WASSUP GUYS! CHIRITH HERE AND I AM BACK WITH A NEW CHAPTER!
College and Honkai Star Rail drained my time, but oh boy! It was worth it.
I am supposed to be sleeping and resting for my midterms that will happen in a few hours but here we are.
First of all, thank you for all those that read, follow, review, and favorited these fics of mine. Each and every one of ou motivates me to write more chapters.
I am not good with words, but thank you. I hope you guys tune in for more.
So, I saw some shorts from the RWBY and JL crossover. While some scenes are... mid. I did enjoy the scenes that I saw about Jessica and Jaune. I enjoyed it so much that I started shipping them and reading every Knightlight fic that I can find. Speaking of RWBY fanfic, I highly recommend RWBY reacts to a Rental Jaune by Sinbad77. They are an awesome person and a great writer.
Disclaimer: I do not own Danmachi. If I did... oh boy.
Announcement: Since Bell has been through a lot, I will list here the girls that are interested in him. (either romantically or platonically)

Obsidian eyes lifelessly stared into the vast emptiness of space as he found himself in his Familia's new manor, named Hearthfire Manor, specifically in the kitchen. The captain of the Hestia Familia took a sip of his coffee as he looked at how Hestia glared at Loki. Apparently, they were neighbors now.
Wisely, the captain of the Hestia Familia had used his best stealth class to hide his presence while he ate his breakfast, a French toast, and a cup of coffee with a batch of scrambled eggs. Bell was frozen beside Hestia, trying his best to act like a statue as he sat in front of Ais Wallenstein.
"What do you want, Loki?" Hestia asked, gone was her childish temperament, and was replaced with the Goddess of the Hearth, the eldest daughter of the titan Cronos.
"Straight to the point, eh, chibi?" Loki asked, her smile turning mischievously devilish as her eyes opened. Discretely, the shadows around the young man condensed, revealing a kunai as he ate his meal. "I need a favor,"
"Oh? A favor? What kind?" Hestia asked, staring at Loki as she knew something was needed by Loki.
"I need Soloer's help,"
"Soloer?"
"Your oldest child, the man with dark hair and eyes," The red-haired deity said. "My children told me he killed something that gave them trouble and knowing you, you're too obsessed with your youngest,"
"No," Hestia said, steel filling her voice as she stared at Loki. "It is true that I favor Bell more, but my Captain is my still my child. I will not have him risk his life-"
"You sure?" Deciding that he could get more out of this situation, the young undead stood from his chair and approached the living room, his presence embraced by the shadows as he sat and entered the door.
"She's teasing you, Hestia," the young undead said, cutting off the trickster's attempts to possibly weaken his patron's resolve, while he leaned on the doorpost as he took a sip from his cup of coffee. "Isn't that right, Trickster?" Besides her, her children subtly kept their guards up with the Amazons narrowing their eyes.
Ais' eyes widened as she felt a familiar presence from the young man. 'A dragon?' the young girl thought as the black fire in her soul slowly burnt brighter.
"Oh~ I need your help and we'll reward you with anything that you want as long as it's equal to your help," The redhead said, smiling devilishly. "Not Ais-tan, though,"
"I'm not interested in your sword princess, trickster," The young undead said tiredly as he finished his cup of coffee. The trickster of Norse Mythology paused, trying to see some sort of lie in his statement. "or those two," He said, referring to the Amazons.
"What do you want then?"
"Knowledge and skills that will be useful for the Kid and me," Ren said, prioritizing the long-term benefit. True, money would allow them to buy more items but compared to the chance of being trained by members of one of the strongest organizations in Orario would result in far more positive effects than money.
"Oh? Not even if I offer you some of my lovely and beautiful children?" Loki asked, pervertedly sniffing in a way similar to an old man.
