Chapter 2-Baby Nala
Mufasa walked into the cave, Sarafina close behind. Mufasa said "Everyone this is Sarafina, she will be joining our pride and she is pregnant. Please make her feel welcome, Sarabi look after her."
Sarabi walked over and said to Sarafina "come over here we have some antelope if you want some."
Sarafina replied hungrily "Yes please I'm starving." She walked over to the end of the cave with Sarabi.
Once Sarabi had eaten the antelope Sarabi asked "When is your baby due?"
Sarafina replied "Any time now I've been pregnant for 9 months. Ahhh! Sarafina screamed. Everyone started staring at Sarafina. "What, what's wrong?" Sarabi asked. Sarafina replied " I think my baby is coming."
"Oh my god!" Sarabi replied. "Push come on you can do it!"
Twenty minutes later Sarafina had had her baby. She was rocking her baby girl to sleep. Sarabi asked "What are you going to call her?"
"I think I will name her Nala after my grandmother." Sarafina said.
"That's a beautiful name" Sarabi said. "Would you like to see my baby boy, he was born a week ago."
"I didn't know you had a son!"
"Oh did I not mention him, I'll go get him shall I?" Sarabi replied.
"Yes I would love to see him!"
Two minutes later Sarabi returned with her son. "This is Simba." She said.
"Oh he is adorable. They seem to be getting along."
"You know" Sarabi implied "as a tradition that has been going on for generations me and Mufasa have to betroth Simba and they seem to be getting along so.."
"You were thinking him and Nala could be betrothed." Sarafina answered.
"So what do you think?" Sarabi asked.
"I think it's a wonderful idea."
"Really! That's great!" Sarabi said.
