AN: Thank you all so much for the review's last chapter, appreciate the continued support!

Mortal01: Thanks for pointing out the dice on Leonard, I just got into DnD recently and thought it'd be a perfect fit for him. I would honestly love writing Truth and Laser sharks, that's always a dramatic challenge. I also get what you mean on the last challenge. I originally thought about making the challenge involve spending the night in the shelter, but I figured it'd go on for too long, I sort of rushed it at the end.

Now let's get into Episode 3!

"X-TREME PLANES AND PAINS"

Dock of Shame

Chris once again stood in the center of the Dock of Shame doing his signature pose. "Last time, on Total Drama Island!"

Scenes from the previous episode appeared with Chris' voice narrating offscreen, the first scene featured all 24 campers and standing around the trash pile. "After arriving on the island we forced our campers to compete in our first challenge ever, building your own shelter." The next shot featured Chef manning the tennis ball gatling gun. "The supplies they needed were guarded by my Co-Host Chef who inflicted tons of pain" Quick montage of Dakota, Chase, and Leonard getting hit by tennis balls. Followed by the Salmon's treehouse, "The Floating Salmon managed to build a sick treehouse!" A shot of the Wizard Tower collapsing was shown, "Which got immediately ruined by Leonard's terrible wizard tower." Shot of Leonard on the boat of losers, "And to no one's surprise he got voted out right after."

Chris was now lounging in a beach chair on the Dock of Shame and smiling at the camera, "Now the campers will be pushed to the extreme! Who will crack under the pressure? And who will go home in the most dramatic marshmallow ceremony yet? Find out on this episode of TOTAL DRAMA ISLAND!

(A light falls into the frame, shining a beam of light offscreen. A camera suddenly pops out of a tree. Another camera lifts itself out of the water, scaring an unsuspecting frog on a lily pad)

Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doin fine

(The perspective rapidly moves over the Dock of Shame, moving past Chris and Chef, who are both relaxing on chairs at the beach.)

You guys are on my mind!

(The camera flies into the dense tree line of Pahkitew Island)

Ya asked me what I wanted to be

(On the other side is Jasmine, Sammy, and Millie by a bush. Jasmine is searching through the bush, Sammy is holding onto a pile of fruits, and Millie is writing in her notepad. Suddenly a bear runs into frame, causing all three girls to run away)

And I think the answer is plain to see.

(Chase and Amy are walking by a river when suddenly Jasmine, Sammy, and Millie run by followed by the bear. Chase screams and pushes Amy into the Bear's direction.)

I wanna be famous

(Going by the river is Sadie and Katie in a canoe just laughing with one another. Until suddenly they fly down a waterfall, holding onto one another while they fall)

I wanna live close to sun

(At the bottom of the waterfall is Geoff and Bridgette, relaxing on a surfboard smiling at one another. Until Katie and Sadie fell on top of them, sending all four under the water.)

So pack your bags, cause I've already won

(The scene shifts to the interior of a cave, a table featuring a teapot and cups in the center. Damien and Owen are seated in a chair, tied up and gagged, while Lauren places her doll in the third chair and starts to pour tea with a smile.)

Everything to prove, nothing in my way

(In the middle of the woods Leonard is waving a wooden wizard wand to a very interested Cameron, Scarlett who is yawning, and Noah who is rolling his eyes. Suddenly a bird steals the wand from Leonard and flies off.)

I'll get there one day

(In the middle of the woods, DJ is relaxing with a ton of wild animals. Suddenly the wizard wand falls from the sky, startling the animals, who all bite DJ. He runs in terror past Dawn who is in deep meditation, surrounded by candles.

Cause I wanna be famous!

(Sam is secretly playing one of his handheld devices in the confessional. The camera zooms out to reveal Bowie listening in through the side.)

Nanananananananananananananana

(At the top of one of Pahkitew Island's many cliffs, Sky runs into frame jumping up and down with a smile. Tyler runs into frame, followed by Brick who runs a little too far and bumps into Tyler, sending him off the cliff.)

I wanna be! I wanna be! I wanna be famous!

(Dakota gets in front of one of the cameras on the dock of shame and kisses it. She backs up and waves, then pulls out one of her cellphones to call someone. Tyler then falls in the water next to her, splashing her.)

I wanna be! I wanna be! I wanna be famous!

(All 24 campers are sitting around the elimination ceremony fire pit. The camera zooms into Chris and Chef smiling, Chris is holding a plate full of marshmallows. The camera zooms out again with all 24 campers whistling the tune for "I wanna be famous")

Confused Bears Camp

All members of the Confused Bears, excluding Lauren, were sleeping, or trying to sleep in their makeshift shelter. It was a tight fit and clearly uncomfortable but at this moment they all looked relaxed and calm, rare moments of peace in this insane game. Then suddenly a loud anthem started playing under the shelter waking everyone up in various states of panic.

Sammy shot out of bed with disheveled hair, "I'm up Amy!"

DJ looked around with groggy eyes, "I'm not late for school am I mama?"

Sam jumped out of the shelter putting his hands over his ears, "My ears!"

"What is that horrible noise!?" Millie yelled out while covering her ears.

The only camper who looked relatively calm about the situation was Brick who tied his military boots with a smile and reached under the shelter pulling out the source of the noise, an alarm clock with two massive horns on the side. Brick calmly tapped the bell on top and stretched before turning to the rest of his team, "Rise and shine soldiers!"

Brick's smile dropped upon seeing ten very angry people all glaring at him, including Bowie who flipped the bird at him. Geoff picked up a rock off the ground with an emotionless expression and dropped it onto the alarm smashing it to pieces. Brick sank to his knees and cradled the remnants, "NOOOO ALARMY!"

Confessional

Brick: (He's holding the remains of his alarm clock) Come back to me buddy, give me a toot! (After a brief period of silence, he starts sobbing again)

Geoff apologetically put a hand on his shoulder, "Sorry man but this isn't boot camp anymore. What time was it even set for?"

"6 am sharp. I thought it'd be a good way to get the blood pumping for us." Brick said, looking up at Geoff.

"Dude, most of us are wiped after that gnarly party last night," Geoff said, gesturing to a very angry Dakota in sunglasses.

