Julia- "Things are changing; there's no denying that," Gally said, his voice firm. "First Ben gets stung in broad daylight, and then Alby." "And now our Greenie here has taken it upon himself to go into the Maze, which violates our rules." "Yeah, but he saved Alby's life," Frypan chimed in from behind Newt. Gally looked surprised. "Did he?" he asked. I looked over at him, shaking my head in disbelief. The shuck does that even mean? "For years, we've co-existed with these things, and now, you've killed one of them," Gally continued, turning around to point at Thomas. "Who knows what that could mean for us?" he asked. When Newt asked Gally what he thinks we should about it, Gally said Thomas needed to be punished, which caused immediate uproar. "Julia, what do you think, love?" Newt asked me. Everyone's eyes were on me now.

I sighed and sat up straight. "I'm pretty sure I made my opinion on all this perfectly clear the other day, so I'm just going to say what I want to say and be done with it." Newt nodded and told me to go ahead. "This idiot Greenie behind me risked his life to save two people he hardly knows, while we did nothing," Gally interrupted me, "Woah, babe," he started, but I flung my hand up, snapping my fingers sharply. "You shut up," I growled. "And not only did the Greenie live, but he killed a shucking Griever and brought back our leader and Minho!" I paused, glancing at the Keeper. "Which is shocking because Minho is useless," I teased, but my heart was only half in it. Some boys laughed, while he looked offended. "I'm kicking your ass when this is over," he snapped at me. I scoffed and turned away from him. "Look, the short version is this; Thomas deserves recognition for what he's done, but I do acknowledge he broke our rule. So, punish him, but nothing major. Maybe a day in the Pit or something, I don't care."

Gally was staring at me, dumbfounded. Newt thanked me and then addressed Minho for his opinion. His response was along the lines of my own, but then he said something stupid, and I almost got up to hit him for it. "Make him a Runner." Everyone except Chuck was not on board with that idea, especially Gally. He started yelling at everyone, but then he got cut off… by the sound of the Box alarm. He and I both looked at Newt, then we ran outside. The Box was coming up. Oh, come on! I cannot take anymore crap today! I inwardly whined. And then, as if the universe wanted to add onto my suffering, I looked into the Box and almost screamed. There was a girl. Why in the shucking hell is there a girl?! I was instantly on high alert. I looked at this girl with sharp eyes and a growl. She was unconscious, clutching something in her hand. Everyone had gathered around the Box, all looking as confused as Gally and Newt.

Newt jumped into the Box and opened her hand; it was a note, which he read out loud. "She's the last one. Ever." Suddenly, the girl was awake, breathing wildly. She looked around and then said something that some managed to make everything even worse; she recognized Thomas. And just like that, I felt a wave of instant distrust. I glared at him, and then Gally spoke, "Still think I'm overreacting?" he asked us. Thomas looked scared, and to be honest, I'm glad he did. He should be. The Med-jacks carried her into their Hut, Minho and Newt followed with Thomas, but I stayed outside with Gally and the others. "Oh, don't worry Julia; you're still the prettiest one here," Winston joked. I whipped around and snarled, and he backed away. "Sorry, not the right time," he said. I stomped off, climbing up the watchtower and pacing back and forth. Gally looked up at me from where he stood, but I didn't acknowledge him. I couldn't deal with him right now. I'm probably the only one who understands his opinions and the way he's acting, but he's being an ass about it.

After a few moments, I saw Thomas waltz out of the Med-hut, Minho running up behind him, stopping him in his tracks. They spoke for a moment, then glanced over at the other Runners, all of whom quitted this morning, and I was ticked about that too, then Minho walked off. Thomas stood for a bit before walking off, and I got suspicious. I climbed down and followed Minho, who was talking to Fry and some other Keepers. "Minho, what's going on?" I growled. They all jumped, wary of my bad mood. "Princess," Minho started, in an overly cherry voice. "Cut the crap, Min, answer me!" He looked like he'd rather be doing anything else but talking to me, but he sighed, doing as he was told. "We're going back into the Maze," he said quietly. All the rage inside me turned up into boiling and ready to explode. "We won't be long, I swear. We're going to check out the dead Griever and then come back," he rushed out.

"And who's idea, pray tell, was this?" I hissed out. The lack of answer told me what I needed to know. Oh, this Greenie is gonna wish he was dead! "Look, you don't have to like it, but please, Julia, just cover for us," Minho pleaded. I stood there, frozen in anger, one second away from punching his face. He reached out to squeeze my hand, then walked off with the others. This son of a! That's it! I am so done! I stomped off, following them secretly. I pulled my knife out and kept it hidden in my sleeve. I hid while Minho talked to Thomas, asking if everyone he brought would be enough people. Before they could leave, I came out. "I'm going too," I snapped, making them all jump. Thomas was bug-eyed, and Minho opened his mouth immediately to protest, but I got in his face and pointed my blade at his chest. "Minho; if I push my blade even an inch further, I'm going to kill you. I don't want to hear anything come out of your mouth, got it?" He looked scared out of his mind.

