Chapter 44
After winning the Unova League with ease, Ash gets the chance to face off against the Elite Four. And before facing the Elite Four, Ash and Alice decide to go to the Hoenn Region to capture some Dragon Type Pokemon.
They find a Swablu at Route 114 and evolve it into an Altaria. Then they also find a Mega Stone for it to Mega Evolve. Then they also find a Bagon at Meteor Falls, and they also find the Mega Stone for it.
And once they're done, they are surprised to see a Pokemon landing in front of them, tackling Ash into a hug. Ash chuckles and says, "Latias, I missed you as well."
Alice is shocked to see Latias. Alice says, "So you know this Latias?"
"Yeah, we've met in Alto Mare. I assume you're not living there anymore?" Ash asks.
Latias shakes her head, and then it uses Teleport and they are now on the Southern Island. Ash asks, "Where are we?"
"This is the Southern Island." Latias says, just then, Latios suddenly appear in front of them, much to their surprise. Ash asks, "But how? I thought you were turned into a Soul Dew..."
Latios says, "Arceus revived me because we're going to join your team."
Ash and Alice are delighted, and with their help, traveling will be much easier. And with them giving a ride, they arrive at Sky Pillar and find Rayquaza there. And much to their surprise, the Rayquaza is the Shiny Rayquaza.
"A Shiny Legendary Pokemon?" Alice gasps.
"I remember this one, he helped me back when Hoopa was on the rampage." Ash says. Rayquaza recognizes Ash and also joins his team in the end.
Altaria: Ability: Cloud Nine/Pixilate (Mega). Moves: Perish Song, Pluck, Sky Attack, Dragon Breath, Dragon Dance, Moonblast
Salamence: Ability: Moxie/Aerilate (Mega). Moves: Double-Edge, Flamethrower, Dual Wingbeat, Fly, Dragon Claw, Dragon Tail
Latias: Ability: Levitate. Moves: Reflect Type, Water Sport, Healing Wish, Mist Ball, Psycho Shift, Dragon Pulse
Latios: Ability: Levitate. Moves: Simple Beam, Luster Purge, Power Split, Psychic, Dragon Pulse, Memento
Rayquaza (Shiny): Ability: Air Lock/Delta Stream (Mega). Moves: Hyper Beam, Dragon Ascent, Fly, Hurricane, Rest, Outrage
Back in Unova, Ash and Alice go to Mistralton Cave and find an Axew, evolving it into a Haxorus in the end, and then they head to Dragonspiral Tower to capture the Druddigon.
"The Dragonspiral Tower... it sure is the oldest tower in the Unova region." Alice says.
"Indeed." Ash says.
Once they are in the deepest part of the tower, they find two Dragons waiting for them.
"Reshiram... the Dragon of truth, and Zekrom, the dragon of ideals..." Alice gasps.
"It is nice to see both of you again." Ash says as the two dragon roar. Alice asks, "Let me guess, you have a story with them?"
"Yeah, Zekrom stole Pikachu's electricity on my first day of Unova, and Reshiram was Team Plasma's target." Ash says.
Reshiram says, "We've also heard that you have reformed the new Team Plasma."
Zekrom says, "I know you have your ideals, but are you sure you'll be able to lead Team Plasma into righteous?"
"Of course we do." Ash and Alice say in unison. Then both dragons give Ash and Alice their customized Pokeballs, and they return to Black Stone and White Stone to rest. Then Ash and Alice head to the next location: The Giant Chasm.
"Legend says that if you approach this big chasm, disasters surely follow." Alice says.
"That's because Kyurem is said to eat children who are lost. But that is just a legend that tries to scare the children not to enter." Ash says.
When they get to the interior, they find Kyurem waiting for them. Kyurem says, "I've been waiting for you for a lot of days, why did it take you so long to come here?"
"Sorry, we have other business to attend to, that's why we aren't here." Ash apologizes.
"Very well." Kyurem says as he gives them the Poke Ball, and he says, "And this is the DNA Splicers, it is what causes me to transform into different forms."
"I see... thank you for this item." Ash says as they leave the cave.
Haxorus: Ability: Rivalry. Moves: Giga Impact, Guillotine, Brick Break, Dragon Pulse, Outrage, Assurance
Druddigon: Ability: Rough Skin. Moves: Chip Away, Rock Climb, Superpower, Dragon Tail, Outrage, Iron Head
Reshiram: Ability: Turboblaze. Moves: Hyper Voice, Blue Flare, Fusion Flare, Imprison, Dragon Breath, Dragon Pulse
Zekrom: Ability: Teravolt. Moves: Noble Roar, Bolt Strike, Fusion Bolt, Zen Headbutt, Dragon Claw, Outrage
Kyurem: Ability: Pressure/Turboblaze (White)/Teravolt (Black). Moves: Scary Face/Fusion Flare/Fusion Bolt, Glaciate/Ice Burn/Freeze Shock, Sheer Cold, Imprison, Dragon Pulse, Outrage
After training at Sevestar Island with the others, both Ash and Alice get a call from Drayden to give a speech to the Opelucid Academy. One of the best schools in the Unova Region. They know for sure that the speech is going to be related to what the first generation of Shin and Pauline did in the past. Alice tries to ask her mother, but her mother is confident that Alice could give out the best speech along with Ash.
