Dimitri
I pull back on my crossbow and it locks in place. I start to stalk the figure in the woods. I slowly make my way behind it until I'm twenty-five feet away from it, and shoot at it. Right through the heart.
I sigh and pull my arrow out of the dummy and start walking back towards my cabin thinking to myself if I have something living to shoot at.
I break through the woods and see Chiron talking to Percy Jackson. I press the gold nugget on my ring to make me invisible and sneek over to stand by Percy.
"Take Grover and Annabeth to Rome," Chiron says to Percy.
"Rome? Why Rome?" Percy asks, looking puzzled.
"Rome, New York, not Rome, Italy."
"Oh, okay."
Chiron trots away and Percy sighs, "How am I going to get there? It takes at least four hours to get there by car!"
I reappear with my crossbow propped up on my shoulder, "You could take pegasi," I smirk at Percy's face as he sees me.
"Gods, Dimitri! Don't do that!" he sighs.
"Why does Chiron want you to go to Rome?" I ask.
Percy looks reluctant at first, but he tells me, "Chiron was informed by one of his messanger hawks (A/N I just made that up) that while it was bringing back a message for him, it saw a girl running in the woods and it senced a godly presence and that she was probably a demigod."
"Cool," I was starting to get jumpy, I had never been to the outside world since I got to Camp Half-Blood five years ago, "can I come too?"
"Sure, why not?" he looks at me sternly, "just make sure you have everything assembled." and he walks off towards his cabin.
Yes! I run to cabin 7 (Apollo's cabin) and get a quiver of arrows, ambrosia, and nectar and put it in my backpack.
"Hey Dimitri," my brother Will comes up to me and pats me on the back, "where are you going?"
"I'm going to get a new demigod!"
"Cool! Your first time out! Go get'em!"
"Thanks Will! See you when we get back!" I wave to him as I run down to the tree that Thalia Grace (now a hunter of Artemis) was for five years.
Percy, Annabeth, and Grover are already at the tree.
"Took you long enough," grumbles Annabeth.
I look at Percy and he gives me an apologetic look. Annabeth doesn't want an Apollo kid here, I interpret from her frown. Jeez, moody much?
Anyway, I shrug it off and get on a Pegasus and we lift off.
Pegasi are amazingly faster than cars, so it takes us only a half an hour for Grover to smell a potient demigod smell.
"Man! I've never smelled something so potient since I met Nico!" Grover says, and I see Percy tense, "anyway, she is probably in that cave right there," and he points down to a large rock.
We veer towards the woods and start to rapidly decend.
