Forever
Your eyes flash as he laughs
His friends jeer at the way you stomp your foot
You tell him lies, but you know
His midnight hair makes you weak.
He cracks your armour, found his way in
Crimson cheeks, like the colour around a cut
Spread like a storm across your face.
Spinning on your heels,
You never like him, never understood the point
The sun shines slippery light onto the pond
Feet rush in behind you, and you already know
As he grabs your hand
Meets your gaze,
An unspoken promise
and you know its
Forever