Dakota stormed up to Brick, "6 am!? You ruined my beauty sleep!"

Sam strolled on over to comfort Dakota, "What more beauty sleep do you need? You are already-" Dakota lifted her sunglasses to reveal bloodshot eyes with bags under them. Sam recoiled, "GREAT SONS OF ORION!" he yelled out before catching himself, "I mean you still look great; I mean just look at your nostrils!" Sam gave an awkward smile while Dakota looked uncomfortable.

Confessional

Sam: First I recoiled then I complimented her nostrils? (He facepalms) If this was a video game, my score would be in the negatives. I only have one recovery item left, time to use it.

"Aw thanks, you have nice uh…" Dakota trailed off while looking at the still smiling Sam. "I'll have to get back to you on that one" She turned to leave the painful conversation, but Sam called out to her, "Wait!"

Sam pulled out one of his game consoles that had a hastily taped on tinfoil antenna on the top of it and handed it to Dakota. "I made this for you, it should allow you to connect to the internet and make calls."

Dakota's face lit up upon seeing the device and hugged it, "Thank you, thank you, thank you! You are the best!"

Sam nonchalantly rubbed the back of his head while blushing, "Oh it's no big deal, just wanted to help."

Confessional

Dakota: I knew I could count on nerds, they're lowkey amazing! (She pulls out the console) Now it's time to update the Dakotazoids, that's what I call my fans!

Sam: Phew, my recovery on that was almost as good as Kirbo's in Super Bash Siblings! All it took me was a game console and some tinfoil I took from the last challenge. Thank god most game consoles nowadays are just big phones.

On the other side of camp Sammy was sitting on a rock and eating leftover chicken for breakfast. Bowie walked up to her with his own bag of leftover chicken in hand, "Mind if I sit here?" Sammy smiled and moved over to allow Bowie to sit with her.

Bowie sat down with a smile, "Thanks! So how are you doing after our apocalyptic wakeup call?"

Sammy let out a short laugh, "Despite that sudden wakeup, I am feeling great! I am so glad to not be the first boot like Amy predicted."

Bowie raised an eyebrow, "Your own sister said you'd be the first to go? Seriously, what is her deal? She seems terrible."

"She views me as a lesser Amy and blames me for all her shortcomings but makes me do everything back home! She is a monster!" Sammy breathed a sigh of relief before clasping her hands over her mouth in shock, "Oh my gosh, I've never told anyone that before! Please keep it a secret!"

Bowie put a hand over his chest, "Your secrets safe with me." He then put a comforting hand on Sammy's shoulder, "I am sorry you had to deal with her for so long. I got your back though, if she tries anything like that I'll put her in her place."

Sammy's eyes widened, "You'd do that? But why?"

"Because we're friends, duh!" Bowie said cheerfully which got a smile out of Sammy.

Confessional

Sammy: No Amy in sight and I'm making friends? This place is paradise! Aside from having to live outdoors and the challenges.

Bowie: An alliance starts with two people and forming a friendship is a surefire way to create one. Plus, I like Sammy's vibe and her sister sounds like a brat that I'd enjoy taking down.

Bowie continued his pitch to Sammy, "I'd also like for us to go far enough in this game to crush her, assuming she makes it far."

Sammy looked unsure, "I dunno if I have the skills or knowledge to make it far, not going home first was honestly beyond my expectations."

"Don't worry, I've studied reality tv my entire life, I can help you! My first bit of advice is to analyze who is popular around camp. Some people are already killing the social game." Bowie then pointed towards the center of camp.

Geoff, DJ, Katie, and Sky were all conversing with one another in front of the shelter. "You know how to host a party, man." DJ said, giving Geoff a fist bump.

Geoff modestly shrugged off the compliment, "Been doing it since I was six years old, it comes naturally to me."

"It felt good to cut back for once, back home I have no time for partying" Sky said, joining in on the conversation. Geoff had a baffled look on his face upon hearing Sky's statement

Confessional

Geoff: No time for partying!? That's like having no time for breathing and breathing is important!

Sky looked around and noticed a frown on Katie's face, "You doing, ok?" she asked out of concern for her teammate.

Katie shook her head and sat on the shelter, "I can feel it in my gut, Sadie's gone! I knew I'd likely be the one to outlast her but this soon!?"

"You don't know that for sure!" Sky said in a valiant effort to cheer up her teammate.

"We have a friendship link; we can always tell how the other is doing. I wish I was there for her." Katie then started to cry into her hands while Sky slowly backed away.

Confessional

Sky: Keeping this team motivated may be harder than I imagined.

Millie walked up to the group while looking around, "Has anyone seen that horror movie looking girl at all today?"

"Now that you mentioned it, I haven't. Not that I'm complaining, she scares me." DJ said while looking under the shelter to see if she was hiding nearby.

"Where could she be?" Sky asked, looking a bit unnerved.

Floating Salmon Camp

The shot switches to the Floating Salmon's treehouse which looks repaired minus a few holes in the roof that still remain. The interior of the building shows the house is built around the tree with various wooden furniture and bunk beds scattered on the side. One such bunk bed featured Amy who was attempting to sleep but a distant conversation kept on waking her up.

"Ughhhh" Amy groaned before giving up and getting out of the bed. She stormed out to the balcony to find Dawn meditating on the rails while Bridgette and Scarlett were playing cards. "Can you morons keep it down! We stayed up for hours to fix this lame shelter and now I can't even sleep!?"

Bridgette looked back apologetically, "Sorry Amy, we'll keep it down."

Amy noticed that Bridgette looked sleep deprived with bags under her eyes and messy hair. "Why do you look worse than usual?"

Bridgette opened her mouth to speak but Dawn spoke first, "She's anxious sleeping here due to deep rooted childhood trauma of getting lost in the woods."

Bridgette's face went pale, "How? I never-"

"Your aura reads like an open book. I really admire how you still hold true to your love of animals despite your fear." Dawn said, leaning closer with intense eyes while Bridgette looked taken aback.

Confessional

Bridgette: So what if I'm afraid of the woods, I can survive on this island just fine. All I have to do is ignore the distant cries of animals and not think about how easy it would be to get lost…Ok maybe this sucks.

Amy rolled her eyes, "Didn't think it could be possible for you to get weirder but somehow you surpass my expectations."

