In Sally's locker room, calm slowly returned after Cuphead was freed, tied up and with a cloth on his mouth in the closet. His statement had frightened Lucifer very much, so he disappeared without saying anything. Everyone was more than confused about this and did not know what to do.
"So like now you got pulled from behind into the darkness and only saw two yellow eyes before you got tied up?" Cuphead nodded when Cuppy asked him that. That didn't exactly cheer the others up. Nor did it when Lucifer reappeared in a puff of smoke, holding the slighty burned note in his hand. His wrathful face was not to be overlooked. "He's got Alicia" he said, dropping the note as he clenched his hand into a fist "This..." he covered his mouth before continuing "The devil took my Alicia!" the rage slowly growing inside him, and he ignored Sally staring at him in fright. She didn't know he was the devil. But probably not the devil from this world. But the one from the world Cuppy came from.
But what did they have to do now? Alicia was in the underworld and would certainly be closely guarded. So just going to the underworld would be stupid. Cuphead still had the chalk from Quadratus with which he could conjure up the elevator, but he still didn't want to risk it. There was a knock at the door. Everyone looked at the door from which two familiar faces appeared. "Hey guys," Varian said as he looked out the door. They all looked at him with different expressions.
From joy to fear, everything was there. "Why the facial expressions?" asked Eira who was confused. She had never seen the others like this before. But something was not right. Once why were the three of them here backstage? Why did the three cups have to cry so suddenly, Where was Alicia? and why was the devil suddenly standing in the room? Well, that's why Varian stood protectively in front of Eira while he drew his weapon. The OmniWrench.
Cuppy noticed this and tried to stop Varian from doing something wrong "Hey wait!" he said and faced the fox with his arms stretched wide. "Cuppy are you crazy that's the devil he-" "Yes but not the devil from this world!" he interrupted him. Eira, standing behind Varian, took a closer look at Lucifer. She saw the differences. "Varian Cuppy is right" he looked at her confused until he saw the difference.
So slowly he lowered his gun and calmed down again. But still he wondered where Alicia was. She was the only one not in the room. So where was she? His question was more or less answered when he looked at the floor in front of him where the note Lucifer had dropped lay. He was still absent minded and fighting his anger not to burst into flames. Varian lifted the note and read it aloud.

Then she is all mine and will stay with me forever.

Now the others understood the rage Lucifer had that was slowly building up inside him. "We have to save Alicia," said Eira, who was ready to safe her. The three cups agreed with her. They wanted to help too. Blood was also ready but Lucifer was against it. "No, I'm going to go and get her back," he said, walking over to his trident that was leaning against the closet where Cuphead was locked up.
He took it and was about to teleport away when he saw the others looking at him in confusion. "Wait, you really want to save Alicia without our help?" Cuphead asked him, but Lucifer ignored him and disappeared in a cloud of smoke. The others were only more confused than before. Now no one knew what to do. Now, in addition to Alicia, Lucifer was also gone. The group was now alone and did not know what to do.
In the Devil's bedchamber two of the finest Demons appeared. One held the sack in his hand with Alicia in it while the other opened it gently from below with his claws while catching Alicia with the other, who was still in a deep sleep thanks to a sleep gas from another Demon so that she could not escape. The hand of the demon was enormous. Alicia was quite small compared to it. The size of a bed could best describe the size of the hand Alicia was lying in.
The demon holding Alicia in his hand went to the bed where he lifted the blanket before gently laying Alicia on the bed so that she lay with her head on the pillow before covering her with the blanket. Both demons looked at her more closely. They knew why the devil was so interested in her. She was something special. She was both a human and a demon. A hybrid. That was extremely rare. And yes she looked beautiful.
She radiated a strong aura. Even stronger than the devil. No normal demon has such an aura like her. To have something like her in the underworld would be more than good. Not only to have her here would be good because the coronation still includes the blood ritual. Through the ritual, her blood would be combine with the devil's, which would lead to him getting her powers and her staying with him forever. She could not go anywhere without him.
But she would quickly get used to it. Both demons left her alone in the bedchamber. She would wake up soon anyway.
