Only after two days did Athena and Poseidon leave their home. The couple's house was still the same one that Hephaestus had created as an emergency, but the couple didn't care about that.
The first thing the couple noticed when they left the house was that Hephaestus had already prepared the location where the wedding would take place. Since there were fewer than 10 Gods, the place was small.
Even though it was small, the place was brilliantly stylized. Gold was Zeus' favorite color, so Hephaestus decided to change the color. Silver was the most dominant color, something Poseidon liked a lot.
'Maybe I should ask Hephaestus to make all Olympus silver... no, I promised I would let everyone make the modifications he wanted.'
The couple kept walking until they found Aphrodite, who looked like she was waiting for someone. When Aphrodite noticed Athena and Poseidon, she ran towards them, '' Finally! We thought both of you had decided to hibernate.''
Athena noticed Aprodithe's anxiety, '' What is it?''
Aphrodite shook her head, to show that everything was okay, then grabbed Athena's hand, '' Follow me for a moment!''
Then Aphrodite shot a glare at Poseidon, '' Don't follow us! Hephaestus, Apollo, and Dyonisus are gathered there. They want to talk to you too!''
After saying this, Aprodithe practically dragged a confused Athena to a hidden location.
Poseidon, who understood nothing, stood there for a few moments. Just as he was about to start moving, Poseidon noticed Hephaestus coming toward his position, from a different location than Aphrodite.
''You're late!'' Hephaestus also didn't explain anything and pulled Poseidon to a location.
Arriving at the place, Dyonisus and Apollo were already there and dressed more sophisticated than normal. Poseidon finally noticed, '' The wedding will be today?''
Hephaestus passed clothes more appropriate for weddings to Poseidon, '' Yes! Now go get dressed.''
Poseidon noticed that the clothes were almost the same, only the colors changed. Apollo wearing yellow, Hephaestus silver, Dyonisus purple, and Poseidon blue.
After changing his clothes, Poseidon met with the Gods again, "So, how do we do the ceremony? I have no idea how to do one.''
Apollo looked at Poseidon, '' So, we decided to leave the ceremony in your hands.''
Poseidon was confused, '' I just said I don't know how to do wedding ceremonies, and you ask me to do one?''
Apollo nodded, '' It's like you said before, it is a new era. With that comes new customs. You can do whatever ceremony you want.''
'' Are you sure? Maybe Artemis won't agree to this.'' Poseidon was already thinking about what to do, but he wanted to make sure everyone was in agreement with it.
"She agreed. So please, make it a memorable ceremony!'' Apollo said, and from the look in his eyes, he trusted Poseidon.
Poseidon smiled and patted Apollo on the shoulder, '' Leave it to me!''
But Poseidon remembered one thing, '' How will I be able to talk with the women, to tell them about the ceremony?''
Apollo explained, ''Isis will be the mediator. You call her and tell her what it's going to be like, and she'll tell the others.''
Poseidon nodded and began to think about how to make this a good ceremony, ' Make it like my old Earth? But it still wouldn't be good... maybe a party before and a traditional wedding? But that would be too boring...'
It took a while before Poseidon smirked. When Apollo, Hephateus, and Dyonisus saw that smile, they trembled.
'' ... Poseidon, what are you thinking about?'' Hephaestus said with fear in his voice.
'' Oh, you're going to love this... IRIS!'' Poseidon called out to Iris.
The messenger of the gods appeared in less than 10 seconds, '' Did you call me?''
Poseidon nodded then dragged her to a private place and started whispering to her.
Apollo, Hephaestus, and Dyonisus tried to listen but heard nothing. They did, however, notice Iris' features, which changed from normal to shock in a moment.
When Poseidon finished speaking, Iris looked at the trio and smirked before disappearing from the scene.
Poseidon returned to the scene and said to the three of them, '' Get ready for the party... Grab some swords and shields, you'll need them.''
The trio noticed that Poseidon was enjoying this situation too much. Hephaestus decided to ask, '' Why do we need this?''
''It's part of the ceremony! And bring plenty of food too! And drinks!'' Poseidon gave the orders and returned to his and Athena's house to get his Trident and Shield.
When he returned to the men's place, Poseidon noticed that they understood a little of the situation, since they were armed to the teeth.
''Where are your clothes for the wedding?'' Poseidon asked.
The trio pointed to the side, where the clothes were lying.
Poseidon smiled at them, '' Calm down, the situation won't be that bad... I think!''
That was not enough to calm the trio.
''Well, take your clothes with you. Because, after all, this is a wedding!''
The trio decided to take their clothes, put them somewhere safe, and take them with them.
