Rein's POV

Ahh~! Finally finished with all the tests! I feel like I studied too much this week. This weekend, Fine and I should go out and have fun, not worrying about anything school related. I wonder if either of us has enough crystals to go into town? Maybe...

"Students are allowed into town this month even if they don't have the required amount of crystals, so have fun buying presents for Christmas." Eh? When did the Headmistress come in? I didn't notice at all since she didn't slam the door open like that I think about it, it's only a little while left before Christmas and I haven't start my shopping yet.

"Headmistress thank you for not slamming the does open this time," Tanba Rin-sensei said cheerfully.

"Someone kept me up all night on the phone," she said rubbing her temples. "Noche, remind me to hurt your Head Teacher in some way. Seriously he just had to call after my mother and my mother just had to talk to me about me getting married soon. By the way Tanba Rin-sensei, how long have you known about me getting forced to be married?"

"Um... your fiancee seems like a nice person. I don't know his name or anything, I just saw the picture." So the Headmistress has an arranged marriage? I hope something like that never happens to me.

"Do I look like I'm supposed to be married at this age?" But if no one actually knows, your age how are we suppose to answer? "Nee, Rein if your parents wanted you to marry one particular person, what would you do?"

When did she manage to get next to me? "Decline, since I know nothing about them and I already have someone that I like. Besides, my parents wouldn't do that to me." I'm not afraid to admit that I like someone anymore. This is just a small step for me to get more confidence to confess my feelings to Bright-sama.

"Good answer. Have some crystals," she said as she gave me a few sky blue stones. Yay, more crystals to my collection! If I save more then I can skip some days to go shopping! "And I'm going to get revenge the Head Teacher. What method should I use?"

"You don't have to do that, Headmistress," Tanba Rin Sensei said. If she actually does do anything to the Head Teacher of their school, he'll either be in a hospital for 15 months or get universally embarrassed. Either one could happen.

"Anyways, on Christmas Eve there's going to be a party in the ball room. You don't have to go if you don't want to, but if you were to come and act like perfect royalty, your grade for your etiquette test grade will go up. That and there's other stuff that's planned like games where you win prizes. Normally it's a lot of fun and this year I'm baking a huge cake again. And on Christmas, you can do whatever you want and you don't have to be back until 12 of the next day. That's about it, later!"

Then she walked out of the room and the bell rang. We get to go to town, I have to get Fine to go with me to buy presents for everyone. "Fine, let's go shopping for dresses to wear for this year's Christmas Party. I don't think that last year's fit us anymore." I already know exactly which dresses to buy.

"Sure. We should get it along with everything else that we need. This year we should try having a really fun time with everyone during Christmas," she said. "We're going right now?"

"Well, if we don't go any sooner it'll take longer to buy things," I explained.

"Oh, right, I've got to do something first. I'll met you in a couple of minutes." Before I could say anything, she quickly left. I feel like she's spending more time with Shade, of course that's good, but somehow I just feel a little left behind. While Fine's progressing with her love, I feel like I'm not getting closer at all. Bright-sama and I spend time together once in a while, but it's normally something school related. I wish that we could just have one day where we can simply hang out. Nothing that has to do with studying, clubs, or classes. I wish that I had some idea if he even likes me or not.

"Rein, where are you going?"

"Emily, I'm going to town with ?"

"Well, I was just curious. Actually, I wanted to ask you to help me with something and you're the only one who can help me," she said sweetly. "Please~?"

"Exactly what do you need help with?" I have a really bad feeling about this.

"I want you to help me get a date with Bright-sama on Christmas, so that I can confess to him. I'm a little nervous asking him about it myself and since you're such good friends with him, I was thinking that you could help me. So please?"

"I'm sorry, but I can't help you. If you want to do that then please ask Bright-sama yourself." Even if Emily is my friend, I can't help her with her crush. I like Bright-sama and I don't want someone to take away my chances. I heard her muttering something. "I'm sorry what was that Emily?"

"Oh I was just talking to myself. I guess there's no helping it, this is something that I should be doing myself," she said, brightly smiling. Yeah there's something weird going on with her. "I'll see you later Rein." As she walked away I couldn't help but wonder if she's hiding something, but what could it be?

"Rein, are you going into town?"

"Yes, Bright-sama. Why do you ask?"

"I wanted to know if you need someone to accompany you. It's always good if you have company with you," he explained to me.

"Fine's coming with me too. Would you like to join us?"

"No, it's alright. I was just worried that you might be lonely. See you later Rein." I just waved goodbye. Oh so that's why. Bright-sama is the type of person that cares a lot for others. That's not really any reason for me to feel like I'm treated specially by Bright-sama in anyway.

I grabbed my bag and started to walk out. Well, this will be convenient, because I need to chose Bright-sama's Christmas present. "Rein, good timing. I need your help with something."I blinked and realized that I was walking towards a tree. I've really need to look where I'm going when I thinking about stuff.

"Shade? What is it?

Fine's POV

"So you want me to help you get Rein a present? I think that anything you chose will be good. Just make sure that it's cute," I told Bright. "It's not really that hard to chose a gift for Rein, just get her some cute clothes and she'll be happy."

"But I don't know what she would like best. Please Fine, you can help me decide what matches her tastes best since you're her sister, and I'll treat you to as much ice cream that you want," he pleaded to me.

All the ice cream I can eat and all I have to do is help Bright pick out a gift for Rein. "I'll help you, but keep your word about letting eat as much ice cream as I want." He smiled in relief. "And, you have to help me pick out a gift for Shade," I added. Since, for the past couple of years all I needed to worry about were gifts for girls and Father isn't really that hard to chose for. He likes everything that Rein and I send him.

"Why?"

"I don't understand what boys would like best," I said simply. Can't give that much away after all, though I think that Rein might've told him. Still, I want to tell him properly myself.

"Do you like him or something?"

Panic rushed though and not one bit of it showed on my face. "I can't think of anything good to get him. I can think of something to give to you and to people in the soccer team, but I can't think of anything that Shade would like."

"So you like him?"

"You should know that anyone who gets on my nerves, gets flipped, literally." After about another second I said, "I want to tell him myself, so don't say anything. I'll help you out tomorrow, so help me out too and I won't eat that much ice cream. Just a normal person amount... or a somewhat normal person amount."

"Got it," he said in a slightly laughing tone.