Her eyes opened slowly as Alicia felt that she was lying on something soft. It felt like a pillow. A large pillow to be more precise. The same pillow her grandmother used to have when she slept with her as a small child. Or was it Sally after all? Hard to say, she didn't remember. She can hardly remember anything from her childhood. No matter what it was she wondered where she was
She didn't want to open her eyes, but she already suspected where she was. In his bedchamber. Oh man, and I just got used to living without fear again. Since her husband was reunited with her, she had already forgotten the devil from this world. She knew that he was interested in her. She also knew that he wanted to crown her. But then she would be united with him forever.
One thing she didn't like to do. The devil here would not leave her alone. She would be like a trophy. So it wouldn't matter if she opened her eyes or not. She is unfortunately in the place she didn't want to be. Still, she knew one someone just ran over her cheek. The hand that was slowly running over her cheek belonged to none other than the devil. Her ears lowered as she felt this, while her pupils became smaller and smaller with fear. His fur touched hers while his hand slowly went from her cheek down to her belly where he slowly pulled her to him so she couldn't escape his embrace. "Wake up my love" he whispered into her ear.
"I know you're awake" her heart was now beating even harder than before while her breathing became heavier. She was about to have a panic attack. A violent panic attack if the devil hadn't tickled her behind her wolf ears. Oh no please don't scratch there! she squinted her eyes because she knew what would happen if he scratched behind her ears. She would be even more weakened than before and he could do whatever he wanted with her.
She calmed down but still did not feel well. "Finally I have you back with me where you belong my love" he continued to caress her tenderly while he slowly lifted her and laid her down in his cross-legged position so that she was forced to stare into his yellow eyes. "Please... let me go" she begged him with fear in her eyes. But the devil only smiled before lifting her chin and slowly approaching her with his head so that both lips almost touched. "Oh why should I do that my dearest?" his eyes stared into hers "You are mine and nobody else's!" that didn't really please her.
"Well then the coronation will soon begin my love and I won't leave you alone until then so you won't escape me again" he lifted her chin further before kissing her. Alicia felt it and felt disgusted. She tried to get away from him but he held her tight and pushed her closer so he could kiss her more. She knew she couldn't do anything about it and put up with it for now. How she should escape was the more important question. While the devil was busy making out with her, Alicia looked around the room. Next to the bed she was lying on with the devil there was a closet, two bedside tables and several curtains behind which there seemed to be windows. So she could escape over them if she fired her trident at the windows.
"I think I'll pass on the crown" she said as she pushed him away causing the devil to land on the floor with a loud Thump while she summoned her trident and ran towards on curtain she opened. Damn it! unfortunately for Alicia, the Finest Demons were standing right behind the window from which she was about to escape. And oh boy was Alicia scared when she saw the Finest Demons. She kept her distance from the Demons while clutching her trident tightly not knowing that the devil slowly got up from the floor again.
"Do you really think Alicia I would let you escape so easily?" said the devil while laughing nastily. Alicia turned to him and guessed what he was going to do to her when he slowly approached her. "You will go with me to the Ceremonial Plaza so that we can both be crowned immediately!" with these words the windows behind Alicia shattered as the Finest demons and reached for her. She was trapped again and tried to free herself from the grip of the Gorilla Demon. Her trident fell out of her hands and dissolved into particles before it could even touch the ground. "Let me go right now!" she said annoyed, but the demon ignored her orders.
He went with her deeper into the underworld "Take her to the ceremonial place and make sure she doesn't escape on the way there!" said the devil who held his trident and disappeared in a cloud of smoke. Alicia knew that she was now in an even worse situation than the times before when the devil had kidnapped her. His demons were anything but weak. They were not only muscular and strong, but also very loyal to their master.
Alicia felt the ground shake as the demon moved forward even though she was in the demon's hand. She tried to free herself several times by moving back and forth, trying to wriggle out of its grip. But the grip was too strong. Damn why am I so weak? She couldn't free herself and had to watch how she was getting closer and closer to the Ceremonial Plaza where the devil was already waiting for her. Behind him was a pedestal on which were the two crowns, two bags that looked like blood transfusion bags. One was empty and the other was filled with a black liquid
And a "syringe!" Alicia suspected what he was up to and wanted only one thing. Get out of here as fast as possible! She was not afraid of syringes. Not even as a child but she knew what he was going to do with it. He wanted to have her blood to get the same powers that Lucifer had.
