Hi there! Here's the next chapter for this story. Enjoy and please REVIEW! Sorry if I took so long XP

Kluke's POV

I was looking out the window, wondering what I'm going to do here. Andropov was still in class, studying like always. He didn't want to leave me alone but I told him that he was going to get punished if he doesn't go. And after a long chat, he finally agreed to go and he said that he would come back for me after he finished everything that he needs to do.

What was that feeling before? I thought to myself. I was trying to figure out what happened to me when Andropov came yesterday. When I saw him on the ground, my mind went blank. I could see what I was doing but I couldn't control my power or my movements. It was as if I was paralyzed by power. All I could think about was protecting Andropov from that man; the headmaster of Mika academy, Logi.

Knock

Knock

Knock

I walked over to the door when I heard the knock. I opened the door and my eyes shot wide open. Logi was holding Andropov captive. He had his sword under Andropov's chin. "Come with me or else Andropov won't live for another day." Logi told me.

"K-Kluke… d-don't listen to him. R-Run away." Andropov said.

I ignored what Andropov said to me. I nodded at Logi and he grinned. He motioned me to follow him as he walked down the long stairs. I walked behind him, my gaze locked on Andropov who was still held captive. There was a complete silence as we went down the stairs. All that I could hear was the footsteps that we made. The tension in the air was making me uncomfortable.

We reached the bottom and went outside the tower. I noticed some other students were waiting for us. It didn't take long for us to go out the gate. After awhile of flying with the wind users, we made it to a large valley. I had no idea why they wanted me to come here.

"What is this place?" I asked the headmaster who was next to me with Andropov.

I heard him smirk at my question. "You'll find out soon enough."

I was getting worried and scared. I was having an uneasy feeling. I looked at Andropov from the corner of my eye. He was still held captive. The headmaster's sword was still under his chin. I looked at that golden-haired man with a serious look on my face.

"Once I do whatever it is you want me to do, you have to promise to let Andropov go!" I told him, trying to sound as brave as I can be.

He gave me a nasty grin and said "it depends on how you do. If you try anything then I won't guarantee his safety or his life."

We landed and we were all in the center of the valley. There was a strange device in front of us. I felt a hand roughly push me to it. I looked back for a second but eventually looked at the device. It was just a small pillar that was only a little smaller than me. It was covered in dust and dirt. Is this an ancient device? I thought to myself.

"Kluke, don't do it!" I heard Andropov shout from behind me.

I immediately turned around to see the sword gets higher, making a line of blood come out from Andropov's flesh. "Hurry and place your hand on the machine or this boy won't live!" the headmaster threatened me.

Without hesitation, I placed my hand on the center of the machine. Almost instantly, the machine glowed bright blue. The dirt and dust was escaping it, revealing markings on it. It had writing on it but I couldn't read the ancient inscription. Then, my vision started to blur. I heard Andropov's yelling, but I could barely hear him. The feeling I had was the same like before, back at Mika academy. Before I lose consciousness, I always have a strange feeling flowing around me. It felt like…power.

Andropov's POV

"Kluke!" I kept calling out her name but she didn't respond.

Then, the same glowing fire appeared around her. She suddenly flew in thin air, slowly turning around, and showing her piercing yellow eyes. The ground started to shake. Kluke flew higher to the sky, and a glowing light covered her entire body. The light spread bigger and bigger until it became solid. Kluke turned into a large phoenix. I felt the headmaster release me and walked over to the giant phoenix. Where's Kluke? I thought.

Once the headmaster reached the phoenix, it went crazy. It started to blow out fire from its mouth. The others went flying up to the sky, carrying me and the headmaster away from the beast. Headmaster Logi was burned a bit and so were I and the others.

"Wait! We can't leave Kluke alone with that monster!" I said.

"You still don't understand do you?" the headmaster said.

"What!"

"That 'monster' is your beloved Kluke!"

"H-How… but what happened! How did she turn into that? And why did she go crazy and tried to kill us?"

"Do you remember the Secret Scroll you gave me? It wasn't a list of dark spells. It was a code to figure out how to create a demon."

"B-But… why Kluke?"

"You saw what happened to her back at Mika academy, right? It's said that a person who has that power will be the sacrifice for making that demon."

"Sacrifice…? So…are you saying that…the monster back there was…Kluke?"

"Yes. The phoenix has her soul. I don't know the reason why she went berserk like that. I guess something went wrong when the transformation began."

My eyes shot wide open when I heard his explanation. "We have to go back! We have to stop her from destroying everything!"

"And how do you expect us to defeat a monster?"

I froze at his question. "But…we can't leave her…"

"Listen, Andropov. None of us are ready to give up our lives for a girl. And even with my powers, there's nothing we can do. Tell me, do you honestly think you can wake her up in the state she's in?"

That's it! Sorry if it's not so good, but that's the best I can do. I got no mood to write stories at the moment. I think the next chapter will take longer as well. It's the holidays so I'm trying to have some fun and not get too stressed out with my crappy stories ;P
