Hey guys, Raven here! I'm sooo sorry for not updating this story for a long, long time; life just gets in the way. I have not forgotten this story, I already have 6 Chapters written but I'm still going over them to get back into the story. I have been super busy with school and just random stuff. Lately I've not been right in the head so I've needed constant reminders from my phone and calendar to help with important events. At the start of the year I forgot my password on here and practically freaked out since I couldn't find my password book since I had reorganized my book shelves. It was until last week that I came on here and just signed in and got in that I realized…."wait a minute, I'm in!" I ate ice cream as my victory celebration lol.

Disclaimer: Sadly I don't own Naruto or any of the characters, the Naruto Universe belongs solely to the creative genius that is Masashi Kishimoto….although I do question the crap of an ending that we got and therefore am pretending that anything after 699 didn't happen. But I do own the story and the OCs that will come out in here so it's not a total loss!

So without further ado (I've always wanted to say that :D), we continue on with the story at long last!

The Anti-Love Potion Chapter 3

Tsunade was not having good day, nor was she having a bad day. From what Tsunade could concur from the moment she had woken up next to her many bottles of sake, due to last night's overload of the dreaded paperwork, it was definitely a peaceful and boring day.

There weren't really any emergency high level missions to distribute out to any of the Jounin and Anbu other than the same old boring D-rank and C-rank missions for the Genins and Chunins. Even the hell cat that was known to escape from the clutches of the feudal lord's wife's 'affection' and run all over the village trying to escape any of the poor fools who were unfortunate enough to be assigned the mission to capture it hasn't even made a sound; it was as if the day was just so boring for the cat that it decided to laze about within its' home and just not bother with its' annoying, unbearable owner.

Tsunade sighed and looked around her grand desk looking for her current bottle of sake taking in the view that for once her desk wasn't littered with piles of paperwork. On rare days such as this, it made her sort of want for the mind breaking hours of signing the endless amounts of documents that Shizune would bring in piles at a time but at the same time, she wouldn't want to jinx it; after all, when was she going to have another opportunity to drink her precious sake in peace.

But still, did the day itself have to be so dull? I guess she should count her luck for once and just enjoy the peace and quiet while it lasts. Sighing once again, she faced away from her neat desk to gaze out openly and take in the view of Konoha.

From what she could see, many of the villagers were going about their normal lives following their normal routines as they have always lived this way; they seemed quite content with the way they lived their lives as long as they had their Hokage protecting them. Taking her gaze in different parts of the village, she soon spotted three familiar Genins that looked to be in a small argument; one of which reminded her of a certain blonde.

A small smile soon made its' way to Tsunade's face as she started thinking of her favorite gaki and future 6th Hokage. She had no doubt that Naruto would indeed follow in his father's footsteps and surpass all previous Hokage, after all the kid has definitely proved himself time and time again with each challenge thrown at him. Even the villagers, who once hated, feared and despised him now all show respect and praise him as a hero; the hero he should have been when the Kyuubi was sealed into his small infant body.

Thinking of how the villagers use to treat her gaki before she was brought back by the ball of sunshine himself always made her cringe in hate. If she had only stayed and endured her pain of losing her loved ones, she would have gladly spilled many of the villager's blood all for the sake of protecting Naruto but then at the same time, she reluctantly believed their treatment served a purpose.

If it wasn't for the fact that Naruto endured a lot of pain his whole life, he never would have been the strong and determined proud knucklehead that he is; not to mention he was just too kind hearted for his own good and easily forgave those that betrayed him.

As soon as the word 'betrayed' came to mind, she soon started wondering to the Uchiha brat that had been the main concern of her gaki.

When the Uchiha left the village and joined her former teammate Orochimaru years ago, she had held a deep hatred for the brat. Not for abandoning his village and everyone in it but for hurting Naruto all for the sake of power.

She remembered when Kakashi had brought in Naruto after returning from the failed rescue mission, the young blond looked beaten up all over with a lot of blood soaking through his orange jumpsuit. If she weren't the Hokage, she certainly would have gone on a bloody rampage demanding the bloods of those who hurt the blond. She had nearly lost him several times during surgery because of the large amount of blood he lost but since the Kyuubi refused to die, he had helped during those critical moments to help revive the blond and for once in her life she was grateful to the fox.

