growl.
Illyana sighed at this, and held out her arm, which had a small wound. "Here" she said to him.
"Uh…." Naruto said, not knowing how to respond to this.
"You are hurt, and you just need a little, right?" Illyana asked curiously with a raised eyebrow.
"Maybe it's because it's a pretty girl," Robbie said with a chuckle, before Nico elbowed him in the chest.
Naruto grumbled at this, making a mental note to prank Robbie later, before he licked at Illyana's wound, drinking some of her blood, feeling a rush of power, before in a burst of blood his tails grew back.
"There, now let's get back" Illyana said, as she took out her sword, ready to make a new portal.
Before she could make one however, everyone saw that some of the burning remains of the leech devil were still moving.
"The goddess will send worse than me after you, Nine Tails. The moon goddess will make sure your friends will suffer, for taking her pets power for yourself" the leech devils voice said from the burning remains of the leech devil, before it finally died.
Naruto's fur went on edge at this, as he growled, feeling anger at this threat, before Robbie patted him on the shoulder.
"Relax man, guys like that always talk trash like this. Don't let it get to you" he said.
Blade nodded at this, while Illyana made a portal appear. "Ok team, let's get back to base" he said to them.
Naruto nodded at this, as he slowly turned back to normal, while Nico restored his clothes.
"Not bad for your first day as a Midnight Sun, huh?" Nico asked with a smile, as they approached the portal.
"Yea. Auntie always said when it comes to monsters, expect the worst. So yea, today is a good day" Naruto said with a nod, as they all went into the portal, which closed behind them.

Inside a dark base, a white Zetsu was bowing to a white skinned woman, who was watching the fight between the leech devil and the Midnight Sun's.
"What news do you bring me?" the woman asked, not turning around.
"It would seem your pet has joined a team of monster hunters, led by….." the white Zetsu was saying, before pausing.
"Yes yes, out with it" the woman said impatiently.
"My goddess, it's…..Sera" the white Zetsu said.
The woman said nothing to this, before she clenched her fists at this and the room started to shake violently from her rage.