When they are in the Academy, they are welcomed by Drayden and the Dragon Elder. The two of them bring them to their own guest rooms so they could prepare for the speech which happens after an hour. The speech is most likely about how they train their Dragon Type Pokemon and their heroic deeds in the past. Even if they're not the first generation, they feel like they are the ones who did the deed thanks to the weapons they have with them.
After finishing the speech, they are going to look around the campus. They are welcomed as everyone knows what Red and Valerie did in the past. Ash and Alice can only nod as they can't let others know about it.
Just then, they hear laughing as well as mean words from the crowd in front of them, Ash and Alice are now curious and Ash asks, "What's going on there?"
A student tells them, "Oh, the classmates of that class are bullying the two students again..."
Alice is a little paranoid when she hears the words, memories of the bad past flood her mind. Ash asks, "Pauline, are you okay?"
"I'm fine..." Alice takes a breath, she asks the students, "What did the two of them do to get bullied?"
"They wanted to be your students, which is ridiculous since you guys are heroes." The female student tells them.
"That was just like the reason why you were bullied in the past..." Ash says to Alice, who is trembling and she says, "I can't let them suffer the same fate as me...I am going to help them no matter what."
Ash says, "I'm with you. Let's teach them a lesson."
When they walk towards the crowd, Ash yells, "What is going on here?"
The classmates stop their mocking as they see Shin and Pauline in front of them, Ash notices the two students on the floor shielding themselves as he asks the crowd, "Why are you doing this to these two, what did they ever do?"
The students are too nervous to answer, if they tell the truth, then the Dragon Duo might punish them. Alice uses the chance to walk towards the two students. She asks with concern, "Are you two alright?"
The two students are surprised to see Pauline asking them, the boy says, "I'm fine...thank you for asking...Dragon Princess."
Alice smiles and says, "Can you tell us your names?"
Now they are shocked since the Dragon Duo is asking their names. The girl says, "My name is Lucine... this is my brother, Drandon..." Ash and Alice can feel that they are nervous as the crowd is trying not to laugh at them.
Ash says, "We have heard from other students, you wanted to be our students, which is why you were in this kind of state?"
The two of them nod as they frown again, they can hear a lot of people saying something mean to them. Alice is angry and says, "That's enough! I won't tolerate any mean words from you guys! Our job is to protect people from bad dragons, but that doesn't mean you can act like them!"
Now the crowd is quiet as the Dragon Princess is referring them to bad dragons, but they know they can't win against the Dragon Princess when it comes to this. Ash turns to Drandon and Lucine and says, "We can take students, but there is one condition in order to do so."
Drandon immediately says after hearing Ash's words, "Just tell us, we have been waiting for this since we are younger. We really want to have you as our masters, we want to become the strongest Dragon Tamers!"
With Alice still glaring at the crowd, they can only feel the tense air and horrifying silence. Then she says, "Very well. You have hearts of fearless dragons, and I can sense something from you two. Come with us to the gym, we will show you the mission."
The two nod as everyone goes to the gym as well as Drayden and Elder, who have come to see the ruckus. Ash sends out a Kyurem and Alice sends out a shiny Rayquaza, much to everyone's shock. "Are they Legendary Pokemon?" "No way...they are the strongest dragons in the Dragon Duo's care!"
Drayden and Elder are also surprised as well, but what surprises them the most is that Ash takes Drandon and Lucine to the middle of the field as the two Pokemon are approaching them.
"Being like us means that you have to learn how to tame fearsome dragons, and these two are the most fearsome dragons in the whole world. If you can prove to us that you can tame them, then we will consider taking you two as students."
Lucine and Drandon are shocked at first, as they didn't expect this to happen. Lucine shows her determination and says, "We have come this far, we can't let that scare us."
Drandon nods in agreement, "Indeed. They are nothing compared to the hardship we faced."
As the two students walk towards the two Pokemon, the two Pokemon give out a mighty roar, some of the students who are watching are feeling scared at the power, but Drandon and Lucine just go closer like it was nothing. Then the two Pokemon try to shoot out attacks on them: Dragon Pulse and Hyper Beam, much to everyone's shock. Drandon and Lucine know that the attacks won't hit them, so they continue forward and see how the attack lands on the ground in front of them. When they finally reach the dragons, they put their hands on their heads and pet them.
Ash and Alice see the scene and they form a smile as they walk toward them. Ash says, "You have passed the test. You are brave and strong, but you still have a lot to learn."
Alice turns to Drayden, "Principal Drayden, is it possible if we take these two under our care? After all, their efforts are accumulated for this moment."
Everyone gasps as they can't believe that these two did it, Drayden nods and says, "Very well. You can take them. I am sure that they will like to come with you as well."
Ash smiles as the two students are happy. "We did it, brother. We are now their students."
"I know. Our dream has come true." Drandon says, also with a smile.
Here is a new chapter, and as you can see, Ash and Alice capture the Dragon Pokemon from Hoenn and Unova, and I really like the movie Latias and Latios, so I bring them back in this chapter. I hope you like it.