"No, besides, if I do that, you would have a free chance to kill me with no repercussions," The young undead said the smile on Loki's face froze, and turned to a line. "After all, there is no way that you or any deity would not want to make a deal that will benefit you the most,"
"Oh, I like you," Loki whispered, a small smile blooming on her face. "Is that why you have those knives under our shadows ready?" Loki asked, causing the young undead's right brow to twitch and causing her children to look at their shadows to see numerous knives ready to pierce them at a moment's notice. "Not bad, but it was easy for me to know once you stopped hiding your presence,"
"I'll bite, what do you need help with?" Ren asked, holding his hand up, signaling Hestia to listen to what the trickster wanted.
"Oh, we're investigating those monsters and from what Tiona and the others told me, you are strong enough to kill the Goliat in single combat despite being a level one," Loki said as the tables have been turned. Knowing this, the young undead desperately looked for a solution, after all, Loki could instantly pin the spotlight on him and it would be hard to move unnoticed if you are popular. "I want your help to deal with them in case of something like this ever happens again,"
'Or everyone will know how powerful you are,' the unsaid threat loomed at the heads of Hestia and Ren. Seeing no way out of the trap he accidentally set, the young undead looked into the eyes of his deity.
'She has us,'
'It's fine. I'll respect whatever choice you make,'
'Thank you, Hestia,'
The mental conversation lasted only a second but it was enough.
"I'll help but I want you to start Bell's training as soon as possible," Ren said as he looked at Loki.
"Sold!" Loki said with a smile. "Heh! Hey, you rabbit! You'll be training with Lefiya and-,"
"I'll train him," Ais Wallenstein, the quiet swordswoman and the sword princess, cut in, making Bell, who was a silent observer all this time, squeal a bit. Sensing that Hestia was about to retort, the young man pinched his patron to stop her.
"Very well. Bell, try not to die," Ren said as he nodded at his little brother but deep in his mind, he knew that it was not only Hestia that he would have to deal with,
"Ooh~ This is new~," Loki said, smiling at her child. "Let's get it straight, boy. Try to do anything to my Ais-tan and I'll-,"
"Shut it! Bell won't do anything to you Wallenwhatsit because he already has me?"
Unable to stop himself from poking fun at his patron,
"Artemis too," Suddenly, a light yet stern fist hit him on the head only for its owner to recoil in pain. "Though, he should train with that mage first. It'll help him get used to fighting with someone other than a fighter," The sword princess stared at the captain of the Hestia Familia with hollow eyes, unable to comprehend what just happened.
'I just had the chance to spend time with my rabbit and he...'
"What about you?" Loki asked, looking at the young undead intently. The man was good enough to know her true plan, to weaken Hestia's resolve by teasing her just to squeeze his worth for her benefit yet he found out and lessened it, even gaining almost an equal amount of benefit from her side,
"The chance to train under one of your strongest members, to gain experience." The young undead said, careful to keep his gaze away from Loki. "I am confident to say that in one-on-one scenarios, as long as nothing can kill me instantly, then I can win that fight,"
"Even the king?"
"If I go all out?" The young undead asked, thinking over it. While powerful and damn near unkillable, his strongest class in terms of survivability and support can handle the King in single combat. Even some of his classes can do it such as his support classes like the oracle. The problem is that he lacks the experience of a real fight. Even with equal amounts of status and skills, it will be easy for the King to take him out due to his inexperience. "Then it will be close as long as he doesn't find out everything I am capable of,"
"Bold words," Loki said, smiling as she finally found a way to end the stalemate while limiting the possible risks that her children might face. "Very well, I'll have our Familia's mother draft the contract and have it delivered here by the end of the day," Loki said as she stood up from her seat.
The trio of the Hestia Familia could only watch as their neighbors exited their mansion.
"Fuck!" Ren roared, stomping his feet on the ground. "She played me like a damn fiddle!"
"Calm down, Ren, you managed to get us a good benefit... even if I do not approve of it that much,"
"Is everything alright, Master? Milady?" A woman with blue eyes and black hair with red tips dressed in a Victorian-era black maid outfit asked as she entered the room.
"Oh, Licht. It's fine," Bell said as he watched at how his older brother seethed.
This young woman is a spirit of light that Ren managed to have a contract with and she now works as the housemaid of the manor, she along with others, maintain the house. How the young undead managed to contract them was a mystery.
