Don't have anything to say XP
Andropov's POV
It's finally the weekends. I've been waiting for a break from school so I could see Kluke like I promised her. It was hard to leave her behind without explaining my intentions before. It's possible that she's having some ideas that might make things harder for me to explain. But it's much too complicated so I guess she hasn't figured it out yet.
I shook those pointless thoughts away for the day. I finally finished eating my food. I dashed out the door and went straight to my room. I didn't expect to see Schneider in the room already. He looked at me with a curious look on his face. It's either because I was huffing or because I finished breakfast already. Or maybe both.
"Why have you finished breakfast already?" I asked him.
"I should be asking you the same thing." He said plainly.
"Well, I…uh… didn't have any appetite." I lied.
"Oh. Same thing." He told me.
I closed the door and went to the mirror on my side of the room. It was big enough to reflect my entire body so I could see what I'm wearing and everything. I didn't look bad but I wanted to look better. I haven't seen Kluke for a few days so I wanted to make a good impression. I heard Schneider chuckle when I was searching for different clothes in my closet.
"What?" I snapped. He finally stopped laughing and just had a big grin on his face.
"Why do you look so nervous? You never search for nice clothes before. What's up?" he asked me, trying to make me tell him everything. I was trying to make up an excuse but it was too late.
"You're going to meet that girl again, aren't you?" he said mockingly. He had an evil grin on his face. I knew what he was thinking. I sighed and turned my head to see him.
"So? I'm not chained by the deal anymore. There's no reason for me to stay away from her." I told him.
"Yeah, yeah." He said while waving his hand in front of his face. "Want me to help you?"
"Help?" I raised an eyebrow in disbelieve. "What for?"
"Oh, don't be so harsh." He stood up from his bed and walked over to me. "Just to help a friend, that's all." He continued after reaching me.
"Are you going to ask me for money?" I asked him coldly.
"No, no, no. Don't be so worried. And besides, you don't even have any money left." I sweat dropped at the last part.
He pushed me down on a seat. In front of me was a small mirror that only showed my hair and face. "H-Hey! What are you going to do?" I asked him when he picked up a hairbrush.
"I'm just gonna fix your hair." He answered shortly. He started to brush my hair but it felt more like he was pulling it besides brushing it. I'll admit that my hair is a mess but I like it that way.
"Owww!" I said when he pulled a part of my hair.
"It's your own fault for using so much hair jell!" he told me while trying to get the brush out of my hair.
"I-I don't use any hair jell! Owww!"
"What? You're saying that this is natural?"
"How should I know? Stop pulling it! You're making it worse!"
"Stop moving! Or do you want me to cut your hair instead?"
"S-Shut up! Just stop pulling it!"
He finally got the brush out of my hair and I sighed when I saw my hair in such a mess (Unlike usual). "I don't need your help. I'm running late because of this." I snapped. I tried to fix my hair with my fingers but it didn't do much. I only managed to fix it just a little bit. I decided to leave it that way since I was late. I went out the building and walked to Minano academy.
I made it to the school. I was looking around to see if anyone was around. Like before, they were still too busy at rebuilding the school. There weren't many students that were badly injured. Just a few bandages and burn marks. All of them were busy. There wasn't even a single student that was walking around the campus; not even Kluke. I guess I went all the way here for nothing. She's probably recuperating somewhere or helping the others in rebuilding I thought.
I heard some piles of wood get dropped to the floor. I immediately turned around, only to see Kluke. She wore a worker's uniform as pants. She tied the sleeves together on her waist so the top part was replaced by a pink, sleeveless top. She wore black boots and her bare arms were covered in dirt. The thing that caught my attention was her hair. Not only was it untied, it looked a bit shorter and the bottom part was black, as if they were burned.
"Andropov!" she shouted before jumping over the wood and hugging me. I immediately hugged her back. "I'm so glad to see you." She continued.
"I'm sorry if I took so long." I said.
She released me and shot me a smile. She tilted her head and started to mess up my hair. "What happened to your hair?" she asked me.
"Schneider messed it up before I got here. But…" I trailed off and held part of her hair in my hand. I examined it for awhile. It felt like as if I've seen her like this before; but I just didn't notice it. "I did this, didn't I?" I said, my eyes still locked on her burned hair. Her eyes lowered at my words. She slightly sighed after I let go of her hair. It took me off guard when she pulled my head and kissed me on the lips. It's typical for her to try this. She'll do anything to get my mind off the previous battle.
She broke the kiss and I gazed into her eyes. I decided to forget about the battle so her efforts wouldn't be wasted. This girl is truly special. She's forgiving, sweet, loving, and much more. I'm happy that I met her. And I'm sure that my mother is also happy for me. I regret about following the headmaster's orders, but that order gave me a chance to find happiness again. If I didn't do that order, I would never have met Kluke and I would never feel anyone's love anymore.
"Oh, I almost forgot." I heard Kluke say to herself before walking away from me. She went towards the pile of wood on the ground. I followed her and we both scrunched down so we could pick up the wood.
"Are the woods for rebuilding?" I asked her.
"Yeah. I got better yesterday so I wanted to help in rebuilding. I went to the forest earlier to get these."
I just muttered an 'oh'. We continued to pick the wood up. After we finished, she took my part of the wood and walked towards the school. She told me to wait here and she would come back. I just nodded and she went off. I laid my back against the wall and waited for her to come back. I wanted to help her but it'll be a mess if the other students saw me.
"I'm back, Andropov." I heard a girl say. I turned my head and I saw Kluke. She tied her hair into her usual ponytail, so I wouldn't see the burned marks on them. She wore her pink turtleneck dress with a yellow sash around her waist. She also wore white boots and pink socks.
I stood up straight and walked towards her. I tilted my head a little before pulling her ribbon; making her hair untied. "I like it better this way." I told her. Her cheeks turned a bit red when I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her passionately. Her ribbon was still in my hand. I almost dropped it when she started to tickle my neck with her fingers.
She broke the kiss and it made me feel a bit disappointed. "I want to take you somewhere." I started.
"Where?" she asked curiously.
"You'll know soon enough. It'll make it easier for me to explain."
"Explain? What do you mean?" she was getting more and more curious. I gave her another kiss and quickly broke it.
"Please?" I begged. She just nodded at me. But I can tell that she still wants to know about where I'm taking her.
Done. Find out what happens in the next chapter. See ya and good night :)