"Keep hurling insults to hide your lack of confidence in yourself, belittling others isn't a good look." Dawn said with a glare pointed towards Amy.

"It's too early to deal with freaks like you!" Amy yelled out before storming back into the treehouse.

"Looks like you correctly guessed her insecurities, not like it wasn't obvious." Scarlett said while adjusting her glasses. "I am still not convinced that these "auras" you speak of have scientific merit." She said in a skeptical tone towards Dawn.

Dawn smugly turned towards Scarlett, "How else would I know about your anger issues?" Scarlett's entire face fell and instantly turned red hearing Dawn's aura reading.

Confessional

Scarlett: Keep calm Scarlett, it was just a lucky guess. Aura's have no scientific merit in reality, think happy thoughts.

Dawn: Am I wrong for finding such joy in doubters realizing the true power of auras?

At the base of the tree a group of rocks were set in a circle surrounding a pit in the ground filled with sticks. Working on the fire pit were two people, Damien crouched down rubbing sticks together and Noah watching with an apathetic look.

Amy climbed down the ladder with an angry look on her face, "Hey, you two! Where's everyone?"

Noah pointed towards the woods, "Jasmine decided to take a group for forging, we got tasked with making fire. As you can tell it's going great."

"Just you watch, any minute now the friction will kick in and turn this bad boy into fire." Damien called out from the fire pit visibly sweating.

"You got this," Noah said while now sitting down on a nearby log and reading a book.

"Thanks ma-" The sticks Damien was holding quickly caught fire burning his hand. "AHHHHH"

Confessional

Noah: People are always on my case about my lack of motivation, but I think my moral support more than makes up for it.

Damien: Being the one to make fire for the team felt good, minus the burned hand. Maybe I should give this place another chance, it's not like things will get worse.

Forest

In the middle of the forest a group of five were walking wearing pouches. Jasmine was leading the pack followed by Chase and Tyler laughing with one another, a depressed looking Cameron, and Sadie looking around with wonder.

Jasmine halted in an area with various bushes and trees with fruit on them, "Alright, lets give this spot a burl. Move out everyone, let's get some food!"

Confessional

Jasmine: Yesterday I got a tad bit annoyed at my team but if I want the moolah I gotta give everyone a fair go

Chase walked up to a blueberry bush and called out to Tyler, "I bet I can eat more of these than you dude!"

Tyler ran over with a motivated look, "Oh you are so on!" They both grabbed a berry and brought it up to their mouths ready to start the bet. However, before they could eat one Jasmine's voice called out, "Stop!"

Jasmine rushed over to them, "You two do realize these berries are for everyone, right?"

Tyler dropped his berry into the pouch, "Uh sorry! We got caught up in the moment." Jasmine eyed him for a moment before nodding and walking away.

Chase grabbed Tyler's shoulder, "Dude!? Why let her stop us, it would've been a sick way to start the day."

Tyler shrugged and started picking various berries, "Sorry man but it can't all be fun, we also got to support the team."

Confessional

Chase: Having fun 24/7 is literally the motto of my livestream! Tyler has certainly never been an influencer before, I gotta teach him the basics!

Tyler: Me and Chase are both fun loving dudes, but I don't think the guys ever truly been part of a team before, I gotta teach him the basics!

Jasmine hoped down from a palm tree with several coconuts in her hands before looking up at the tree in confusion. "Since when do palm trees grow in Canada?"

Cameron walked up behind her, "They don't. This could have been moved or it could be a recreation." After an awkward silence Cameron decided to continue talking, "Uh I wanted to apologize for how yesterday went. I plan on making it up, starting now!" Cameron grabbed one of the coconuts out of her hand to help carry, only for him to fall from the sudden weight.

Jasmine chuckled at the attempt and helped Cameron up, "No biggie mate, it's a new dawn. I believe in ya!"

Confessional

Cameron: Yesterday I let myself get distracted and it almost sent me home first, just like my mom predicted! Now it's time to prove to myself and others that I can take care of myself, no more distractions!

Jasmine looked up with widened eyes, "Sadie don't sit in that bush, it's poison ivy!" She ran towards Sadie leaving Cameron alone gathering various fruits for camp. It was this brief moment where he allowed himself to feel happy, finally free from his bubble and getting to experience life in a new and unique way that he never could have imagined. Sadly, for Cameron, that peace was shattered when two hands reached out of the nearby bush and pulled him into it.

"AHHHHH!" Cameron screamed at the sudden movement, once the initial fear wore off he looked around to see himself inside the bush with Lauren directly in his face. "Please don't kill me!"

"You know my name." Lauren said with a blank look on her face.

Cameron was visibly terrified with his entire body shaking and sweat pouring down his face, "Is t-that a b-bad thing? Do y-you want me not to know it?"

Lauren pulled out her knife with a smile, "If I ever hear you say my name, I will make you regret it. GOT IT?"

Cameron nodded furiously, "I can do that! Whatever you want to be called, I will do that! Just please let me live."

Lauren pondered for a moment before smiling, "Just call me Scary Girl" She then skipped out of the bush whistling to herself. When she was out of frame the camera pointed up towards a tree with megaphones taped onto it.

Chris' voice shot out of the megaphones at ear piercing volume, "Campers meet me at the forest clearing in ten minutes for your next challenge!"

Confessional

Cameron: (He is now curled into a ball and sucking his thumb) Mom please pick me up, I'm scared.

Scary Girl: It feels soooo good to finally get rid of that lame name! I think the new name perfectly summarizes me.

Forest Clearing

The Confused Bears were the first team to arrive in the clearing and took their spots on the left tree log. Sammy sat on the edge with Bowie sitting next to her, still holding his bag of chicken from this morning.

"You better eat before the challenge starts, who knows what we'll do today." Sammy said in a worried tone, noticing the unopened bag.

Bowie smiled at her, "Don't worry, I can think of far better uses for this." He then looked down the bench at Owen whose stomach was aggressively growling. Bowie turned back to Sammy and held up the bag, "It's time for my second bit of advice, how to get people on our side."

Bowie got up and confidently strolled over to Owen's position waving the bag of food in front of his face. "Sounds like you need this more than me, want my bag of food?"

