These four amazing people are necessary to continue trying to finish all my Fairy Tail stories. Also, they are the ones who helped me come up with the specific costumes for each character for this chapter. Enjoy!

Lucy shifted her wig as she glanced at Cobra. She knew she was uncomfortable being dressed in his children's chosen costume. The long robe was form-fitting. Then again, her dress clung to her figure a bit too well.

"Don't, Tinkerballa, just don't."

Lucy gave a soft snort at the surly growl from Cobra and stayed silent.

"Luce, are you two ready?"

The exuberant call from outside the bedroom door had Lucy shaking her head as she put the last wig clip in place. There was no way she'd be losing her wig in public.

"Miss Lucy?"

A low chuckle had Lucy giggling as she met Cobra's gaze. The gang was so excited to go trick-or-treating. Then again, none of them had a normal childhood, nor this little bit of normalcy meant the world to them.

"Alright, munchkins, we are ready," Lucy called out as she closed the distance between her and Cobra. Her hands raised and fixed his hat, then used a spare wig clip to hold it.

The slight stiffening of his body let her know he was still uncomfortable about her being in his personal space. But he gave her a look of gratitude for the help.

"Ready to see what kind of crazy they came up with for Halloween costumes?"

The slight curl of Cobra's lip was all she got as he moved quickly to the door and opened it.

"Wow, Mira chose good costumes for you both," Natsu exclaimed.

Lucy couldn't help but arch a blackened eyebrow at his words while fighting the urge to laugh at his Halloween costume.

"Hime, punishment?"

Jumping, Lucy spun to see Virgo standing behind her with a camera and her usual mischievous smile.

"Later, picture first," Lucy said while enjoying how Virgo's eyes grew wide.

Feeling smug, Lucy faced her brood of mini dragon slayers and looked at what they chose to wear. It was eclectic, cute, and utterly mind-boggling.

"Okay, brats, downstairs to the living room for the picture," Cobra barked.

Lucy felt a hand on her back, giving her a light push. Knowing he was trying to be polite, Lucy complied and followed the children downstairs and into the living room. Which, to her surprise, had been decorated to look like a room from a haunted house. It fit.

"Okay, Luce, you and Cobra sit in the middle of the couch," Natsu commanded. "And we'll sit around you guys."

Lucy felt surprised but did as she was 'commanded.' Soon Wendy was on her right, and Rogue on Cobra's left. Gajeel and Laxus stood behind them while Sting and Natsu sat before them on the floor.

"Say Kumquat!" Virgo called to them as she raised the camera.

Lucy couldn't help but laugh as they(Cobra included)called out 'Kumquat' as a brilliant flash filled her vision. Once she could see again, Lucy saw Virgo waving the photo paper the camera spat out.

"Let's go trick-or-treating and the Guild."

Smiling and rolling her eyes, Lucy let out her amusement for her little brood's antics show.

"Really, they all chose their own costumes?" Mirajane asked as she wiped down the bar top.

"Yup!" Lucy replied, popping the 'p.'

"And you let me pick your's and Cobra's costumes because they insisted?" Mirajane asked.

"Yes, you silver-haired she-devil. Our answers aren't going to change," Cobra snapped.

Lucy rolled her eyes, knowing these two would never get along.

"Well, I, for one, think they are creative," Bickslow said. His tone of voice showed how amused he was.

"They are indeed creative, especially Laxus," Evergreen said. Each word was drawn out as Lucy saw her lips twitch. "He dressed as his grandfather, Master Makarov."

Quickly LUcy brought her hand to her mouth and coughed to hide her laughter. Laxus had been imitating his grandfather while using the 'excuse' it was in character.

"I think Natsu's is adorable and fitting," Lisanna said. "He dressed up as Happy, and Happy dressed up as Natsu. It shows how close they are."

Lucy lowered her hand now that she was able to control her laughter. Looking at the youngest Strauss sibling, she gave a slight nod. The exceeds were banned from her house in the first week. The literal catfight had triggered the mini dragon slayers to fight, damaging the living room.

"True. But Sting-kun and Rogue-kun are adorable and funny, too," Yukino cut in.

Lucy glanced at her friend and saw a glint of mischief in her brown eyes. Lucy knew what Yukino was going to do since Rufus was beside her.

"Yes, their costumes surprised me the most. But Rogue as a Lady Bug fits, considering the various meanings. Though Lady bugs are quiet, non-obtrusive, and shy creatures," Lucy said. "And Sting dressing as a light bulb that lights up due to his magic is 'brilliant.'"

The soft snort from Rufus, who was using his magic to imprint the memory of her pun, showed his amusement at her choice of words.

Shifting her body, Lucy saw Levy spending time with Asuna, who had dressed up as a Cowgirl, and Gajeel and Wendy.

Those two's costumes complimented each other. However, Lucy had been confused about why Gajeel was dressed as the mouse and Wendy the Lion. The roles should have been reversed. But Wendy had beaten Gajeel three out of five times in Rock-paper-scissors to be the lion.

"Well, either way, they're all adorable," Mirajane said, laughing. "They are enjoying their second childhood."

"True," Lucy said.

"But why did you choose Disney villains for us, Mirajane? I mean, Jafar and Maleficent are considered some of the worst Disney villains," Yukino asked.

The low chuckle from Cobra had Lucy laugh aloud as well. They'd already heard the answer from Mirajane. The answer wasn't what they'd expected either.

"Easy, I asked the kid's what they thought I should choose. And they all agreed that Disney princesses, heroes, and heroines were overrated," Mirajane said. That's a good villain with a tragic past that made that villain a total badass."

Lucy couldn't help laughing harder as those around them went blank-faced. It was too perfect and a bit too true since both Cobra and herself had tragic backstories and were considered badass.
