Po was smiling, that is, until Shifu whacked him with a stick.

"Ow!" the panda yelped, jumping up and rubbing the sensitive skin where he'd been swatted.

Shifu turned to face him. "A dragon warrior doesn't doze in the sun like a sleeping cat."

He gestured to Tigress, who was curled up in a cute little ball as she turned her face towards the sun's heat, smiling blissfully.

"Well, this one does." Po objected. Shifu laughed. "Okay then. Carry on."

As his master turned to leave, Po got a funny feeling he was going to tell him something important.

"Okay, okay." He sat up. "What is it?"

"There are visiters who aren't from the valley. They seem alright to the average mammal, but I sense some sort of darkness in them." Shifu face Po. "I want you to go meet them, find out what their intentions are, and if they plan violence, kick them out."

"Literally, right?!" Po asked, striking a kung fu pose.

Shifu smiled. "Right."

Po headed to the doors of the Jade Palace, but suddenly froze.

"Aww man! Not the stairs again!"

He stared in dismay at the whole flight of stairs below him. He sighed.

"Well, it's easier going down than up." Po muttered.

...

Five minutes later, Po lay at the bottom of the whole staircase, grinning victoriously.

"Ha ha! Yes! I did it!"

He got up, slipped, and got up again. He picked up the object he'd slipped on: a stone from one of the stairs. Looking perplexed, Po looked up and saw the empty space...twenty five meters up the stairs.

Po slumped over.

"Oh, COME ON!"

...

Po tiredly walked into the village, looking for the visiters that Shifu had told him about.

That's when he saw them: A timber wolf, a raccoon, and a leopard seal. The wolf was carrying some sort of crate that had a large rag draped over it...and it moved.

The raccoon turned, saw him, and waved.

"Hey! Aren't you the Dragon Warrior?"

Po grinned, straightening up. "That's me!"

The raccoon turned to his comrades, grinning. "Guys! Look! The Dragon Warrior!"

The leopard seal turned to look at Po. Her eyes had a dark sinking look to them, almost like water wells. But there was a sort of hostility in them, hostility that instantly put Po on his guard. The wolf turned to look and Po saw the same look in his eyes as well.

From inside the crate came a yell.

"Let me out!"

It sounded alot like a young girl, maybe eight or nine years old. That's when the crate jerked and a young panda girl, wearing a patched up dress, fell out and ran for her life, the wolf on her tail(wait...do pandas have tails? LoL)
