Naruto felt like he had been punched in the gut. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. This was his worst nightmare come to life.
Hinata and Sasuke looked up at him, startled by his sudden appearance. Hinata quickly sat up, pulling the sheets up to cover herself, while Sasuke sat up beside her, a look of annoyance on his face.
"Naruto, what the hell are you doing here?" Sasuke demanded, his voice cold and unfriendly.
Naruto couldn't even form words. He just stood there, staring at them in disbelief. Hinata looked at him with concern, but he could see the hurt in her eyes.
"Naruto, we're done. You and I, we're over," she said softly.
Naruto felt like he had been hit with a ton of bricks. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. "But Hinata, I love you. I can't live without you," he said, desperation creeping into his voice.
Hinata shook her head sadly. "I'm sorry, Naruto. But I can't be with you. I loved you too. But you need to let me go," she said firmly.
Naruto looked at her, tears streaming down his face. He knew she was right, but he couldn't bear the thought of losing her. "Please, Hinata. I'll do anything. Just give me another chance," he pleaded.
But Hinata shook her head. "I'm sorry, Naruto. It's too late. I've moved on, and so should you," she said.
Naruto's eyes widened in disbelief as he looked at Hinata. "Then what the hell is going on here, Hinata?!" he exclaimed, his voice rising in anger. "Isn't Sasuke your best friend?"
Sasuke's lips curled into a cocky smirk. "What does it look like, dobe?" he replied, reveling in the fact that he had triumphed over Naruto. The anger in Naruto's eyes intensified as he glared at Sasuke.
"You're a snake, Sasuke. You've always been one," Naruto spat, his fists clenching at his sides.
Hinata held the blacket closer to her, trying to defuse the tension. "Naruto, please calm down. We're not together anymore," she said softly.
"But I still love you, Hinata. I always have," Naruto said, turning to her with pleading eyes.
Hinata shook her head sadly. "I'm sorry, Naruto. But it's too late. Sasuke and I are together now," she said, her voice gentle but firm.
Naruto's heart sank at Hinata's words. He had lost her for good. He took a step back, his eyes still fixed on Hinata and Sasuke. He couldn't bear to watch them any longer.
"I see," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I understand." He turned and walked out of the room, leaving Hinata and Sasuke alone. As he walked down the hallway, his mind raced with thoughts and emotions. He felt betrayed by Sasuke, but he also knew deep down that it was his own fault for pushing Hinata away.
He didn't know what to do next. He couldn't imagine life without Hinata, but he knew that he had to move on. He had to let her go and find a way to live without her. But how? That was the question that plagued him as he walked out of the building and into the night, alone with his thoughts.
A couple days after that day, Naruto became distant from both Sasuke and Hinata. He was still upset about what he had discovered and couldn't bring himself to talk to them. When summer arrived, he decided to travel and visit his godfather and his parents. Despite still loving Hinata and constantly thinking about her, he knew it was time to move on.
Meanwhile, Sakura had gone to America and applied for a hospital job, which she managed to secure. She was living life to the fullest, although she wasn't dating anyone at the time. Occasionally, she would have fun with people she met at the bar, one of them being a man named Gaara.
Sasuke and Hinata walked up to their parents' house, holding hands. As they approached, their mothers squealed in delight. "I win! You owe me $200, Hiashi!" Mikoto exclaimed with glee.
Sasuke and Hinata exchanged a confused glance before turning to their parents. "You made a bet on us?" Hinata asked incredulously.
Hiashi cleared his throat, looking a bit embarrassed. "Well, it was just a friendly wager between us," he admitted, while Mikoto continued to dance around in celebration.
Sasuke rolled his eyes, but couldn't help but feel a sense of amusement at his mother's excitement. "Well, you both won. We're officially dating," he said with a small smile.
Hinata blushed and leaned into Sasuke's side, feeling content and happy. Mikoto ran up to them, grabbing their free wrists. "Come on, we have so much to catch up on and we would love for you to sing us a song," she said with a bright smile.
Sasuke and Hinata followed Mikoto inside the house, their hands still intertwined. As they settled down in the living room, Mikoto and Hinata's mom bombarded them with questions about their relationship, beaming with pride at their children's happiness.
Sasuke and Hinata stood before their parents, their hands clasped together. They exchanged a small smile before taking a deep breath, preparing themselves for the moment. Then, Sasuke began to sing.
His voice was smooth and melodious, filling the room with a soulful rendition. Hinata watched him with admiration, feeling her heart swell with pride and affection.

Oh, damn, oh, damn, oh, damn, I'm so perplexed
With just one breath, I'm locked in
Oh, damn, oh, damn, oh, damn, I'm so perplexed
Oh, that it's almost shockin'
I know, I know you know you're scared
Your heart, your mind, your soul, your body, yeah
They won't, they won't, they won't be careful
But I guess that you don't know me
'Cause if I want you, then I want you, babe
Ain't goin' backwards, won't ask for space
'Cause "space" was just a word made up
By someone who's afraid to get too
Sasuke walked towards Hinata, feeling the music flowing through him. He pulled her close, their eyes locking in a tender gaze. Black met lavender, and they both felt the intensity of the moment. Sasuke put all his emotions into the song, letting the lyrics and melody take over. They swayed back and forth, lost in the music and each other.
As the song progressed, they decided to give their parents a little concert. They danced together, moving in perfect synchronization. In the beginning, they would get close and then pull back, as if there was an invisible force pulling them apart. But as the song built up to its climax, they moved closer and closer until they were fully intertwined, lost in the moment and the passion of the music.
Oh, man, oh, man, I am not
Really known for ever bein' speechless (Yeah, yeah)
But now, but now, somehow
My words roll off my tongue right onto your lips, ah (Oh, babe)
I'm keepin' cool while you keep smilin'
Sayin' all the things I'm thinkin' (Oh, baby, yeah)
Oh, man, oh, man, I am like you
So I want proof I'm what you're feelin' (Oh)
Because if I want you, then I want you, babe
Ain't goin' backwards (Goin' backwards), won't ask for space
'Cause "space" is just a word made up
By someone who's afraid to get too
Close, ooh-ooh (Ooh-ooh)
Oh, so close, ooh-ooh
I want you close, ooh-ooh (Yeah, baby)
'Cause "space" was just a word made up
By someone who's afraid to get
Close, ooh-ooh (Ooh-ooh)
Oh, so close, ooh-ooh
I want you close, ooh-ooh (I want you)
Oh, I want you close, then close ain't close enough, no
'Cause if I want you, then I want you, babe
Ain't goin' backwards, won't ask for space
'Cause "space" was just a word made up
By someone who's afraid to get too
Close
Close, ooh-ooh (Close, babe)
Oh, so close, ooh-ooh (Oh, baby)
I want you close, ooh-ooh (Yeah, baby, yeah)
'Cause "space" was just a word made up
By someone who's afraid to get
Close, ooh-ooh (So get close, baby)
Oh, so close, ooh-ooh (Oh, baby, oh)
I want you close, ooh-ooh (Can you tell me?)
Oh, I want you close, then close ain't close enough, no
Yeah, baby (Close)
Oh, tell me, baby, what you want (Close), ooh-ooh
Oh, I want you close, then close ain't close enough, no
Sasuke lifted Hinata up in the air as they both caught their breath. Lowering her slowly, he leaned in and kissed her lips, the world around them disappearing as they lost themselves in the moment. When they finally pulled away, they heard cheers and applause from their parents, reminding them that they weren't alone.
Blushing, they separated and turned to their families, feeling a mixture of embarrassment and happiness. Their parents were beaming with joy and pride, and Hinata couldn't help but smile.