She never mentioned almost losing Naruto to anyone, especially to the gaki himself; she knew that even if she had told him that, he would have never stopped his search for the Uchiha but she had a vague idea that he knew.

When the Uchiha was brought back about a year ago, she thought for sure that after he was fully healed he would have taken an opportunity to leave the village once again but surprisingly he didn't; he simply stated that he wanted to return.

Her blood started to boil as she thought about the events from that time. After many arguments with the damned elders, broken furniture and windows, and many bottles of sake did she finally concede and allowed the Uchiha back in Konoha; but that didn't mean she was happy about it, the dent on the wall of one of the rooms where the Uchiha had stayed in the hospital was the proof of that. Not to mention the D-rank missions he had to do for a year and a half serving as part of his punishment was very satisfying.

After all that mess was finally settled, life in Konoha started falling back into place.

Taking a sip of her Sake and relishing the burning effects of the alcohol run down her throught, she was about to lean back in her seat to relax a bit when suddenly the door burst open nearly causing her to choke on her drink. After she recovered and quickly composed herself she was about to voice out her anger to whomever it was who nearly caused her drown in her precious sake when she halted herself all together.

There on the other side of the room stood most of the members of Team Kakashi and other nins that she immediately recognized as friends of her gaki but that's not what made her freeze in place.

In the center of the shinobi in front of her was the Uchiha holding an unconscious Naruto in his arms tied up in chains that were being held by the weapon master kunoichi of Team Guy. From what she could sense, the chains were coated in a fair amount of chakra in order to prevent the blond from breaking them when he awoke.

Upon further analyses towards the group she noticed that a few of them had several cuts and bruises, nothing too serious but upon closer observation from a certain Uchiha, she noticed he had what appeared to be the beginning of a dark bruise on his right cheek. 'Now who in the world could have done that?' thought Tsunade. Snapping herself out of her thoughts, she rose from her chair and went around her desk to stand in front of the group.

"What the hell is going on here?! Why do you have him chained up?!" demanded Tsunade with so much authority, as one can expect from the Hokage herself, while directing a glare to everyone in the group. "There had better be a damn good reason for this!"

"Believe me Hokage-sama, there is" a voice stated behind Tsunade. Redirecting her glare to the newcomer coming inside through the window, she noticed it was Kakashi but before she could yell at him for not using the damn door like always, she noticed he wasn't reading his orange book of smut and was at full attention which meant only one thing...

… The situation was very serious.

Same Time elsewhere….

"…And finally two orders of sleeping herbal remedies, this should help that poor woman with her insomnia. That concludes the list of orders and the expected time of pickups, now I can finally get some rest" said an old woman in a dark cloak. Placing her reading glasses on to the table, she rubbed her eyes to re-adjust her vision from the paperwork she had just been working on.

'My, how time flies when you're too preoccupied with certain tasks but at least that's been taken care of until the new orders come in. Still, I can't help but to feel that I've forgotten to do something, something very important; curse my old age, my mind isn't the same as it used to be' thought the old woman. Picking up her cup of tea and taking a few sips to quench her thirst, she still couldn't shake the feeling away; it was practically giving her a migraine.

Looking around the room, she tried to figure out what was out of place or anything missing. Many books and scrolls practically littered the book shelves, different types of plants, herbs and exotic looking rare flowers littered most of the room creating the feeling of being lost in the wilderness, many empty jars and viles ready to be filled with potions and other concoctions, and of course some of her personal belongings to make her work space more comfortable to her liking. 'Nothing doesn't seem to be out of place so what is it?'

As she was taking a sip of her tea again, she noticed a small black box that sat innocently by itself near the viles of potions that were already made.

