Axel ran to Raven's room and stopped outside, panting heavily. Once he regained his breath, he entered quietly. He saw Raven in a fetal position on her bed, sobs racking her body. Her black blanket wrapped around her shoulders seemed to hide her. He sat slowly down next to Raven and rubbed her back. She looked up at him and snuggled into his arm.

"You're a nice person..." She whispered. Axel blushed and hugged her. They sat like this for a bit, but someone knocked on the door. Raven shifted to go and get it, but Axel stopped her. She smiled a thanks and relaxed. He walked up to the door and opened it to come face to face with Robin.

"We need to talk," Robin growled. Axel looked behind himself at Raven and saw her worried face. He smiled, reassuring her and looked at Robin. Robin beckoned to come out to the hall and Axel obliged. Once, he was outside Raven's room and the door had closed, Robin pushed Axel into the wall, holding him by his jacket collar, "You need to go... now."

Axel's hair covered his eyes, giving him an angry look, "Why," Axel looked up, his green eyes furious, "Why should I?"

"Because you're causing us trouble." Robin said, his voice a bit quieter. He seemed to be scared of Axel at the moment.

Axel smirked, but when he spoke, his voice was dangerously low, "If you try to stop me or hurt Raven, I'll kill you. If you value your life, stay out of my way." After this threat, Robin dropped him. Axel fell onto his feet, still smirking. Robin stepped back one, shivering violently. Then, he took off, scared.

Axel gasped and fell to the floor, "W-what d-did I just do?" He could feel a burning sensation in his chest. He could hear screaming in the background, wait. That was him...but someone else was screaming too. He heard footsteps approaching, which he ignored. He stood and ran to Raven's room. As he opened the door, he saw Raven screaming and writhing on her bed. Axel's eyes widened and he screamed as pain flooded into him. He felt arms grab him and lift him off the ground, dragging him away into a bed.

The pain had forced him to shut his eyes, so he forced them open. He saw glimpses of white walls and ceiling, white beds, wires, machines, Raven on a bed next to him, and he saw the Teen Titans. Cyborg was tending to both of them, trying to hook up wires to their arms and he succeeded. At least, with Raven. Axel was in more pain than Raven and was writhing and rolling on the bed, almost falling off.

Axel shut his eyes again and saw images flash before his eyes. Image of Roxas and Xion fighting, Roxas running from the organization, Xion evolving into a heartless, and Raven being grabbed by the Leechgrave. Then, the pain stopped suddenly. His screams stopped and a man appeared in his mind.

Who are you? Axel asked. What's happening to Raven and I?

I am Ansem. The man chuckled. His eyes shining mischievously. Axel panicked, then everything went black.

What happened?

Whaddaya think? I'm not sick anymore so I hope it's better. Hahahahahahahaha! Axel threatened Robin! There will be an explanation for his outburst and the pain in the next chapter. Very evil... mwahahaha! D

-Clears throat and regains posture-

Sorry for the long update! I start to type and then I am kicked off the computer and I leave it open so people close it!

Axel stirred and slowly opened his eyes. He immediately shut them because of the whiteness of the ceilings and walls. He sat up slowly and opened his eyes cautiously, slowly adjusted to the blinding white. He sat up and looked around, the room seemed familiar, but he couldn't put his finger on it.

Wait. Axel thought. The infirmary! Of course!

He heard the door slide open and he turned his head to the sound. There walked in Cyborg, who was gawping at him.

"What?" Axel said.

"You're awake... fifteen minutes after all that?" He said incredulously.

"After what?" Axel said. What is he going on about?

"All that screaming... writhing and rolling. Don't you remember any of that?" Cyborg asked. He looked at Raven nervously, who was still sleeping fitfully.

"Screaming? Me, scream? Nu-uh." Axel said with a disbelieving look on his face. He pulled his legs over his bed and slowly got up. A wave of dizziness hit him like a train and he plopped black down. He rubbed his face and groaned. The door opened again and in came Starfire. She looked at him and smiled.

"I have some questions I would like to ask." She said in her naive voice.

"Uhhhh. Sure." Axel mentally crossed his fingers that she wouldn't interrogate him.

"Where do you come from? What is your favorite color? What kind of relationship are you with Raven? And will you be my friend?" She said in one breath.

"In order... The World That Never Was, Red, just friends, and sure." He smiled a wide grin. Then, he heard rustling and turned to see Raven getting up.

"Why am I in the infirmary?" She said, sitting up.

"According to him," Axel thrust a thumb at Cyborg, "We were 'screaming, writhing, and rolling.'"

"Writhing and screaming?" She said, dumbstruck. She bit her bottom lip and looked at the ceiling contemplating something. Axel watched her longingly. His face flushed when he realized he was staring. He turned away and scratched the back of his neck.

"We did!" She said. Axel looked her.

"We did?" He rubbed his head, "All this confusion is giving me a headache."
