Fine's POV
"School's really tiring, I wish we could've had a little more time off. It feels like it didn't last long enough," I said to Rein as we walked out of the classroom to the cooking room. Rein's club doesn't have any activities until next week. "Don't you think so Rein?"
"Well, we did manage to get far in our relationships with Bright-sama and Shade, so I guess if we hang out more on our off days, then we should be able to confess to them soon."
"Yeah, you're right." But we don't have the many off days to begin with so... that might not work. When's our next break anyways? Normally it's pretty random, the days that Headmistress lets us have a break. The only day that we always have an off day is her birthday, but that's not for a while. When...?
"Fine-san, Rein-san, you two are really lucky," a voice said from behind us. I looked behind us and saw a pale faced girl with a messy, pale blonde, braid.
"Alice, how long have you been back there?" Rein asked. "Please speak up if you're back there. Is there something you need?"
"Actually..." She quickly explained as we entered the cooking room.
When she was finished Rein and I both were shocked and said,"What? You're having trouble with your fiancee?"
"Please, don't say such things so loudly," she said looking around to see if anyone was listening to our conversation. "It's not that I don't like my fiancee, I do, but he has no interest in me as a romantic partner and just ignores my feelings. I honestly have no confidence at all, so can you two help me?"
"There no problem with that, but what should we do," I asked Rein. We can't even confess to the guys that we like, how are we suppose to help someone else?
"Isn't that obvious, Fine? We're going to give her a make over," Rein said with her serious and girly mode on maximum level.
"I see. A new, comfortable look that'll give her confidence, now what sort of look will we give her? But first things' first, who's your fiancee anyways?"
"His name is Spade He's the heir to the throne the Land of Cards. We're childhood friends. But I've liked him for a while."
Rein and I looked at each other, then smiled. "Let's give you confidence and a new look that is pretty enough to let anyone see you. Rein, get the makeup, brush, and ribbons from your bag."
"Got it."
As she did that I took her braid and undid it. "Changing your hairstyle is a good way to start. You take very good care of your hair and it's long and silky, so we can do a lot to it."
"I always thought," she started to say as I started brushing her hair. "If my hair was as long and as beautiful as a goddess, will it connect me with my true love?"
"I've never thought about long hair like that. Interesting. Here are the ribbons Fine," Rein said holding out multiple ribbons of various colors. "Which color and style should we use?"
"Let's get her bangs out of her eyes." After multiple hairstyles, I couldn't think of something that would look good on her. Hmm... This is hard.
"Why don't you get a headband to pull back most of the hair that's covering her face? Here let me show you," Milky said, wiping the cream off of her hands. She took the longest ribbon she could see and tied it around her head like a headband. Then brushed her bangs to the side. "How does it look?"
Rein and I both looked at the new hairstyle. The ribbon kept her hair in front under control and now you can see her pale blue eyes. Her hair was slightly wavy too. This is good. Then Rein said, "Cute~ I wonder if I should do my hair like this too?"
"Thanks Milky," I said bowing slightly to her. Rein spread out all of the cosmetics on the counter. Wow, she carries this much in her bag? NOw I'm kind of glad, Ive never asked for a make over from her. After putting natural make up on Alice, I said, " So cute!"
"I'll give you a make over too Fine," Rein suggested happily.
"No way," I said bluntly. Still don't like make up. "Is there anything else that we need to do?"
"Let's see...," Milky said, closing her eyes to think. "We're going need and excuse for her to confess, like what you two did for me during the bararaque. Alice, let's say you need help with homework."
"But I already finished my homework and normally I'm the one who helps him with schoolwork and normally he's the one who doesn't get the lessons," she said bluntly. "But it's not like he's dumb or anything. Clueless, though." Aww, how cute, she's defending him and insulting him at the same time.
"Well, we need a reason, or else he's going ask why and then that just gets complicated," Milky said.
"I have an idea," Rein said. "It involves you and Narlo too."
"Will it help me with Oni-sama about my boyfriend?" Rein nodded. "I'm in. What? He followed me when we were just going to hang out near the lake and talking. He's a good brother, but way too overprotective. Good luck with him Fine."
"Okay...huh?" What does she mean by that? I'll find out eventually I guess.
"So basically, I'm going on a double date with Spade, with Milky and Narlo?"
"Yes and Fine will distract Shade, so he doesn't find out that you four aren't going on a double date," Rein explained. "Fine, it's perfectly okay for you to knock him out for a few hours."
"And what exactly are you going to be doing Rein," I asked. Now, to knock someone out... I think Headmistress would enjoy this job. Or maybe I can get some of that sleeping candy that she has. Least painful, no need for the hospital, and really sweet all at the same time.
"I'm going make sure that no one interrupts them, so Milky, please tell Narlo about this so he doesn't get confused," Rein said. At this point I just hope she doesn't see Bright and they have a perfect date instead. Would she do that? ... Yes, she would.
"Got it. Then Fine please clean up, you guys can help yourselves the what's left of the cake," she said as she quickly packed up a few slices of cake and went out the door. well as long as everything goes according to plan it should be good. Now... it's time to get started on that cake.
Confidence is important for a girl that wants to grasp love. That's why you should hold your head high, you are perfect the way that you are, be proud of that.
