Here we go. This is for them, for all of them, my friends and family.
I do this for Teddy. To give him a world where there's no wars.
It's all worth it if Voldemort falls tonight. If my mother, father, siblings, and friends live.
I would never have gotten this far without them.
How would I ever be able to repay them if I didn't fight for them?
This is what I was supposed to do. All my talents are used now. Everything I learned.
Dumbledore once told me: "To the well organized mind, death is but the next great adventure."
I owed Dumbledore everything. I had gotten to go to Hogwarts because of him.
I'm singing the school song in my head to a funeral march as always. I can see Dumbledore humming along.
Ron and Hermione, my best friends, what would I have done without them.
I would never have made it through Hogwarts without Sirius, James and Lily.
It wouldn't have been possible to make it through life without George. We'll sleep when we're dead.
Then there's her.
Ginny.
Dora.
Angelina.
I know it's going to happen soon. I close my eyes and wait.
I cradle her fragile body and wait for Dolohov to finish it.
The wall explodes behind me as I laugh at Percy's joke.
I am about to die.
I'll see my friends and wife again.
It's time for me to sleep.
Goodbye:
My friends.
My son.
My family.
I breathe for the last time.
