Cherrykit sniffed the freshly fallen snow, she tentively stuck a paw out and touched a flake. She recoiled "Its cold!" she squiked. Poppyfrost riggled her way out of the nursery with molekit tumbling behind her. "Yes my sweet. Snow is cold but its fun to play with," Poppyfrost nuzzled Cherrykit. "Take your brother and have some fun. Just please, try to stay out of trouble."
cherrykit and molekit tumbled thtough the snow laughing and squiking with pleasure. jayfeather sidled up to poppyfrost. "when will u tell her? she has a big futer. She needs to be perpered." It took a couple moments for poppyfrost to tear her eyes from her kits and answwr jayfeather. "I want her to grow up a normal kit, playing and getting into trouble. then.." poppyfrosts voice grew quit. "then i will tell her."
6 moons later:
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here for a clan meeting!" yowled Firestar. Cherrykit freshly grumbed and as excited as could be ran ahead of her brother and mother to the center of camp where the whole clan was gathered. "Are you excited little one?" jayfeather purred gently. cherrykit replied excitedly "YOu bet!" "shush the ceramony is starting," molekit told his sister. "Here we have two young kits who are ready to be apprentices.." firestar called to the clan. "Molekit please step forward. From this day forward you will be known as Molepaw. Icecloud you are ready for an apprentice. I hope you will pass down everything you have learned from Whitewing to Molekit." Icecloud and Molepaw touched noses and sat down together. "Molepaw Molepaw Molepaw," the clan chanted. "Now Cherrykit step forward," cherrykit all asuden scarred steped up next to Firestar. Her eyes sparkling and her paws slightly shaking. "Cherrykit you will now be known as Cherrypaw. And your mentor will be.." Firestar trailed off as a black cloud came and covered the sky. Thunder roared and it started to rain. The clan scattered for their dens and Cherrypaw stood their frozen. A figure of a cat seemed to be drifting down from the sky. Coming closer and closer. The figure became clearer a dark tom with amber eyes stepped toward Cherrypaw. "who who are uou" stamered cherrypaw shrinking in fear. "you know who i am. i am tigerstar the rightful leader of thunderclan, the leader of Shadowclan and the ruler of the dark forest. I'v come to tell you about your destiny young one. You will be the most powerful leader of thunderclan! More powerful then any of your ancesters. More powerful then ANY of the leaders for the past millenium since the great Thunder, Shadow, River, and Wind lived. More powerful then All of starclan." Cherrykit's eyes shone with the possibilities. "but if you want this you will have to be taught by the best secretly at night by me. Do you wish this?" growled Tigerstar. "yes tigerstar" cried Cherrykit. every kit wishes to be leader. Tigerstar called ouy as he stqrted to fade "Theres a great war coming and you'ed better be ready for it."
