Chapter 54
"I see...I can't believe Ash and Alice are doing a lot of amazing things..." Max says as he hears from Delia, Valerie, Eve, Golly, Reisa, Mark, Serena, and Lillie about what he and Alice are doing. But just as they are continuing the conversation, they notice something from a distance.
"What was that over there?" Mark asks.
Flora says, "It probably is just a plane flying over our island. Since we're located between Hoenn and Alola after all..."
"I don't think it is flying over... I think that plane is approaching the island..." Eve says.
"Wait, what? Are you serious about that? Who other than us know about this island?" Reisa asks.
Delia and Valerie look at the plane as they widen their eyes, Delia says, "No way...that's AK151!"
"AK151? What kind of plane is that?" Serena asks.
"Forget about asking right now, we've better run because the plane is trying to land on the beach!" Lillie says as they all rush back to the grassy fields. And once they see the plane landing safely and decelerating, they slowly get closer to see Ash and Alice open the door and walk out of it.
Alice takes a huge breath before kneeling on the ground. She says, "That sure is quite an experience."
"I know, but you did it, you really are great at flying a plane." Ash says while trying to help her up. Then they also notice they are not alone. Delia, Valerie, and the others are looking at them with shock. Ash says, "Oh, hey guys."
"Ash, Alice. Where the hell did you get that plane?" Reisa asks. "And why did you let it land at the beach here?"
"Well, Queen Ilene from the Rota Kingdom told us that this plane used to belong to my dad and Alice's mom, who has the disguise as Skylar and Plania." Ash says. "We fly back so that we can decorate the interior."
"So AK151 was in Rota all this time?" Valerie asks. "Wait, does that mean you two were the ones who fly the plane all the way from Rota to here? I don't think I have ever taught you how to do it..."
"Not to mention...the way the plane lands is not like a beginner would do..." Golly adds.
"We had some help, and we were not the only ones on the plane." Alice says as East walks outside. Reisa notices him and says, "East? Is that you?"
"Well if it isn't Reisa? Long time no see." East says as the siblings share a hug.
"Wait, you two know each other?" Lillie asks Reisa, who turns to her and says, "He is my brother, we haven't talked for a lot of years because he is training to be a great pilot."
Ash says, "He did give us a lot of safety lessons and also taught us how to fly the plane. We also discussed that East here would be our new Flying-type leader of the Sevestar Region."
"Ash tried taking off while I tried landing the plane, and there are a lot of new features and we can also use autopilot. That's why the ride was smooth. Although we need to get more practice since we were still sweating and nervous about flying a plane."
Max says, "Okay...this is really cool! To think the both of you are going to fly a plane..."

Ash smiles at Max, and he welcomes him to the team. After introducing one another, they start to decorate the plane with the furniture, kitchen supplies, and also things that can do. "Since it is done, how about we try to fly on it?" Ash asks, and the others are delighted. Valerie and Delia also decide to come since they want to make sure Ash and Alice aren't doing any mistakes while flying a plane. After all, one mistake will cause an air crash and they don't want that to happen.
Once they are flying in the air, Reisa looks outside the window and says, "Wow, this is really awesome."
"I know, it seems like we are in a flying hotel." Eve agrees.
"So where are we going?" East asks Plania, who is flying the plane with Skylar beside him. Valerie and Delia are watching behind them.
"We are going back to Hoenn. Let's see if we can land at the ocean close to FS Resort in Dewford Town." Plania says.
"I see...I remember you are taking part in gyms, how many badges do you have?" East asks.
"With the Balance Badge I got yesterday, we have 5 badges." Skylar says. "We need 3 more and my next stop should be Fortree City."
"Oh, so you're facing Mom in the gym battle." East says.
"Yeah, Reisa probably already informed her about the battle. And I assume that she's also the one who influenced you to become a Flying Type Specialist?"
"Well, she likes bird Pokemon more, and I'm fine with all Flying Type Pokemon." East says.
And after arriving at the sea close to FS Resort, they head out and use Teleport so they can go to Fortree City and challenge Winona for the Gym battle. Winona is happy to learn Reisa and East are friends with Ash and Alice, and she also promises not to hold back on battles with Ash.
She uses five Pokemon this time, with the previous team: Swellow, Pelipper, and Altaria, and the new additions: Skarmomy and Tropius. Ash has to admit that battling 5 on 5 really is a little exhausting, but he uses Pikachu, Glalie, and Relicanth to defeat all five of them and win the Feather Badge.
