Revenge Is Sweet Until It Isn't-Ch 14
After a quick shower and getting dressed Derek and Penelope walked hand in hand out of her apartment and headed toward the elevator, when they stepped on Penelope said, "I still can't believe that we're getting married today". He turned to face her, he leaned down and brushed his lips against hers and said, "well it's really happening sweetness, starting today you are Mrs. Derek Morgan so you better get use to it" causing them both to laugh as they stepped out of the elevator and headed toward his waiting truck.
Savannah decided to take a walk, it was another beautiful day and she still had a lot to think about, maybe Shauna and Sam were right, maybe she should have the baby, true, that the baby isn't Derek's but what if the baby she's carrying now is her only chance at being a mother. She sighed and said, "I want to be a mother, it's just that since the day I met Derek I thought that he'd be the father to my children, that we would get married and have a wonderful life together and that would have happened if it wasn't for Penelope Garcia".
She hadn't realized how long she had walked until she realized she was downtown, she laughed and said, "way to go Vannah", she then looked up and saw Derek and Penelope walking hand in hand into the court house. She said, "now just what are they doing?" as she slowly followed them, she wanted to know what was going on but she didn't want to be seen while doing it.
Once she got inside she saw not only Derek and Penelope but the rest of their little family, she said, "surely they aren't" and before she could finish that thought she saw them all walking toward the judges chambers. She shook her head and said, "on no you don't" as she continued following them, how could this be happening, how could Derek be marrying that fat cow, they belonged together, her and Derek not Penelope and Derek.
She stopped outside the judges chambers and listened as the judge said, "congratulations you two, you make an amazing couple", she then heard Derek and Penelope in unison say, "thank you sir". She stood listening as the judge said, "alright let's get this started", Savannah sighed and shook her head as the judge said a few more words as he readied to start the ceremony.
Derek looked at Penelope as the judge said, "do you Derek take Penelope to be your lawfully wedded wife, do you promise to love, honor, cherish and keep only to her for as long as you live?", Derek smiled and said, "I do". The judge then looked at Penelope and said, "Penelope do you take Derek to be your lawfully wedded husband, do you promise to love, honor, cherish and keep only to him for as long as you live?", she took a deep breath and said, "I do".
The judge then said, "if their is anyone that can show just cause why these two can't be lawfully joined, let them speak now or forever hold their peace?", this was her chance, this was her chance to stop the wedding but she couldn't. She stood listening as the judge said, "well then, by the powers vested in me by the state of Virginia, I now pronounce you husband and wife", the judge grinned and said, "Derek, you may kiss your bride".
Derek then turned to face her and said, "I love you baby girl" and then seconds later his lips descended on hers in a passionate kiss, they pulled apart to the judge saying, "ladies and gentlemen it gives me great pleasure to introduce to you Mr. and Mrs. Derek Michael Morgan". Savannah wiped the tears away as she heard the family congratulating Derek and Penelope on their marriage, she then turned around and headed toward the exit and as she stepped outside she said, "you have him now cow but don't worry you won't have him for long, I promise you that I will pay you back for ruining my life".
She got outside and hid and watched as the clan walked out of the courthouse laughing and talking, she could see how happy Derek and Penelope were and she swore that no matter what she had to do that their happiness wouldn't last. Savannah rubbed her stomach and said, "don't worry little one they won't get away with destroying the family I had planned for us, I promise you that they will pay for what they've done" and then an evil grin covered her lips.
Savannah sighed said, "enjoy yourselves for now because soon, ohhhh so soon your dream life will turn into a nightmare and that is a promise"