Now she really tried to free herself. Come what may. With effort she managed to free her right arm and used her ice powers to thunder a blast of ice into the Gorilla Demon's face. The demon screamed in pain and let go of her to remove the ice from his face. Alicia luckily landed on the ground with her feet and immediately changed into her wolf form. The rest of the demons and the gorilla demon noticed that Alicia was threatening to escape and got in her way, but she was smart and ran under the demons' legs to get as far away from the devil as possible who was on fire again.
Yes he was not going to let Alicia get away this time. While he watched her dodge the rest of the demons, behind him appeared an army of Imps and Demons formed. He took a deep breath "CATCH HER AND BRING HER TO ME!" the devil roared in a demonic voice as all the demons and Imps ran after Alicia.
She turns around when she hears the roar. Her wolf ears dropped again and her pupils shrank as she saw the army of Imps and Demons coming after her. In the middle stood the flaming devil with his trident. Oh boy now I'm really in trouble! Alicia knew what would happen if she was caught. She tried to keep a great distance from the army and herself to find a way to escape from the underworld. Her wolf paws gave her the speed she needed to escape from the army's sight. Behind a corner she turned sharply before she looked behind the corner and saw the army running past her. That reassured her. Relieved and out of breath, she sat down and thought she was safe, but she was wrong when suddenly an arrow landed in the wall next to her head and almost caught her.
"Well look who came crawling!" Alicia knew the voice and rolled her eyes in annoyance. She looked at the raised platform in front of her and saw five familiar faces. They were her rivals Silk, Vespae, Dayju, Caterina and Scorpina. All five of them were facing her and it looked like they wanted to fight her too. And that exactly in a not suitable time while she was just on the run.
Caterina drew her bow as she aimed at Alicia "Say goodbye would-be queen!" the arrow fired from her bow and flew at Alicia with an insane speed.
"With this chalk, now draw a square" Cuppy said while Cuphead drew a square on the ground in the backyard of the theater that lit up. "Do I really have to recite the rest of it?" asked Cuppy, annoyed, already feeling almost like a parrot.
Blood shook his head, which reassured the young cup while Cuphead finished with the square and thought about what he had to do next to make the elevator appear. "Uh, what should I do again after I draw the square?" he asked. The others continued to think until Varian remembered. "The inscription! You have to read the inscription!". Cuphead was still unsure and looked at the chalk, but there was nothing there. Only when he turned it was there something written on the chalk.
"Okay!" he cleared his throat before speaking the sentence aloud. Everyone waited patiently. "Surface world, I'll see you later" the chalk lines began to glow slightly as Cuphead said the phrase "Down I go in this elevator" light fog appeared around the group while the ground began to shake slightly. Eira held onto Varian while Mugman and Cuppy hid under Blood's cout. The shaking continued until the fog disappeared and flames appeared followed by the elevator. The door of the elevator opened and waited only for the others to enter. Blood, Varian and Eira were the first to enter, as they were the largest of the group, before the three cups entered and Cuppy pressed the elevator button to go to the underworld.
The door closed and the elevator disappeared in flames along with the others. They were on their way to the underworld. Even if Eira and Mugman didn't want to go there again, they had no other choice. Alicia was on her own and leaving her alone down here would not be good. That's why they both decided to overcome their fear.
The elevator came to a stop and opened its door. Blood was the first to look outside for a possible threat. They had to be even more careful now than before. "Okay, I don't see anyone far away, so we can go and look for Alicia," the wolf said as he looked down to the three cups looking at him. All three nodded and got out of the elevator followed by Blood, Varian and Eira. However, there was a problem. The elevator suddenly disappeared when Eira stepped out of it.
They were now trapped here in the underworld unless they could find a way to get back to the surface. Be it through the help of Alicia or Lucifer. But until then, they had to find them first. And that was easier said than done. They found themselves in the devil's throne room. And a look outside of this revealed to them that the underworld was not exactly small. It was huge with its mountains, volcanoes and lava lakes in which snake-like demons swam. It was like looking for a needle in a haystack, or rather looking for hay in a Needle Pile? Well, it was the underworld.