"Let's go!'' Poseidon said as he led the trio to a new location, away from the wedding.
Once there, the Goddesses, except Isis, were all dressed for battle.
Apollo, Dionysus, and Hephaestus almost fainted when they saw the scene while Poseidon was calm.
''This will be the ceremony. A free-for-all battle between men and women! No killing the opponent! Everything else is free!''
Poseidon then prepared for battle, '' Iris will be the observer. She will keep an eye on everything. But, she can participate in the battle if she wants! Good luck.''
Iris looked at Poseidon, who nodded. Then, she looked at Athena, who also nodded, '' Okay! The rules are what Poseidon said! Everything is liberated, except killing! Begin!''
The first people to attack were Hestia and Demeter. They both came at Dyonisus with such speed that he could barely defend himself.
Hephaestus tried to help, but Aphrodite wouldn't let him, '' Dear... why do you spend so much time in the forge?''
Hephaestus began to sound cold, '' Honey, calm down... it's my job! It's not my fault!''
Hephaestus tried to ask Poseidon for help, but when he looked in his direction, he noticed the God of the Seas smiling at him.
'Poseidon! Traitor!'
'' Oh... so your work is more important than me?'' Aphrodite began to approach Hephateus calmly.
When Hephaestus realized that Poseidon was not going to help and that Aphrodite was not listening, he closed his eyes. When he opened them again, his gaze was determined.
"Come, dear!'' Hephaestus accepted that he was going to have to take some beating today.
Aphrodite began to attack him with everything she had, and since her equipment was one of the best in Olympus, thanks to Hephaestus himself, the God of Forges was sent to the defense in seconds.
''You've neglected me for years! Take this!'' Since Aphrodite was not known for her battle powers, Hephaestus made a powerful spear for her.
And the spear was working perfectly, practically destroying the sword Hephaestus was using to defend himself. Hephaestus knew he couldn't hurt his wife, so he stayed on the defensive, without counterattacking.
Poseidon stared at the scene and smiled. Then he looked at Dionysius.
Dionysius' situation was the same, but since he was attacked by two people, he was getting some damage here and there, but no life-threatening injury. Luckily for him, Hestia and Demeter were benevolent, so their blows didn't do much damage.
Then Poseidon focused on Apollo and Artemis, the couple who were to be married today. To Poseidon's surprise, the couple was chatting amicably.
Poseidon was disappointed. But after some thought, he decided to do something about it, 'Let's force the couple to act a little.'
Poseidon then began to move towards Apollo and Artemis. It didn't take long for the two to notice Poseidon, and they instantly prepared for battle.
Poseidon said to Apollo, ''It's man against woman, don't forget that.''
Apollo still didn't leave Artemis' side.
"Look at that! What a protective husband!'', Poseidon then attacked Artemis.
Apollo defended one attack, but Poseidon kept attacking. Artemis defended the second, and the couple fought against Poseidon.
Using his powers over water, Poseidon used the water they had brought for the wedding and threw several water spears in their direction.
While Apollo was distracted trying to defend the spears, Poseidon took the opportunity to attack Artemis.
Of course, he was not attacking seriously and was waiting for someone else to appear.
Just as the attack was about to hit Artemis, Poseidon felt the presence of the person he had been waiting for, 'Finally!'
Just as the attack was about to hit, Poseidon's Trident was stopped by a shield, which had a lion in front of it.
The attack caused Artemis and Athena, who had managed to fend off the attack, to be dragged backward. Apollo, who finally got rid of the spears, regrouped with the two.
"Hello, my love!'' Poseidon said to Athena, ''You look more beautiful today.''
Athena smiled at Poseidon, '' You look good too... Now, shall we continue?'' She said as she lifted Aegis.
"Let's go!'' Poseidon raised his Trident and prepared to attack.
Poseidon attacked Athena, who defended herself with Aegis, and Artemis and Apollo attacked Poseidon.
Poseidon saw that he was about to be hit and used his Shield, which was attached to his back. He turned around, and the attack hit the shield. The couple's attack was absorbed by the shield.
Poseidon then took his Trident from the fight with Aegis and used it to attack the couple.
Apollo did his best to defend, but he was thrown far away, while Artemis managed to dodge and began to use her bow and arrow.
Poseidon took the shield from his back and used it together with his Trident, each in one hand. He raised his shield and used it to defend from Artemis' arrows, then threw his Trident at her.
Athena then jumped in front of Artemis, defended Poseidon's attack, and then made sure his Trident stayed far away from him.
Poseidon didn't mind not using his Trident and used his power over water to launch a wave in the direction of Athena and Aphrodite.
