As Bowser lay at the feet of the infamous, plumber, hero Mario, he thought to himself how he could truly defeat him once and for all. "I must gather every boss I've ever hired to destroy Mario!" Bowser roared with fury. There was just one tiny flaw. (Yeah, tiny.) Every boss that Mario defeated was never seen again! (Aside from him, and any others who appear in spin-offs or keep coming back somehow.) Bowser returned to his keep. Then, he was struck by inspiration! Actually, he was literally struck by a shooting star. "OW! What's the big idea? Who threw that?" "I was not thrown, I was shot from the far recesses of space!" "Who said that?" Then Bowser looked down and found a sinister looking star at his feet. "I am the star known as DarkVoidStar." the star replied quietly, but yet with a hint of evil. "Can you give me the power to bring back fallen bosses of Mario games past?" Bowser asked. "All that and much, much more!"
"Great! Then its settled! We now are allies!" Bowser said with great glee. The star glowed a blood-red glow and said with a masterful laugh, "HAHAHAHAHA! Indeed you are right!" But my power comes with a terrible price!" the star warned evilly. "I don't care! Just give me my power!" Bowser roared loudly. The star simply said gravely, but with evil, "If that is what you wish, then you shall receive! HAHAHAHAHA!" A dark and sinister blood-red glow surrounded Bowser's Castle. Then lightning struck it with great force and it started to grow. Along with Bowser and the star as well. "WATCH OUT MARIO! THIS IS THE END OF ALL AS YOU KNOW IT!