Well, the others didn't have to look far because Alicia was very close to the throne room and ran further away but now not in her wolf form but in her normal form as a demon. She walked through the narrow corridors and hid in an Gap in the wall while the rivals searched for her. "Where is she?" asked Silk who had completely lost sight of Alicia. "Tell me, don't you ever use your nose? Track her down like a normal dog would or are you too stupid for that too?" said Caterina who was standing next to her.
Silk growled when she heard this insult. "Oh, we're back to the topic of cats being better than dogs?" she asked them through gritted teeth. "Well, we felines are stronger than you canines in the course of evolution" Caterina showed off her claws while Silk stared at her angrily "Oh yeah? I don't think you felines could live in a pack that has more than one male!" the others just shook their heads and tried to get the two apart before the argument escalated. Alicia took advantage of this chance to escape further. She ran down the corridor and saw another Gap where she could hide. Finally arriving in the gap after seeing a shadow of a demon that disappeared, Alicia decided to heal the wound she had on her shoulder. "Ah, it burns!" she said softly so that no one would hear her.
Caterina had caught her on the shoulder with the arrow as Alicia ran away. She flew to the ground because of it and was back to her normal form while the rivals approached to give her the death blow. But Alicia quickly got up again and ran away before they could do so. She pulled out the arrow and threw it into a lava lake so that Silk could not pick up her scent. But the wound still hurt and needed to be healed. "All right then, let's do it". Alicia's left hand, which was placed on the spot where the wound was, glowed green. The wound was healing and the place looked as if no arrow had hit her there.
The pain also slowly went away. But only slowly. But Alicia was not in a hurry at the moment. The rivals had lost sight of her, as had the devil's army and the devil himself. She also had to focus a lot on healing. So if someone would come now and take her to the devil, the wound would open up again. And she did not want that. But the silence worried Alicia a bit. She did not hear the rivals arguing with each other, nor the army, nor the roar of the devil. Something is not right here. Alicia took her hand away from the wound and slightly peeked her head out of the Gap to look for possible dangers.
She saw no one far and wide. That was a good sign, but Alicia used her wolf nose to smell danger. But she smelled nothing and was relieved. She stepped out of the Gap and was about to go further when she noticed that the wound was opening again. She groaned in pain and heard someone approaching her. Judging from the shadow, it was the devil. But which devil? The one from this world or Lucifer? Alicia didn't want to find out and looked around for an escape route. But with the wound on her shoulder, she couldn't transform without tearing it open further. So she was trapped in the place where she was right now.
The shadow came closer and closer. You could hear the footsteps and the heartbeat of Alicia. She was about to go back into the Gap when she stopped. The devil's foot had white claws and not yellow ones. Also the fur was darker. There was no doubt that this was Lucifer. And it was him, too, as he peeked around the corner and grinned at her. "Alicia, there you are!" he said happily, walking over to her while Alicia was more than happy to see him again. She let him hug her while she removed her hand from her shoulder where the wound was to hug him tightly as well.
But the wound hurt again and Alicia let go of him while she put her hand back on her wound and tried not to scream. Lucifer sensed that she was not well, "Alicia dearest, what's wrong?" he asked her, but she didn't answer him because the pain was too much for her to bear. Lucifer saw the blood on her hand and took it away to have a closer look at the wound on her shoulder. "Who did this to you?" he asked and looked into her pain-filled eyes. Alicia took a deep breath before continuing while a tear ran down her eye, "Caterina," she said before covering her mouth again in pain.
"What she exists here too?" he asked her, startled. Alicia just nodded while another tear ran down her cheek which Lucifer wiped away. He knew she was in a lot of pain and decided to heal her wound while pulling her closer to him. His hand was over her wound and the palm glowed green as the wound slowly healed and the pain went away. Alicia was slowly getting better and better which calmed Lucifer down a lot. "I'm glad I found you so quickly my love" he said while he kissed her.
He didn't want to leave her alone until her wound was completely healed. "I don't want to stay here" she said and closed her eyes "The devil wants to do something with my blood or something I don't know" Lucifer's eyes widened when he heard that "What do you mean?" he tried to concentrate on the healing while looking at Alicia who opened her eyes. "On the way to the coronation, I saw a empty syringe on the pedestal where the crowns were and two blood transfusion bags" said Alicia. Lucifer suspected what the devil was up to and didn't hesitate long and took Alicia in his arms when he finished healing her wound.
