Rein's POV
All ready for tomorrow's broadcast! I stood up and said,"I'll be leaving now!" Then I walked out enjoying the warm Autumn sun that shone through the large windows, feeling satisfied. Everything's just been nice lately, Bright and I hang out more, Fine and I are getting along again, and there's nothing bothering us at I feel like a huge storm has passed.
"Even if you think that why are you here right now Rein?" I turned to Altezza, when did she get here? More importantly, where am I? And how did she know what I was thinking? "You have club activities right? Why are you in my club room?"
Why am I... Oh I remember! "It's because I wanted you to help me make a decor, so I rushed here right after."
"You have a decor maker in your room and already know how to make one don't you? Why do you need my help?" She held up a necklace of green and white with little charms all around. Surely if it's Altezza then she can help me make the perfect decor! I'm sure about this, there's absolutely no doubt about it!
"It's for Fine and nothing that I've made seems good to me. I want it to be something that she'll be able to wear everyday and be perfect for her, but it's just not coming out right!" After all, it's a sorry present for suddenly accusing her. Now that I think about it, after that incident happened, Fine and I have been even closer lately.
"I swear you're too much of a perfectionist."
"I love to try~, so Altezza please help me," I said in my voice that I use to get my way with people. Hey, important things call for important methods.
"Your nice, creepy voice, doesn't scare me. I thought that you already found that out," she bluntly said.
Then I went in really close to her and said,"Are you sure that you're not scared?"
"Not really." Darn it! "But I'll help you anyways. In return through, you have to promise not to fight with each other again. Do you know how much trouble you two put us through for worrying about you? Understand?"
"Don't worry, I don't think that we won't fight anymore." Because now, we're both supporting each other in our loves.
"I see. So what colors were you planning on making it and what kind of decor do you want it to be?"
"I don't really know what kind of decor that I want it to be, but I know what colors. It must be red and pink beads no matter what."
Fine's POV
"Fine, what are you doing?" I looked at Milky. "Today we're making hotcakes, it's not like you to make something different."
"Oh I guessed that since the batter for hotcakes and waffles were the same, that I could make some for Rein. Honey waffles are her favorite anyways."
I thought that she was going to say that I can put honey on top of the hot cakes, but instead she smiled and said, "I'm so glad that you and Rein are finally talking to each other again. It got really awkward when you two weren't happy and energetic as always!"
"Sorry for making you worry about that. Rein and I aren't going to be arguing with each other any time soon. in fact we're going to even support each other in our love lives," I explained to her.
As I put batter in the waffle maker she said, "Fine, you like someone?" I never told her did I? Umm, what should I do? Should I actually tell her that it's Shade? But then he might not like me and then- She gave a small giggle. "By the looks of it, you must really like him."
"I do, but when it comes to things like this, I'm so dense about it. That and I'm not even being myself anymore, so I'm a little scared if he likes my girly side more than my real self." Even through I've already forgiven Bright, I'm just scared to not be girly. Most boys would prefer a girl who's pretty and girl-ish, right?
"Ohhh. I think that it'll be alright. Besides, if the guy really likes you, then he'll accept you no matter what and if he doesn't like you then he's a really terrible person." Milky. Wait, she's talking about her brother like that...I'll just ignore that fact for now. "Oh right! Take this with you to put on the waffles," she said as she handed me a jar of blueberry honey.
"Is it okay?"
"Of course! Fine, the waffle's burning."
"Oh, wait what?" I turned and opened the thing quickly, except it wouldn't open! "Milky, what should we do? It's not opening!"
"Throw it in water!"
"That will make it bigger! Don't we have a fire extinguisher?"
"No!" Then it busted completely in flames! "What should we do?" Eventually the door was slammed open and the milk like substance was blasted out onto the flaming object. The fire went out but who?
"Fine, next time this happens you can pour milk on it and it'll go out."
"I'm sorry." I've should have known that already. "But Headmistress why are you here?"
" I was just walking nearby with this and... Anyways you two shouldn't worry about it this time. I'm sorry, this was my fault, I didn't order enough in time."
"It's okay, thank you for coming here to give it to us," Milky said as she took it from the Headmistress. "Would you like some hotcakes? There's plenty."
"It's alright. I have some things that I need to do. By the way, Fine, what do you think happens when a promise between two people is broken? What will happen to the person who kept the promise no matter what?"
"Well... I guess it'll be hard for that person to trust someone." Kind of like what happened between Rein and I except we made up quickly. "But it's stupid, if they don't know the entire story, then that person's just as bad as the one who broke the promise."
