The New Pokémon 4 Chapter 11 A Meeting of the Times

(Beheeyem Moves through the park and heads towards a carnival that is happening in town. Beheeyem hides among the dumpsters).
Beheeyem: Riolu and Porygon were last together on the highway. But where is the highway? (Beheeyem looks to his finger lights that glow and he deciphers the flashing light sequence). The Telekinesis maneuver is all we have! Full speed ahead! (Beheeyem sees the Octillery carnival ride). Thanks, inner voice! (Beheeyem Moves over to the ride and jumps up to the bottom of one of the cars). Hi-ya! (Beheeyem hangs on until he can see the highway). The highway. On my way, Riolu! (Beheeyem lets go and uses his Telekinesis Attack and begins flying towards the highway. His path gets blocked by a Round-Up carnival ride and gasps before he bumps into it. After bouncing off A Couple of more rides and carnival stands, he eventually lands in front of the port-a-potties only for an opening door to hit him upon opening. Tucker Foley, the carnival carney exiting the potty, sees Beheeyem unconscious and picks him up).
Tucker: Rad. (A Little later, he attaches Beheeyem to the wall of a carnival game, Crash Nebula, with a plastic tie and becomes the top prize). Hey! Step right up! Put your money down! Get yourself a real Beheeyem! Hey! Hey! (Beheeyem was in a Pickle now).
(Meanwhile, at a nearby Playground. Riolu is there playing with Janina, he was currently playing on the Swingset as pushes him. If Riolu was not worried about Porygon, he might for once be able to have a little fun playing with Janina. Janina's Mom is at a nearby Picnic Table watching them, until she calls for her daughter).
Janina's Mom: Janina, hone. Sunscreen.
Janina: Okay. Be right back, mister Aura Knight. (Janina pushes Riolu's Swingset high into the air and runs off to her mom. But when she is not looking, Riolu gets off the swing without anyone seeing him. Riolu sneaks off to go and save Porygon from Teddiursa and her Toxicroak, he goes and hides behind a Planters Box. He begins searching for any sign of the store he just came from).
Riolu: Okay. Antique store, antique store... (Riolu sees the Ferris Wheel clearly in the distance). Oh, that way! (He tries to leave the park on a Toy construction truck but gets blocked by a school bus that goes and parks in front of the entrance. He retreats to a playground sandbox as kids start to come out. An eager Pokémon pops out from the sand).
Diglett: Did you see 'em? What number are there? (Another Pokémon flies over and lands beside him).
Riolu: Whoa, whoa
Ribombee: We got a busload of campers! (A group of Falinks run over to the sandbox).
Falinks: Hut! Hut! Hut!
Falinks Leader: (As they jump in). Aha! Here they come!
Riolu: Huh?
Falinks Leader: Playtime, baby! (Riolu feels the ground shaking from all the footsteps of the incoming Kids storming into the playground from the bus come and book it. Riolu knows that if any of the kids see him, they will be all over him. And that is the last thing he needs right now. He hides behind one of the slides as a kid gets off. He sees the kids playing with a couple of Pokémon. One of the Pokémon on the slide starts climbing back up).
Zigzagoon: Oh, baby! It is a good day to play, huh? Am I right? (Zigzagoon laughs as it disappears from Riolu's sight. Just then, Riolu sees three familiar-looking flock run behind him as it goes across the playground).
Riolu: Huh? (Riolu thought he was seeing things but shrugs it off to focus on the goal of Saving Porygon. He sneaks through the playground but climbs under the merry-go-round where one of the kids is playing. But it is too late as She helps Riolu to stand up and introduces him to another Pokémon she is playing with).
Kid #1: Hello, Mr. Aura Knight. How are you today? Do you like riding Mudsdale? (As it turns out, that Pokémon was Delphox! To Riolu she has not changed a bit since they last saw each other all those years ago. Time seems to slow down as they look at each other while they play with him. This playtime's interrupted by another kid).
Kid #2: Wanna play on the swings?
Kid #1: (Leaves Riolu and Delphox behind). Wait for me! (Riolu starts to sit up, making sure it is Delphox).
Riolu: Delphox? (Delphox covers his mouth as other kids pass by. When the coast is clear, she pulls him to her side).
Delphox: Come on. (They sneak their way out the playground, hiding behind the wooden Planks of the Playground equipment, and into a couple bushes. From there, they get a proper reunion).
Riolu: DELPHOX?!