Alicia, however, was confused "Wait, what's the hurry?" she asked him in confusion as she looked into his yellow eyes that showed concern. He was worried about her, she could feel it. "We must prevent him from mixing your blood with his," he said and started walking towards the throne room. "What do you mean with prevent mixing my blood with his?" Alicia was confused. She wanted nothing to do with the devil, let alone mix her blood with his. She had never donated her blood in her life. She always wanted to, but unfortunately she never had the time.
"What I mean is that when your blood mixes with his, you won't be a real human anymore, you'll become a toon" What?! Alicia was now more than shocked by this. "And if that happens you can't return to your world and are trapped here while the entire world dissolves" Wait what? "What do you mean with dissolve?" she asked him while Lucifer stopped and looked into her eyes.
He knew he had to tell her. She probably would have found out soon anyway. "You know back then when you opened the book for the first time how almost all the pages were blank, right?" Alicia nodded. Yes the pages were blank and she then ended up in the book and had to write down the Story of the book with the two brothers so that the pages were described with pictures and text. But what did that have to do with her blood?
"Well you as a human you are not bound to the book like us toons" he paused for a moment while Alicia looked at him with a confused look on her face "Since you wrote the story in the book the magic in the book can only live on if you are a human and not a toon" "So you're telling me if I become a toon that..." he nodded. So she knew what would happen. If she became a Toon, the magic of the book would slowly disappear and the pages would become blank again.
This would reset everything and judging from the expression on Lucifer's face, Alicia would no longer exist since she could not return to her world. It would not matter in which world she would be. Whether in the book or in the show. Since it was through the book that she and Cuppy entered the world of the Cuphead show in the first place. She would be extinguished as if an eraser would erase her.
That was one more reason to escape from the Underworld but Alicia wondered one more thing "Did you come alone or are the others here too?" she asked him. Lucifer stopped to look at Alicia in confusion "I came alone" he said "Why the question honey?" Alicia said nothing but pointed in the distance to the throne room from where the others were coming and approached the two.
Lucifer was not very enthusiastic about the others following him. He wanted to save Alicia alone so there would be less stress. Yes, he knew Alicia more than enough and knew that stress is not good for her. Especially not as a student. Alicia, on the other hand, was glad to see the others again. These noticed the two and went immediately to them so that they were reunited. "Alicia!" the three cups shouted, clinging to her leg like three little kittens when Lucifer set her down on the ground.
The others also approached and were just as happy as the three cups to see Alicia again. Even if it was only two hours that Alicia was separated from the others. But to her it seemed more like a day. Well, maybe it was because it was never night in the underworld? Or one generally never knew what time it was. But Alicia didn't care, she was reunited with the others and wanted to go back to the surface.
But unfortunately, Alicia learned that the elevator was no longer there when the others got out of it, Alicia got scared again. The elevator was the only escape route she knew to escape from the underworld. There was no other way. Or was there? Now she and Lucifer could teleport away without using their tridents. But could they teleport the others with them? Well, there was only one way to find out.
The others knew that there was no other way than this. Alicia and Lucifer prepare to teleport "Are you ready darling?" he asked Alicia. She nodded "You could say that" she said slightly nervously. Alicia had never done anything like this before. She knew that it would not be easy. So she decided to teleport only the three cups with her while Lucifer teleported Blood, Varian and Eira with him.
Both demons focused on the same target. Sally's locker room. That was where Alicia wanted to go. But suddenly Alicia felt her fur stand on end and she got goose bumps. She was confused why she suddenly got goose bumps until she saw the devil from far away. The others realized that there was a tension between Lucifer and the devil. Therefore, the three cups, the wolf and both foxes took distance while Alicia clawed at Lucifer while he slowly scratched her back.
The devil was coming closer and closer and was angrier than ever. His eyes looked from the others to Lucifer. Lucifer noticed that the devil was staring at him from afar and looked at him grimly. "Alicia stay very close to me" he said while staring angrily at the devil. Alicia nodded and stayed with him come what may while the devil approached and both demons faced each other.
