This takes off from where what you is not what you get left off. Katherine Blake is at large but not quiet. She is seething at the events that led to her partner being in jail and upended her smooth life into one of chaos. Frank and Joe are elated to get hired to find an invention by an eccentric man who used to live on the outskirts of Bayport. But then their father comes up against a wall in his own case and recruits them for help. Juggling the two mysteries keeps the boys on their toes, but when a missing person's case comes knocking at their door, the boys have to race time to find the answers.

This is a corrected and changed version of my original story, When the night comes falling from the sky. It starts out as a rewrite of the blue spine classic Clue of the Screeching Owl. When Nancy is blinded by a case that goes wrong. She feels like her life is over. She can no longer work on cases or do anything that she use to do. But when Frank and Joe go missing on a case, Nancy just might be the only one who can find out what happened.

Joe heads to Singapore on his own for a case involving the financial firm where Biff works while Frank deals with a case linked to the aftermath of his time at Hargreaves Manor. Encrypted series.
