Jess lay in her hospital bed asleep. Her face peaceful and happy.
Flash back
"Dad where is mommy?" asked eight year old jess.
"She is poorly Jessie" said fourteen year old Rebecca
"Is she going to get better?" asked jess. Tears rolled down Rebecca's cheeks.
"No honey she is not going to get better but she is going to see Nana and grand pa in the sky" said jess dad. Jess and Rebecca stood next to the bed of their dying mum.
"Rebecca baby do you like he ring me and your father gave you?" asked the mother.
"Yeah Mam and Paul says he agrees he would not do anything till we marry" said Rebecca,
"You and that Paul will be together through thick and thin remember that" said the Mam.
"Jessie I love you" said the mother.
"I love you to mammy" said jess.
"Rebecca looks after he understand look after her" said their mother before closing her eyes.
"Happy birthday jess" said a nineteen year old Rebecca as a thirteen year old jess came down the stairs in her pyjamas. Jess smiled.
"Thank you" Jess said.
"You're welcome baby" said an old man. Jess' father.
"Thank you daddy" said jess giving him a hug.
"Present time Jessie" said Rebecca looked like jess in so many ways the hair the skin the same eyes and nose but different height. Jess had always been small and Rebecca grew an inch a second.
"Okay I wanna open Becky's first" said jess looking at Rebecca. Rebecca handed over a small red shiny package with a yellow bow on top. Jess opened the boxes to find a small oval shaped locket inside. Jess open the locket to find a picture of jess, Rebecca her Mam and her dad.(over time jess had added another picture to it a picture of jess, Rebecca, one year old Hugo new born Cierea, Paul and her dad) on the back it had engraved. I will always love you my sister my friend forever. Jess put it around her neck.
"Thank you" said jess her voice thick.
"Okay I want to open... Paul that was sweet to get his girlfriend's sister a birthday present" said jess taking another boxes of Rebecca.
"We have all been friends for ages he is like an older brother to you opens it" said jess dad.
Jess ripped the wrapper off to reveal a box of Thornton white chocolate truffles.
"Okay daddy's next" said jess. Jess's dad handed over two small boxes one in a pink wrapping and the other in an old wooden box. Jess opened the one in pink wrapping first it was a golden bracelet with the letters Jess P on it in silver.
"Awwr thank you daddy" said jess. Jess opened the small wooden boxes and within seconds tears were coming down her cheek. Inside was her mother old purity ring. A small platinum band with a heart shaped ruby and two smaller emerald heart shaped gems on it in a line.
"It was your mother before we married and we gave Becca one when she turned thirteen and you deserve your mothers now jess you promise the rules that come with this ring" said her father.
"I promise daddy I promise for mum" said jess in a very thick voice.
"Look at the box it was the box you mother kept her jewellery in we had your name engraved in it before she died" said her dad.
Jessica baby my daughter for ever no matter what I will miss you love mommy happy 13th birthday x
Jess let the tears run down her cheek before hugging her dad.

"Hey mommy, guess what I have been accepted to go to university next term. I am only fifteen." said jess.
"yeah and me and Paul are getting married in a week you remember Paul right you told me we were perfect and would be together through thick and thin that was thirteen year ago and look how right you were" said Rebecca.
"Jess Jess we are my flowers" asked Rebecca she was in a white dress it hugged her figure and flared out and the feet like a mermaid.
"Here Becca you look beautiful you know that" said jess in a tea length purple dress.
"Yeah I do thank you" said Rebecca.
"Mum would be so proud of you she was right you and Paul would make it" said jess.
"Jessica I am having a baby a mini me" said Rebecca.
"Wow really" said jess.
"Awwr you swelling up" said Paul
"No" said jess swallowing
"You're gonna be an auntie" said Paul jess felt the tear run down her cheeks.
"I am, aren't I Auntie Jessie" said Jess feeling Rebecca's belly.
"I am having a baby girl baby girl a sister of Hugo and we are going to call her Cierea after Mam" said Rebecca jess looked at her big bulging bump.
"Rebecca, Mam, dad" called jess
"Jess can you do me a favour?" asked Rebecca.
"Yeah of course" said Jess. As she stared at her parent and her sister who were dead.
"Wake up please live for Hugo and Cierea" said Rebecca
"But I want to stay here, with you and Mam and dad I wanna stay here." said jess.
"We won't force you to leave us but think what you're leaving behind" said jess's dad.
"Hugo, Cierea and Becker" whispered jess.
"Yes see you have to go back live for them for the ARC" said jess's dad.
"You know about the ARC but how?" asked jess.
"We watch over you honey we really do" said jess Mam.
"Mommy I missed you so much I really did" whispered jess.
"That's why you have to leave" said her mother.
"Why my life is getting worse I was almost rapped by boyfriend ex-girlfriend friend and she stabbed me" said jess.
"Yes but think how much you missed us, think about how Hugo and Cierea will deal with you leaving them would be on them" said Rebecca
"What like you did" spat jess.
"Sorry I never meant that" said jess
"I know now wake up please Jess" said Rebecca.
"I don't want to leave you" said jess.
"We won't leave you we will always be watching you remember that we love you" said jess's mother.
"But I don't want too i can't go back what is there for me apart from the kids even me and Becker probably won't make it through as far as you and Paul did. "Whispered jess but she knew what she was going to give up and she was willing to give it up now.
End of flash back
"How is she doing?" asked Becker as the nurse came in to check jess's vitals.
"Captain, we have told you after the surgery on her leg we have to let her sleep she will be fine hopefully" said the nurse.
Becker sat next to jess holding her hand as she slept as the nurse put it but they both knew it was a stress enforced comma. That she may never wake up from.
Oh will she wake up what was her decision hmm.*sad face* plz review soon plz x
