Summary: Draco is tired of Pansy following him everywhere. Sure, it was nice having her do everything he wanted her to, but her crazy obsession was getting unbearable. Prompt: "run!" Drabble.
It's not every day you see the great Slytherin Prince hiding behind a tall pillar in the hallway. Hell, Draco Malfoy never hides-he's always strutting about the hallways, acting like he owns the place; in his mind, he truly does have all of Hogwarts around his little finger. His world is perfect in his own mind-well, except for one thing.
Pansy Parkinson.
He totally understood why his mother wanted him to associate with her-Pansy came from a nice, well-to-do family, similar to his own, and the Parkinsons were also deeply involved with the Dark Lord. Mrs. Malfoy thought Pansy might be a nice suitor for her son, and Draco had agreed when he had first seen her at Platform Nine-and-Three-Quarters. But after five seconds of getting to know her, he hated her almost as much as he hated Harry Potter.
"Oh, Draco!" Draco felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand up, and he dashed from pillar to pillar, trying to avoid the blackette. She had been after him all day, and he was getting so sick of it. Crabbe and Goyle had advised him to run, and so he did. He ran all the way to the Slytherin dungeons, hiding under a pile of banners that were in the common room. He watched carefully as Pansy looked around the common room in search of him. "Drakey, oh, Drakey, where are you?" Draco caught his breath as some of his housemates started laughing out loud, and began to mock Pansy. Well, at least she was being negatively affected by her stalker-like tendencies.
With a huff and a puff, and a quick mutter under her breath about how she couldn't find "her Drakey," she went upstairs to her dorm. Draco sighed in relief, and when he saw that she was far enough away, he crawled out of the banners, clearly disgruntled and visibily annoyed. He got away from her this time.
Damn, every stalker should want to be like her.