East and Max are joining the group of Sevestar, and they are also training their Pokemon: For Max, he has Gallade, Throh, Breloom, Hitmonchan, and Poliwrath. Ash also has him use Marshadow in the team. As for East, he has Drifblim, Gyarados, Pidgeot, Skarmory, and Mantine, and he is also given a Tornadus to use. They have also chosen the gym locations and much to their surprise, Max wants his gym to be close to FS Resort since Mark would also teach him some more about Fighting-types, as for East, he has created the city known as Skyhigh City, with the famous canyon called Skyhigh Canyon. They also set up an airport there so that their AK151 can land there without any problem.
With Hala's help, Max also gets his own Fightium Z, and East gets his Flyinium Z in Ten Carat Hill. Ash is a little relieved that the trial captains aren't going to bother them there, and both Ash and Alice don't plan on capturing new Flying Type Pokemon in the region.
Back to Ash's Hoenn battles, his seventh gym is in Mossdeep City, and he's facing a double battle against Tate and Liza, the Psychic Type users. They use Lunatone, Solrock, Claydol, and Xatu this time, and Ash has to use Absol and Greninja to win the battle and get the Mind Badge.
In Sootopolis City, Ash and Alice stay at Reisa and East's home, and Ash asks, "So Wallace doesn't come home often?"
"He's busy with the Wallace Cup held in the Johto Region right now, and my Mom used to stay at Fortree City because she like the forest-like atmosphere there." Reisa says. "But don't worry, he will probably be back for your Hoenn League challenge."
"Right now the Gym Leader of Sootopolis is Juan, and I suppose that you battled him when you battle the Hoenn League for the first time, right?" East asks.
"To be honest, I don't know if I should battle him actually..." Ash takes out the Rain Badge, much to the three's surprise.
"Wait, you already have a Rain Badge?" East asks.
"This badge was given to me by your Dad back when I was challenging the World Coronation series." Ash says. "Since Chloe was trying her first Contest, he stopped me from going there because he wanted to battle me. After giving him a full battle, the contest was already over."
"I think I remember, that's also the day when Serena and our cousin formed the idol group." Reisa says.
"Reisa! East! You're back!" Just then, much to the two's surprise, Lisia slams open the door and tackles Reisa for a hug. Reisa groans and says, "Lisia... we have guests here, stop embarrassing me..."
"Guests?" Lisia turns to notice Ash and Alice. "Oh my gosh. Ash and Alice? I never knew you guys are best friends! I've been wanting to meet you for a long time, Ash!"
"Um... it is nice to meet you, Lisia." Ash says.
"I've always wanted to have a Contest battle with you. You're a four Ribbon Cup winner after all!" Lisia says. "Serena also talked a lot about you, although she recently start talking about your brother instead."
"Yeah, they are dating." Alice says.
East says, "Ash and Alice are going to challenge Juan for the final gym badge, and they decide to stay at our house since Dad is not home."
"Oh! Does that mean we're going to have pajama parties? Maybe we should also invite Serena and Mark here!" Lisia says.
"That doesn't sound like a bad idea." Alice says.
Then they head to the gym, and Juan accepts Ash's challenge despite Ash already having the badge. Juan uses six Pokemon this time: Luvdisc, Whiscash, Walrein, Crawdaunt, Kingdra, and Milotic. Ash has to use four Pokemon this time, but he uses Pikachu, Sceptile, Breloom, and Tropius to win the gym battle.
And that night, Mark and Serena have time as they all have a sleepover at Reisa and East's house. When they talked about the Colors Band, Ash, Alice, and Reisa also show their masks, causing Lisia to squeal in delight.
"No way! Reisa is a part of the Colors Band? You're so awesome on stage. I'm so proud of you." Lisia says.
"And can you please stop being overreacting?" Reisa says. "Where is Chaz when you need to..."
"It's our alone time, so you shouldn't mention my boyfriend right now." Lisia says.
"Indeed, Chaz is training with Brawly right now, since he is also partaking gyms." Mark says.
Ash says, "So that means we might be facing each other in the League."
Alice says, "If Ash won the League, the next thing is to face the Elite Four. So far we only met Sidney on S.S Aqua on that day and Phoebe at Mt. Pyre when she told us how to find a Shuppet. And Ash probably had met Drake before, so all that's left is Glacia, the Ice Type member."
"She is a strong trainer from what I've heard." East says. "I'm sure she will give you a hard challenge."
"You're right. But I'm not going to hold back as well. I heard that the Hoenn Elite Four are also going to use Mega Evolution when battling." Ash says. "I can't wait."