They both looked at each other angrily. Well, the devil was angry while Lucifer paid no attention to him. Alicia, however, was threatening to have another panic attack. Her heart was racing harder than normal, she was breathing heavily and she could only hear her heartbeat while everything else sounded as if she had earplugs in her ears.
"So you're the one who has it in for my wife and queen several times over!" Lucifer growled while continuing to caress Alicia tenderly. She calmed down a bit but only a little bit. But the devil was not very happy about the statement Lucifer had told him. "Pah! You have confused something, my good one, because Alicia is my wife and will be my queen!" the devil explained him in a not so gentle voice. Alicia clawed at Lucifer because of that.
They both saw it and looked down at her because of it. Alicia already suspected what the devil was up to when she looked into his face. "She's rightfully mine!" he said as he grabbed her and pulled her to him while not so gently running his hands through her hair. "Isn't that right, my love?" he asked her as he lifted her chin so she could look into his eyes. But Lucifer didn't put up with that and took Alicia to himself. She landed with her face in his soft belly where she felt more comfortable if it wasn't for the devil who threatened to pull her back to him. Lucifer, however, prevented this and gently pulled her arm again.
This went back and forth several times until Alicia felt that she was stuck between the bellies of the two devils who ignored her but were now staring angrily at each other. It felt a little strange, but at least Alicia was happy not to be tossed back and forth like a stuffed animal. But unfortunately she realized that she was in danger of suffocating if she stayed in the middle any longer while they continued to fight over who would keep Alicia. "She's mine!" "No, she's mine! All mine!" they both said as their claws and horns bumped against each other.
You could hear the two devils growling. Alicia knew what was coming next and took the opportunity to join the others before the two devils fought each other. Lucifer and the devil looked at each other with anger in their eyes as they slowly transformed into their goat form. Both bumped into each other with their horns while one tried to throw the other to the ground. Lucifer almost threatened to do so, but he was able to lean on a stone before throwing the devil to the ground.
"Will you give up and let Alicia be mine?" asked Lucifer him. "Never!" roared the devil jumping towards him in his dragon form. Lucifer saw this and quickly reacted by transforming into his dragon form as well. Both of them get tangled into a knotted mess in their dragon forms, biting and scratching at one another with some of their claws while pulling at each other's horns with their secondary pair of claws. "You stay away from my queen, you imposter!" growled Lucifer.
But the devil did not even think of giving up "Your queen? Ha! As if my dear Alicia's willing to be marriend off to such a clingy crybaby such as yourself?" When Lucifer heard that, he had enough. Both Devils keep duking it out, roaring offscreen while Alicia and the others watched the fight from afar. Henchman, Amnon and the rest of the rivals except Silk and Vespae joined them. Amnon whimpered when he saw the two devils fighting each other while Henchman just shook his head and said a soft "Ahh Jeez..." that Alicia heard.
She and the others were a bit startled when they saw the two demons and the rest of the rivals. Alicia didn't hesitate for long and hid in Blood's cloak, staring grimly at the rivals. Varian and Eira did the same. But the rivals paid no attention to them, but rather watched the fight between the two devils. "So, uh, who are we rooting for?" Daiyu asked as Alicia and the others glared at her. For Alicia and the others it was more of an annoyed look while the other rivals, Henchman and Amnon looked rather confused. The latter covered his eyes with his paws when he heard the scream of the devil who had received a violent blow from Lucifer.
At the top of a cliff pointing to the event stood Silk and Vespae. The former was also watching the fight while the latter stood in front of a mirror, looking into it with a pout while fluffing her hair. "Seriously?! What does both versions of the Devil see in that loser human?!" said Silk, furious, who still couldn't believe that both devils had chosen Alicia as their wife and queen, even though she was a hybrid! She was an eyesore, nothing more. And that's what the queen of the underworld is going to be? Silk did not want to believe it.
Neither did Alicia want to believe it when she saw Lucifer threatening to lose the fight. He was almost lying on the ground while the devil was threatening to hit him in the face with a final blow. But it didn't come to that, because Lucifer hit him in the face with his tail end, which not only knocked the devil out, but also turned him back into his normal form.
