Chapter 8 : Meeting the Family

Mirabel and Miguel had been exchanging letters for 6 Months now and has been the best. Some of the letters were written to Coco as promised and some just between the two of them some laughs were shared and some sad tears were spread but they knew in their hearts they still Love each other every day.
On this Particular day Mirabel had just come back from the orphanage helping the kids when she noticed a letter on her desk. So Mirabel put down her basket and went to go read the letter it had said:
Amor,
I have a surprise in a couple of weeks so there will be no letters coming I hope you can understand.

" Miguel What are you up to". Mirabel sighed
Camilo heard this and was surprised at this. Mira was hiding her notion from her family and he was sure who ever this boy was that had stolen his prima's heart he was gonna find out.
Isabela was busy with her cactus and flowers and training them when she heard a knock a the door.
"Coming ". Isabela yelled
Meanwhile Miguel was shaking in his boots Literally and was so nervous about Meeting Mirabel's Family Isabela then opened the door.
"How May I help you Señor ?" Isabela asked
"I'm looking for your Sister Mirabel Madrigal by the name of". Miguel replies
"Excuse me how do you know my sisters name?" Isabela was surprised
"I am a friend of hers". Miguel smiled
"Really. You don't look like a friend ". Isabela looked suspiciously at the young man
"Trust me." Miguel smiled
"How am I supposed to trust you?" Isabela questions
"Mi Flor who was at the door?" Bruno asked
"Nada Tio just This Hombre that claims to be a friend of Mirabel". She yelled
Bruno stepped forward and saw that It was in fact Miguel . He was happy he was here and he was glad he gets back for protecting his Sonbrina.
"Miguel how lovely to see you how are you my boy?" Bruno asked
"Bueno Gracias ". Miguel nodded
"Wait are you Miguel Rivera the one who helped My sister?" Isabela questions
"Si". He replied
Then to Miguel's surprised Isabela then hugged him and thanked him for all his done in taking care of her sister.
"Lo siento ". Isabela smiled
"No No Estas bien". He replied
"You must be Isabela if I am correct Mira told me a lot about you and your plants.
"Si that's me". She blushed
Just then Augustin and Julieta walked with Dolores and Antonio in tow. Miguel smiled politely and tried not to shake.
"You must be Miguel , Mirabel's Novio lovely to meet you". Julieta introduces
"Gracias". Miguel nodded in respect
"HER WHAT!!" Camilo yelled
"You must be Camilo lovely to meet you ". Miguel tried to be polite but all he saw was the death stare in his eyes
"Lovely to meet you too". Camilo gritted his teeth
"Camilo be nice". Dolores warned
"Sorry about him he can be a little weird sometimes I am Dolores ". Dolores excused and introduced herself
"You I hear are very musically talented and can play the piano better than I can". Miguel compliments
"Si , but I think you're too kind." Dolores gushed
Antonio then stepped forward with parce right behind him he genuinely enjoyed his company and smiled gently at Miguel.
"I am Antonio it's nice to meet you". He smiled
"You too Antonio , I have heard a lot about you from Mira she says you are good with Animals, I might with My perro Dante he is usually a good boy but he made need some help understanding you wouldn't mine helping would you?" He asked
" Really?" Antonio's eyes filled with hope
"Si would you be up to it?" He asked
"Happy to help ". Antonio answers
The family then Gestured for Miguel to the table since Lunch was starting. He politely sat down and they started asking him questions .
"How are your parents?" Julieta asked
" They are fine señora thank you for asking". Miguel replies
Just then Mirabel came into the room and wasn't expecting him to be here. She dropped her embroidery on the table Casita shifted to her and ran to Miguel and hugged Him tight and did not let go for several seconds.
"W- What are you doing here-" Mirabel stopped
"I wanted to surprise you Mi Amor and see if we can spend some time together ". Miguel explains
"Your very sweet Musico ". Mirabel blushed
"Anything for you". Miguel said
Camilo was trying so hard not kill him inside he didn't like the Idea of his Prima being with someone. Meanwhile Julieta and Augustin we're happy that their Mirabel had found someone as for Isabela and Dolores it was gonna take some time. But Miguel did seem to treat Mirabel with respect and love her endlessly and Unconditionally.
"Why don't you come and sit Mariposa ". Bruno points to chair
"Espera these are for you". Miguel took out some gorgeous flowers more Specifically bluebells Mirabel's favourite.
"Aww you remembered". Mirabel put a hand to her heart
Dolores Pepa Isabella Augustine and Julieta all thought that was adorable And knew that their Mirabel would be treated with respect. As they also going to eat Miguel was really proud of himself for bonding with the family on some level.
"Let's eat". Bruno said in unison with his family
The family sat down to eat and they enjoyed Miguel's company knew from their hearts that Mira and Miguel are always going to make it together.

AN: That's eat my lovelies I hope you enjoyed this little bonding time between Miguel and Mirabel 's family. Originally I was gonna have Isabella be very protective of her sister but I chose Camilo and opted for a protective cousin Road instead of a protective sister mode .