Placing her tea back down on the table, she walked towards the box and carefully picked it up. 'I don't know why I continue holding on to this rather than destroying it, it's been nothing but trouble ever since I created it' she bitterly thought. Just as she was about to open the box and take a look at what contained inside, there was a knock on her door. She placed the box back down and uttered a quick 'come in'. As soon as she said that, in came a hooded young man with a scroll in his hands.

"Hey grams, we have another order of your special blossom blend potion".

'Another order for an aphrodisiac? That makes 14 so far and it's not even past noon yet, girls these days are so desperate for romance; they'll do practically anything' "Ah yes, Thank you Shigeru" the old woman said while taking the scroll from the young man.

While waiting for the old woman to finish going over the scroll, the young man known as Shigeru took this time to look around the back room; it always amazed him how wild the place looked yet everything was still properly organized, he'd have to ask the old woman one of these days how she manages to find anything.

After noticing any new changes to the room, he discreetly made his way towards the many viles filled with potions of different colors that were located where his object of years of curiosity sat; the mysterious black box. He walked towards the box until he stood directly in front of it.

Ever since he first saw the box as a child many years ago, his curiosity was instantly piqued. He's tried many attempts back then to sneak a peak of what could possibly be inside but the old woman was always a step ahead of him. As he got older the attempts of trying to find out what's in the box soon disappeared but the possibilities of what might be hidden inside never left him.

He's tried many sneaky attempts to get his hands on the box but the old hag was always one step ahead of him; she wasn't a former shinobi for nothing. Even when the old woman wasn't even in the room or nearby, she always managed to prevent him from looking inside or to even go near it. 'Damn traps'.

He's tried asking the old woman several times what was inside but the answer was always the same: 'you shouldn't ask things that don't really concern you, it'll do you no good' 'Instead of asking what's inside, shouldn't you be doing your chores?' 'Just forget about it'. How the hell was he supposed to forget about it when he didn't know what was inside the damn thing?!

He glanced quickly behind him towards the old woman and noticed she had her back towards him reading the contents of the scroll noticing she was too deeply in her reading of the scroll to notice anything else. 'Now's my chance, one peek wouldn't hurt' he thought as he lifted his hand and placed it on the box and began to slowly open it; the thought of finally seeing what secrets the box contained after so many years excited him. Just as he was about to look inside, the other occupants voice startled him.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you"

Nearly jumping out of his skin, he quickly slammed the lid back down and turned around to face the old lady but in doing so he bumped the table where he was currently standing and knocked over the box along with several bottles of potions.

He closed his eyes and cringed when he heard the huge racket he had created and the thumping noise when the box hit the ground; the old hag would certainly have his neck for breaking the newly made potions and if whatever was inside broke.

He waited with baited breathe for a loud and long lecture about his carelessness but after a few quiet and agonizing moments, he carefully opened one eye and gazed towards the old woman and soon became very concerned.

The old woman had a look that appeared to be a cross between angry, shock, and fear? 'What the hell? Why would she be afraid?' Shigeru thought but then realized that the old woman wasn't looking at him; she was looking towards the box that now sat on floor next to him.

He slowly turned his head down to where the box fell and noticed it was completely on its side, opened. He knew that he was a dead man if whatever was inside was damaged or broken so summoning up all his bravery, he bent down and picked up the box; what was contained inside certainly did surprise him and leave him breathless…for inside that mysterious black box was…..

…..nothing.

The tension in the room and the Hokage's anger was starting to get to everyone but Tsunade didn't care, all that mattered at the moment was finding out the reason why her gaki was currently tied up and unconscious by his so called "friends". If they were to give her some lame ass bullshit excuse, heads would definitely roll along with some humiliating punishment for making her nearly choke while drinking her sake.

She regarded each person in front of her carefully, her gaze lingering on the Uchiha a little longer, before taking a deep breath to calm herself down; it wouldn't do her any good to be angry without any explanations….at least not yet.

"Before I hear your explanation, I'd like it if you would untie him; TenTen, release your hold on the chains and unchain him." ordered Tsunade.

Paling slightly, TenTen held on to the chains tighter. "With all due respect Lady Tsunade, I-I don't think that's a good idea" TenTen replied while wincing slightly do due to the furious look Tsunade was currently giving her for not complying with her demand.