Delphox: Oh, I cannot believe it is you! You have not changed a bit. Literally. You are still the cute little Number One Pokémon Partner for Ash Ketchum. (Riolu is overjoyed at seeing Delphox again! He thought he would never see her again! And here she was, right in front of him!).
Riolu: Delphox!
Delphox: I never thought I would see you again! (Delphox sweeps a leaf from Riolu's shoulder and straightens his fur out. And they keep Overlapping with one another try to speak to the other).
Delphox: So, which kid is yours?
Riolu: So, which one is yours?
Delphox: None.
Riolu: No one. (Both of them are in shock to hear this from the other, especially Riolu). Wait, you are- you are a lost Pokémon? (Delphox returns the question back to Riolu).
Delphox: You are a lost Pokémon?
Riolu: That is awful.
Delphox: That is great. (Confused by what Riolu said). Huh?
Riolu: I mean great that you are out here. (He then sees a Stunky racing towards them). Stunky, Stunky, Stunky!
Delphox: Watch out! (Delphox stops it with her Stick/Wand. However, the Stunky looks to be making revving sounds).
Riolu: Huh? (It becomes clear that it is not an actual Stunky but rather a remote-controlled Stunky. The "Stunky" backs up).
Delphox: I told you not to drive so fast. You almost ran him over. (Delphox opens the side of the Stunky to reveal her three Wooloo controlling it. Seeing Riolu, they tackle him to the ground, excited to see him again).
Riolu: Oh, hey, guys! Whoa! Whoa! Hold on there! Okay! Oh, I missed you, too. If it is not Paige? (Wooloo glares at this wrong name). O'Hara? (Wooloo glares at its wrong name). Uh... Natasha? (Wooloo glares before Delphox corrects Riolu on their Names).
Delphox: Kathy, Annie, and Lansbury.
Riolu: Right! Right! Right! (The flock trots back to Delphox). Sorry, guys. (They glare at him again).
Delphox: Girls?
Riolu: Girls! Of course! (They disappointingly bleat at him).
Delphox: All right, all right. (Goes back over to Riolu as the Wooloo runs off). Okay, let us get a look at you. Do you need any repairs?
Riolu: Repairs? No, I am fine. (The flock brings Delphox a safety pin).
Delphox: Hey! Nice find, girls. (The Wooloo ran off again leaving Delphox and Riolu alone).
Riolu: Where did you get all this stuff?
Delphox: Here and there. You know, a couple of kids play rougher than others, so I try to be prepared. (This raises a question in Riolu's mind that makes him feel worried as he asks her).
Riolu: How long have you been out on your own? (Delphox gives Riolu a confident Smile as she answers his question).
Delphox: Seven fantastic years! (Riolu is in shock to hear this).
Riolu: (Shocked). Seven?!
Delphox: You would not believe the things I have seen. (The flock brings in a grape soda bottle cap to which she replies with). Uh, no. (The Wooloo walked off sadly to salvage more items. Then Delphox turns to a Small Multi-level Tent in the Back of the "Stunky" Van and knocks on it). Twigs.
Twigs: (from inside). Yo!
Delphox: Come on out! There is someone I want you to meet. (Walking out from the top level of the Tent is a Fennekin. A Well-Groomed Fennekin at that).
Fennekin: Be right down. (She walks back inside the tent and walks down a set of Stairs before arriving at the bottom floor and walks out of the tent and hops on Delphox's shoulders). What is the situation? We are headin' out of town or... (She sees Riolu and screams in shock). Whoa! Who is this?
Delphox: (whispering as the flock bring Riolu a plastic straw). Do you remember the rag Pokémon I told you about?
Fennekin: (whispering). The Aura Knight?
Delphox: Yep!
Fennekin: No way! (She laughs contagiously).
Delphox: (whispering as the flock bring Riolu a band-aid). Do Not stare. (whispering).
Fennekin: I am totally Starin'. (They go over to Riolu).
Delphox: Riolu, this is Fennekin. (Fennekin laughs again).
Riolu: Oh, hi, Fennekin. (Fennekin notices Riolu's emanating Aura Power).
Fennekin: Whoa, you did not tell me he was an Aura Pokémon. (She hops onto Riolu's shoulders, sporting a set of shades). Howdy, Riolu. Officer Fennekin, I run Pokémon Showcases from Kalos Region. Yes, Performances. Fashion Shows, Alongside Pancham, Eevee, Sylveon. (As Fennekin talks, the three Falinks Leaders from earlier head towards Delphox).
Falinks Leaders: Hut! Hut! Hut! Hut! Hut! Hut! Hut!