"If you say so, Master Bell," Licht said with a smile on her face as she gently went to do her duties.
"Bell," Ren said, his obsidian eyes glowing with a light blue tint. "I want you to spend this day in the dungeon with your supporter, get some things out of your mind."
"What about you?"
"I'll take a walk around the city, try to calm myself down,"
"I see, take care, okay?"
"I will,"
Not waiting for the response of his patron and others, the young undead walked out of his Familia's new estate. Relying on his stealth class's stealth capabilities, the young man stalked the streets of Orario before entering an alley.
Turning through several streets at a time, the young man soon found himself inside a beautiful building that time has not been kind to. A simple tree stood tall in the middle, gently drinking the rays of sunshine that danced through the cracks of the humble abode. Gently, the young undead enjoyed the quiet harmony that the place had compared to the city. Feeling his worries get swept away, the young undead changed to his Sword Master class and fell into a meditative trance, a simple longsword appearing on his lap.
Gently prodding into his undead nature, the young man welcomed the light that slowly dispersed the weaknesses and benefits of his undead nature, letting himself be one with the entire world for the moment-,
In a split second, the captain of the Hestia Familia opened his eyes. Obsidian orbs met a beautiful pair of sky blue as darkness covered his entire being, his human nature being hidden away by his undead status.
For what seemed like an eternity, his observer, a woman dressed in a green cloak, and him, the undead gamer from another world, stared at each other.
"Mr. Cruz?" The woman said, her voice echoing in the unfilled halls of the building.
"Miss Lyon?" The young undead asked, gently lowering his guard as he recognized the voice of the waitress that had served him and his Familia for the last week when they ate at the Hostess of Fertility.
While the young undead knows about possible events, he had discarded most of his former plans. Some research he had done has resulted in him finding out that many things are different compared to the Anime and Manga.
"What are you doing here?" The young elf asked, gently lowering her mask to not seem rude while the young undead stood from his meditative stance and gently patted the dust off his pants.
"I needed to calm down. I go in places like this to let some stress go," The young undead explained as he tied the sheath of his longsword to his attire's belt. "What about you?"
"The others and I are patrolling this area after we found some reports about the new monsters,"
"I see. Best of luck to you and your group,"
"Lyon!" The voice of Scarlet Harnell echoed in the halls, causing a headache to form at the young man's head. "Oh? You found a helper? Hello there! I'm Alise! Alise Lovell, the number one beautiful Scarlet Harnell, nice to meet you!"
'Dear god...' The young undead thought in horror as he could already figure out what might happen. While genuinely surprised by the sheer upbeatness of the woman in front of him, the young man found himself wanting nothing more than to return his rest and relaxation under the tree. 'Please... just let me rest for today!'
"Well, no need to be picky! Come on!" Finding himself in the hand of the Scarlet Harnell, a level 6, and with the desire to keep a low profile, the young man stopped himself from releasing the Eternal dragon seal that kept most of his powers (in terms of levels and basic abilities) locked away.
"Curse my double-edged sword called Luck," The young undead whispered as he was dragged by a highly excitable bunch of a more tolerable, more peaceful, and more likable versions of the Marines from One Piece called the Astraea Familia.
Oh boy, it seems like Ren's attempts to try and circumvent Loki backfired and he is being blackmailed by her.
clarification: Ren can solo Ottar if he uses his top two Classes and IF Ottar does not beat or knock him fast enough. While he has classes that can make it easy to fight Ottar, Ottar will still be capable of beating him due to his experience. The faster Ottar can beat him, the higher the chance that he will win, but the longer the fight goes, Ren's chance of victory increases.
Sneak peek at Ren's classes.
Hybrid tank (strongest class) (sealed due to skill) (can only be used once the undead status is removed) (can solo anything that doesn't kill it instantly)
Dodge Melee * 2
Caster classes * 6 (4 offensive casters) (1 defensive caster (second best class)) (1 power caster)
Side note:
Since this fic is an AU, it will stray a bit from canon. You have been warned.