Apollo, who finally returned, launched several attacks with his laser-like powers toward Poseidon, who was forced to defend himself.
As he defended himself, Poseidon lost his grip on the wave and saw that Athena and Artemis dodged to the side.
' This is quite amusing!' Poseidon also noticed that Artemis, Athena, and Apollo were smiling and enjoying themselves.
Poseidon used some of his attention, looked at the situation between Hephaestus and Dionysus, and saw that they were smiling. Hestia, Demeter, and Aphrodite were enjoying it too.
Dodging an arrow from Artemis, Poseidon used his water powers to create a rope and grabbed his Trident from the ground. Athena tried to stop him, but couldn't.
With the Trident with him, Poseidon decided to do something more interesting.
Since they were fighting far away from the wedding ceremony site, Poseidon took all the water around and placed it above them.
This made all the other gods stop fighting and look up. ''Oh, shit!'', Hephaestus cursed.
Poseidon smiled, "Happy wedding!" and unleashed all the water on the Gods.
The 'attack' did no damage, but got everyone wet and made everyone focus on Poseidon. Even Iris, the observer, looked at Poseidon.
' Oh well.' Even seeing that he was now everyone's focus, Poseidon was smiling. He put the shield in front of him and did the same with the Trident, '' Come!''
The Gods looked at each other and nodded. They didn't run to attack but slowly surrounded Poseidon. Poseidon noticed that Athena was talking to Artemis, Iris, and Aphrodite, probably plotting a plan.
Poseidon got tired of waiting for an attack and focused on Dyonisus, the slowest of the Gods present. Running in front of Dionysus, Poseidon attacked with his Trident, but Apollo defended the attack while Hephaestus used the opportunity to attack from behind.
Poseidon knew they were going to do this, but when he went to defend against the attack, he noticed that his feet were stuck in the ground. Someone was using their powers to hold him in place.
'Look at that!' Poseidon noticed that Hestia and Demeter had their hands on the ground and were looking at him with a smile.
Seeing that the situation was no longer favorable, Poseidon used a little more force and kicked the ground, breaking the earth holding him in place, and turned to defend himself.
But as he did so, Dionysus who was defending himself against his attack, joined Apollo and then attacked his back.
Seeing that attacks were coming from both directions, Poseidon decided to accept one, 'Hephaestus will be the chosen one.'
Letting Hephaestus' attack hit, Poseidon used his Trident to attack the duo of Apollo and Dionysus.
The two tried to defend but were thrown far away.
Poseidon did not get away with this, as Hephaetus' attack had done some damage.
Without the distraction of the duo, Poseidon turned to Hephaestus and attacked. Hestia and Demeter, seeing this, decided to help.
They joined Hephaestus and managed to fend off one of Poseidon's attacks, who then used water as a wave again, and launched it at the trio.
The wave hit the trio, who separated, and Poseidon used the opportunity to send Hephaesuts flying away.
'The men are out of the fight for now...'
Focusing on the duo Hestia and Demeter, Poseidon headed in their direction. Just then a breeze passed over him, and Poseidon defended on instinct.
Isis had just attacked but didn't manage to hit Poseidon. Noticing that the other Goddesses entered the fight, Poseidon stopped going after Hestia and Demeter.
When he stopped, he realized that he was surrounded by all the other gods, including Apollo, Hephaestus, and Dionysius.
Poseidon looked at Athena, '' Finally thought of a good plan?''
Athena smiled, '' It took a while, but I think it will be enough!''
Poseidon used his water powers and made a barrier around her. He stood inside her with his Trident and Shield, ''Come!''
What happened after Poseidon said that, was a bombardment of powers over him. Thunder, Fire, Sun, all of it hit him.
After it was over, the Gods stopped attacking and waited for the dust to settle to see the result.
What the Gods didn't expect was that a rope made of water would catch Athena's feet and pull her into the curtain of dust.
This took the Gods by surprise, and they tried to help Athena but couldn't see anything.
IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SMOKE
Poseidon was holding Athena in his arms. The Goddess was not very surprised to see that Poseidon was ok.
''Now what?'' Poseidon asked Athena. Poseidon knew he had won and was smiling.
Athena smirked and whispered something in Poseidon's ears, who then looked extremely shocked.
' Her plan was counting on her being captured... Athena is a demon!'
Poseidon said in a trembling voice, '' You wouldn't do that to me, right?''
Athena still had a smirk on her face, '' Do you want to risk it?
Poseidon decided not to risk it and gave up, '' You win!''
Athena kissed Poseidon, '' I knew you'd see reason.''
Then she tapped Poseidon's chest, and he dramatically fell to the ground.
