this is the main base of the begin of this story hope you like it as much as i liked writing it plz enjoy and review it is a bit sad this chapter very sad but it is good. Lester sat at his desk when he received a phone call.
"Hello this is ST' Anne hospital we are calling to inform you thank captain Hilary Becker has been taken in after breaking some ribs and a miss Georgia king say you may tell everyone but make sure a Jessica Parker does not come thank you" said the voice.
He hung up, Lester sighed great another solider out. He looked down to see jess talking on her phone then she hung up and looked horrified. She ran up the ramp up to Lester's office.
"Lester I need to leave..." said jess but Lester butted in.
"I am sorry but you can't" said Lester guessing that she was about to go and see Becker in hospital it was only when he looked up she was in tears.
"But my sister is in car accident my father and brother in law has just died and..."said jess Lester cut in.
"Okay Miss Parker tell matt to take you to the hospital" said Lester.
Jess and matt drove to ST' Anne hospital. Jess was in tears when they pulled up they went straight to the reception and waiting room.
"What the hell do you think you are doing here?" screamed Georgia, jess looked at her but otherwise ignored her.
"Name?" asked the nurse.
"Jessica Parker" choked out jess.
"Yes Mrs Rebecca Kane is this way follow me" said the nurse. Jess told matt to stay in the waiting room.
"what the hell is she doing here?" said Georgia in a high pitched tone.
"well apart from her father dying and her brother-in law dying as well and her sister critical injured with both her niece and nephew in the ICU in the paediatric ward of the hospital she is here to annoy you." said matt trying to keep his tone down.
"she is unconscious but if you spoke to her she might her you" said the nurse leaving the room.
"Hi Rebecca it is me jess. Who you doing? Stupid question huh. Wake up please Becca please. If not for me but for Hugo and Cierea. You have to survive they can't not have a mother; they have no big sister like you to help them. Wake up. You can leave me please you are all I have left I can't lose you please wake up Becca. Please. It scary seeing all these wires in you it like when... Mam died huh don't wanna talk about that. Please wake up. You can get through this I will help just wake up please for me and for the kids please" said jess with tears running down her eyes. Rebecca's eye twitched.
"Did your eye just twitch" said jess then all of a sudden her heart monitor speeded up before going flat line.
It went in slow motion for jess like she was trapped un able to help her dying sister.
"Ma'am you need to leave the room ma'am please move out the way ma'am" said a voice. Jess felt a pair of arms grab her from around the waist and pull her backwards. She was being pulled away into the waiting room.
"NO! Rebecca NO Rebecca NO BECCCA NOO PLEASE BECCCA WAKE UP Becca NOO!" screamed Jess. As she was pulled into the waiting room where matt was and Becker sat next to Georgia filling in a form.
"Um excuse me sir she came with you can you calm her please" said the man. Matt shot up and pulled jess over to them.
"Jess calm down what happened?" asked matt. Jess watched as nurses rushed into her sister room.
"I was talking to her and then her heart stopped she flat lined...but she will be fine she will be" said jess more to herself than anyone. It had only been a few minutes after jess had been pulled out the room that a nurse came out.
"Well is Becca going to be okay?" asked jess. The nurse looked at her and took her elbow.
"No she can't no she can't be gone no please you have to do something please" cried Jess. Becker looked up seeing what was going on.
"Jess?" said matt.
"She is gone but she can't she was all I had left she just can't no" sobbed jess in to matt's chest.
"Miss Parker. I am sorry to say but because of all your losses today you have been left with full guardianship of the children that Mr and Mrs Kane had." said the nurse.
"Are they are they okay?" asked matt.
"They are in the paediatrics wards ICU if she could visit them soon it would be best" said the nurse before walking off.
Jess pulled away from matt and Becker had his arms open for her and without thinking she hugged his and sobbed into his chest.
"What the hell do you think you are doing?" screamed Georgia in her accent.
"I told you to keep away from Hilary or there would be consequences" said Georgia.
"She has just lost what is left of her family and has been given full guardianship of toddlers and you are that stuck up" said Becker.
"How dare you...it is over we are over go cry on her shoulder." said Georgia she waited for him to say something instead he looked at her in disgust and kissed jess hair line. Georgia stormed of in the direction of the exit
"I better go down and find them you stay here it is something I have to do on my own" said jess.
Jess sat on the chair next to sleeping Hugo's body. A hand touched her shoulder.
"How is he?" it was Lester.
"Hugo was a bouncy never stayed still kid ever he would cry if he had to stay sat. He has no feeling in his legs he won't be able to walk ever again. There is a 20% chance he might when older with therapy but there was a 50% chance that Rebecca would survive look where she is now" said jess crying.
"And the girl?" asked Lester.
"Fine only a broken rib and a concussion and the fact she will have to parents." said jess. Becker walked in. Lester walked out.
"Jess can I sit" said Becker pointing to the seat near the bed. Jess nodded.
"Sorry" he said.
"Hey you were not the drunken idiot who talking on his phone and caused all of this" said jess wiping away the tears.
"Not about that matt told me what Georgia had been doing. I just can't believe that" said Becker.
"Hey she liked you and was afraid I would tell you how I felt" said jess stroking Hugo's face.
"Yes but I want you to know I like you to and tell me how you feel any time you want and need any help with this lot of dinosaurs kids just say I will be there day or night" said Becker touching jess's spare hand,
"Thanks that means a lot" said jess trying to smile. But after all that had happen that day she could not bring herself to do it.
She lost her mother at the age of eight to cancer and all she had was her dad and sister Rebecca but now they were gone to too join Mam in the sky. The worst part was three people two children one barely an adult had been orphaned that day. Jess had just been forced into a motherhood nut now she had help she had a new brother matt and a new friend Becker and old friend Abby and Connor. This was going to be hard but jess now had the right tools.
