Hi guys! Well, here's chapter 16. Sooo sorry for the late update!
Jiro's POV
"Since the headmistress isn't here, I guess she's back at the academy." I told the others.
We were already in the valley but there was no-one there. The battle was over and there were burn marks on the ground and small mountains of rocks. At least there were no victims. We didn't want to waste any time so we flew to the academy. After awhile of flying, we finally made it to the academy. Everyone was already there. Thankfully, they weren't badly injured. I guess the students from Mika academy only wanted to attack Kluke and nothing else.
"Headmistress Zola!" all of us shouted when we saw Zola in the middle of the crowd. She heard us shout and walked over to us.
"Where are Kluke and the others? Are they ok?" she asked us.
"They're ok." Linda said while slightly huffing.
"They're at a mountain cave a bit far from here." Shu explained.
"Kluke's calm down already but there's no telling when she'll go berserk again. We have to turn her back to normal as soon as possible." I finished.
"Alright then. Can you take me to her? I'll just let the other students rest here." She said.
Without another delay, we hurried to the cave. Linda was getting tired. She was huffing as she flew us to the cave.
Andropov's POV
"Just wait a little longer, Kluke." I whispered gently to the phoenix.
"What's taking them so long?" I heard Noi complain.
"Just wait, maro." I heard Marumaro say.
I smiled when I saw her friends talking to each other to past the time. "You have very interesting friends, Kluke." I whispered while still stroking her feather.
"Guys, we're back!" I heard a familiar voice shout. It was Shu's voice.
All of them were back with headmistress Zola. Linda wasn't doing very well. She was huffing and she was barely walking straight. The water users went to her aid and healed her within seconds. Noi was looking nervous because he was worried about Linda. It's obvious that he has a crush on her.
"Andropov." I heard someone say. I turned my head and I saw the headmistress in front of me.
I stood up and let her examine Kluke. Kluke was already awake when the headmistress examined her. I was worried about what she would say. What if we can't turn her back? Will she stay like this forever?
I stopped thinking about it when the headmistress walked over to me. The others went over as well. Linda was alright now, even though Noi was still worried. "So, what are we supposed to do?" Bouquet asked.
"There's a possibility that she won't turn back to normal." The headmistress told us.
"But there must be something we can do! We can't leave her like this!" I complained.
"There is a way to save her. But we have to get some ingredients to make the potion." She explained.
"Ingredients? Why didn't you say so? What ingredients are we supposed to get?" Shu said impatiently.
"It's not that easy, Shu. We have to get them from dangerous places. There are monsters that we'll have to face if we want to get them." The headmistress's face turned a little pale at the thought. "We can't ask the other students to help. They're still weak and injured."
"Then we'll go!" I declared. "Kluke is trapped in that monster! We can't just leave her like this!"
"That's why you're staying here and let us search for the ingredients." I heard the headmistress tell me.
"What?" I stared at the phoenix that was already asleep. "Alright…" I said after sighing in defeat. "I'll take care of Kluke when she loses control again. You guys have to get back here as soon as possible!"