"And. Why. NOT?" gritting her teeth and clenching her fist, Tsunade was trying hard not to punch and break anything in her office; that included those in front of her.

"Because Lady Tsunade, it's all part of the reason why we are here" intervened Kakashi while standing in front of her, shielding the others from her wrath that was sure to erupt any minute now if she didn't get any answers soon.

Taking another deep breath to calm herself down, which helped only a little this time, Tsunade made her way back to her seat and gulped down the rest of her sake to help lesson her anger which helped much better this time; ah…the miracle of sake. It's surprising how she hasn't succumbed to alcohol poisoning from all that she's drank over the years and the amount of stress she now goes through as Hokage but then again alcohol poisoning be damned, she wasn't a great healer for nothing.

Setting the bottle back down, she leaned forward and placed her arms on her desk while intertwining her fingers. "I'm listening" was all she said.

Taking a glance back towards the ones behind him, Kakashi nodded in their direction letting them know that he'll do the explaining. Once he got several nods back as confirmation, he then turned and faced the Hokage once more.

"Things were going well as usual so I'll skip to the part that turned everything into a mess" stated Kakashi only to get a nod back from Tsunade to continue.

"It started like this…"

Flashback:

When Naruto had opened his eyes, Kakashi and Shino had noticed something that everyone hadn't even noticed yet; Naruto's beautiful blue eyes were now a dark and menacing violet color.

'That's peculiar, don't Naruto's eyes turn blood red whenever Kyuubi is involved?' thought Shino.

"Dobe, you had me worried. Don't do that to me again" said Sasuke while hugging Naruto to him.

"…of me" muttered Naruto.

"What was that Dobe" asked Sasuke while reluctantly pulling back from the hug.

"I said Get. The. Fuck. Off. Of. Me" uttered Naruto with so much venom in his voice while giving the coldest glare that anyone has ever seen him do to the Uchiha holding him.

To say everyone was speechless was an understatement but those words coming from the happy blonde in a tone that made hell freeze over was beyond frightening.

The only thing going through everyone's mind was 'What the fuck?!'

Several quiet agonizing moments went by with everyone trying to process what just happened. The always happy-go-lucky hyperactive loud blonde was now doing the opposite and glaring hatefully at his other half. Normally if this was a lover's quarrel where one was caught cheating in the act while the other was spewing hateful words at the other would be understandable but none of that had happened! Everything was just fine moments ago!

"Are you hard of hearing? I said let me the fuck go now bastard!" yelled the angry blonde while starting to struggle in Sasuke's hold.

Getting over his shock, Sasuke held on longer. "Oi, what the hell is wrong with you?"

"I don't need to explain myself to a bastard like you! Now, let me go right now!" Naruto said while trying to throw a punch at his captor but couldn't due to the hold that Sasuke had on him.

"Look, if this is about me trying to grope you earlier, I apologies. Lighten up will you?" said Sasuke while closing his eyes; he could feel a headache starting to build up.

"Disgusting pervert! As if I'd ever let someone like you touch me in that way" stated the blonde with disgust in his tone while nearly getting his arm free.

"Watch what you say Dobe, your starting to piss me off" Sasuke narrowed his eyes at his blonde as a warning. That comment slightly hurt him but he let it slide thinking Naruto was just trying to provoke him into another heated sparing session even though he could of just asked liked any normal person; he wouldn't fall for it this time. Last time he did, he ended up accidently breaking Naruto's arm while the dobe himself was trying to pin him from behind. He had felt a bit guilty for doing that to his dobe but a part of him thought he somewhat deserved it. Only thing was Naruto wouldn't say something that would badly hurt or offend the other's feelings, he was too kind hearted for his own good and only took jabs of random stuff.

"Oh yeah? THEN PISS OFF BASTARD!" yelled Naruto while yanking his arm free and delivered a powerful punch to the shocked Uchiha's face sending him flying a couple feet away. Naruto quickly got up and was about to run after him to deliver another blow but was suddenly held back by Kakashi.

