WOOHP Cafeteria 3:15 PM

Several WOOHP agents and employees were arranging chairs and tables, with Dean and Jason being among them.

"Boy, doing party stuff is hard work."

"Yeah, but it's cool for me. I've not been invited to many birthday parties."

"Really? How come?"

"As a military kid, I haven't been able to stick to one location to make lasting friendships let alone go to many parties, plus, as someone who was a fighter in different Martial Arts competitions, I think they were wary of me." Jason sighed.

"Really?" Dean asked.

"Yeah, I think their parents were nervous around me, especially in my middle high school after I got into a few fights as you know."

"Yeah, but still, I would invite you."

"To a sparring match?"

"Well, sure that too, but you wouldn't be too out of place here hanging out at a WOOHP agent's house or birthday party,"

"TOO out of place?"

"Most of the agents make you look tame," Dean said as he playfully pressed Jason's forehead with his index finger.

Jason then shook his head and chuckled.

Just then Dean's eyes went to the door.

"Check it out, Sam, Clover, and Alex are here."

"Ah, I'll be right there, just have to get a few chairs down."

The iconic trio arrived through the double doors to help set up.

They went to greet Dean after spotting him.

"Hi, Dean" The girls greeted in an enamored way.

"Hey, ladies. Here to help set up for the party?"

"You know it, party planning is my forte."

Jason came out with the last three chairs stacked on each other, eventually meeting the girls' gaze.

"Hey, girls" Jason greeted "How are you three?"

"Hi, Jason." The girls greeted him.

"I didn't know you were helping with the party." Clover added

"How was your vacation?" Alex asked.

"It was great, my Dad and I really got to bond with one another, and I got to see places like Japan, Korea, and back in the states like Arizona."

"Wow, sounds like fun" Alex added.

"It was but it's hot there in Arizona, don't forget to pack some water. It made me respect my father's old base of operations back in his service days."

Just then Theresa came up,

"Hi, girls,"

"Hi Mrs. Barrows"

"Hi Dean."

"Hello, Mrs. Barrows" He saluted.

"Hey Jason, did you get it?"

"Yeah, it's in the car. I'll go get it."

"Sure, but there's someone who needs help with the cake, can you open the door for her?"

"Sure."

Jason went to the door and opened it up for the girl.

Her face was blocked by the cake, but it was Britney.

"Here you go."

"Thanks."

Jason thought, "Wasn't that? Nah…"

Britney then thought, "Wasn't he the guy from the store?"

That was when Jason left to get the present for Jerry - a toy 1958 sports car from Jerry's childhood show, "The Templar", signed by Roger Simmons.

Britney went to the kitchen to drop off the cake and then caught up with the girls.

"Hey, girls." Britney greeted cheerfully.

"Britney!"

Britney and the girls hugged.

"Hi Dean"

"Hey Britney" Dean greeted.

Dean and Britney high-fived.

"Hi Mrs. Barrows"

"Hi Britney"

She and Mrs. Barrows hugged.

"Wait you know Mrs. Barrows?" Alex asked.

"Yeah, she is my forensic science instructor here at WOOHP."

"Ah," Clover understood.

"She did mention that she's done it some time," Sam added.

"Anyway. Have you girls seen Jason yet?" Alex added.

"Oh, he's picking up his present for Jerry," Theresa noted.

"Your son is here?" Britney exclaimed.

"Yeah, he is. Why?"

"Mrs. Barrows told me a little about him."

Jason came into the back room and put his gift in the present bin for Jerry.

Jason then got a ring on his cell phone.

"Jason, Jerry's about to come in."

"Coming."

Jason exited and went back to the ballroom.

"Alex, any word on Jerry?" Sam asked.

"Jerry's coming" Alex noted.

"Quick, everyone hide" Clover called out.

WOOHP agents and employees scrambled to find a place to hide.

"Hey Mom, Dad, I'm here," Jason said barely arriving before people found a place to hide.

"Jason, thank goodness you're back," Theresa said, "We have a few minutes to spare."

Just then Jason's name caught the attention of Britney.

"Quick, grab a place to hide," Dylan added.

"Gotcha," Jason said.

Jason then rolled underneath one of the empty tables next to his parents in the darkened room.

"He really is like you even in social settings" Theresa joked to Dylan after seeing Jason's style of hiding.

"Please don't start" Dylan shook his head.

Just when Jason leaned against the wall near the table, he heard a giggle next to him, then turned his gaze to Britney, who then smiled warmly at him.

Jason, who felt a bit self-conscious, shrugged.

"Are you always like this at parties?" Britney giggled

"Uh hehe...Excuse me for that," Jason shrugged

"No, you're fine" Britney whispered with a smile.
