Hello! I'm back. Did you miss me? Hehehehe… here's the second chapter for this story. Hope you'll like it and please review!
Kluke's POV
"The fountain is beautiful!" I said.
"Yes, it is." Andropov replied.
We were both in front of the fountain. The water was pure and the fountain looked amazing. I couldn't find the others and I just wanted to hang out with Andropov. I figured we should get to know each other since we're roommates and everything.
"You look cute with your hair like that." I heard Andropov suddenly say. I quickly looked at him and my face turned pink. He realized what he just said and his face turned pink like me.
"I-I'm sorry! I don't know why I said that!" he said.
"N-No. It's ok. Thanks for the compliment." I told him. He just looked away while scratching the back of his head nervously. I was trying my best to shake off my blush. No-one ever said that to me before since I always tie my hair in a simple ponytail.
After awhile of waiting, the teachers and Zola came. "Forgive us for the wait." Zola said when she reached us. She and the teachers had some piles of paper for us. "Is everyone here?" Zola asked.
"Yes!" all of us said.
"Good." She said. The teachers, along with Zola, gave us the papers. Each of us got one paper. I got my paper and it was small. It was folded and the top of it had my name. I opened it and it said 'Fire'. I was wondering about what it meant. I just waited for everyone to get their own paper.
"What did you get?" Andropov asked me.
"I got fire." I told him. "You?"
"Same thing." He told me.
After awhile, the teachers and Zola told us what the paper meant. "These papers say your element. On your acceptance test, we all researched your powers and we found out your elements. As you know, in this world there are 4 elements. Fire, water, earth and wind. Each of you has either those elements. For those who got the fire element, your class will be the one that has the fire mark on the door. For those who got the water element, your class will have the water mark and so on for the other elements. Any questions?" Zola said.
None raised their hands to ask something. "Good. You may go back to your rooms. Classes will start tomorrow at 8 a.m. to 3.p.m. You're all dismissed!" Zola continued.
All of us understood and we went back to our rooms. While I was walking with Andropov, someone placed their hand on my shoulder. I looked back and saw my friends behind me. "You go on ahead, Andropov. I'll see you later." I told Andropov while looking at him. He nodded and walked away.
"What element did you get?" Bouquet asked.
"I got fire. What about you guys?" I said.
"I got water." Bouquet said.
"I got earth." Shu said.
"I got water." Jiro said.
"I got wind." Linda said.
"I got wind, too." Noi said.
"I got water." Sahlia said.
"I got earth, maro." Marumaro said.
I was disappointed that I was the only one who had a different element from the others. But, I'm in the same class as Andropov so I guess I won't be lonely.
"Aww… it's too bad that you're in a different class from us." Bouquet said.
"Yeah. But, don't worry about me. I won't be lonely. We'll still see each other around campus and we can eat together when it's time to eat." I told them.
"Well, you're right about that. But we can't eat together. The headmistress made us separate when it's time to eat. There are four cafeterias in here and it's organized by our elements. We can only see each other when school's over and the weekends." Jiro explained.
All of us were disappointed. "Oh well. It's better than never seeing each other again, right?" I told them while trying to keep a smile on my face.
"Well, I guess you're right." Sahlia said.
We said our goodbyes and went to our rooms again. I was still feeling a bit down since I won't see my friends very often. Oh well…
After awhile of daydreaming in my room, it was time to eat dinner. I and Andropov went to the cafeteria, but we were still looking for it. We saw a teacher on our way. We went towards her and we asked where the cafeteria for the fire element was.
"Your cafeteria is on the east of the building. You'll see a fire mark on the door." She told us.
"Thank you." We both said while following her directions.
We made it to the cafeteria and we ate dinner with each other. A lot of other kids were in this room. They ate and chat and they were having fun. The food wasn't bad either. We ate some vegetable soup and it was delicious. I expect nothing less from the best school that the king himself built.
We finished eating and went back into our rooms. It was still 7 p.m. and our bedtime was 9 p.m. we still had two hours left to look around. "I'm going for a walk, Andropov." I told him while walking towards the door. He was reading a book.
"Sure. Come back when it's time to sleep." He told me while showing me his gentle smile. I waved my hand goodbye and went out the door. I decided to walk around the garden. It was beautiful in this time of day. I went to the fountain and the water already stopped running out of it. I looked at my reflection in the water and I didn't look half bad. My hair was still down and I was wearing my pajamas already. I changed after we finished eating.
I was happy that I was staying in this amazing school. It's clearly the best school in this world. I doubt there's another school like this. But I was wrong. When I came back to the room, I talked with Andropov about random things. When we were having fun, I decided to ask him.
"So, Andropov?" I started.
"Yes? What is it?" he asked softly.
"Do you think that there's another school that's as great as this one? Well, I don't think so. This is the best school I've ever seen."
"Well, this school is amazing. But there's another school that's as good as this one."
"What? Really? Which one?"
"It's the school's greatest rival. These two schools always have bad blood between them. We think of them as our enemies."
"Enemies? Why?"
"Because they use magic for their own desires and they don't care what happens to other people in the process. It's an amazing school like this one though. You can say that it's the dark version of this school."
"That's terrible. So, because of that, there's a big rivalry between these two schools?"
"Yes. The school's name is… Mika academy."
"Mika academy?"
He just nodded. We looked out the window and I saw the fountain from the garden. The water was shining like there were jewels inside it. It was a beautiful sight. I looked over to the clock and it was bedtime already. I walked to the light switch and turned off the lights.
"It's getting late. We should get some sleep." I told him.
"Alright." He said.
We went t our own beds and went under our sheets. "Good night." We both said to each other. After that, sleep took over me and I fell asleep.
Phew! I was getting dizzy from typing. Did you guys like it? Please review and see ya next time in the next chapter!