Owen nodded, "Yes! I've only had one bag this morning, I am starving."

Bowie started to hand the bag to a drooling Owen, "You can have it." He then pulled it back smiling as Owen's face fell, "As long as you promise to owe me one."

"I can do that!" Owen happily promised which Bowie accepted and handed Owen the bag. Owen wasted no time in lifting the bag over his head and dropping it all into his mouth followed by a satisfied burp.

Confessional

Owen: This island is horrible; I haven't seen one restaurant or fast-food place for an entire two days!

The Floating Salmon team finally approached the clearing led by Jasmine who brought her team to the log on the right side. Geoff waved at a passing Bridgette who gave him a small smile. Amy attempted to glare at Sammy, but Bowie's glare back made her look away in surprise.

Confessional

Amy: Why the hell is that loser glaring at me? Is he jealous of my looks or (gasps) is Samey making me look bad? But no one would ever believe someone like her so… I don't get it.

Upon seeing Sadie walk into the clearing Katie's face brightened, she quickly ran over to Sadie and tackled her into a hug. "EEEEEEEEH, I knew you'd survive!"

Sadie hugged her BFFFL back, "EEEEEEEEH, I like totally missed you!"

The sound of squealing was getting louder and louder every second, "Can you two please stop!" Noah yelled out while covering his ears.

Katie looked confused, "That's not us!" Sadie's eyes widened, noticing an orange propeller plane flying towards the clearing at high speeds.

"Hit the deck!" Geoff screamed, prompting the campers to either crouch down or jump into the bushes to hide.

The plane managed to land between the two logs, the pilot's window got lowered revealing a smiling Chris Mclean. Chris was wearing an orange jumpsuit with buttons in the middle and a white helmet with red stripes. "Morning campers. Who is ready for your next challenge!"

The campers slowly came out of their hiding places with surprised faces at the hosts' sudden appearance. "Woah, nice Space Battle cosplay!" Sam said towards Chris.

Chris turned to glare at someone further in the plane, "Did you buy my pilot's uniform at a costume shop!?"

"It was on sale." A voice could be heard from within the plane, revealing it to be Chefs.

Chris rolled his eyes and pulled out a megaphone, "Who is pumped for today's EXTREME SPORTS CHALLENGE-ENGE-ENGE-ENGE" His amplified voice traveled through the campers forcing most of them to wince except Chase, Tyler, and Geoff who all had large smiles on their faces.

"Extreme sports!? Best challenge ever!" Chase said and then gave a chest bump to Tyler.

"Today you will compete in three challenges, first up," Chris brought up the megaphone to his mouth, "EXTREME SOFA BED SKYDIVING." The side door of the plane opened revealing Chef wearing a military uniform and a parachute while a dirty sofa bed was placed under him by two interns wearing a red shirt. "Contestants will plummet- I mean skydive to the sofa bed target below." The camera panned down to the sofa bed while two springs sprung out of the mattress. Chef winced before jumping down towards the sofa bed, which promptly closed the moment he landed crushing him and making him cry out in pain. "Of course you'll be doing this from 5,000 feet in the sky and using these," Chris then threw out six old parachutes with holes scattered around the bags, resulting in the majority of the cast gasping in shock

"No way is this safe!" Damien said in an extremely panicked tone.

"Duh, that's how you get the views. Trust me, I've done something like this before." Chase said proudly.

"It's ok guys, these shows totally use stunt doubles in challenges like this!" Sadie said, trying to cheer up her team.

Chris burst out laughing, "They think we have the budget for stunt doubles!" He wiped a tear from his eyes and then pulled out a piece of paper, "Let's see who will be skydiving. For the Bears DJ, Sky, and Owen will be jumping."

Sky looked at DJ and Owen standing next to her, "We got this, right guys?" She said while attempting to give them fist bumps.

DJ frowned while returning the fist bump to Sky, "Y-yeah uh sure, bring it" He stuttered out.

Owen was handling the news a lot worse seeing as he fell to his knees and started sobbing. "You can't make me go up in that deathtrap, NOOOOOOO!"

Confessional

Owen: Ever since I was little, I've had a fear of flying and now this show expects me to ride the smallest plane ever? What did I sign up for!

Chris pulled out a contract with a smile, "Oh we can." He then switched the contract for the challenge list and continued to read off it, "For the Bears we have Jasmine, Dawn, and Damien."

Damien crossed his arms, "No, no, no no, NO! I am not jumping out of a plane, I quit!" Jasmine and Dawn gasped at this announcement while standing next to him.

Chris looked unbothered, "Sure. As long as you pay us $100,000, you're free to go."

"Wait, WHAT!?" Damien said in shock

Chris pulled out the contract again with an even larger smile, "All according to this bad boy right here, it's foolproof."

Confessional

Damien: I have to pay them $100,000 to quit!? I don't have that kind of money, or I wouldn't be here in the first place!

"The rest of you will have the job of moving the couches to the designated drop zones for your teams." Chris gestured to two couches that were just moved into the clearing. He then threw two maps, one to Dakota on the Bears and one to Tyler on the Salmon. "You have five minutes before we depart, GO, GO, GO!" Everyone minus the sky divers ran towards their respective couches and started pushing.

Eastern Beachside- Confused Bears

"3, 2, 1, PUSH!" Brick commanded his team while pushing the couch himself. The Bears were currently pushing the couch through the beach and making good progress. Brick looked back at Dakota who had the role of navigation, "How close are we Ma'am?"

Dakota pretended to squint at the map but in reality, she was texting on Sam's game console which was hidden behind the map, "Uh I think we just need to go this way for a few more minutes."

Confessional

Dakota: Before you judge just remember that my followers haven't heard from me for nearly 12 hours, most of them thought I died!

Sam was breathing heavily and visibly sweating while pushing, "Ughhh my gamer muscles aren't meant for this grueling physical labor."

Geoff patted him on the back, "You got this bro! We just need to give 100% to help our pals in the sky."

Scary Girl chimed in, "Yeah! All we need to do is make some additions to this couch, anyone got nails? Glue?"

Confessional

Scary Girl: People getting injured is always funny but when they die they can't get injured anymore, I don't like that.

