Alright! Don't have much to say this chapter except the fact that I FINALLY got off my lazy butt and redid some (all) of my earlier chapters, since quite frankly...they suck. So if you could...I dunno, maybe check them out and see if they're ok? I'd appreciate it! :)

Anyways, thanks to everyone who's reading, love you all, and hope you enjoy this chapter!

Annabeth POV

"Thalia! What the Hades are you doing here?" Annabeth glared fiercely at the daughter of Zeus, the girl in question glaring right back just as heatedly.

"Um, excuse me? I believe I've told you to quit using my dad's name like that!" The other figure got up to a sitting down position, and crossed its hands defiantly.

Annabeth once again froze with disbelief. No. Freaking. Way.

There was only one person left in the world that could say that.

"Nico!? Not you too!" Annabeth practically screamed at him.

Piper put a calming hand on her shoulder. "Whoa, Annabeth. I'm sure they're going to explain exactly why they're here...right?" She looked pointedly at the two.

Thalia stood out, letting her disguise flutter to the ground. "Alright. I am NOT in the mood for some 'Thalia what were you thinking!?' lecture. Point is, if you think were just gonna sit patiently at camp while you guys go off on some hopeless quest to save our cousin from freaking snake people, you need to go to a psychiatrist. No. Way. In. Hell. Are we going to abandon Percy like that." Thalia crossed her arms and glared at the demigods, as though daring them to contradict her.

Annabeth was pretty sure she saw Leo drooling, and it didn't take a genius to figure out why.

Nico also stood up, a bit less confident but with just as much power. "Percy is our cousin. Family. He's saved our lives more times then we can count. And besides, after what happened to my last family... " he faltered for a second, while Annabeth's heart throbbed in sympathy, "No way am I letting him die." He finished, fire in his eyes and voice.

Though Annabeth was still furious with them, she could understand where they were coming from. Annabeth understood firsthand just how desperate they were to get Percy back. Percy was all the family they had left...

Still.

They had no right to sneak out of camp! Percy was missing - he couldn't be dead, he just couldn't! - and they judt decide to pop in like it's some kind of game! Percy's life was on the line!

Annabeth huffed. "Well, now that we're in CA, there's no way we can send you back so I guess we're stuck with you." She groaned in annoyance. "Speaking of which, HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE?!"

Thalia held up a hand. "Chill, Owl Head. Long story short, after Chiron announced the quest, me and Nico here decided to go after you - it wasn't really much of a discussion, we both knew immediately - but I'm guessing Chiron thought we'd do that, and basically told us he's be stalking us for the next 24 hours, so if we wanted to go after you there'd be no time to board your plane and sneak on. He had a couple of Hebe kids track us for the next day, took forever to get them to stop following us. Gover wanted to come with, but he's been getting splitting headaches from the empathy link." Annabeth immediately felt guilty. Grover must be in such pain, especially since he could catch glimpses of what s going on. Annabeth had no doubt they were torturing Percy right now.

"By the time we shook off the demigods who were assigned to trail us, you guys were long gone." She stopped thoughtfully. "It was almost too easy. I could almost believe Chiron WANTED us to go and help you find Percy..."

Frank nodded. "I personally don't know Chiron very well, but that does seem like the kind of thing he'd do..."

Leo laughed. "So true!"

Annabeth just huffed. "Well? Keep going!"

Thalia glared. "What do you think I'm doing? So we snuck into the Hecate cabin and convinced them to help us. Percy did kinda give them a home at camp and make their mom appreciated after all...anyways, they started chanting some kind of spell, andmade glowing symbols appear out of nowhere. Did some kind of freaky transport thing, nearly lost my lunch." She gagged.

Noticing the glare of 'continue or else' pointing her way (take a guess who it was) Thalia hurriedly continued, "So when we finally get our bearings we're on the BART train with you being all mopey in your chair," she received another glare from Annabeth for that one, "Little Miss Roman looked like she was gonna hurl..."

"HEY!" interjected Hazel furiously, "I have a name you know!"

Thalia waved her hand submissively. "Meh, whatever. Anyways, we were following you guys you know, in case of a monster attack or something. And some random green-eyed girl crashes into me and reveals my disguise, and the rest you guys know." She finished.

Jason shook his head. "Whoa, sis, quite a story. You must really care about Percy a lot." Was that...jealousy in his voice?

Thalia, oblivious as always, grinned. "Yeah, he's like a little brother to me." She smiled softly - well, as softly as someone like Thalia could smile.