"Okay, hold on a minute," Thomas started, but I flung Minho out of the way, and reached out to grab the Greenie by his hair, yanking him down so he could stare up into my face. "I especially don't want to hear from you either, shank. I already didn't trust you that much. Now? I'm on Gally's side, and I take back anything remotely good I said about you." No one moved to stop me, which is good, because in my rage, I could kill everyone right now. "Your ass is getting punished, locked up, something, when we come back, and every time you try to complain, I'll punch you wherever I can reach." I flung him away, and he nearly fell over, then I turned around to the boys, making them all jump a hundred feet back. "Anyone want to say anything?" I snarled. Minho opened his mouth, but I pointed my knife at him. And he flung his hands up and zipped it. "Now, let's go," I ordered. Thomas looked at me a moment, then lead us all away and into the Maze. "Gally is going to kill you," Minho said. I scoffed, keeping up with him and Thomas. "I can handle my boyfriend, shank. Now shut up."

We turned a few corners, and there it was; smushed inside two walls, guts spilling out. We all looked it over, then Thomas pointed something out; a blinking, red light, coming from inside the Griever. Minho stuck his hand inside, trying to reach, but then the leg that was sticking out snapped and moved. We all jumped back, and I held my knife out, ready to attack if I needed to. Then Thomas had the idea to pull it out, so we all grabbed onto the leg, and pulled as hard as we could. Minho picked up some of the guts, and pulled out whatever was blinking, which turned out to be some weird device, covered in goo. "Whatever it is, can we look at it back inside the Glade?" Fry said, fear in his voice. Minho agreed, and we all left. Once we reached the Glade, Chuck stopped us. "Gally found out about you guys leaving and called a Keeper meeting. He's in there with Newt and the Med-jacks." Then he looked at me, scared, "Julia; they're both angry. They know you left." I rolled my eyes and followed Minho and the others, so not ready for the lecture I was probably going to get.

Gally- Jeff had just opened the door, about to leave, but Minho walked in, followed by his little group, Thomas, and… I marched up and grabbed Julia by the shoulders, yanking her over and pushing her against a beam. "Are you out of your shucking mind?! What the hell is wrong with you?!" I screamed in her face. "Are you trying to give us a bloody heart attack, Julia?!" Newt snapped from behind me. "What is going on with you?! First you have all these breakdowns, saying all this clunk about us doing nothing, and now you think it's okay for you to go into the shucking Maze?!" She said nothing while I screamed at her, but anger burned in her eyes too, and she was seething. "Minho, what the hell were you thinking?!" Newt yelled at him. "Hey, the psycho-bitch had me at knife-point, and threatened me and Thomas, so don't come after me!" he yelled back.

I almost went over to punch him for the insult but turned back to Julia. "And now you're threatening people? Are you kidding me, babe?" Glaring at me, she slowly pushed me away from her and stood her ground. She looked ready to fight me, if I'm being honest. She looked over at Thomas and glared at him. "Show them, Greenie," she growled. He handed Newt some weird thing, covered in dried, black, liquid. Apparently, it came from inside the Griever. "Newt, we have to go back out there. Who knows where this could lead us." This shuck-faced idiot is going to get us all killed! I screamed in my head. Julia looked ready to kill him, too. At least we're on the same side about that! I started complaining to Newt about how the shank needed to be punished, and Julia stepped in, fully backing me up. I looked at her, shocked. "Love, I really don't want to hear it from you right now," Newt snapped at her. Everyone looked stunned that he would talk to her like that, and I almost punched him too. She narrowed her eyes and approached him, slowly and deadly, then got up in his face.

"Either you punish him, or I will. Because at least one of us knows how to lead properly!" she snarled at him. His eyes widened, flashing, as he started at her in anger and disbelief. "You're supposed to be in charge, Newt. So, act like it!" I couldn't even comprehend what was happening, and neither could anyone else; we all had the same dumbfounded expression. Julia scoffed and walked away from Newt, standing by herself on the other side of the room. Newt watched her, seething, his chest rising and falling rapidly. Finally, he looked away from her, and focused on the Greenie. He agreed Thomas needed to be punished, "One night in the pit with no food." Are you shucking kidding me?! Julia scoffed and looked ready to argue, but I beat her to it. "You think one night in the pit is going to stop him from going back into the Maze?" I yelled. "No. And we can't have non-Runners going around into the Maze either. So, let's make it official; starting tomorrow, Tommy, you're a Runner."