"Sasuke-kun!" screeched Sakura while running to her teammate to make sure he was alright. She bent down and was about to gently pull him up when he suddenly sat up, pushing her away in the process and making her fall on her butt on the ground. He ignored the hurt look she sent him and only kept his focus on Naruto.

"What the hell's gotten into you Naruto?!" glared Sasuke while ignoring the need to hold his cheek which was now painfully throbbing and was, without a doubt, going to leave a nasty looking bruise.

"SHUT-UP BASTARD!" roared Naruto while struggling within Kakashi's grip. "Let me go Kakashi-Sensei!"

"Easy Naruto, there's no need to fight; just calm down" said Kakashi keeping a good grip on him.

"Yes Naruto-kun! There's no need to be unyouthful and start an unnecessary fight!" Lee said trying to reason with him.

All of a sudden Naruto just stopped moving and lowered his head down blocking everyone's view of his face; he stayed that way without moving or uttering a single word. Sasuke stood up and was about to go confront Naruto but something in the back of his mind was warning him not to go near the blonde just yet even though he so desperately wanted to hold him.

After a couple of minutes which felt like hours, Naruto still hadn't moved; it was becoming alarming for everyone. Everyone was starting to get worried about Naruto's sudden behavior and were about to finally approach him when he finally spoke; only this time his words were cold and unnerving, surprising them even further.

"….I get it. You're all on his side because nobody wants the filthy demon hurting their precious Uchiha. It's always Uchiha this and Uchiha that. Even when he left the village and betrayed us all, you all still accepted him back with open arms yet if I were the one who would of left and was brought back, I would of been immediately sentence to death….after all…" lifting his head up and glaring at those in front of him, especially at Sasuke, with such fury.

"…traitors are more trust worthy than the worthless demon." He harshly spat while keeping his gaze with that of Sasuke who's eyes widen from what was just said, he wasn't the only one though; everyone was staring at Naruto in disbelief.

He felt Kakashi's grip loosen a bit but that was all Naruto needed to escape. Pumping some chakra in his strength in order to help him, he managed to grab a hold of Kakashi's arm and sent the stunned man crashing into a tree just a couple feet away. As soon as Kakashi made contact with the tree, his body poofed from existence and in its place was a broken log. 'Tch, damn substitution jutsu'.

Ignoring Kakashi's whereabouts for the time being, Naruto took the opportunity to go after the young Uchiha but before he could take a couple of steps away, he was intercepted once again.

"What's happened to you Naruto-kun? Why would you do that to your own sensei and how could you say such hurtful things to Sasuke-kun?" Lee said while standing in front of the blonde.

"This has got nothing to do with any of you but that wretched Uchiha but if you don't get out of my way bushy brow, I will have no choice but to make you" uttered Naruto while his eyes started to flash dangerously in warning.

"I will not allow this unyouthfulness to continue! Come! I will be your opponent instead!" determination flowing through Lee while getting into fighting position.

"Fine, but don't say I didn't warn you Bushy Brow: Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

Before Lee stood ten clones with Naruto mixed somewhere within the group, all staring down the green clad shinobi before them. Before anyone could blink, all the clones suddenly vanished and appeared at all of Lee's direction readying to attack. Lee jumps high up in the air and aims for the two clones that were the closest to him.

"Leaf Hurricane!"

As soon as the two clones poofed from existence, two more clones appeared and took their place fighting Lee head on while the other clones looked for an opening to take down the taijutsu specialist. As soon as another clone got taken out, more clones appeared in its place attempting to overpower Lee but thanks to all the vigorous training he went through, Lee managed to hold his own and easily plowed through several clones with his taijustu while more and more clones were summoned. Soon Lee was up against 100 clones, instead of feeling frustrated (like most do when in a never ending pattern); he took it as challenge and faced it head on with determination.

As this went on, the others watching on the sidelines were all in their own thoughts trying to figure out why was this happening and how to approach the situation while trying to subdue the former sunshine.