Western Beachside- Floating Salmon

Tyler was reading the map intensely while the rest of the team was following with the couch. "Alright, this should be the-" Tyler suddenly tripped over a rock falling face first into the sand. "...spot" He mumbled out with his face still in the sand.

Confessional

Tyler: People always say I'm the clumsiest person they know, which means another first-place trophy for me!

Noah looked up at the sky, "How long will it take for them to land here?"

"If they fail to pull their parachutes it'll take 30 seconds to hit the ground, if the parachutes work depending on the wind speed, 50 seconds." Scarlett answered.

"I can't believe Chris didn't pick me to be a skydiver, I would've been so good at it" Chase said, still clearly annoyed.

"That's probably the reason, moron." Amy said with a roll of her eyes.

"Aw thanks!" Chase said with a smile towards Amy which just left her confused.

Confessional

Chase: Someone insulting your intelligence just means they don't see anything wrong with the way you look!

Propeller Plane- Confused Bears

The interior of the plane held three chairs lined up against each wall, each camper was strapped into a chair with harnesses keeping them secure. The entire plane was shaking from turbulence and felt like it could come apart at any moment.

On one side of the plane DJ had his eyes closed whispering to Mama, Owen sobbing in fear, and Sky just looked at her teammates in concern. "You two doing ok? This will be over before we know!" She said with a smile.

"Our life is going to be over before we know it!" Owen screamed out.

"You can go last big buy, just w-watch how me and Sky do it." DJ's voice was betraying his calm exterior, but he still showed a bright smile to Owen which managed to calm him down a little.

Confessional

DJ: That plane ride was the scariest thing I've ever been through but if someone is scared, I have to put on a brave face and do all I can to help them.

Sky: I respect the bravery DJ displayed on the plane; it took me a lot of training to hide my anxiety. In truth, I was terrified the whole time as well.

"Alright Bears, we are over your drop zone, time to jump! Remember you need to pull the blue cord first and then the red, or else you'll die! No pressure." Chris called out from the pilot's seat. The three Confused Bears members slowly walked over to the sliding door and opened it, feeling the rush of air attempting to pull them out of the plane.

Sky took a step towards the edge, "I don't see our drop zone."

"You got this." DJ said with a smile and gave her a small pat on the back which was enough to knock Sky off balance and send her falling out of the plane. "Oops."

"AHHHH" It took several seconds in the air for Sky to regain her composure and by that point the ground was getting closer and closer. Figuring she had to make an emergency landing, Sky landed on a tree and managed to slide down the branch flinging herself into the ocean.

DJ looked down from the plane and took a deep breath before jumping, "Blue then red." DJ pulled the red wire first, "Red!?" Then the blue, "Blue!? AHHHHHH" He started to scream but by some miracle his parachute deployed giving him a safe landing onto the beach. "Thank you, thank yo-" DJ stopped his cheering upon noticing an angry Sky in the water glaring at him.

Confessional

Sky: Respect for DJ is now gone.

DJ: I feel so bad for pushing her out of the plane, I could've killed her! How do you apologize to someone for that?

Owen took a step forward and closed his eyes, imaging himself flying through the sky with Hotdogs and Donuts. That strategy worked for three seconds but ultimately failed by Owen's eyes opening due to the force of the wind flying in his face. "AHHHHHHHHHH" Owen screamed but managed to grab the blue and red wires deploying his parachute. Owen closed his eyes once again and screamed the entire time, only stopping once he no longer felt himself moving. He opened his eyes to see that he successfully landed on the beach, Owen dropped to his knees and started kissing the sand.

"Are you all ok!?" Brick ran up to the sky divers followed by the rest of the Confused Bears, "We heard a lot of screaming."

"Where were you!? Where was the couch?" Sky demanded.

"Uh at the drop zone?" Brick asked, clearly confused, he grabbed the map from Dakota's hand revealing her phone and seeing that the map was flipped upside down. "You sent us the wrong way!"

Dakota noticed all the angry looks from her team and offered an apologetic smile, "Oopsie!"

Propeller Plane- Floating Salmon

Damien grabbed the handle of the open door and pushed it shut from his chair, "This is completely ridiculous, why are we forced to do this!? Did you see that girl fall, she's probably dead by now!"

Seated next to Damien was Jasmine who was visibly shaking, and her teeth were chattering for the entire flight. Jasmine turned to Damien, "Open it back up, this thing has no bloody air!"

Damien raised an eyebrow at Jasmine's behavior, but Dawn decided to get up from her seat and interject, "She's claustrophobic. I can tell both of you are nervous, give me your hands." Damien and Jasmine hesitated for a moment, but Dawn's insistence won them over, she took both their hands and flipped them over. "Ah! Your palms indicate that you both have long lives ahead of you, this plane ride won't be the end of any of us." Damien and Jasmine let out a sigh of relief looking a tad more comfortable.

Confessional

Dawn: I honestly haven't perfected palm readings, but they probably won't die from this…I think.

"Alright Salmon, this is your drop zone, time to jump!" Chris' voice called out from the cockpit. The three Salmon gulped and stood up facing the door. Jasmine pulled the door open, breathing in the rushing air with a smile.

"See ya on the flipside mates!" Jasmine said before jumping out of the plane. "The koala says cluck to the platypus for luck!" Jasmine then pulled the blue and red cords deploying her parachute with a smile on her face.

Dawn turned to Damien with a smile on her face, "This must be the view birds see, nature is truly breathtaking!" She then gave Damien a pat on the back and jumped out of the plane. "Protect me, great Earth mother!" She yelled while falling.

Damien was now alone in the plane and crossed his arms, "I don't care what they say on the contract, I am not-" Chris suddenly came up behind him and pushed him out of the plane with a smile on his face.

"I HATE YOU CHRISSSSS" Damien screamed while plummeting towards the ground. "Alright, blue and then-" Damien's eyes nearly popped out of his head upon seeing that his parachute did not come with a red cord attached, "HELP MEEEEE". Damien was in freefall towards the approaching ground, thankfully Jasmine heard his cries and managed to catch his parachute mid-fall saving him from certain death. "THANK YOU!" Damien said to Jasmine with tears in his eyes from the near-death experience.

Jasmine managed to spot the drop zone and navigate her and Damien onto the safety of the couch. Tyler brought his fists up into the air, "Great work you two! You know how to live to the EXTREME!"