Silence. Julia and I shared the same look of outrage. "Wow!" That's it! I'm out of here! Fry tried to stop me, but I yanked my arm away, slamming the door shut.

Julia- Yeah, I think I'm gonna kill him, too; I thought. I marched back up to Newt, got back in his face, and snarled, "I can't even look at you right now." I ripped the door open and blew past Fry, who was following Gally. "I got it!" I snapped at him. I kept walking and then yelled over my shoulder, addressing the entire Glade, "If anyone hears noises, you keep your mouths shut or I'll start cutting tongues out!" Everyone jumped out of my way, or moved back to make sure they were nowhere near me, as I stormed over to my hut. I flung open the door, shut it, and leaned against it as I watched Gally pace back and forth. He started ranting about everything, and as pissed as I was with him, I was wholly on his side right now. Then he turned his anger on me, but he stayed where he was. "And you! What the hell is going on with you?!" I glared at him, crossing my arms. "If you keep screaming at me, we're going to have a problem, Gally." He was seething at this point, then he turned his back to me, punching the pole that held my hammock up. "Why is no one listening to me? I'm right, but everyone just dismisses what I said. And now you…" he trailed off, breathing deeply. I pinched the bridge of my nose and did some deep breathing of my own. When I trusted myself to not flip out, I slowly walked over to Gally and hugged him from behind, resting my head on his shoulder. "I'm on your side, Gally," I whispered. "But you were being an ass about some things, and it pissed me off. I need you to relax; you're tense." Gally was already all muscle, but the stress made him feel like a rock, he was so wound up.

**Smut-Skip if needed!**

My emotions were so out of whack, but I needed to do something to help us both. Thankfully, I know how to handle Gally. I started slowly kissing his neck, gently running my teeth in some spots, but never biting. He inhaled sharply, his body rigid in my arms. "Don't I listen to you, baby?" I purred in his ear, biting it. He threw his head back, giving me more access to him. I slowly ran my nails down his chest and under his shirt. "You might not be in charge out there, but here?" my hands trailed lower to the button of his pants as I whispered, "In here, you know you're in charge of me." His hand clamped down onto mine, stopping me. "I want you on your knees. Now." I moaned at the growl in his voice. He turned around to face me, his eyes dark. I unbuttoned his pants and slowly, oh so slowly, I sunk to my knees, never breaking eye contact with him. I ran my hands down his legs, then reached up and pulled his glorious cock out. It had been some time since I did this for him, but I knew what he liked. I licked the tip, savoring the taste of pre-cum that was there. Then he grabbed at my neck, tipping it backward, so he could look down into my face.

"I'm going to fuck that pretty, little mouth, and you're going to take all of it," he growled. I licked my lips; already feeling wet. "Please do," I begged him. He smirked, rubbing his thumb across my mouth. I went to bite it, but he stopped me. "Nice try," he purred. "Now open." That was a command, and I had zero problems obeying. He thrust his cock deep down my throat, moaning and gripping the back of my head tightly, just the way I loved it. I sucked a few times until he started fucking my mouth. I closed my eyes, relishing in the feeling. Gally was thick, and he knew how much I loved doing this. I could feel just how soaked I was, but I waited; I knew I would get release if I obeyed. The telltale signs of Gally's release snapped me back into focus, and I ran my tongue along the underside of his cock, and that broke him. He came down my throat with a loud moan, and I took it all, loving the taste. Once he got his breathing under control, he slowly pulled out, groaning from the feeling, and grabbed my chin. "Good girl," he whispered. He reached down and pulled me into his arms, then laid me down on the sleeping bag. He could see my legs trembling, he knew I needed release.

He teased me first, sticking his fingers inside my jeans and touching me, but then he decided to be kind and remove them all together. He slowly opened my legs, stroking my inner thighs, placing a few kisses and bites on them before his tongue finally touched me. What I really wanted was his cock inside me, but since he just orgasmed, I would take this too. Gally had two ways of doing this; acting like he was starved and would die if he didn't taste me, or deliciously slow, making sure I was writhing and begging for more. Right now, it was the former, and I was going nuts, moaning loudly, gripping his hair tight, which I knew he loved. Finally, he brought me to release, my legs twitching like crazy. I always saw stars when Gally had me, and he didn't disappoint.

**End of smut**

He licked his lips, then kissed my forehead, laying next to me and pulling me into his arms. We lay there for who knows how long before I spoke. "I need to talk to Newt." Simple and to the point. Gally nodded and kisses my head again. "And kick Minho's ass," I added. Gally barked out a laugh. "Go get him, baby." He kissed my head once more before gently pulling my chin, turning me towards him. "I love you." I smiled; he always told me he loved me after being intimate. "Mm, say it again," I asked him. He kissed my nose, then nuzzled it. "I love you, Julia." I sighed. "I love you too, Gally."

