Fine's POV

"How weird, the fact that we're basically the only ones left. Don't you think so Rein?" I asked her as I stared out the window. The weather's nice, but it's so warm that I don't feel like doing anything. Well, I can't think of anything to do, expect just sleep all day. Ah, that would be nice.

"There also everyone else from Mysterious Star and there's a few of the teachers around, but it's strange that it's only us," she said. "Oh, well what should we do for two days while waiting for the train to come?"

" I don't know, I'm hungry though." But I don't really know any sweet that I want to eat right now. I want to eat something different, something that I don't normally eat all the time.

"Fine, you're always hungry, but that is starting to give me an idea, wait for it..."

Then Milky came through the door. "Fine, help me!"

"What? Milky I am not helping you make a 1000 different types of pies again just to figure out how many different ways a pie can be cut." It took us an entire day without rest and there was too much pie for the both of us to each. Imagine trying to eat 500 pies in one day! Then it all going into the toilet an hour later. A waste of good pie.

"I know not to do that again, especially the prune one." That one was just terrible. "I mean, help me figure out what to do!"

"I'm sorry, I'm not an expert at giving advice. Go to Rein." What should we do for a fun event?

Then Rein suddenly yelled out, "Barbecue!" What- wait, that sounds really good right now. "Let's have a barbecue with everyone. That will be fun right?"

"That's a good idea. We can invite everyone too. Milky, let's decide what kind of sweets to bring too." Oh wait, Milky's here for a reason and I forgot to ask. "Anyways, Milky what's wrong? You normally don't worry about that many things. Even during final exams, you're never freaking out. "

"About that... well... I have a partner too, Fine and... well..." She suddenly turned bright red. What's going on?

"Milky, could it be that you're in love with your partner?" With that she turned an even darker red. "It's true! Who is he? What's he like? How long have you like him? Answer the questions, Milky!"

"Rein, you're scaring her if you ask questions like that," I said as I stood up to close to door, so that no one else could hear her as well. I lead Milky to sit at one of the beds, as I said, "So your partner is Mirlo's little brother, Narlo right?" I've seen them walking around school once in a while.

"Yes. He walks with me to classes, even though he already knows where everything is and is always really nice to me and- "

"Rein, I swear I'm going to tape your mouth if you start talking in a guy's voice again," I said before she could even start. Milky's already nervous about this enough, we don't need you to add to it.

"But I don't know what I should do!"

"Weird, you never worry about getting along with people," Rein said. "So why is it that you're worrying this time?"

"Because, I can get along with girls fine, but when it comes to boys I can't really feel comfortable with anyone expect my brother and this is the first time that I felt something like this," she explained. Oh so that's it...

"Milky," Reins and I both said at the same time. "It's your first love!"

"EH?"

Really a lot of people are falling in love lately, Mirlo likes that guy from her art club, Elizabetta likes Fango, and everyone else is just falling for someone. It's almost annoying, but I guess it's okay since they're happy about it. How long has it been since Rein and I have been like that?

"Anyways, we'll help you! Let's go on a barbecue tomorrow and invite everyone. Then we'll get you and Narlo alone, so you can confess," Rein explained.

"But-"

"If you're worrying about your brother, then I can take care of him." Yes, knocking him out sounds like fun. "Or is it something else you're worrying about?"

"What if he doesn't like me back?"

"It'll be alright. If he doesn't like you, then he'll get hurt whether it's Shade or Fine. Won't it be good to get your feelings out of the way now before they even deeper?" Rein... it still hurts for you doesn't it?

"I guess so."

"So take a chance, and let's go prepare!" I said as I took Milky's and Rein's hands. The atmosphere is getting to be really too much for me. "Let's go!"

~Tomorrow~

"Are you sure this is going to go well?"

"Don't back out of this now. I already borrowed a hammer from the Headmistress." I still can't believe that she had 185 different types of weapons. "It's only the beginning of the day, so you shouldn't get nervous now. At least try to enjoy yourself, okay?"

She smiled. "Okay."

As soon as she walked away, Shade came over and said," What were the two of you talking about?"

"I was wondering if there was enough for dessert, but she said that there was. That's it."

"Rein, should I carry that for you?" Bright asked as he noticed Rein's bag.