"Yes, you were all so brave to face your fears" Dawn said, revealed to be meditating on the couch.

"How on Earth did you beat me down here?" Jasmine said at Dawn's sudden appearance.

"Oh, it's nothing really. Just asked for a ride from a passing Eagle." Dawn explained as if it was a normal occurrence.

"I was the one that slowed us down, you all should totally vote me off!" Damien said, pointing to himself in panic.

Confessional

Damien: I almost died today; I NEED TO GET OFF THIS ISLAND! If I can't quit, then I'll just have to get voted out!

Chris flew by the Floating Salmon with a megaphone in hand, "And with the incredible work of Jasmine, Damien, and Dawn the Floating Salmon won the first point for their team. See you all at the Moose Ring for round 2!

Moose Ring

The campers were gathered around a wooden fence that surrounded a mud pit featuring a very angry moose. Chris was back in his normal clothing, "Alright campers, the second challenge of the day is," He pulled up the megaphone once again, "EXTREME RODEO MOOSE RIDING! Three campers from each team will ride this Great Canadian Bucking Moose, the team that manages to stay on for the longest amount of time will earn a point."

Chris pulled out a piece of paper and started reading, "The three campers riding for the Bears are Bowie, Geoff, and Lau-" A shadow lunged at Chris knocking him over. "Wha-" Chris looked at his attacker revealing it to be Scary Girl holding a knife with a smile on her face.

"NEVER call me that name or I will find you and eliminate you myself!" Scary Girl said while brandishing the knife at Chris. "Call me Scary Girl or else!"

"CHEF, I NEED HELP!" Chris called out to his co-host, Chef, into frame and lunged at Scary Girl but she managed to backflip over him and landed next to Bowie and Geoff who looked bewildered.

Chris stood up dusting the dirt off his shirt and fixed his hair, "Since I don't want to be hunted down after this show, I'll call you Scary Girl. But if you EVER TOUCH ME AGAIN YOU ARE OUT OF HERE!" He yelled at her. Scary Girl just continued smiling, not fazed by his threat.

Chris pulled out the piece of paper again, "Going for the Salmon is Bridgette, Tyler, and Cameron. Since the Salmons won the last challenge, they'll go first, starting with Tyler!"

"Aw yeah, this is going to be EXTREME!" Tyler gave Chase a quick high five and ran up to the moose. Tyler vaulted onto the moose and instantly fell into the mud below.

Chris was holding a stopwatch next to the moose pen, "Wow I haven't even started this yet. Just going to count that as 0 seconds, next up is Cameron." Cameron gulped and approached the moose while Tyler walked by with sagged shoulders.

Cameron tried to climb up the moose but lacked the upper body strength to pull himself up. "Uh, any help here?" Cameron called back to his team. Jasmine stepped into the ring and lifted Cameron by the hoodie on top of the moose. Once Cameron was sitting on the moose, its eyes widened and blew air out of its nostrils before launching Cameron off its back. "AHHHHHH" Cameron screamed until he smashed into a nearby tree.

Chris stopped the watch, "Eight seconds, nice improvement. Last but probably not least is Bridgette!"

Bridgette took a deep breath and climbed onto the agitated moose, "Easy their big guy, not here to harm you." The moose was not interested in being calmed down and started running around the ring, bucking the entire time.

"Grab onto the antlers!" Geoff called from the sideline, offering support to Bridgette.

Bowie eyed him suspiciously, "Uh, forget what team you're on?"

"Nah man, just helping out a potential friend." Geoff said with a smile and continued watching Bridgette's moose riding attempt.

Confessional

Geoff: Just because people are on different teams doesn't mean we can't support one another. As long as we are all having fun it's chill!

Bowie: He's buying support with his parties and already trying to make allies on the other team? Oh, he's good.

Bridgette gripped the antlers for dear life and managed to hold on for an impressive amount of time until she lost her grip and got flung into the mud.

"Nice! Bridgette clocks in an impressive 43 seconds giving the Salmon a total time of 51 seconds. Time for the Confused Bears to go, starting with Bowie."

Bowie did some quick stretches before getting on the moose while smiling confidently. "Watch and learn how its-" The Moose started bucking intensely catching Bowie off guard, "AHHHHH" Bowie screamed but managed to hold on a few more seconds before getting launched off.

"13 seconds, next up is Geoff!" Chris said.

Geoff smirked and jumped onto the moose, he took off his cowboy hat and started to swing it around with the other hand attached to the antler. "YEEEEE-HAWWWWW!" All the campers just looked on in amazement at Geoff's ability of keeping himself balanced while the moose was trying everything it could to get him off.

Confessional

Geoff: It would be a dishonor to this cowboy hat if I wasn't skilled at animal riding, it's like taught in Cowboy 101 yo!

Chris sounded an airhorn, "Alright, it's clear that the Bears have outlasted the Salmon on this one" The entire Confused Bears team cheered including Geoff who was still on top of the moose. Chris walked towards a red ATV and climbed onto it, "Follow me campers to the mud fields for the final portion of the challenge."

Mud Fields

Chris drove to a large muddy field scattered with ramps, logs, and various flags sticking out of it. "Alright campers, it's all tied up." He grabbed the megaphone, "Whoever wins EXTREME MUD SKIING will win immunity and a luxurious shower cart that will make your lives here slightly less disgusting. We will also throw in Soap from the "Smell Ya Later" Company, the soap used by champions!" He gestured towards a sparkling mobile cart with several showers built into it.

"We HAVE to win this team; it'd be wasted on the other team!" Amy said looking incredibly motivated.

Owen rolled his eyes, "Oh who cares about showers, where's the food!"

Chris shrugged, "Who knows. Now for this challenge each team will have a jet ski driver, their goal is to drive through this mud field pulling an opposing skier with them, the driver must follow the course laid on before them, but they can try to disrupt the skier in any fashion they can think of. The skier's goal is to collect as many flags as they can, the skier that collects the most will win immunity."

Chris pulled out the paper, "The driver for the Bears will be Sam with the skier being Dakota. The driver for the Salmon will be Amy with Chase being the skier. If your name wasn't called then you get a break day, congrats."

Confessional

Millie: Thank god Chris forgot to pick me, I know I've only been here for two days but this was a much needed break.