I got dressed, leaving Gally to sit and think on his own, and went outside, intending to track the boys down. I saw Minho and Newt sitting together near some of the trees over by the woods; Minho looked like he was comforting Newt. The latter was sitting with his head hung, buried in his arms. Shit. I jogged over, stopping a few feet away. Minho looked up at me, fear in his eyes, but Newt didn't move. "Okay, who wants to go first?" I asked. Minho didn't hesitate, and jumped up at me, which I dogged. We taunted each other back and forth, throwing insults or Minho just yelling at me for getting him in trouble. He chased me around the Glade for a while, occasionally trying to swing at me. This is how we bond; like brother and sister, love-hate, hate-love. Finally, he gave up when we reached Newt, who had been watching us with tired eyes.

I sat down next to him and told Minho to beat it. Neither of us spoke, but slowly, Newt reached for my hand, but I pulled away and yanked him into my arms. I probably just broke his back, but I didn't care. Slowly, he hugged me back, burying his face in my hair. "I'm sorry," we said together. He snorted, and I smiled. "I shouldn't have said any of that to you, Newt." "But you're right. I know you're right; I was just scared." I sighed and tucked myself into his side. "I still shouldn't have…" "Slim it, Princess. It's over and I don't want to think about it anymore." He sounded so tired and done with everything, and it scared me, because I knew. "Newt." "Yeah?" he responded, resting his head on my shoulder, like he was going to take a nap. "You're okay, right?" He sat up so quickly he almost head butted me. "Yes, love, I'm fine. I promise." I sighed in relief. Only Minho and I knew. No one was supposed to know but them, and Newt never planned on telling me. But over time, he and I became just as close. Now, there was nothing we could keep from each other.

"You and Gally alright?" he asked, nodding in the direction of my hut. Gally had emerged, stretching, and went over to talk to Fry. I smirked. "Yeah. I can handle him." Newt snickered. "Yeah, we all know," he teased, and I pushed his head away. "Slim it." I pulled him back into my arms, letting him rest while I played with his hair. So. Fluffy! "So, Tommy, huh?" I said casually, but there was a hit of teasing in my words. Newt grunted. "What are you on about?" I scoffed. "I'm not blind, Newt." He turned his head to look up at me. "I have no idea what you're talking about, love." He's either lying, in denial, or doesn't realize it, I thought. So, I tried a different route. "I guess his attractiveness makes up for his stupidity, but only slightly." Newt shot up and stared at me with wide eyes. "Again, are you trying to get us killed? What if Gally heard you?" I frowned and flicked his forehead. "I've seen the way you look at each other, Newt." He stared at me in silence while I smirked at him. "You guys are cute together." His hand shot out and covered my mouth. "Are you out of your shucking mind?!" I raised my eyebrow, giving him a challenging look and removed his hand. "Julia…"

"Hey, someone grab her!" I heard Clint yell. A blue and black blur ran by, and over to the watchtower. The girl was awake. Newt and I looked at each other and ran over. Almost everyone was behind us, but once we all were in range of the watchtower, the girl started throwing stuff, screaming to go away. "Yo!" Fry yelled, holding up a cutting board to me so I could block my head. Then Minho and Thomas showed up, trying to find out what's going on. Winston came over and held up a board to block him and Newt, while Thomas yelled up at the girl. She stopped and looked down. I grabbed one of the rocks and chucked it up at her, successfully hitting her in the face. "Julia!" Newt yelled. "Okay! That was uncalled for," Thomas, of all people, had the nerve to say to me. I snarled at him, and he backed off, telling us that he'd go up there alone. Gally and I did not like that idea because we already didn't trust either of them.

Newt told us all to go back to work and leave them be. Gally and I went over to the pond with two other Builders and watched. "I don't like this," I told him, latching onto his arm and resting my head. "Neither do I, but at least he gets locked up tonight. Don't know what we're doing with her though," he said. I growled. A territorial side of me hated that there was another female in our home, my home. And to make it worse, she knew the guy who had managed to make everything go wrong. That is not a coincidence. "This was planned. I don't know how, but it is. Maybe by the people who put us here, but if they know each other…" I broke off. I should be trying to stay positive, and I really shouldn't feed Gally's already growing stress and distrust, but it is what it is. I glanced over to the other side of the Glade were Newt was standing. He, too, was looking up at Thomas and the girl, and I could see the frown on his face, as well as the clenched fist he held at his side. I smirked, happy with myself. Yep, he's jealous. "What's got you all happy?" Gally asked. I shrugged my shoulders and kissed his cheek. "Nothing at all."
