It was a sunny day in the Pride Lands and Simba was up early, but inside the cave. "Kopa! Wake up!" said Simba. Kopa opened his eyes, "Alright...Alright, I'm coming." He said. He heaved himself to his feet and walked out of the cave, his red fur glinting in the sun. He looked around at his surroundings. He sighed, "I am the older brother though." He said to himself.
Kopa or Ezio as he was originally called was a master assassin from Florence, Italy. Well, he was. He accidently altered his timeline and ended up as Mufasa's son. He was so tired, his eyes felt very heavy and his legs were weak. "Can't...we...get...some...more... rest?" he asked, "No way! You slept too long!" Simba said. He began to think about his previous life. "Soon, all of this is mine!" Simba boasted, "Ours remember. I'm your brother, so we have to share." said Kopa. Simba rolled his eyes, "Yeah, Yeah. Whatever." He said. Kopa shrugged and followed his brother out down Pride Rock.
"Well, well. I knew you were here." said a voice. Kopa turned to see a young lioness come towards him, "Oh hey Vitani, glad to see you here!" he said. He had always admired Vitani's beauty, her tuff of hair draped down over one eye. He was love-struck, so Simba had no choice but bring him back to reality by slugging him in the arm. "Sooo, you wanna hang out?" asked Vitani, "Um, Sure." said Kopa. The trio began to make their way towards the plains; Kopa noticed something other than Vitani's beauty. The ghost of his former self was walking beside him, "You're..." said Kopa, Ezio smiled. "Exactly, I am you and you are me. Well, you're not supposed to exist. If only I had have been more careful with the apple." said Ezio. "So, am I the only cub that can see you?" asked Kopa, Ezio shook his head "I'm afraid not. Simba can see me, Nala can see me and so can Vitani." said Ezio. Kopa wanted to roll his eyes, but Ezio gave him a stare. Kopa slunk away. "Young masters!" said a voice, "Oh, let me guess dad sent you here?" asked Kopa, Zazu flew overhead. "Lucky I, Zazu can't hear all the bad things I have to say about him." said Ezio. Kopa agreed with him, "He's a grouch anyway." said Kopa.
They began walking back towards Pride Rock, Kopa was still so tired. Ezio stopped and handed him something. "I'm sure you remember this." He said, handing him a familiar item. "My...My hidden blade! How did you find it?" asked Kopa. Ezio smiled, "I found it somewhere, somewhere important." he said. Kopa fitted it on his right paw and activated it, "It still works!" he said. Ezio was still grinning, "Of course it does." He said