"Thank you," she said as she handed the bag to Bright. Is she... blushing? Why? It can't be... it just has to be really warm, right? I can't assume things so quickly. I'll just observe the situation for now.

"Fine, should I care yours as well?"

"Thank you," I said as I handed him my bag.

"What's in this?"

"A hammer," I said bluntly. Well, it's not a lie. It'll be fun later if he tries to interrupt. "Rein, shall we get going? It would be nice if we had enough time to build a bonfire for tonight."

"You're right." That's right. She is suppose to be the only one who is not to betray me. Why would she betray me like that? After all we made that promise that should never be broken. If she doesn't betray me, then there's no reason for me to betray her.

I shouldn't be thinking about this on what's suppose to be a fun day. There's no point in thinking about this now. I should just try to enjoy today, no matter what happens. "So we'll go wash the vegetables."

"Okay, be back soon. The grill will be nice and hot soon." Oh right we're already here. Wow, time passes as I think about serious things. "Fine, come help out. There's still a lot to do."

"Okay."

~~~Later~~~

"Now, go to him and offer him a plate," Rein said as she handed two plates to Milky. "Then you can ask if he can come with you later, during the rainbow shooting star shower. It's really pretty and will create the perfect romantic atmosphere for the two of you."

"Okay." We watched as she walked towards Narlo but failed because Shade came towards them. Can I hit him now?

"Not yet Fine. You can poke him with a skewer but that's it."

Darn it. "Fine then," I said as I turned around the skewers over to reveal the slightly grilled vegetables and meat. It smells really good! "Everyone, there's still a lot left, so make sure to a bunch!"

"Hai!"

Then I slammed the knife down on the cutting board. "Fine, what are you doing?'

"Eh? When grilling a fish don't you normally cut off the head, tail and fins?" I asked Altezza as I held up a knife with blood on it. "I already finished gutting it, if you're worried about that."

"That's not it! Put the knife down already, it's creepy! Anyways, why are you gutting a fish anyways?"

"I thought that it would be nice to eat freshly grilled fish when you're outside near a river. I've always wanted to try it~. It really sounds like it'll be really delicious and a lot of fun~. Do you want one too Altezza?"

"I worry a lot for you," she suddenly said bluntly as I put the fish on the grill. As she was ranting to me about it, the fish finished cooking soon. This fish is really good~! And it just feels nice eating outside. I was right to do this. "Fine, there is something wrong with you isn't there?"

"Are you jealous because you haven't eaten one, Altezza? Yelling very loudly is good when you're angry, no wonder you're doing it," Sophie said cheerfully. "Surely, Altezza is the best when it comes to yelling loudly, just like how she's the best at comedy."

"I'm just going to ignore that for now," Altezza said as I finished eating my fish.

"Anyways there's still enough time to build that bonfire that you were talking earlier before it gets dark," Lione said. "Should we go into pairs and start collecting wood?"

"Agreed! The pairings are going to be Altezza and Auler, Lione and Sophie, Shade and Bright, Milky and Narlo, Mirlo and Tio, and then us!" we quickly yelled out before anyone could stop us.

"Why can't we chose our own partners?"

"Because it would take too much time," we both said at the same time. "Anyways, Mirlo and Tio are going to stay back to fill the buckets of water just in case something happens."

"Why can't they help gather wood?"

"Because Tio will carry too much for him to handle." After about 5 minutes of questioning, Rein and I somehow got paired up with Bright and Shade. Me being who I am, I carried my hammer just in case.

"You actually had a hammer?"

"Didn't I tell you this earlier? I ran into the Headmistress and she insisted that I take a hammer with me. Now let's go." Now, I just have to make sure that he doesn't interrupt them. Oh, there's some wood over there! When I walked over, I could feel my eyes widen at the sight.

Rein looked lovestruck as Bright helped her carry the large piece of wood. No way... There's no way that she would do something like that. I refuse to believe that! She wouldn't, there's no way that she would do something like this. We've been together for our entire lives, and we both know what they did to us, we had both promised to each other that should never be broken, but still this is just... I want to be told that this is a lie. Just like in the past.

"Fine, are you okay?"

"Of course. Help me pick up this wood, will you?"

No one needs to know about this. Until the day that Rein wants to talk about it herself, I'll just say that I know nothing. But can I just believe that all of this is a nightmare?
