Hey there! Here's chapter 11 for this story. I was pulling my hair out for this one. Enjoy and please REVIEW!
Andropov's POV
We've been walking around for a few…hours? I don't know since I was having such a fun time with Kluke. The time passed so fast, I didn't even know that the sun was setting. We both laughed when we noticed how late it was. Instead of going back to our schools, we just went back to my house. It'll be dark soon so Kluke and I were going to sleep there. I'm sure that the others are worried about us, but we couldn't care less. We can make up an excuse for it. And like I said before, there's no reason for me to stay away from her anymore.
"Andropov? What do you want for dinner?" Kluke asked me.
"Um…anything will do, I guess." I told her.
She shot me a smile. She put on an apron and started to search around the cabinets. I was curious about what she will cook for me, but I'm not expecting much. There weren't many ingredients in the house. I was just sitting on my seat in the dining room. The smell of Kluke's cooking filled the house. It made me feel even more anxious to eat with her. I usually cook my own food but since Kluke's wants to cook for me, I thought that it might be nice. And besides, I haven't eaten with anyone since my mother died.
After awhile of waiting, Kluke came while bringing a tray. It had two bowls on it and two glasses of water. She put the tray on the table and I saw that she cooked some soup. It was a simple dinner, but a nice one.
"Sorry. But I was only able to cook soup." Kluke said while taking the apron off and sitting down. She sat across me and we started to eat. I took a sip from the soup and it tasted great.
"I had no idea you could cook." I complimented.
"Yes. But Bouquet and Sahlia were the ones who taught me how to cook. Before I met them, I was terrible at things like this." she told me.
We continued to eat dinner together. The moon was already up, and stars filled the sky. I could see the villagers' houses get lit up by the lights from the inside. I haven't seen this view in a long time. I'm sure it looks better from where mother is. I always wonder… what does heaven look like? Is it really higher than the sky? Can the spirits of the dead watch over their love ones? These questions were always in my head since that day. Since the funeral began three years ago, I always had these questions in my head but I never bothered to think about it since I met headmaster Logi. When he promised me to bring back my mother, I never thought about anything else. All I could think about was seeing my mother's soft smile.
But all of that changed when I saw another girl's smile. Her emerald eyes, her laugh, and her smile were completely different from my mother's but they still reminded me of her. All though they were different, it could ease my sorrow more than I could ever think. My thoughts changed because of Kluke. She saved me from loneliness and sadness. If I never met her in the first place; I could've been sucked in by the darkness that always chased me in my nightmares. The darkness that I was so afraid of disappeared when Kluke offered her hand to me. She pulled me out from my nightmares and brought me into a wonderful dream.
After my mother's death, I was deathly afraid of falling asleep. If I fell asleep, nightmares will haunt me. The darkness that my mother would always chase away, it'll come back to me. My mother was gone and no-one would ever lend me a hand to pull me out from sorrow. Before, only my mother mattered to me. She meant the world to me. When her life slipped away from this world, the pain and fear would always come back. Not even on my birthday will I feel happiness. People try to help me but none of them could ever matter to me. My world was taken away from me. How could I ever keep living? What is there for me to fight for anymore? All the miracles in the world won't be enough to make me happy. But it was different with Kluke. She wasn't a miracle or anything. I don't know how to describe it, but she was like an angel that the heavens sent to me. Or, is it possible that my mother was the one who sent her?
"Andropov? What's the matter?" I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Kluke speak. I felt something wet run down my cheeks. I was so caught up in my thoughts; I didn't even notice that I was crying.
"It's nothing. I'm fine, Kluke." I said while wiping my tears away.
She still looked worried about me but I just shot her a smile. She smiled back and nodded. I looked over to the window and the sky got darker. The moon and stars were giving light to the village.
We finished eating our soup. I took another sip from my water and finished. Both of us cleaned up the plates and glasses.
"Phew. We're finally finished…" I heard Kluke say while wiping some sweat off her forehead.
I looked at her for awhile. I grabbed her shoulders and turned her around to face me. I gave her a passionate kiss. I heard her moan for a second before pulling me closer and deepening kiss. I broke the kiss and we both gazed at each other.
"What was that for?" Kluke asked kindly.
"I just felt like it." I told her.
She giggled a little at my answer. I released her and walked in my room. I searched around my closet and pulled out some pajamas. I walked over to Kluke who was in front of the door.
"Here. You can wear my pajamas tonight." I told her while giving her the clothes. Her face turned a bit red at my words.
"T…Thanks." I showed her to a room where she could sleep for the night.
"You can sleep in my mother's room." I said before closing the door and leaving her to change.
I went to my room to change as well. After a few minutes, I walked over to Kluke's room and knocked on the door. "Kluke? Are you finished?" I said while knocking.
"Y-Yeah. But I look ridiculous!" I heard Kluke say from the other side of the door.
I was trying my hardest not to laugh. "I'm sure you look nice." I said.
"F…Fine." She opened the door. She wore a blue shirt with buttons. The pants were the same color as the shirt. It only reached her knees though.
"You look great." I told her.
"R-Really?" she said nervously. I smirked at her words. I wrapped my arms around her and gave her another kiss on the lips.
"Did that answer your question?" I asked when our lips parted.
She giggled before catching my lips in hers again. I moaned when I could feel her tongue going around my mouth. I kept running my fingers up and down her back, causing her to shudder. She broke the kiss, slightly giggled and blushed. Her gentle smile made me think all kinds of thoughts. We let go each other and I walked over to the door.
"Good night, Kluke. I'll see you in the morning." I said before closing the door, getting in my room and fell to sleep.
Done! Sorry if it's too short. I'm really not in the mood to write so; this is the best I can do for the time being. I was thinking that they could just go back to the academy, but I thought that it might be too boring. So, I'm plotting at the moment. Please bear with me ;P