"I see. Well then, be sure to remember that." Huh? The way she said that, it's almost as if she knew that I'll make that mistake again, but just because she said it like that doesn't mean that it will happen. I just have to be careful of what I'm doing. Besides it's not like I'll make the same mistake twice.
After School the Next Day Rein's POV
I give up, it's too hard, why did I let Chiffon talk myself into letting me see her math book? My head was practically throbbing because of all the confusing numbers and signs.I looked up at the ceiling trying not to remember the painful math text.
I'd thought that studying today would be a good thing since I didn't study last night. Fine and I had too much fun with decors and sugar, we weren't able to sleep last night.
Ah. Soon the autumn tests will be gotten over with and then we don't have anymore officially hard tests until spring. I'm glad that we don't have to test in the winter like normal schools, that leaves more room for fun in winter, but why is it the tests that are given at this school so hard? I'm amazed that Fine and I even got a decent score on that test, it was just barely enough to get in.
I pulled my head up and opened the window. Outside leaves of beautiful colors were falling down from the trees above, there was a slight wind but not enough to mess up someone's hair. It was beautiful and peaceful, but with it being peaceful it's also very quiet and boring. If only I had something to do right now. All my homework was finished, I had used up almost all the beads to make a decor. I could go to my club, but I really don't want to. Emily might question me about Bright-sama again.
"Rein, did you finish the book I gave you," Chiffon cheerfully asked as she walked into the room.
"Take it, there's too much horror in it," I said as my arm lifelessly held it up to her.
"I told you that it was too hard for you. Even if you do want to get a better score on this year's test, you should only study a little at a time." I groaned slightly in response. Seriously, why didn't she talk me out of it?
"I'd better go back to the student council room."
"Wait, Chiffon is there anyone interesting in there? Like a boy student council member or something?" I was desperate, what can you expect? I already knew that Chiffon wasn't interested in-
"The Student Council President for the boys. His name is Toma. I find him interesting," she answered.
*Gasp!* Could this be? "Do you like him?"
After a minute of thinking about it she said," Perhaps. I don't have a clear understanding of how feelings work so I wouldn't know."
"Come on Chiffon, this is the first interesting thing about love that you've ever said anything about! All the other times, you just said that no boy was extremely interesting to you." It was the same with her making friends, there wasn't anything odd about any of the girls that she's met before Fine and I.
"Correction, I said that no boy was particularly interesting to me," she said. "Well, I should get back before it's too late. By the way Rein, there's someone waiting outside for you."
I perked up when I heard those words. "Really? Who?"
"Your partner. He's waiting in the front," she said as she left the room.
Maybe talking to Bright-sama will help me get rid of my boredom. I stood up and walked out the door. But, why would Bright-sama want to talk to me? Wouldn't he rather be talking with Shade or someone? What would we even talk about? It's not like he's bad in academics, he's actually one of the smartest people that I know, Chiffon being the first so he does not need help on the upcoming exams.
"Rein, there you are."
I blinked back to reality and saw that I was in front of the dorms. "Bright-sama."
"Sorry for taking time away from your studying. Chiffon had told me that you were working hard to understand things in the math book she lent you."
"Well, it's okay. Just because I was working hard didn't mean that I actually got anything that book said. No wonder Chiffon always has the best grades of school, she can understand really difficult math." Darn it, I just told Bright-sama that I was stupid! Is he going to think that I'm an idiot?
"Well, I'd thought that you might get bored just studying when it's such a nice day outside. I was about to take a walk, will you join me? Walking is very good to let your mind relax especially after studying hard," he said kindly, not saying anything about me being and idiot. Bright-sama really is a very nice person!
"Of course, Bright-sama!" As we walk throughout the outside of the campus, I actually felt relaxed. Like my mind didn't have to worry about anything anymore. The feeling was pleasant and nice. But somewhere in my mind I felt like someone was almost glaring at me, it's probably just my imagination through, right?
Normal POV
Unfortunately, nearby a girl with long pale blond hair, watching the pair, her green eyes filled with envy. 'Looks like I need to teach Rein a lesson. It's sad too, I actually liked her too.'
Then a girl, most likely a follower came up to the blond haired girl. "Emily, it seems that Fine likes Shade-sama as one are we going to handle first?"
"Only Rein. Even if all of us were to match up with Fine she would still be able to beat us. If we just leave her alone, she'll be her own demise. Besides, I think if we aim for both then we'll have less of a chance in succeeding."
"Understood. Should I call everyone?"
"Yes. We've things to plan."
