Hello everyone! I'm back with this story. I don't have anything to say :P

Andropov's POV

The battle was finally over. The idea of this war was just to destroy the school and nothing else. Being able to hurt those Minano Rats was just a bonus. But…

"Kluke…I'm really sorry." I whispered quietly to myself.

"What was that?" I heard Schneider say.

I sighed at his question. "It's nothing."

The wind users were helping the other students to fly towards the school. Of course, I was with Schneider and some other people. I just got a bit injured from the battle. The pain from those injuries weren't nearly as bad as the pain in my heart. I burned the one I loved. Wherever my mother is, I'm sure she's disappointed in me. I'll find out soon enough.

At headmaster Logi's office…

"Headmaster, it's time to fulfill our deal." I said to him.

"Very impatient, aren't we?" he mocked.

"Bring my mother back!" I shouted. I was getting impatient. He was just sitting there like I wasn't even in the room. He finally stood up from his seat and walked over to me. He motioned me to step back. I nodded and I did what he asked me to do.

He stretched out his arms, trying to summon something. Suddenly, the floor had a bright mark on it. The light was blinding. But I had to keep my eyes open. The mark was a circle with some other drawings in it. I saw a shadow that slowly became solid. "Mother…" I whispered. My eyes went wide opened when the light disappeared and there was a body in front of me. But it wasn't my mother. I fell to the ground in shock when it tried to come closer.

It wasn't even human. Her entire body was black, her eyes were glowing red, and her hair was long black. It was anything but human. I reacted automatically and used fire to burn it. I heard her shriek at the pain. It wasn't ten seconds and it already ended up in ashes. I heard the headmaster laugh evilly.

"W-Where is my mother…?" I said, still haunted in fear.

"You should know by now! Bringing the dead back to life is impossible, even with my powers!" he told me while still laughing.

"B-But…what was…that thing…that you summoned." I managed to say between my fears. I was still on the floor. I was too shocked by the creature that he summoned. I could hardly breathe.

"It was just a prototype that the ancients tried to make. They tried to make a human being but they ended up making the creature that I just made. It's impossible for someone to bring back the dead. It's your own fault for believing in childish fairy tales." He told me.

My heart shattered at his words. He lied…he lied… those words kept echoing in my head. Everything that I've done for him…was for nothing. I betrayed Kluke, burned her alive…and all of it was for nothing! Anger took over me and I stood up. I summoned every amount of my power and blasted a ball of fire at him. But the result was beyond my imagination. He stopped the ball of fire with his bare hands.

"You will stay loyal to me! Or you can say goodbye to your precious Kluke from that pitiful school. Do you understand!" he said when the fire disappeared. I took deep breaths since I used all of my power. I wanted to kill him so badly. He lied to me, he made me hurt the one I love, and now…I can't ever see my mother again.

"I'm sorry for disturbing you." I said while bowing down. I have to stay loyal for Kluke's sake I reminded myself. I went out the door and I wanted to scream so badly, so I did.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"

I was trying to calm down in my room. Schneider wasn't here so it was a good thing. I kept crying into my pillow. I hated the headmaster so much. But he was right. I should've known that bringing the dead back to life was impossible. I should've known that my mother was gone forever. All of my dreaming made this happen. Everything that happened was because of my foolishness for believing in my own ridiculous fairy tales.

"Kluke!" I remembered about her. She's still badly hurt from the battle!

I got off my bed and ran towards the door. I dashed out the building and went to Minano academy. It's further away if I walk. It's feels much faster if Schneider flies me there. But it doesn't matter as long as I get there. After a long walk (or run) I finally made it to Minano academy. There were a lot of students that were trying their best to rebuild the school. The rooms that were still in one piece were used for the injured students so they could get better. I can't get caught here. I should've thought about this when I was on my way here.

I went in quietly and luckily, the students were too busy in rebuilding and helping their friends that were injured. The walls were ruined so I could see who was in the room. I was hiding behind a tree that wasn't too burned so it was big enough to hide me. Before I knew it, there was someone else that was hiding from the students besides me. Her arms and legs were wrapped in bandages. She couldn't walk straight either. Her emerald eyes… I missed them. She couldn't take it anymore. She lost her strength and collapsed.

"Kluke!" I yelled before running towards her and catching her before her head could meet the hard ground.

"That voice…" she murmured in my shirt. She pulled her head from my chest and looked at me. Her face still had burn marks on it. "Andropov?" she murmured again.

"Kluke, I'm so sorry. I never meant to hurt you. I never meant to-" I was cut off when she brought her hand to the back of my head and pulled me into a kiss. I gasped in the kiss. I moaned and groan for a few seconds. Why? I burned her and she kisses me? What's wrong with her? I thought. She wrapped both her bandaged arms around my neck and pulled me closer. She was getting more passionate with me every second. More guilt was running around my heart. I tried to hold in my tears but it didn't work. I ended up crying. She pulled me closer and deepened the kiss. Her touch felt as if she was trying to tell me something. It felt like she was saying: it's alright.

She finally broke the kiss. I was lost in her emerald eyes. "I'm so glad to see you…" she whispered. Her words caught me off guard in more ways than one.

"You're…glad?" I asked her. She nodded and smiled. I missed seeing her beautiful smile. It hasn't been a day but it felt like I haven't seen her for years. Unconsciously, I pulled her into another kiss. I deepened the kiss even further. There's nothing to stop me from loving her anymore. There's no reason to hold back my feelings. The obstacle in my way has cleared and there's no reason for me to be afraid of moving forward. I broke the kiss because I had to tell her something.

"I…love you." I finally confessed. Her cheeks turned a bit red at my words.

"I love you, too." She told me.

"Thank you, Kluke. That means so much to me." I said.

Before she could say anything else, someone was calling out her name. "Kluke! Where are you?" the voice shouted.

I heard Kluke sigh in disappointment. I slowly stood up with Kluke in my arms. "You should get back. You're still injured." I told her softly.

"But…I want to stay here…with you." She said.

"Don't be so stubborn. You'll see me again, I promise." And with that, our lips met for the last time today. I shot her a smile when I broke the kiss. She just nodded and I gently kissed her forehead. "That's my girl." I whispered. She slightly giggled but her smile soon became a frown.

"I'll see you again, won't I?" she asked with concern in her voice.

"Of course you will. I swear to come back to you as soon as I can."

Done! Phew. That gave me a headache! I was blank at the moment so I was struggling to get some ideas. See ya next time!
