Bright's POV

Shade already went to Headmistress. And right now, all the teachers are having a meeting deciding themselves about something so classes were canceled. I'm not really sure exactly what for. Well, maybe I'll take this chance to try to get my mind off stuff by practicing fencing, but I doubt I'll be any good today. I'm still thinking about what happened on Valentine's Day.

Then I bumped into someone. "I'm sorry are you hurt anywhere? I wasn't paying attention to where I was walking," I said extending my hand.

Then I noticed something. "It's alright, I wasn't paying attention too much either...," she said looking up at me with her sea green eyes. Rein. She looks a little different, with her hair up in a messier ponytail, but it's still Rein. She immediately stood up. "It's alright, I can get up myself."

"Oh, I see."

"I'm sorry for bumping into you," she said bowing quickly and running away before I could say anything. Why is she avoiding me? I don't think I did anything bad to her, so why? Maybe I should follow her?

Shade's POV

I opened the door slightly. "How unusual, normally you wouldn't come here unless I forced you. Come in," she said looking up from whatever was in her hand. I stepped in and took a seat. "So why are you here? No, a better question would be what did you do wrong?"

"Well, there's actually two reasons why I'm here," I said. Start off with the easier question. "Do you know anything about my father? Like where he is?"

"King Night? I've heard about him before when I was visiting a planet," she said sewing something together. "So many rumors about that man. I've gotten so curious to the point where I decided to search for his dream garden."

"Dream... garden?"

"Didn't you know? I was born as a princess in a place where anyone could see someone's dream. I had a natural talent for things like that and a strong power."

The Headmistress really is interesting. I mean, I know she was unusual, but not in this way. "So what is a dream garden exactly?"

"The dreams connects the past and present. In every dream garden, there is an actual garden that is where multiple dreams a given a life so to say, it's a place that best represents a person's heart. For instance, yours is filled with images of-"

"That's not relevant right now," I said quickly. "How can you know where he is, if you've never met him?'

"Simple. I search for his dream garden through Milky's dreams. Then I can see everything; his memories, his thoughts, his loved ones. I can see it all."

"So do you know where he is?"

"I've got some good guesses. He's been helping his siblings all around the universe, so I don't know exactly where he is now, but he's not cheating on your mother."

"Thank goodness." That's something that I don't have to worry too much about anymore. Eh, but now I have to ask her about that other thing. Let's see, ask her and get almost killed or ignore it and get ignored by Fine too? "Do you know what I did to make Fine so upset?"

She didn't say anything for a minute. "You know Shade, that girl has trusting problems. So she doesn't fully know who she can trust with all her heart." Trust? I feel like I heard someone say something similar to that. "She felt like she couldn't trust you that one time."

'That one time'...? Let's see last week on Valentine's Day... I can't really think of anything, so what'd I do wrong? Oh! When Milky and I suddenly got that letter... Wait what did I forget to do? Um... It was a promise with...Fine. I forgot to go play basketball with her that one day and... I must have left her there for hours! And in the rain.

"Now you understand. That was a very important promise to her. It's already too late to regret this, but you already know that. At that moment all of her trust for you broke and she ended up shattered. Girls have very fragile hearts, so you must-"

" 'Be careful'? If that's what you're trying to say then I don't want to hear it!" Why am I getting upset? "I'm tired over hearing the same things over and over again, then those exact same things resulting into nothing! And what would you know about love? Or me?" I don't know what I'm feeling anymore.

"I know a lot of things. Like you are the Prince of the Moon Kingdom of Mysterious Star, you're good with kids, you went under a false name to know how people really acted and Fine was the first one who found out about that. Now here," she said handing me a cup. As I drank it she said, "You're just a little agitated and confused."

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that," I said handing the cup back to her, feeling calmer. I'm amazed that she hasn't hit me yet. "How do you know so much about love and how Fine and Rein feel anyways?"

"I'll tell you a story. I liked someone, he married my twin sister, that was older than me by 10 years. She stole the throne from me, they have a kid and my mother is forcing me to get married to someone else."

"Oh, so that's how you know." That's why she knows what Fine and Rein are going through... "You explained that really simply."

"If I explained that anymore, I'll cry." Who knew she was an emotional person? "Now, I've already thought of a plan for you and Bright. But time is needed in exchange. A month or two probably, do you accept these terms? "

"I'll wait for as long as I need to," I said hoping. Please don't tell me I'm selling my soul. "Is there anything else I can do?"

"Watch over her. I would say... right now is when she's at her weakest both physically and emotionally. Just don't handle her too roughly, is all I'm asking."

"Okay. Thanks in advance," I said as I exited the room. Weakest? I wouldn't say that Fine is weak, in the slightest sense, but I really don't get what she means half the time anyways. I don't really see anymore, and even if I do see her, what am I suppose do?

"Here Fine, they're your favorite sweets," I heard. That voice sounds like Rein. I turned my head in the direction of where I heard the voice. I saw Fine and Rein underneath a tree. Fine was looking pale and Rein had a worried expression holding a box of cakes. "You have to eat something. This isn't good for you."

"Rein, it's hopeless. I'm just not hungry anymore. Try not to worry about it." Fine? Not hungry? Am I in a strange nightmare? "I just haven't been wanting food. Running and sleep is like my food now. I'm not tired in the slightest and I don't really need to eat, so it's okay."

"But your body won't-"

"I'll be alright, so please get rid of those cakes. I don't want to see them." For Fine to be rejecting sweets... This can't be real. There's no way that she can't be eating. She left soon after, not wanting to hear Rein worrying over her. I had just noticed something, Fine was small. She seemed delicate, breakable. Her shoes weren't heels anymore. But flat boots.

"Shade, I followed Rein and overheard her conversation. Fine really hasn't eaten for 2 weeks," Bright said appearing beside me.

"But it's Fine, she loves to eat more than playing sports." Then I realized something. "Why were you following Rein anyways?"

"Well... that's not the point right now."

Bright's POV ~Following Rein~

Technically, I'm not stalking her, I'm just following her and she doesn't know it. I watched her as she walked towards a sweets shop that I remember Shade telling me one time. Ah, I have the sudden carving for sweets. I walked towards the shop. Maybe I'll get one of those white chocolate cupcakes, they look pretty unique. I noticed Rein sitting at one of the nearby tables. Then a waiter came to her.

"Welcome Rein. Where's Fine? Normally she's always coming here with you on your off days," the person with blond hair and blue eyes said to her.

"She hasn't been eating well lately, and she suddenly started throwing up. I thought that I should get her some of her favorite sweets to get her eating again," Rein said. Fine hasn't been eating well? That's something that I should tell Shade.

"That's really nice of you. Well then, what should I get for you? "

"A blueberry tart with rose tea please," she asked sweetly.

"Understood and if you don't mind, may I join you?" What?

"Sure, I don't mind at all," she said happily.

"Then your order will come out soon, please wait a moment." What's going on? My chest hurts, but nothing happened to me and somehow I feel... really irritated. What's with this feeling?