"You better give up before you embarrass yourself!" said Lucifer who still remained in his dragon form and waited to see what the devil did next. Lucifer saw it and wanted to save her, but it was too late. She was in the huge hand of the devil. "She is mine and not yours" he said while Alicia was more than scared. She didn't know if she should scream or not. No matter if she wanted to, nothing came out of her mouth. Neither a sound nor a scream. She didn't even know if what she was experiencing was real or not.
Lucifer saw how much Alicia was trembling with fear when she was in the hands of the giant devil. "Let her go!" "Yes, she is married to Lucifer!" said Cuppy and Mugman. "Yes Alicia would never, ever want to be with someone like you!" now the thread was finally broken by Devil who only got angrier than before. "YOU STAY OUT OF IT!" he said in a threatening voice. while hurling the three cups away with his other hand. Blood and Varian caught them before they landed on the floor.
"Release Alicia now!" said all three cups. But the devil only growled "I won't, she'll stay with me! She is my everything!" As he said this, he squeezed the hand he was holding Alicia with tighter. She felt that it was getting tighter around her and she could hardly breathe and her bones were threatening to break. She let out a cry of pain. Lucifer heard it and became even angrier than before. He was blinded by rage and flew head first into the belly of the devil who then let go of Alicia who hurls in the air briefly before threatening to hit the hard ground.
"How are you my love?" when she felt that she was no longer flying in the air but lying on something soft. Slowly she opened her eyes and saw that she was lying on Lucifer's back. "I'm fine so far" she said. Her bones still hurt but at least she could breathe normally again and didn't have to take gasps.
This pleased Lucifer who landed on the ground with her before letting her off his back and transforming back. She was glad to have solid ground under her feet again and not threaten to suffocate or be crushed. No she was more than happy to feel again the tender hand that slowly ran over her cheek.
But the joy was short-lived because Alicia and Lucifer heard a groan behind them and knew that the devil was back to his senses and probably will not be pleased to see his beloved Alicia next to Lucifer.
The devil stood up, and stared at Lucifer with angry eyes while steam came out of his nostrils. It sounded like a train whistle, which was common in cartoons when a cartoon character was angry.
Alicia trembled with fear, not noticing that clouds of smoke appeared not only around her and Lucifer, but also around Blood, Varian, Eira and the three cups. The devil saw this and suspected what would happen. "No you won't escape me again my Alicia!" he roared and ran towards her and the growling Lucifer. But before he could reach Alicia and Lucifer they were already gone and the devil was empty-handed again. Alicia was gone and that made him angry. So angry that he was on fire again while the others hid behind a rock to avoid being caught by the devil's flames.
In Sally's locker room it was still quiet until in a puff of smoke appeared "Why are we back here in the theater?" asked Cuppy as he looked around and noticed they were back in Sally's dressing room. But not everyone was here. Besides the three mugs, Blood, Varian and Eira were still here. But where were Alicia and Lucifer?
In Sugar land
Out of a puff of smoke appeared Alicia and Lucifer who was still in his dragon form and now sat on the slightly sticky sweet ground while Alicia clung to his fur. "Uh why are we in sugar land honey?" asked Lucifer confused as he looked around confused with Alicia who was still trembling and tried to breathe normally before she could answer his question which she heard only now. "B-b-b-bbecause I f-f-f-feel more comfortable h-h-here and s-s-safe from the d-d-devil" she said in a shaky voice while Lucifer tried to calm her down.
He knew that she was still in a state of shock. That's why she unintentionally let clouds of smoke appear to put not only herself but also the others out of danger. The main thing was to get away from the devil. Fortunately, they were. But not all of them were here. Only Lucifer and Alicia were here. The others were nowhere to be seen. But that did not bother Lucifer. He was glad that Alicia was with him again. "Don't worry, I'll make sure he doesn't kidnap you again, my love Alicia" he sidled around her to reassure her.
Well, he wanted to, but suddenly the two felt the ground shake. Alicia stopped shaking and looked in the same direction as Lucifer. Both of them looked away from the exit and saw something approaching them from afar at a rapid speed.
Alicia and Lucifer, however, realized exactly who it was that was approaching them. It was a Candycastle. Well, not just any Candycastle. It was Whippet Creampup. And as Alicia had already guessed, the Baroness was on top of him and had her angry face again. Her eyes were scarlet again while her teeth were sharp like a predator. Alicia already suspected why the Baroness looked so angry. It was because of Lucifer. Like the Bon Bon in the book, she was very concerned about Alicia and always protected her from any danger. Even if she sometimes exaggerates a bit. Like right now when Whippet detached himself from the ground and catapulted himself into the air.
