Chapter 20 attack on the facility of the past part 05
Blade, Laura and Kal are seen heading to the last base that is powering the barrier as they get closer to their destination the group spots a large group of mavericks that is guarding the base Blade, Laura and Kal attacks the mavericks in order to get to the base.

The three fight the mavericks as they try to reach the base Blade cuts down many mavericks as tear through them Laura is surprised by how ruthless he is Kal is able to get by most of the maverick forces using his ninja skills and destroying them instantly upon seeing this Laura shacks her head reminding herself that they are on an important mission she starts fighting the Mavericks by blasting them they can reach the target.
After getting the first wave the second one is much harder and dangerous.
Kal: we are going to need a different plan do to how many enemies there are.
Laura: why?
Kal: the next foes we are about to face have a larger force if we take them head on we will be overwhelmed and killed so we are going to sneak past them so we can avoid detection and reach our target.
Blade: that seems like the best option we can't waste our strength facing every enemy we see.
Laura: I agree let's get this over with we've spent too much time as it is.
Kal: right let's go.
The three soon started sticking to the shadows so they won't fight have to fight too many enemies as they head to the enemy base they took out some of the mavericks so they won't be caught as they move soon they were close to the base but they soon encounter an enemy standing in there way who is also a cyborg and is fused to a large machine with a large Axe as a weapon.
?: well now it looks we some fools who's trying to take away our freedom.
Blade: take away your freedom?
Laura: what are you talking about?
?: I'm one of the people who's life you I.S pilots ruined in the name of your so called superior power.
Laura: …
Kal: so you decided to join Madoka's group in order to have the I.S pilots experience what you went through.
?: of course as for who I am I'm just a mercenary for higher but it doesn't matter like it or not I desire freedom and you three will die for it all the same!
(Metal Gear Rising Hot Wind Blowing)
The three soon started fighting against the Mercenary who is standing in their way the Mercenary creates a huge impact causing dust to cover the area.
The Mercenary tries to find them but Blade appears out of the dust and attacks him at point blank range damaging him, Laura destroyed most of his armor and Kal throws some bombs at the damage parts weakening him more this angers the Mercenary more as he fires missiles at them so he can kill them.
The three avoids most of the attacks as it creates another dust cloud around the area taking this chance Blade moves in and cuts his leg off, Laura does the same leaving the enemy unable to move Blade uses his claws to pull the Mercenary out of the Machine then he cuts him to pieces ending him and the fight.
(End of music)
Blade: mission complete let's go and shutdown this last barrier.
The two nodes and they head inside the base they find the control room that is powering the barrier Blade shuts it down and the last barrier is gone now it was time to return to the others and prepare for the fight against Madoka.
Meanwhile at the mountains Tabane is informed that her other project is almost completely finished and they have found Ouroboros.
Tabane: so you have finally found it good job Chloe make sure to tell the others to send it to my base okay.
Chloe: yes ma'am.
As Chloe leaves Tabane looks at her other Project as she smiles a sinisterly as she looks at the object in the monitor.
Tabane: soon Yushai I'll show you Who this world belongs to.
Inside Tabane's subconscious someone is grinning.
?: yes continue to be overconfident because once you have fallen to despair that is when I will finally awaken ahahahah HAHAHAHA!
Then everything fades to black.

That's another Chapter done Tabane's group has found Ouroboros and she is creating something secretly wonder what it is now on to the reviews.
To Gojira: you are right Yushai is definitely going to call out on Madoka's petty revenge and save the kids as well.
