It had been seven whole months since Becker and Jess got together.
On the day of their anniversary Matt, Emily, Abby and Connor came back to Jess's flat. They expected them to be out having a meal but instead saw Jess on the sofa crying.
"Jess what is the matter?" asked Emily.
"Becker is not my boyfriend any more" said Jess with happy tears down her face. They all froze to the spot, they didn't know they were happy tears, after everything they had been through how could they break up especially on their anniversary.
"Jess what do you mean?" asked Abby.
"Becker is not my boyfriend anymore he is my fiancé" said jess as Becker rounded the kitchen corner.
"Oh my god really" said Matt.
"Yes we are" said Becker kissing Jess passionately on the lips.
"Ew get a room" said Connor and Matt, Abby, Emily hit him across the head and Jess and Becker just threw a pillow at him.
"Ow" said Connor emphasising on the ow.
"So how did it happen?" asked Emily
"Becker for the love of all that is holy let me in my own apartment" said Jess through her apartment door.
"Jessica dont be so impatient wait ten seconds" said Becker.
"Okay then HILARY 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10" said Jess and the door swung open on her last word. Becker stood there mouth a gap and Jess her hair pulled back in to a bun strands of curled hair fell around her face she wore no makeup and had a midnight blue knee high silk dress.
"Why did i have to get changed at your place?" asked Jess.
"So i could make you a surprise" said Becker, his hair in his cute messy style he only had around Jess a pair of black jeans and a black blouse. What i it with him and black thought Jess.
"I love surprise almost as much as I love you" said Jess kissing him on the lips. As Jess walked in she was over taken by the aroma of Chinese food.
"I cooked" said Becker rather shy all of a sudden.
"Yum" said Jess, as Becker pulled out a seat for him to sit on. Always the gentleman.
They laughed as they ate; they only ate the rice, since everything else was horrible.
"I have a confession I bought the rice it is Uncle Ben's" said Becker. Jess just laughed.
"Okay fortune cookie time I ask if they could make you a pink one" said Becker handing her a pink fortune cookie.
"But you can't eat it apparently it is bad if you eat it they used some kind of ink to make it pink" said Becker sweating buckets now and was rambling.
"Okay Becker calm down I am not that stupid" said Jess. Jess broke the cookie and inside had a ball of purple silk and a fortune slip, Jess unwrapped the silk to find a platinum band with a fairly big diamond in the middle and two heart shaped emeralds either side emerald was Jess's birthstone, she looked at before picking up the slip of paper. Jessica Parker I love you will you be my wife? I dont contain orange. It read.
"Yes yes I yes" cried Jess jumping up to Becker in tears hugging him and kissing him passionately.
"I love you so much" said Becker.
"I can't even describe how much I love you" said Jess.
"Wow romantic" said Emily.
"Yeah congrats action man" said Connor giving him a one arm hug. So did Matt.