It took a while for the dust to settle, but when it did, the Gods noticed that Poseidon was on the ground while Athena had a sword on him.
Poseidon took the cue and said while lying down, '' The wedding can begin!''
The Gods then celebrated their victory and went to the location of the wedding.
Poseidon got up from the floor and said to Athena, "Today, I want extra attention!''
Athena kissed him again, "Anything you want, my love.''
This improved the mood of Poseidon, and the couple went to the ceremony.
After taking some time to change clothes, Athena and Poseidon arrived at the ceremony. Everyone else was there, excluding Isis and Artemis.
Poseidon went to talk with Apollo, while Athena went to talk to Aphrodite.
In the talk with Apollo, Poseidon got emotional with the atmosphere. He thought for a while and talked with Apollo, '' Do you mind if the wedding became of 2 couples?''
Apollo was surprised but nodded soon after, '' Of course! Does Athena knows about this?''
Poseidon shook his head, '' No, it will be a special surprise!''
Then Poseidon looked at Athena and Aphrodite. He and Aphrodite looked at each other, and Poseidon made a signal with his eyes.
Aphrodite noticed this, said goodbye to Athena and approached Poseidon.
Athena noted that Poseidon whispered something into Aprodithe ears, who then looked shocked and surprised before smiling. Aphrodite talked with Poseidon some more and came towards Athena.
'' What did you talk about?'' Athena asked curiously.
Aphrodite didn't answer but called Hestia and Demeter over. She whispered something to both of them, and they smiled.
'' Follow me for a moment!'' Aphrodite then went toward where Artemis was and made the Goddess follow her.
Poseidon also called Hephaestus and Dyonisus over and talked to them about his sudden wedding with Athena, '' I decided to go with the flow and marry Athena. It would've happened sooner or later, and I prefer sooner.''
Then Poseidon looked at Dyonisus, '' What about you? Do you want to marry Hestia and Demeter today?''
Dionysus shook his head, '' In our case, it's too soon. Maybe in a few years.''
Poseidon said nothing and waited. 20 minutes later, Artemis and Athena appeared dressed differently than the other goddesses. Aphrodite would be the one who gave the blessing to the couples.
Athena and Artemis approached the place where Apollo and Poseidon were. Poseidon was in awe at Athena's beauty, '' ... wow.''
Athena made an angry face at Poseidon, '' You could've told me about this earlier!''
Poseidon smiled at her, '' I wanted to marry you since the first time I saw you, this is just accelerating the inevitable.''
Athena tried to stay mad but sighed, and a smile formed, '' You're right... I love you.''
'' I love you too.''
Both couples then looked at Aphrodite, who came over and started to explain what means marriage between Gods. '' A marriage between Gods is significantly more important than those of mortals. This would be an unbreakable bond between both of you. You would share your powers and many more things.''
'' The only way to break this bond is Death. This marriage is for eternity... Are the couples okay with this?''
''''' Yes!'''''
No hesitation was heard in the 4 voices.
Aphrodite nodded, '' Then, by my power, I declare the Gods in front of me are now married!'' Powers started to flow out of Aphrodite and formed an unbreakable bond between Apollo and Artemis, and Athena and Poseidon.
The couples noticed their emotions could now be felt more clearly, and their powers could be shared more easily.
They thought it was over, but another wave of power hit them. They looked over at Aphrodite, who was making a 'tehehe' face, '' ...Ops, that was my mistake.''
Poseidon already noticed something rising, and it was not the Shield Hero, '' ... Aprodithe, what did you do?''
'' A present!''
' Clink!' The sound of something shattering came from behind Poseidon. When he looked at it, he noted that Dyionisus, Hestia, and Demeter were kissing each other, almost like they didn't care if anyone saw them.
Hephaestus also was looking quite distraught and looking at Aphrodite with lustful eyes. Iris was already naked near him.
'' This present was an aphrodisiac!?'' Poseidon was resisting the powers, but it was getting difficult.
Apollo and Artemis have already run away to do the deed, while Aphrodite got nude and approached Hepahetus and Isis, '' Yes! Enjoy.''
Poseidon noted that Athena was holding herself back. Not wanting to be in an orgy right now, he carried Athena and rushed to their house.
They took off their clothes instantly and started kissing. Poseidon broke the kiss, '' This is not how I expected our wedding to end.''
Athena smiled, '' I'm also surprised... but I like the situation quite a bit.''
Poseidon kissed her again, '' I'll love you for as long I'm alive.''
'' We are immortals, so that will be a very long time...'' Athena laid down on the bed
Poseidon followed her, '' I know.''
''I'll love you for eternity!''