They both saw Whippet land next to them and open his mouth and roar menacingly. The shock waves almost threatened to hurl Alicia away if Lucifer hadn't clutched her tightly with his dragon's tail. "Get your filthy claws off my beloved goddaughter, you demon!" roared the Baroness. Oh no, don't tell me Bon Bon thinks that... She already suspected it.
Bon Bon had confused Lucifer with the devil. Alicia could not blame her, because it was not the first and not the last time that the devil came to visit here. The Baroness didn't believe it, but she took a closer look at the devil behind Alicia. Her eyes returned to normal, as did her teeth. Whippet also calmed down. That was not the devil. He looked completely different in general.
Suddenly, Bon Bon's eyes widened in shock. She remembered what Alicia had told her when Bon Bon had asked her where she got these powers. She had mentioned the very Lucifer with whom she was together and happy.
Alicia suddenly felt that it became very quiet around her and that two arms were clinging around her body. She opened her eyes and realized that she was no longer standing on the ground but was being held in the air by Lucifer. He bent up over the castle in his dragon form and looked slightly threateningly at the Baroness, who returned from her trance with a shake of her head. She saw him and grinned nervously while Whippet scratched his head nervously with his right hand.
Yes one felt that Lucifer was not very pleased about the unannounced visit. Especially not because he wanted to calm Alicia who still had to fight not to get a panic attack. "I uh..." the Baroness said in a slightly shaky voice while Lucifer's pupils became thinner and more threatening, making her swallow nervously before continuing. "I'm very sorry" Bon Bon said and bowed like a noble lady to Lucifer and made a court curtsy with her dress. She lowered her head and waited to see what would happen next. Bon Bon hoped very much that nothing bad happened. Alicia hoped so too, because she knew Lucifer more than well. He could very quickly change his mind about others. Mostly it ended with him chasing the others away or something else. But this time he spared the Baroness. "I hope so," he said, and his pupils returned to normal.
He knew she was no threat to him or Alicia, who he slowly lowered to the ground before transforming back into his normal form. Alicia was as reassured as the Baroness. Both exhaled in relief. "Are you feeling better darling?" asked Lucifer slowly stroking her cheek while standing behind her. "Yes, I'm feeling much better" she answered him and turned to him before hugging him tightly. Lucifer liked this very much "Glad to hear you're feeling better my darling" he said and gently stroked her back. Both enjoyed this very much and did not even notice that Bon Bon stood in front of them and grinned like a honey cake horse. She couldn't contain herself anymore "Aww you two look so cute when you cuddle with each other!" Alicia and Lucifer heard this and both had to grin. Yes that was true what Bon Bon said. They both looked cute when they hugged each other.
In the process, Alicia quickly forgot the time. Just like now, she should be in the theater and not here with Lucifer in Sugar Land. But she wanted to stay here for the moment and enjoy it. She was not worried about the play. She knew that Sally would stand in for her and play the role of Amanda. For Alicia, this was nothing new. "According to paragraph 25, section 13, the marriage certificate is only valid until the wife is crowned with you" the devil's eyes shrank as Stickler held the pages up to his face. "Since Alicia has not been crowned yet, you have a total of one month to make up for it".
He cleared his throat before continuing as the devil read, "If you fail to do so, the marriage certificate will dissolve itself," Stickler explained as he snapped his fingers, causing the book to snap shut and fly into his hand before tucking it under his arm and walking away while the devil ran the whole event through his head again. This was not good news for him but bad. He had to somehow get Alicia to be crowned by him before the month was over or she was gone forever. Besides this deadline, there was the portal the fox built with which Alicia, this cup and now the copy of herself could return to their world.
He had to stop that somehow. But he did not know how. As King Dice and Lilith said, Alicia was rarely alone on the islands. She was always in company. And that prevented him from kidnapping her. But he did not give up that easily. No, he was very persistent. Alicia could try so many times to escape him, he would always catch her again. Don't worry my love, you will soon be mine!