Noah: Aw Chris must be looking out for me; sports aren't my forte and extreme sports just make me feel dead inside.

Chase ran next to Amy and lifted his and her arm up into the sky, "WOOOOO! Let's go win this for the team babe!"

Amy ripped her hand out of his grasp and looked him dead in the eyes, "If you cost me my shower, I will DESTROY you!"

Confessional

Amy: Back home I spent an hour a day in the shower, it's what a goddess like me deserves and no one is getting in my way of this reward!

Dakota moved next to Sam, "We have to win this, I royally screwed up earlier so give it your all."

Sam smiled at her, "Oh I got this, I have a top 50 world record in WaterSki Racer 2!"

"Alright, first up is Sam for the Bears and Chase for the Salmon, get to it people! Chris called out on his megaphone.

The scene shifted to Sam riding a unique looking jet ski made out of a wooden crate and red seat glued together. Connected to the jet ski via a rope was Chase with two skis under his feet, giving a thumbs up to his team.

Sam looked back at Chase, "Get ready to get owned noob!"

Chase just looked on ahead with a smile, "Whatever man, just make sure to go really fast! This is perfect for my stunt highlight reel."

Chris drove by on his ATV, "Here's the road rules- oh wait, there are no rules! Which means this is gonna be awesome!" He then lifted up a green flag above his head, "And, go!"

Sam revved up the engine and blasted off at full speed with Chase behind him cheering. They jumped the first ramp with Chase doing a 360 spin in the air, upon landing he looked towards his team, "You see that!?" completely ignoring the first flag going by him.

"Get the bloody flags!" Jasmine called out from the sidelines. Chase sighed and crouched down collecting two flags passing by. Chris' voice called out from a megaphone, "Chase has successfully collected 2 flags, how will he fare on the last two?"

Sam leaned forward, "It's time for the gamer position!" and sent the jet ski to maximum speed hoping to throw Chase off. But Chase was just having the time of his life, "That's more like it bro!" he called out to Sam while collecting his third flag from a ramp." Sam looked worried before his eyes lit up in realization.

Confessional

Sam: Competitive Gaming Rules 101 states if your enemy wants you to do something, then you do the opposite.

Sam hit the brakes on the jet ski, halting it in the mud. Chase's momentum had him keep going and smash into the jet ski at full speed, sending him flying over it. "AHHHHH, THIS IS WICKED, AHHHHHH" Chase screamed while flying through the sky. But by some miracle Chase was launched just far enough to cross the finish line, falling into the mud below.

"Somehow Chase successfully locks in three flags for the Salmon!" Chase gave a thumbs up while lying in the mud while Sam sighed. "Now it's up to Dakota to score three or more flags or the Bears are finished, let's get this started!"

The scene transitioned to Amy riding the jet ski with a determined look and Dakota on the connected skis waving to the camera.

Confessional

Dakota: This challenge is the perfect opportunity to get my own action series, the world is going to be amazed by me!

Amy looked back at Dakota and put on a fake smile, "OMG, I am so excited to be working with you here, I am a major Dakotazoid! Don't tell my team but I am hoping you win this challenge."

Confessional

Amy: Tricking blondie is going to be easier than stealing Samey's allowance.

"And Go!" Chris said, bringing the green flag down. Amy revved up the engines but at a much slower speed at first allowing Dakota to get the first four flags with ease.

"Is she trying to lose?" Noah asked from the sidelines.

"I sense she is planning something mischievous" Dawn stated, suddenly appearing next to Noah causing him to jump.

"This is so easy!" Dakota said, securing another flag. "I can see the finish line!" Amy smirked from the driver's seat hearing Dakota's optimism.

"You got this Dakota!" Sam called out to her with a smile which got a thumbs up from Dakota as she passed by.

"This would be such a good time for a selfie, shame I don't have one" Amy called out to Dakota from the driver's seat.

Dakota's eyes lit up and she pulled out Sam's game console, "You are totally right!" Dakota used one hand to lift it up and posed for it.

"Say Cheese!" Amy said before swerving the jet ski to the left slamming Dakota into the pole of the finish line. Dakota slid down the poll into the mud, dropping all the flags.

"And with that incredible wipeout, The Floating Salmon win immunity!" Chris said from his megaphone. Amy was lifted up by Chase and Tyler, Jasmine had a satisfied smile on her face, Cameron let out a sigh of relief, Noah shrugged, Damien fell to his knees with a frown on his face. "Enjoy the showers!" Chris said, gesturing to the sparkling mobile cart.

"MOVE IT" Amy demanded, jumping down, and running toward the cart.

Chris turned towards the Confused Bears, "What can I say, y'all stunk. Meet me at the elimination ceremony in a few hours, one of you is out of here."

Confused Bears Camp

The entire team, excluding Dakota and Scary Girl, were talking in a group around the shelter. Sky took the lead in the discussion, "Alright guys, we need to keep this team as strong as possible. That's why I think Dakota has to go, she gets distracted way too easily."

Sam frowned, "Aw come on, she's trying her best. She almost won the challenge for us."

"And she almost got us skydivers killed!" Sky paused to look at DJ, "Well part of the reason."

"What about Scary Girl, she threatened the host, and she scares me" Brick whispered, hoping that Scary Girl was not within earshot.

"I agree with that, please do her!" Katie said, also looking nervous.

Geoff jumped in, "Let's all chill and settle it at the vote, as long as one goes, we're good."

Bowie nodded, "Sounds good to me." He then grabbed Sammy's arm, "I gotta talk to you" and pulled her away.

Confessional

Bowie: I have a different plan in mind, threats have to go ASAP.

"Woah, what is it?" Sammy asked, caught off guard by Bowie's sudden insistence.

"What do you think would be the best move for us? Bowie asked Sammy.

She pondered for a second, "Probably voting with everyone else? Maybe Dakota?"

Bowie shook his head, "Nope. My third and most crucial bit of advice is taking out future threats before they have a chance to grow. Sure, we could take out the easy votes but that leaves us in danger if we lose again. That's why I think we should eliminate…" Bowie leaned in and whispered a name into Sammy's ear.

Sammy's eyes widened, "Are you sure? I don't know, he really helped today."