Jason nodded rather tightly. "Alright, we better get going before we make a scene." He said, looking from left to right, anywhere but Thalia Annabeth noted.

The other three demigods nodded in agreement. Thalia picked up a corner of her cloak in disgust. "Well, I don't need this old thing anymore." She ripped cloak off, revealing her usual outfit of a black leather jacket, her favorite Death-To-Barbie t-shirt, and black combat boots.

Nico did likewise, and dusted his arms off. "Ugh, that thing smelled like perfume."

Everyone but Thalia looked at him weirdly. "What?" He said defensively.

Thalia just gave him a deadpan look. "Dude. We got these from the Aphrodite cabin and dyed them black. Everything in that...asylum is drowned in perfume."

Annabeth smacked her forehead.

Nico shrugged. "Very true." He turned to look at the last three members of the group. "Uhh...Piper?"

Jason turned to look at his girlfriend standing there frozen, pale as a sheet. "Pipes? What's wrong?"

Annabeth turned towards Piper worriedly. "Piper? You ok?"

Piper shakily nodded. "I'm ok but...Thalia, what color eyes did the girl that bumped into you have again?"

Thalia gave her a confused look. "Green, but why? That doesn't have anything to do with the situation..."

Annabeth didn't hear anything else Thalia said. Her heart felt like ice.

Green eyes.

Green eyes.

The prophecy!

Annabeth's mind started working at a hundred miles an hour. That girl...she must have something to do with the prophecy! But she didnt say anything, except how sorry she was out crashing into Thalia...

Beware the one with emerald eyes, for all she says shall all be lies.

But...if she was lying, all that made her was mean, right? And maybe Annabeth was overthinking things here. She was just some random girl with green eyes. Nothing special! Heck, plenty of people have green eyes, Percy included.

No, Annabeth's mind argued. You think it's a coincidence that a random girl with green eyes suddenly bumps into the two demigods that are following you and reveals Thalia? Hardly.

But who WAS that girl anyway? Why was she suddenly here? And what connection does she have with the demigods?

"Annabeth? Annabeth?" A hand waved in front her face.

Annabeth was snapped out of her train of thoughts and nodded sheepishly. "Sorry, just thinking."

Piper looked at Annabeth. "So you figured it out too?"

Annabeth nodded. "But it makes no sense." She frowned. "And I HATE not knowing!"

Leo looked at Thalia. "Umm...am I the only one here who doesn't know WHAT THE HADES IS GOING ON HERE!?"

"Hey!" Interjected Nico. "Doesn't anyone listen when I say DON'T USE MY DAD'S NAME LIKE THAT!"

"Dude, chill! It's not like I said your dad was an emo psychopath!"

"YOU JUST DID!"

Annabeth glared at Thalia. "I STILL can't believe that you'd sneak our of camp!"

Thalia rolled her eyes. "Like YOU haven't done your share of illegal quests Owl Head!"

"At least mine were justified!"

"Oh, and saving Percy, your boyfriend isn't?"

"Shut up Pinecone Face!"

"Make me, Bird Brain!"

"Seriously, what is it with demigods and my dad's name!?"

"Your dad isn't the greatest god that ever existed, sorry to burst your bubble!"

"WHY YOU LITTLE-"

"EVERYONE SHUT UP!"

The whole group was stunned into silence.

Hazel stood, trembling with fury, and glaring at the four offenders. "What is WRONG with you guys? We can't work together like this! Or are you going to put your petty arguments ahead of Percy?"

Frank out his arm around Hazel, looking at everyone with the steely eyes of a Roman leader. "If we can't get along, we'll have to separate." He turne towards the feuding four. "Annabeth, Leo, Jason, and Piper will go to Annabeth's parents' house, and me, Hazel, Thalia and Nico will go find a hotel room."

Annabeth nodded begrudgingly.

Leo chimed in, "Hey, what are you going to rent the hotel room with anyways?"

Piper gave him a 'duh' look. "Don't you remember? Chiron gave us those special credit cards with Greek writing all over them."

"Oh, hehehe..." Leo laughed sheepishly.

Hazel clapped her hands together. "Well, let's get a move on!"

And chapter complete! I threw in some extra drama, ya know, since everyone's kinda falling apart without Percy, so I hope the characters aren't too OOC...and since Annabeth's all freaking out about Percy, Jason's jealous, Piper's scared, and the other four we arguing like there's no tomorrow, Hazel and Frank have to step up and be the leaders for a while. So yeah ^^ Hope you liked this chapter, and any guesses on who the green-eyed girl is? (Hint: she was in the story earlier)