'Damnit Dobe, what the hell has gotten into you? Is it the Kyuubi?' thought Sasuke. From all the anger and aggression that Naruto was showing, it was all pointing to the fox demon himself but something was different this time. Usually when Naruto was being influenced by the Kyuubi, his facial features would change into something feral like those of the Inuzuka Clan and his chakra would start to spike up at an alarming rate depending on how far gone into the transformation Naruto was in; in all that had just occurred, Naruto had yet to show any of those traits. His face was still the same, except for the irritated frown that wasn't supposed to be there on his happy blonde and his beautiful sky blue eyes were still the beautiful sky violet eyes that he has always loved looking into whenev…..

'Wait a minute, violet?' Looking closely at the Naruto clones as they continued to attack Lee, it was then that he fully noticed that Naruto's eyes were indeed a violet color meaning it wasn't the Kyuubi influencing him…right? 'Naruto's eyes turn bloody red with silts whenever he taps into the fox's chakra, what the hell does this color mean? Is it the Kyuubi or not?!' Growing frustrated with the lack of answers and the questions that were starting to pile up, Sasuke was about to head into the fight to try and get Naruto to snap out of whatever it was that he in but was blocked by the other shinobi that witnessed the events.

"I wouldn't recommend heading into the fight Sasuke" Shino said without taking his eyes away from the fight.

"Then what the hell am I supposed to do? Just sit back and allow him to go on a rampage?" snarled Sasuke towards the quiet bug nin.

"Of course not! We need a plan first before taking action!" Ino said with a huff.

"Look carefully Sasuke, haven't you noticed that Kakashi-san hasn't come out of his hiding place for a reason?" said Tenten.

'Kakashi? I nearly forgot about him'. Taking his eyes away from the two girls he activated his Sharingan and scanned the training grounds in hopes of spotting or at least get some sort of clue as to where Kakashi had went. It didn't take him long to find the white haired Jounin hidden behind a tree a couple meters away from where Lee and Naruto were fighting, especially since said Jounin had his Sharingan active and gave a brief nod in his direction once he was found.

"Wait for an opening and then go in" said Shino

"What are you going to-"

"Now Choji!" interrupted Ino while forming some hand signs.

"Right! Expansion Jutsu: Human Boulder!" shouted Choji. while growing into a giant ball and sped forward towards the battle.

Thanks to Lee, there were only about 30 clones left with the real Naruto being mixed within them but it had also caused him to tire a bit; the blonde saw no need to waste any more chakra than necessary and stopped summoning clones, wanting to save it for his true target. Wanting to finish things off now so that Lee wouldn't interfere anymore, Naruto silently ordered the rest of the clones to attack Lee head on while one clone stayed behind to help the real Naruto form the Rasengan and another to sneak to a place to hide in order to build up chakra.

Lee kept up his efforts and blocked most of the attacks that the clones were trying to do, he knew that Naruto was trying to distract him long enough so that he could form his signature jutsu but he wasn't going to fall for that; the only problem was Naruto had given the shadow clones in front of him some extra chakra so it was a bit difficult to get them to poof from existence and with Naruto fighting like he actually wanted to cause some damage, it just raised the difficulty a bit up. Despite the situation, Lee really didn't want to hurt Naruto; whether real or not, he was still a friend.

"Just give up already Naruto-kun! I don't want to hurt you!" pleaded Lee as he dodged another punch aimed for his face. The clone's response to that was a frustrated grunt and the continuing onslaught attacks while the other clones either did the same or aimed several shuriken at him.

Not having enough time to deflect the shurikens, Lee jumped out of the way and narrowly avoided the weapons but just as he did that, another weapon attached to a long chain came out of nowhere behind the young nin and took out five of the clones. Before the other clones could react, Choji came in at that moment barreling his way and destroying some of the clones being mindful of where his comrades were.

"Tenten! Choji" exclaimed Lee while turning towards his teammate.

"Stay sharp Lee, it's not over yet until we subdue him" said Tenten without taking her eyes off the blonde who was at this point getting even more frustrated.

"Right!" Lee said while looking back to the battlefield and watched how Choji continued taking out the remaining clones.

The clone with the real Naruto who still trying to build up chakra to complete the Rasengan suddenly stopped moving his hands.

