Along their journey, they meet Serafina, The Phoenix Empress from the kingdom of Nadine who also wants Naraku destroyed. Through their journey, they find love, friendship, and healing. Inuyasha and Sesshomaru are going to be a bit OOC.

She traveled for so long, aimlessly, without prospects... until one day someone persuaded her to stay. When she finally found happiness, "he" had ripped it out of her hands. She hated Naraku deeply inside her very soul, yet she could not stay away from him. She was, at last, bound to his infernal web of lies, and he, in a way, tied to the attraction he felt for her.

This was the last thing Inu no Taisho expected when he came back to life... but how was he supposed to know that a little woman from the future changed his sons' entire way of thinking! Modernish AU. Inuyasha has lousy luck with women. Well people in general. 1st he'd been treated like crap his whole life, earning a false reputation. He thought he found someone he could be with in Kikyo. After she was murdered he met Kagome, who was weird&pushy yet nice but when he had to breakup with her after one red flag too many, Sango stepped up as his bestfriend to help out.

Unable to fight the ritual any longer Sesshomaru's mother enlist the help of a virginal Miko in the most unvirginal rituals. Will Kagome make it though hot nights, blood, lust & fights to the death in order to protect a man who doesn't need nor want protecting? Will he pick the right mate, will the right one prevail? Will Kagome come out of this untouched by bad habits & by him?

Kagome finds herself back in the Feudal era once again after being gone for three years. However, things have changed with her and Inuyasha. The spark is gone and to make matters worse she's in the middle of a vacation with her friends at Sesshomaru's beach estate.
