Jess placed her phone down and rolled out of bed. As she stumbled through the house toward the kitchen she saw Connor and threw him a death glare she was not going to forgive him. Ever.
She made herself some toast and made coffee for her and Abby.
" Jess I was drunk Abby told me what I had done plz forgive me" said Connor. Jess sighed scratch the forever bit because she had just for gave him. Connor knew as well because he eased up and relaxed a bit more. Should not give up that easily jess mentally told herself. She decided she would get changed and act as if she never got her texts and forget Connor had said anything, jess put on her short(long compared to Georgia)lime green dress and shoes with her hair falling to her shoulders she put on a cardigan because all of Hugo's bite marks showed on her arm and back of her neck.
As she drove into the ARC. She saw matt in the locker room he sniggered at her appearance.
"what Hugo bite a lot more than you think any way he bit you on your arm so you can hide it he bit me an over even on my nose at one point" said jess putting her bag in the locker.
"So is Connor still living" said matt. Becker walked up behind jess and signalled him to stay quiet.
"well Abby almost killed him, drunk Connor ah he ambled on about me dating a teddy oh then he got really interesting say me and you me and Becker and the grand one me and Lester god you better keep him sober next time or reasonable at least so did he say anything while you were out?" asked jess.
" No just about you and Becker, ha Georgia's face priceless" said matt watching Becker's face.
"Yeah well Connor will soon be killed by Abby I left when he went to wake her up and the last I saw was him carrying a cup of water in the bedroom sniggering so may he rest in peace" said Jess walking out the room not realising Becker was in the room with them.
" Yes may he rest in peace" said Matt.
" Can I ask you something truthfully?" asked Becker.
"Yeah of course" said Matt.
" Now you must tell me the truth I can tell when you are lying to me you know that right" said Becker.
"Mate listen tell me I will give the truth" said matt.
"Does jess actually like me?" asked Becker. Matt froze what was he going to say he promised Becker he would tell the truth but he knew for a fact jess may murder him.
"yeah kind of but you never heard it from me and she will never do anything about it we asked one night when she was drunk she said you were happy and she was not going to get in the way of it" said Matt. Becker nodded. He walked out the locker room. The day had gone in a flash it was just past lunch when Becker went over to Jess it was her lunch hour and she was talking on her phone.
"Jessica you are worse than dad encouraging him" said Rebecca.
" No I am not any way is Cierea better or still teething?" asked jess laughing.
"What do you think dumb dim she magically got rid of tooth ache overnight honestly "said Rebecca.
"Hey Becca do not take it out on me I will come round tonight after work to help you...so Paul has the rest of the week off good he can help you, is that Hugo in the distance I can hear rawing away but him on please" said jess laughing and the little screams in the background little did she know Becker was walking over to the ADD were she was.
"Hello my little dinosaur" said jess. Becker was not in ear distance yet.
" Jessica you are on speaker so do not encourage him" said Rebecca.
"Sorry I am coming round tonight Hugo we can have some fun and watch films how about land of the lost Jurassic park or..." said Jess.
" Jessica I will murder you don't even think about it understood" said Rebecca. Jess just laughed and Becker stopped and hoped he would hear some of what jess was saying.
"Well bye Hugo. Bye bye see you tonight love you too bye love you bye bye love you bye Hugo" sighed jess.
"Jess" said Becker making jess jump.
"How long have you been there?" asked jess.
"Long enough, have you been attacked by some sort of animal?" asked Becker noticing the bite marks on her arms.
"No no my nephew Hugo thinks he is a dinosaur and he like to think all dinosaurs eat people and I am the unlucky one who gets eaten along with matt and Rebecca." said jess. Putting her cardigan back on matt came over.
"Jess what you doing tonight?" asked matt.
"Well I am going to my sisters at eight again trying to help her from Hugo why" said jess matt touched his bit mark.
"Um well Connor and Abby are going to KFC for tea and I was wondering if you would come so I don't feel left out you know with the Connor and Abby couple then the Becker and Georgia couple then us poor old single people" said matt jess rolled her eyes.
"sure as long as we are done by eight I cannot leave Rebecca alone with Hugo being all hyper dinosaur and Cierea being unwell and all. With Paul on call most night this week I am helping her it's fun until bed time when he would probably bite everything like he did to you. Sorry rambling sorry" said jess going red. Becker walked away.
They went to KFC once they finished work that night. Jess had a small chicken sandwich and shared some chips with matt. Jess excused herself to the loo but Georgia followed her.
"Hey Jessica I just want you to know you keep the hell away from my boyfriend do you understand" said Georgia. Jess nodded.
" I am gonna get going" said jess coming out the bathroom.
"Why it is only six plenty of time till you have to go to your sisters" said matt.
" I know but yeah bye" said jess picking up her jacket.
" I will drive you" said matt.
Jess opened her sister's door and the second it opened Hugo was there cover in spaghetti hoops sauce and bread crawling on the floor acting like a dinosaur. Matt laughed and walked away.
" Um Becca" said jess.
"the doctor said he is having a growth spurt meaning he will act weird as it is a stage and the best thing to do is let him not get to out of hand but make sure he gets his energy out" said Rebecca.
Jess spent the night at Rebecca's laughing and watching a film.
"Off to work. Hugo here please promise me you will be good and it you do I will bring you home a toy dinosaur but only if you are a good boy" said jess before giving him a kiss.
"I will be good love you Auntie Jessie love you bye" said Hugo.
"So how did last night go?" asked Matt. Jess stared to think of matt like an older brother now he cared about he in a brotherly way.
"Well Hugo bathed himself in spaghetti and toast but he has promised to be a good boy if I get him a toy dinosaur." said jess.
"Okay are you okay you have been acting weird lately not hanging around with us that often." said matt.
"I am fine it is just with Hugo going through a funny stage and Cierea having tooth ache all the time then Paul is on call all of this week at the hospital I just think I should help I mean it was only me her and dad and now we have grown up I want to still be close to her and her family making sure they have aunt Jessie in their lives you know" said jess.
"Yeah I think I understand brother sister type thing apart from the fact your both sisters" said matt.
"Yeah I guess, you know I am starting to think of you as a brother I never had" said jess when her phone vibrated.
Like I said keep away from him I only want u 2 c him at work it read jess looked at and flipped it shut before matt could read it.
Poor jess but the next few chapters will be great hopefully plz review plz will Becker see sense and leave the cow*COUGH* sorry Georgia