"What the hell? What's wrong?" said Naruto. The clone kept struggling but couldn't lift his arms back up to complete the jutsu.

"Mind Destruction Jutsu!"

Looking past his struggling clone to the one who shouted the jutsu, Naruto saw Ino with her hands in a square slightly struggling and knew that she was the cause of the incomplete jutsu. He felt around for his last clone that was somewhere hidden but then felt it poof out of existence; from the memories he got, the clone got taken out by a swarm of beetles curtesy of Shino.

'Damnit! I nearly had enough chakra. I'll just have to try again'"Multi-shadow clo…"

"Expansion Jutsu: Human Boulder Canon Ball!"(1)

'What?!' Out of nowhere he was surrounded by four large rolling boulders heading towards him at break neck speed; apparently when he was checking for his clone, Chouji had used the opportunity to create three clones and try to box him in. From what he could see beyond the clones, he saw Tenten had summoned a whole bunch of chains and was heading towards him as a backup in case he managed to slip by the clones. 'Damn, they're REALLY serious about stopping me, talk about over doing it'.

As all four boulders were heading towards him, he knew he wouldn't be able to fully dodge them especially at the speed they were going at; he could call on Kyuubi's chakra for support but he wanted to save enough chakra for his real target. With no other options left Naruto poured chakra into his legs and jumped into the air just in time to avoid Chouji's attacks and narrowly dodged the chains aimed at his legs but as soon as he was in the air, he was wide open for an attack from Kakashi.

True to his former occupation, the former Anbu flawlessly avoided Chouji's clones and Tenten's arsenal of chains as if he were merely dancing in the air and punched the blonde sending him flying back down to the ground a couple feet away from Sakura.. The blonde lay in a small crater and struggled to get up due to the effects of the blow.

"Sakura, hold him down long enough for me or Sasuke to get there!" commanded Kakashi but it all fell on deaf ears, Sakura was frozen in place.

Sakura had watched how the fight progressed and waited to aid the others in an opportunity to stop her teammate but when the blonde landed in her direction and was about to run at him, she took one look at him and froze. The blonde had several scratches that were slowly healing due to the fox on visible parts of his body and a large bruise forming on his face but what had stopped her was the expression he had on his face and it was directed towards her. The blonde looked at her like she was the enemy. Naruto, no matter what situation they were in, looked at her with a kind goofy smile on his face and never failed to every time they were in each other's presence. This Naruto was different. This wasn't the Naruto she knew.

"Na-Naruto…?" whispered Sakura in disbelief.

"Sakura snap out it!" yelled Kakashi. 'Damnit, I got to act fast'. Kakashi had started running as fast as he could towards the duo and pushed himself even further when Naruto had managed to stand on his feet and face Sakura. "Naruto don't!"

"Naruto…? Y-you wouldn't…." Sakura's voice died down when Naruto's expression never changed. Before she could even blink, Naruto lunged right at her; all Sakura could do was close her eyes and hope that this was all a bad dream. When she didn't feel any impact, she opened her eyes and saw the familiar Uchiha symbol standing in front of her. Her heart started to beat, Sasuke had saved her.

"S-Sasuke-kun? T-Thank yo…"

"LET GO OF ME YOU BASTARD!"

Sakura was snapped out of it by her other teammate's sudden outburst and noticed that Naruto was once again in the arms of the young Uchiha in a tight embrace struggling to get out. The feelings she had started to have a moment ago and the thought that Sasuke had cared enough about her to protect her were instantly crushed the moment she saw how Sasuke wouldn't let go of Naruto no matter what the blonde did to get him to do so. Before she could once again sink into jealousy's clutches, Sasuke spoke.

"I'm sorry Naruto…." solemnly whispered Sasuke.

Before Naruto could react, Sasuke used his Chidori stream to suddenly shock the blonde in order to get him to submit. The blonde screamed in agony before finally losing consciousness in Sasuke's arms. Before Sasuke could lower him down, chains coated in chakra wrapped around the blonde. He glared in the direction of the owner who held the chains for a while until Kakashi patted him on the shoulder to gain his attention.