Delphox: Falinks! Where are you headed?
Falinks #1: Falinks just heard there is a birthday party at the playground on Main Street.
Falinks #2: Rumor has it, they got two pinatas.
Falinks #3: That could be 20 to 30 kids.
Delphox: Nice! (High-fives Fennekin).
Falinks #1: Oh, yes! Falinks', they play with him! (Two of the Falinks Leaders high-five each other while the other one is still hanging). You all in?
Delphox: You bet! Riolu, you are gonna love this! (Riolu is Obviously not prepared for this as tells Delphox).
Riolu: Uh, no, I cannot, (saluting). Sir. Delphox, I need to get back to my kid. (The Falinks are all in shock to hear this from Riolu).
Falinks Leaders: What?
Falinks #1: You got a kid?
Riolu: Yes.
Falinks #1: Way to beat the odds, soldier. (The two Falinks high-five Riolu while, once again, the other one is still hanging). Meet you at the playground, Peep. Falinks's got a pinata party to crash. All right, move out. (The two Falinks Leaders head out. After a bit of waiting for a high-five, the other Falinks joins them).
Falinks Leaders: Hut! Hut! Hut! Hut! Hut! Hut! Hut!
Delphox: (A little surprised). So, you are, uh, with a kid? It is not Ash, is it?
Riolu: No, no, no, no. He went off to college. But he gave us Shannon. Aw, she is just-
Delphox: (Delphox's face lights up). Do you have a little girl?
Fennekin: No way!
Riolu: Yes, yes. It is why I am out here. Her other Pokémon is stuck in this antique store, (Delphox's smile fades having an idea of where this is going) and I need to...
Delphox: Second Chance Antiques? We know that store.
Riolu: That is great. That is great! If you know the store, you could really help me find him... (Delphox crosses her arms with a look of disappointment on her face as she makes her position on this clear).
Delphox: No way. We wasted years there, just staring out the window from a Platform, collecting dust. (Riolu feels for Delphox and Fennekin having to go through that and understands why she is like that).
Riolu: Oh, Delphox that is awful. But I Do Not have a choice, I need to get that Pokémon from Teddiursa.
Fennekin: Woah. Steer Clear of that weirdo. (Delphox wants to help Riolu, but she cannot and tells Riolu what he should do).
Delphox: If I were you, I had cut my losses and go home.
Riolu: But Shannon needs him to get through kindergarten. (Delphox begins walking back to the "Stunky" Van as Fennekin jumps back to its tent. Delphox brushes off Riolu's worries).
Delphox: Oh, kids lose Pokémon every day. Shannon will get over it. (Riolu cannot believe that Delphox is not willing to help him here).
Riolu: No, no, but... you see... Shannon needs him just like... May needed you. (The flock gets excited by May's name as they come back). Aw, no. Sorry, girls. May's not here. (The Wooloo bleat sadly at hearing that, while Fennekin perks up at hearing May's Name).
Fennekin: May? Delphox, I did not know you had a kid.
Delphox: That was a long time ago. (Riolu sits on the Stunky while Fennekin listens).
Riolu: Oh, Delphox's kid was somethin' special. She was the cutest thing, but so afraid of the dark. (Delphox dismisses that but is hiding a small smile of Nostalgia as she remembers those good old days with Ash, May, Cheryl and all their friends from back in the day).
Delphox: It was just a phase.
Riolu: Oh, you were not there in the beginning. Hearing May cry each night, it broke every Pokémon's heart. (Delphox looks down sadly since she never knew that before). And then, Delphox came into the room. Her lamp was the only thing that made May feel safe. Mom would let her keep Delphox on all night.
Fennekin: Ha! Who knew you were such a softy?
Riolu: And May would fall asleep with her hand resting on Delphox's feet. (Delphox throws a bit of elastic at him remembering how Stubborn and Determined he was back then and still is now).
Delphox: Okay! Okay, I get it.
Riolu: Delphox, my kid really needs this Pokémon. (Delphox looks down thinking over what Riolu is asking of her). Will you help me? For old times' sake. (Delphox sighs reluctantly).
Delphox: (giving in). All right, all right.
Riolu: (running to hug Delphox). Thank you! Oh! Oh, thank you!
Fennekin: All right. Guess we are doing this. (Puts on her shades). Let us ride! (The gang hops inside the Stunky).
Delphox: Second Chance Antiques, and step on it. (Delphox closes the Stunky, and it drives off to the antique store to hopefully Save Porygon before it was too Late).