"If you want to make it far enough to outlast your sister, you'll have to play dirty. Now I am going to get more votes, think on it" Bowie said before walking off leaving Sammy looking concerned.

Confessional

Sammy: Bowie seems to know the correct strategy for this game but why does it feel so wrong to think about?

Bowie walked up to Dakota and Sam sitting by a tree, "Hey friends, how's it going?"

Dakota looked up at him with a frown, "Not good, I completely flopped! Not only am I probably going but all of my fans will think less of me. I'm ruined!"

Sam put a hand on her shoulder, "Hey, I thought you were rocking that challenge and I am sure everyone else saw it."

Bowie nodded, "It'd be wrong to send you home, in fact I think we should have the power on this team. That's why I think we should vote-" He leaned in to whisper a name into both of their ears.

Sam looked nervous but Dakota smiled, "If it lets me stay longer, I'm in!"

Confessional

Dakota: The longer I am on this show, the more likely I get my own spinoff show! That's why I don't care who goes, they are going for a great cause.

Bowie walked up towards Owen, "Remember that favor?" He then whispered the name in Owen's ear which got a sad nod from him.

Bowie then looked under the shelter to see Scary Girl eating something undefinable. "I got a vote that will really scare a whole bunch of people" He whispered it into her ear, and she gave a big smile in return.

Confessional

Bowie: Ugh the lengths I have to go through to get my way, but everything should be settled now.

Elimination Ceremony

Night has once again cast its dreadful shadow over the island plunging it in darkness except for the tiki torches leading the way. The twelve Confused Bears walked in silence; a tense hair hung above them knowing that one of them is moments away from leaving the game for good.

They eventually made it to the elimination area and took their seats, the front barrel held a plate of eleven marshmallows next to a smiling Chris. "Welcome Confused Bears to your first elimination ceremony, here one of you is about to be sent packing. Go into the confessional to cast for your votes on who you want that to be.

Confessional

Katie: Nothing personal, I just think you are the most likely to kill me in my sleep.

Geoff: You fought hard but texting and skiing is no joke yo!

Sammy: I feel terrible for this but I want to go as far as I can, I am so sorry.

Sky: Keeping the team strong is the only choice here.

Chris picked up the plate of marshmallows, "In this game a marshmallow represents safety, the camper who does not receive one must head to the dock of shame immediately and can't come back, EVER!" Chris picked up a marshmallow, "Since a lot of you seem tired today, I'll just toss you the marshmallows if you're safe. The first one goes to…Brick."

Brick saluted Chris and caught his marshmallow with a smile.

"Samey, Bowie, Katie, and DJ. All of you are safe as well." Chris tossed them their marshmallows. Bowie smiled at his while Sammy just looked at hers with regret. Katie and DJ caught theirs with bright smiles.

"Sky, Sam, Owen, and Millie. You four are also safe." Owen opened his mouth wide to catch the thrown marshmallow, Millie and Sam had smiles while catching theirs.

Sky picked hers up and shouted, "Yes!"

Chris looked each one of the three remaining campers in the eyes, "Each of you have received a vote tonight. Scary Girl, you threatened me with a knife which is reason enough for you to go, Dakota you failed your team multiple times today, and Geoff you got a point for your team."

Geoff looked at Scary Girl and Dakota, "Aw which one of you voted me!"

"The second to last marshmallow goes to…" Geoff had a confident smile on his face. "Scary Girl!" His eyes opened with worry upon seeing himself in the bottom two with Dakota. Scary Girl meanwhile laughed creepily when catching her marshmallow.

Chris picked up the last marshmallow and held it in front of Dakota and Geoff, "Campers this is the last one and it goes to. . ."

Dakota and Geoff were both looking up at the marshmallow with wide ears and fear clearly visible on their faces. This marshmallow represented their dreams continuing, the chance to leave a greater impact on this journey rather than an early exit.

"Dakota."

Dakota caught the marshmallow with a grin, "YES! My main character arc begins now!"

Geoff's mouth fell open in shock, he could not fathom what had just happened. DJ and Brick gasped, several others like Millie and Katie were looking around in confusion, trying to understand the results.

"What!? He is the only reason we had a chance today!" Sky said, standing up and visibly angry at the rest of her team.

"I-I don't understand, I was just trying to help" Geoff quietly said, still in shock. He looked up annoyed at his team, "This is unfair! I was the only one-" Chef grabbed his arm and started pulling him away. "Let go of me! They must've made mistake it's the only wayyyy" Geoff said while getting dragged away by Chef.

The rest of the team just looked on in confusion, despair, and for some like Bowie and Dakota glee. Brick turned towards the team, "Alright. Who voted Geoff? If we can't openly talk about this, then we have no chance of surviving future battles."

"Save the talking for camp, get out of my elimination ceremony!" Chris demanded sending the Confused Bears to have an awkward walk back home.

Dock of Shame

"Ah!" Geoff cried out as he was tossed into the Boat of Losers by Chef. "Check the votes man! I promise you my team wouldn't have done this to me!" Geoff cried out to no avail. The engine of the boat started up and quickly set forth down the water. ""Nooooo!" Geoff's voice could be heard getting further and further away.

Chris walked into frame, "I didn't lie about the dramatic part, some people are really playing! But how will the Bears recover from this dramatic vote? Find out next time on Total Drama Island!

I know Geoff has his fans and I honestly enjoy him as well so I felt terrible about having him go so early in this story. This cast has a lot of nice contestants, and I knew I needed at least one to leave early. I also wanted to give Bowie a strategic elimination like in the reboot. My goal with Geoff was to play up the Reality TV blindside factor by taking out someone early who seemed to have future plotlines(Romance with Bridgette, Connection to the other team, etc.) to make it feel like more of a surprise once he left. If a S2 is made, then I already have fun plans for him so we'll see if that pans out.

This one ended up being longer than expected, this challenge was a tad awkward since I had to sit out a few people and just have them do nothing for the chapter, but they are probably grateful for that!

Time to randomize the next challenge…

Awakeathon from Season 1! This one is really exciting since it's mostly about character interactions, I am excited!

Questions:

-Did Bowie make the right move?

-What apparent plotline interests you the most so far?

-Any plotlines/interactions you hope to see?