"Not exactly what I was going for but under these circumstances there was little choice. Good work everyone" said Kakashi as he was assessing over everyone's condition. His eyes stayed longer on Naruto and once again tried to figure out how things got this way before focusing his attention to his other student. "Sakura, just what exactly caused you to freeze up back there? You could've gotten seriously hurt with the way Naruto is right now."

Sakura looked up from her previous gaze to look up to Kakashi and saw that he was waiting for an explanation. "I…"

"Tch"

Both Kakashi and Sakura turned towards Sasuke who had loosened his grip on his dobe but still held on to him and glared at the corner of his eye towards the pinket.

"Sasuke-kun?"

"If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't of have to of done that to Naruto; one gaze into the Sharingan and he'd have been knocked out but you…"'You made me hurt Naruto' bitterly thought the Uchiha. His heart ached for doing that to Naruto but he had no choice since Naruto had made it difficult during his struggling to get him to look him in his crimson eyes and it was that entire damn girl's fault for not doing a damn thing. A ninja cannot afford to make mistakes, not even for a small instant!

"But Sasuke-kun I-"

"That's enough Sasuke-kun! Sakura-chan was probably surprised by Naruto-kun's sudden change that she couldn't help but freeze up; it just couldn't be helped" declared Lee while defending the pinket. Sakura gave him a grateful smile but it was immediately turned into a sad frown when Sasuke turned away from them.

"Whatever"

"Right now our top priority is Naruto, we should get him to Hokage sama at once" Shino stated before getting a nod from Kakashi.

"Tenten, make sure to stay close to Sasuke and Naruto and keep a steady grip on the chains; we wouldn't want Naruto waking up and have him repeat this all over again".

"Right" replied Tenten. She waited for Sasuke to adjust Naruto into a comfortable position in his arms before they started to walk out of the field and headed towards the Hokage tower.

Everyone slowly started heading towards the direction of the hokage tower with Sakura being the only one still standing in the training grounds. She thought about what Sasuke had said and blamed herself for not doing as she was told to please Sasuke but it wouldn't have mattered if she'd done what she was told; Sasuke was solely focused on Naruto and nobody else.

'Naruto…' clenching her fist and forgetting about had happened with Naruto a few moments ago; she started thinking bitterly about the blonde again. 'Why him? Why? WHY?!'

"Sakura"

"Huh?"

Sakura looked up in the direction of the one who called her and saw Kakashi standing in the clearing. "Are you coming?"

Putting on a fake smile she nodded and ran up to walk with the Jounin. As they both walked away from the training grounds, a small shiny bottle with specks of red lay forgotten on the ground covered by the grass.

End of Flashblack:

Everything was quiet in the Hokage's office, no one dared to make any noise as they eagerly awaited what Tsunade's reaction would be to the events that were just told.

On the outside Tsunade didn't show any emotion as one would expect from a Kage but on the inside her emotions were going wild and rampant with what she had just heard. There was so many things running through her mind but not one was a single explanation as to what had happened to her gaki. What if it was a new way for the Kyuubi to appear without detection? She'll need to send for Yamato as quickly as possible.

Forcing her emotions aside, she stood up and walked towards the Uchiha who in turn held the blonde closer to him. From the corner of her eye, she nearly missed Sakura slightly flinch at the gesture but just dismissed it thinking it was her being worried. She returned her focus in front of her and reached out her hand to gently caress her gaki's head before reluctantly taking her hand back. "Follow me."

She walked towards the double doors and opened them, before taking another step she addressed the others. "Kakashi come with me as well, the rest of you get yourselves checked out after you leave here; I don't want any complaints understand" commanded Tsunade. Before the others could respond, she spoke once again. "Shizune, once Yamato is free from his errand, send him to me at once".

"Yes my lady" nodded Shizune. Tsunade then headed out the door with Sasuke, Tenten and Kakashi following behind her while Shizune guided the others to the hospital for a medical checkup.

The day was no longer boring for Tsunade as the day just got complicated instead.
